I mean, the pokemon world has proven to have fairly advances technology. It wouldn't be far fetched for them to have planetary colonies...although the sun is a ball of plasma sooooo

Pokemon Moon sounds wicked awesome to me. I am totally getting that asap.

But does this mean... maybe a whole new anime season with all new characters? I know XYZ just aired in English about last week, but I can just feel a new region coming on obviously. (Which is disappointing because I literally though XY was the end of Pokemon ever) well I was wrong. I mean now I look back and I think, why did I ever let that cross my mind. :/

I'm sorry if I came off that way, I wasn't making fun of you. I think having someone with your type of perspective on Pokemon is good for the community. You just remind me a lot of myself when I first joined UPN.

I am not sure. The website right now is only showing a couple of image graphics and nothing else. However, if you go to the Nintendo Direct archive, the latest video is hosted directly on YouTube instead of on an in-house platform (interesting ...), which makes me wonder if the Pokémon Nintendo Direct is going to be launched exactly at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on YouTube available for all to see. If it is, then you should have no more trouble watching this Direct from the bathroom than you would any other YouTube video.

Guys I was being serious. They show all the main series games in like a timeline, then say "it all comes together in Pokemon Sun and Moon." This may be the super-game that everyone has wanted where you go to all six regions.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but HNNNNGGGG I WANT IT

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are confirmed for worldwide release Holiday 2016.

The games are also confirmed for release on the 3DS. The graphics look like a nice version of what we saw in X and Y.

When the video zooms in on the screenshot of the spa resort, you can see a trainer on the bottom right who looks an awful lot like Red. The back of his cap is black, though, and he's got Phoenix Wright hedgehog hair in the back with massive sideburns on the side, so it's more likely that he's the new male protagonist (or just placeholder art that isn't even going to matter much in the end). But who knows! Maybe it's Timeskip Red paying the new region a visit ... ;o

My current money is definitely on Sun and Moon being to X and Y what Gold and Silver were to Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. The same graphics engine (with touch-ups) but with new creatures, a new region, and more.
