Squirtle New Fizzy Rules and Guidelines!~

Hello Hi, Welcome to Fizzy Bubbles, a long-time running Forum based Pokémon RPG! So, If you're viewing this thread, chances are you are interested in joining our community. Great! Before you jump into registering you'll want to review this thread to get an understanding of what you'll be getting into.
Let's kick things off with our general rules that must be followed at all times. ( Don't be too afraid, these are in place to make sure everything flows nicely and they aren't too difficult to follow )

General Rules;

  • Follow UPN’s code-of-conduct/All rules of UPN apply.
  • Treat other members with respect. Discrimination against race, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, or otherwise will not be tolerated and be dealt with accordingly. FB members who badger, bully, or harass other FB members – whether it’s on UPN or elsewhere! – will be punished. We will not tolerate that here at all. ( This should not EVER be hard to follow. )
  • Double Accounts are not allowed. If it is discovered that you have more than one account, you will have to immediately deactivate all accounts but one. You will not be allowed to trade Pokemon between accounts or consolidate them. That said, siblings, family members, roommates, and others who share IP addresses may have their own accounts; however, you must let the mods know if you might be sharing an IP address with another member or members, as it will help us ensure that we are not unnecessarily flagging members for double account usage. Another thing to note, Members that share IP addresses CAN, Update each other so long as they are not Significant Others and things remain unbiased.
  • If it is discovered that a member who was previously banned is attempting to evade their ban by creating a second account, that account will be banned as well.
  • Fizzy Bubbles, as a whole, uses the GMT timezone. All dates and deadlines use this timezone so it is important for you to be familiar with it. Please ensure that you adhere to this timezone if posting in something with a deadline (such as the daycare center).
  • Please remember that FB encourages personal expression and creative development. While constructive criticism is allowed and encouraged, we strongly discourage snide remarks, jabs, and disparaging comments towards others' choices in regards to trainer and Pokémon personalities, recolors, Secret Bases, and the like. If an individual is truly struggling with their writing or creative development in such a way as to impact the quality of an RP for others, the appropriate ZA/ZU or the mods themselves will take the necessary steps to address it.
  • Do not disparage others for winning contests, receiving good RNG rolls in an event, or finding a particularly nice Pokémon or item in a zone. Jealousy should never be a motivator for one's actions. THAT BEING SAID, if you truly believe that someone has received a Pokémon or item unfairly, particularly in Free For All Zones, please address these concerns directly to the mods.

Now that you've read through the rules, let us move on to the next step, Registration!

Registration Steps
  • First, post in the Registration thread with your trainer’s name, Starter Pokémon and Background information (as a bare minimum - you may be as detailed with your character's appearance, history, and personality as you like).
Starter Pokemon will be at Lv5 and are allowed one egg or move tutor move which that Pokemon's species can learn in the games. You may choose your starter's gender (if it has one).
  • You may not start with an evolved Pokémon, Legendary, Ultra Beast, Phione, Paradox, or a Fossil Pokémon. Starters may also not be shiny, shadow, recolored, scarred, or a Fakémon. Bear in mind that recolors, scars, and other attributes can be added later in our Boutique.
  • You will be sent a PM in which you have to make a zone intro or a reply to an RP prompt. Reply to the PM with your answer. You will be notified if you’re accepted afterward. ~
  • After being accepted you may pick up the starter pack described in the first post of the registration thread and create a Members Post. Following completion of a Member's Post, you may copy your zone intro test into the appropriate zone so you may start an adventure there (provided the mods have not requested you to make any edits and, in the case of seasonal zones, that the zone is still in operation).

~ Mods won't bite, Don't be afraid to ask questions if you have them or if you want tips or pointers.

From here, We will be going over how to set up your Member Profile after you've been accepted!

Member Profile

You passed and are now a full-fledged member of FB! Wonderful! Now what? Well next up is making your Members Profile.
You'll go over to the FB Members List, and you'll make your own thread, and from there on set up your members post. Your Member Profile can be stylized however you want it to and can have as many or as few posts as you want/need (keep in mind that if you choose to go as few posts, you will eventually hit Serebii's character limit. Once you do you may make additional posts within your thread.
One of our wonderful members ChrisClark has made this Tool that one can use to input all of your member data and output copyable BB code that you can paste into either Serebii/UPN.
  • A Members Post must contain the following:
    • Basic Trainer Information (Name/Gender).
    • ALL Pokemon in your possession with proper stats, movepools, and all other necessary information.
    • An up-to-date Inventory with everything you have acquired in your travels throughout the roleplay.

  • There are a few other things that you may place in your Members Profile, but these are entirely optional:
    • Detailed Trainer Information (Any sort of bio or other info you would wish to include)
    • Pokemon Bios (Personality Info, Closest Teammates, Etc.)
    • A Birthday Calendar (This can also be recorded in your Visionary Glade should you choose to have a thread there, or not at all, entirely up to you)
It is also possible for you to have more than one trainer, meaning that you are able to have multiple Trainer/Pokemon Posts in your profile, but the necessary information stays the same. Additionally, you are allowed to have a Pokemon act as a Trainer Character. They will function as both one of your allotted Pokemon in your adventure, and the Trainer Character in the adventure! Furthermore, Trainers do not need to be entirely run-of-the-mill people. Other humanoids, and people with psychic, aura, or other powers, have been shown to exist within the Pokemon world!
  • The two most important things in your Members Profile are the Pokemon Information as well as your Inventory. Pokemon Information needs to bear the following:
    • Species (Can be replaced with your sprite/artwork)
    • Nickname (if you have chosen to give the Pokemon one)
    • Gender (If your Pokémon has one)
    • Level
    • Where/How the Pokemon was Obtained *
    • Ability
    • Current Movepool (Level-Up, Egg, Move Tutor, TM/TR) *
    • Boutique Modifications*
    * 1: Ex, Hatched, {You could link to the hatching pick up post!} or Traded {You could link to the trading post} OR Captured in a zone {optional linking to the post it was captured in}

    * 2: Please note that so long as it meets the level requirements a pokemon can know every move it could possibly have learned across any generation, Ontop of moves it would get from a previous evolution, an example of this will be shown below.

    * 3: Getting modifications is not mandatory but if you choose to get them it is mandatory to list them, this is not needed with non-official accessories from the Boutique
  • Optional Information on Pokemon Listings Include:
    • Flavour Text (aka Nature, Food Preferences, Attitudes)
    • Images (Sprite, Official Art, Card Art, Etc. It gives the profile a little more life with images.)
    • What Pokeball it is contained in
    • Biography
    • Contest Stats (as Contests are currently unused, this information isn't needed but it may be a good idea to document it)
    • What Type(s) the Pokemon is
    • Evolutionary Line(s)
    • Held Item (not absolutely needed in the profile, but if you are using one please include a mention of it in a Zone/Gym Post)
    • Synergy

An example is located in the spoiler below, now, let us also say that you chose Pichu (for our example) as your Starter Pokémon and managed to get it up to ten points of bond, evolving it into Pikachu:
Spoiler: show

Name: Bolt
Species: Pikachu
Gender: Male
Ability: Static
Level: 5
Obtained: Starter Pokemon

Moves: Thundershock, Growl, Thunder Wave, Tail Whip, Play Nice, Quick Attack, Double Kick, Sweet Kiss, Nuzzle, Nasty Plot, Charm, Double Team

Note that while Pichu would get; Thundershock, Growl, Thunder Wave, Tail Whip, Sweet Kiss, Charm, and Play Nice, Pikachu gains Quick Attack, Double Kick, Nuzzle, Nasty Plot, and Double team upon evolution and meeting the level requirements, and the best part is, Pikachu is able to use all of these moves without needing to forget any moves! Neat huh?!

On top of that Pikachu can learn Move Tutor moves, Egg Moves and Advanced Moves that it can get naturally, through the appropriate methods of course. Another sweet bonus is that Pikachu can also learn Unnatural moves ( moves It normally wouldn't get without our fancy-dancy Bond system {that, once again is getting fully explained further on} ) along with Custom Moves!
Now TM's/TR's/HM's( Or Machine Moves if you want to further simplify it) Move tutor moves, Egg moves, Advanced Moves, Custom Moves, and Unnatural Moves ( Abbreviated to, MT, EM, AM, CM, and UM respectively, Further Information can be found further down in this thread) would also fall under "Moves" and you can arrange your move set up like so:
Spoiler: show

Level Up:
TM's/TR's/HM's:
MT's:
EM's:
AM's:
CM's:
UM's:

Please note that this is an example and you're more than welcome to have these placeholders in place or not until you get moves that fall under those categories.

This example includes the needed information alongside the optional picture. However, you are free to customize your profile as much as your want with fonts, colors, etc. As long as it includes all the needed information about the Pokemon themselves.
  • The Inventory is pretty self-explanatory. You can list everything you've acquired, like so:
    Spoiler: show
    • x1 Pokedex
    • x1 Mega Ring
    • x1 Z-Ring
    • x1 Dynamax Band
    • x1 Fishing Rod
    • x1 Berry Bag
    • x1 Pokeblock Case
    • x5 Pokeballs
    • x5 Rare Candies
    • x1 TM Return

  • Or, you can organize it into sections like the games do:
    Spoiler: show
    Key Items
    • x1 Pokedex
    • x1 Mega Ring
    • x1 Z-Ring
    • x1 Dynamax Band
    • x1 Fishing Rod
    • x1 Pokeblock Case

    Pokeballs
    • x5 Pokeballs

    Berry Bag
    • currently empty

    Items
    • x5 Rare Candies

    TMs/TRs
    • x1 TM Return
So long as it is up to date, it is entirely up to you how you display it. You may also include sprites/pictures if you so desire.

Please note that while Linking to everything is no longer Mandatory within your Members profile, it might be a good idea to have links there Just in case you need them later on.

Currency

There are currently three types of currencies within FB.
  • Pokédollars are primarily obtained from making zone introductions and replies with word counts of 150, For each zone intro/reply that qualifies, you may claim $150, with an additional $50 that can be earned for every 50 words added on capping at $500 at the Credit Union. Pokédollars are the standard currency that can be used in trades and general shops for generic items.
  • Rare Candies have been a currency for a long time within FB and are used to level up Pokémon. All candies can be picked up from the Credit Union, and they can also be documented there, but that doesn't mean they cannot be earned through other means.
  • Fizzy Credits are earned by Zone Updaters and Shop Owners for their service. The method of earning them differs between areas but they are documented in the Staff Rewards thread.

Linking
The majority of statistics in FB such as levels and moves rely on the principle of honor and trust. However, a few specific accounts need to be kept track of and require a link for every deposit and withdrawal.
  • Pokédollars must be kept track of in the Pokébank.
  • Fizzy Credits must be kept track of in the Staff Rewards

Shops

FB Shops are mainly used to train your Pokémon, though they do offer other facilities.
Below are brief overviews of each shop, but please don't rely on these descriptions to base your knowledge. Each individual shop has a more detailed account of its purpose in its introductory post which is often more up-to-date than this thread. The below shop titles all provide direct links to their respective threads, so please be sure to read them. While not mandatory, we ask that those with exceptionally large signatures turn them off when posting in shop threads.
  • The Fizzytopian Credit Union - The Pokébank will keep your hard-earned cash and candy safe and secure until such time that you need it. All cash and candy transactions must be posted no matter what they're being used for along with an accompanying link and explanation as to how it is being used so your details may be updated correctly.
  • Department Store - Buy various things such as Potions, Pokéballs, and TMs, as well as the occasional evolution item. Rotom appliances, Cosplay Pikachu costumes, and Oricorio Nectar can be purchased or rented here as well. The items you can and cannot buy are listed in the first post of the shop.
  • Adoption Centre - Occasionally someone will catch a Pokémon they don't want, or need to part ways with an old friend. The Pokémon are dropped off at the Adoption Center and are removed from your party, where someone else can pick them up.
  • Daycare - Drop your Pokémon off during the (GMT) hours of a midnight Sunday night/Monday morning to midnight Friday night/Saturday morning and your Pokémon gains Four free levels the following Monday (alternatively you can drop off Four Pokemon at the same time. Each of these Pokemon will get a single level). Helps especially all those who have no damaging attacks in their early levels (such as Abra or Magikarp).
  • The Global Trade Station - This is where people can trade for Pokémon and other items. Find a person with something you want, or vice-versa, and you can set up a trade via PM/IM or through the White Market. Please read the GTS' introduction post for full details.
  • The Move Tutor - The Move Tutor helps a Pokémon learn Egg/MT/Advanced Moves.
  • Mew ŕ la Mode Boutique - A place to add that unique touch to your Pokémon. From recoloring to adding birthmarks, the Pokémon Boutique is the place to go. If your Pokémon just want to have a little fun, drop by and purchase some of our special clothing and costumes. Everyone loves a masquerade now and then - even your Pokémon!
  • The Hatchery - You may use the Fizzy Bubbles Hatchery to breed your Pokémon and/or hatch any eggs you may come across in your adventures. Designed expressly for the purpose of introducing a personal touch to a member's team, the Hatchery is the place to go for Pokémon bundles of joy.
  • The Calendar - You may pick up birthday presents for yourself and your Pokémon in the FB Calendar thread - pickup can be up to 72 hours past the GMT date in case you forget.
  • Realm of Shadows - Shadow Pokemon are rare to find naturally in the wild and it can take a long time for a trainer to find one, Here within the Realm of Shadows Trainers can offer a Silver Umbra, a special coin that can be used only in this shop for a chance to capture a Shadow Pokémon.

Zones

The adventures you will embark upon in Fizzy Bubbles will take place in special threads called zones, which cater to specific environments and are posted on the main page of the FB subforum. Zones are interactive stories between you and the person updating you - you might encounter puzzles, traps, or other predicaments invented by your updater; it's important to think creatively and respond to these situations the way you think your trainer character would! Remember, you can bring up to six total Pokemon to an adventure.

Sometimes, a battle can occur whenever you run into a Pokémon in a zone. Your Pokémon can use any move it has ever learned. It is not restricted to the 4 Moves as it is in the game. Whenever a Pokémon is KOed, the Pokémon that participated in the KO may gain levels at the updater's discretion. If there are multiple Pokémon battling against a single Pokémon, the level distribution will be decided by the updator and the updator alone. Their decisions are final.

If you wish to capture a Pokémon, you may capture it after it has been KOed or if the Pokemon becomes willing to be caught through the adventure's storyline. KOing a Pokémon will increase the likelihood of the capture. Various Pokéballs will also alter the chance of capturing it. Legendary Pokemon are available, but only explicitly through an earned Legendary Adventure Slot. Legends encountered outside of these adventures will be uncapturable, and primarily used as plot devices.

Zone Adventures can be done with or without a Trainer Character. You are able to send out Pokemon you have under a trainer to have their own adventures! Additionally, you can have Pokemon act as trainer characters. If you have multiple trainer characters, they may be able to adventure together as well. Of course, expect different scenarios and situations to come up compared to a more standard adventure!

Training Zones

Training Zones work differently than other Zones, in that they are meant for new or learning updators to learn how to properly run an adventure in Fizzy Bubbles. While they function the same as normal zones in terms of slots, they are meant to be geared toward those in that updating pool.

  • Training Zones are concurrently managed by all active Zone Administrators, so any questions regarding these Zones can be fielded to any of the following people:
    • Lil'twick
    • Prof.Enigma
    • Sneaze
  • The currently active Training Zones are as follows:

Free RP Areas

Free RP Areas are places for socialization among trainers and their Pokemon. Rules are relaxed here, and the primary focus is on cooperative storytelling. Pokemon and items WILL NOT be rewarded here - all RP here is strictly unofficial! ~ ( This only means that you cannot officially capture Pokemon, earn items or use up items through RP here. You can level up Pokémon here should you choose to by using rare candies but you would need to link to them, and remove the candies used from your balance )

Other Notable Areas
  • Visionary Glade - All registered members may have 1 Visionary Glade thread per Trainer Character. The Visionary Glade is for short stories, art, poetry, and other creative works related to your trainer and Pokemon - it is not intended for discussion or RP. Guidelines can be found here.
  • Hall of Records - Old threads are archived here. Please do not post new threads in the Hall of Records, as this area is intended for thread storage rather than active posting.
  • Shrine of the Third Eye: The Wishlist Thread - PLEASE NOTE that it is considered extremely bad form to beg or hint to your updater that you want a certain Pokemon or item in zones and adventures. However, this doesn't mean that you can't make your wishes known - this is why we have the Wishlist Thread. Updaters may use your Wishlist as inspiration, but they are not forced to give you want; in FB, as in life, the journey is more important than the destination, so have fun with your adventures and gracefully accept whatever comes. You may realize that the Pokemon your updater has in store for you has a treasured place on your team after all!
  • The Time Out Thread: Have we mentioned that time is whack? - This is essentially the main out-of-character (OOC) chat thread, for members to socialize with one another and talk about whatever's on their minds. Discussion is more or less unrestricted here, as long as people are respectful of others and follow UPN's general rules of conduct.
  • The Development Subforum - Have an idea regarding FB that you'd like to propose? Want to weigh in on the latest in FB's development? Whether you joined FB ten years ago or ten minutes ago, your thoughts and opinions are welcome!
  • The Reset Documentation Thread - If you are considering resetting your profile this is where you go. This thread can also be used to devolve Pokemon and decrease a Pokemon's level. Be sure to read the reset guidelines!

Moves

In Fizzy Bubbles, Pokemon are not limited to four moves. A Pokemon has access to their entire natural move pool, and it is possible for them to learn moves unnaturally as well. Here are a few examples of how Pokemon may learn attacks naturally or unnaturally, and potential restrictions:
  • Level-Up Moves, or Standard Moves; Pokemon may learn level-up moves at the lowest possible level that their current evolutionary stage can learn in any of the main generational Pokedexes (Gens. 1 through 8 & LGPE). If an un-evolved Pokemon learns an attack that an evolved form does not, the evolved form may learn the attack at the un-evolved form’s lowest possible level. Un-evolved Pokemon cannot learn level-up moves that are exclusive to their evolved forms.
  • The Move Relearner, at the Move Tutor, you can teach your Pokémon level-up moves higher than its current level.
  • Natural TM Moves may be taught in any thread, as long as a link to where they were acquired is given. (All TMs are single-use only). The Record-Keeping Thread is a good place to do so, but not required.
  • Unnatural TM moves and Unnatural MT moves may be taught to Pokémon and follow the rules of Natural TMs and MTs (All TMs are single-use only).
  • Move Tutor and Egg Moves may be taught at the Move Tutor at a cost. MTs from any game may be taught including Colosseum and XD.
  • Advanced Moves Certain Advanced Moves can be taught Naturally to certain Pokémon through the Move Tutor Shop, But they also can be taught Unnaturally following the MT' Shops Rules
  • Custom Moves Pokémon may be taught Special Custom Moves through the use of Special Custom Items, For more info please refer to this post within this thread
  • Shadow Moves - Shadow Pokémon may know two Shadow moves upon capturing and a new Shadow move at every tenth level. In addition, regular Pokémon may be taught a Shadow Move Via the Move Tutor Shop, There is no longer a Bond Requirement to do so.
  • Extra Moves- Official Pokemon Moves that are not available as TM or MT Moves that have been made teachable through specific items.
  • Zone Move Tutors - certain zones may have their own unique move tutors, certain moves can be taught at these with a Zone Administrator’s authorization.

Synergy
Synergy is a system that shows the in-battle synergy with trainers. This optional system allows you to determine the power of Return and Frustration in battle, as well as pick up some additional moves. If you choose to opt out of this system, Return and Frustration will be up to updater's discretion.

Conversions:
1 Happiness point = 3 Bond Points
1 Bond Point = 1 Synergy Point
1 IQ point = 1 Bond Point
Pokemon with 30 or more Bond or IQ are considered to have max Synergy.

Gaining Synergy
  • +1 per post in an Adventure
  • +1 additional per post in an Adventure for Pokemon stored inside of a Luxury Ball, Agate Ball, or holding a Soothe Bell
  • +10 for Pokemon stored inside of a Friend Ball

Bonuses:
0: Your Pokemon is neutral toward you. Frustration is at its maximum power.

15: The Pokemon can learn an EM/MT move of choice.

30: MAXIMUM. Pokemon one Advanced/Shadow move* AND one EM/MT move. Return is at maximum power.

Shadow Pokémon

Moves, Battling, & Evolution:
  • Shadow Pokémon at Lv. 01 know two (2) Shadow-type moves of the player's choice.
  • Shadow Pokémon learn a new Shadow-type move of the player's choice at Lv. 10, and at every subsequent tenth level.
  • Shadow Pokémon have access to the normal movepool of their species, including EMs, MTs, TMs, and HMs.
  • Shadow Pokémon are known to disobey during battle. This is at the discretion of the updator.
  • Shadow Pokémon resist Shadow-type moves.
  • Shadow Pokémon receive 1.25x final damage after weaknesses & resistances. Shadow-type moves do 1.5x damage to all non-Shadow types.
  • Shadow Pokémon enter Fever at 50% HP or below.
  • Shadow Pokémon can evolve if evolutionary requirements are met.

Items & Shops:
  • Shadow Pokémon can be housed in any type of Poké Ball.
  • Shadow Pokémon can hold and use held items.
  • Shadow Pokémon can be dropped off in shops.
  • Shadow Pokémon can earn bond and bond bonuses.
  • Shadow Pokémon can breed. Shadow-ness is non-heritable.

Availability:
  • Shadow Pokémon can be encountered and obtained in zones.
  • Shadow Pokémon can be encountered and obtained in the Realm of Shadows If a Silver Umbra is offered up.
  • Shadow Pokémon cannot hatch from normal eggs.

Fever:
  • Volatile status condition; can co-occur with other status conditions.
  • Pokémon under Fever have boosted Attack and Special Attack, but reduced Defense and Special Defense.
  • Pokémon under Fever are more likely to disobey.
  • Fever can be remedied by calling out to the affected Pokémon.

Calling Out:
  • The act of talking down a frenzied Pokémon.
  • Calling out to a Pokémon remedies it of Fever.
  • Players cannot use items or issue commands in the same reply as calling out to a Pokémon.

Cʟᴀʀɪᴛʏ:
Clarity is the new mechanic by which normal Pokémon turn into Shadow Pokémon, and by which, Shadow Pokémon can be purified. It replaces the negative bond system and is one of two means of entry into the Realm of Shadows. It is completely player-tracked, although redemption of clarity must be approved by a ZA or ZU prior to adventuring.

General:
* Clarity operates on a scale of 00 to 20.
* Shadow Pokémon start with 00 clarity. All other Pokémon start with 20 clarity.
* Shadow Pokémon are purifiable when they reach 20 clarity.
* Non-shadow Pokémon are shadowfiable when they reach 00 clarity.
* Clarity, like bond, is optional. You may choose to claim positive clarity, negative clarity, both, or neither.

Gaining & Losing:

Gaining Clarity:
  • 01 for participating in a non-Shadow subzone RP post.
  • 01 for one week spent in a shop.
  • 02 for participating in a Shadow subzone RP post.
  • 03 for winning a zone battle.
  • 05 for being called out to.

Loosing Clarity
  • 02 for participating in a Shadow subzone RP post.
  • 03 for initiating Fever.
  • 10 for being housed in a Shadow Ball.

Converting from Bond:

Under the old system, Shadow Pokémon had a negative bond value between -20 and -01. To convert to the new system, take the value of the negative bond and subtract it from 30. The resulting value is your Pokémon's new clarity value. e.g. if your Pokémon's previous bond value was -05, subtract 05 from 30. (30 - 05 = 25.) Your Pokémon's new clarity value would be 25.

* When converting from bond, you must provide a link to the most recent bond post for the Pokémon in question.

Redeeming:

When a Shadow Pokémon accumulates 20 clarity, or when the clarity of any other Pokémon reaches 00, the extreme bond value may be confirmed within the Realm of Shadows Shop Thread, and the Pokémon may be Shadowfied or Purified.

* Clarity cannot be redeemed if gains or losses cannot be confirmed.

This is the new and updated thread that covers the General Rules and Guidelines for the Fizzy Bubbles RPG! For more specific questions you can get some answers in the Q/A Thread on FB FAQ on the main page of the subforum - if you don't see an answer to your question here, feel free to ask in that thread!

Legendary Pokemon

Legendary Pokemon are something that are allowed in Fizzy Bubbles but are considered to be playtest content. That means things may be subject to change down the line, but for now here are the current rules and information about Legendary Pokemon.

Currently, Members may own Three Legendary Pokemon per account. This is an aaccount-widething, not a trainer-character-specific thing. That means that even if you have more than three trainer characters, you can only own three Legendaries at a time. This is further broken down into a slot-based system. Thus a trainer may only own one Sub-Legendary Pokemon, Legendary Pokemon, and Mythical Pokemon as of this time. Additionally, there is no limit on how many of a specific one of these Pokemon are in the game. Here are the lists, if you are curious:

Sub-Legendary Pokemon:
  • Articuno
  • Zapdos
  • Moltres
  • Entei
  • Raikou
  • Suicune
  • Regirock
  • Regice

  • Enamorus
  • Ting-Lu
  • Chien-Pao
  • Wo-Chein

How do I obtain a Legendary?

Simple, adventure and update! At the end of every month, the ZAs will tally all updates and replies from the period and post it along with the Bi-Monthly Updater Rewards. Each Adventure post of 150 Words or more will gain you one point. Each update of 200 words or more will gain you two points. Once you gain thirty points, you’ll gain a Legendary Adventure Slot! You may use a Legendary Adventure Slot as an additional, earned fourth adventure. If you have additional LAS and normal adventure slots, you can turn one of those into a LAS as well! To claim it, just link to the bi-monthly post. You may also self tally, and if you reach thirty beforehand, just link all qualifying posts in a post in the Bi-Monthly thread for Mod Approval.

Do I need to do any other prerequisites to obtain a Legendary or its Formes?

No! For example, you do not need to own a Reshiram or Zekrom to obtain Kyurem-White or Kyurem-Black. All Legendary Forme changing items are available in the Department Store, and you can use them like any other form-changing item. You do not also need all of the other Regis to obtain Regigigas, for example.

What about Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokemon?

Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokemon are considered to be their own special groupings instead of being in the Legendary Catagory. Those two groupings, along with Phione, may be obtained through Enigma Eggs, Birthday Eggs, and via Zone Adventures! As of this time, these Pokemon (sans Phione) can’t breed.

Can I breed or trade my Legendaries?

No! With the exception of Manaphy, who you can breed to obtain Phione, you may not breed or trade your legendaries. Of course, you may use your legendaries in all other shops and in all Role Play areas!

I want to be the only one with X Legend or “Canon says only one of these exist!” Why are you allowing multiple?

Hoopa. Besides that, we want to make sure the game is fun for all people! If multiple people want to own a specific legend, then they can! If you really want an explanation: Hoopa.

What about their canon abilities?

In zones, all Legendary Pokemon will be considered the same as other Pokemon. We don’t allow Gardevoirs to create Black Holes, for example. A Celebi won’t time travel just to redo a mistake for you, stuff like that. If the updater sees a way to use their abilities, they may do so, but you can’t order it on demand. With Free RP, we’ll be careful to monitor it, but please try to keep it to your Visionary Glade if possible.

I read through this! Do I get a cookie?

Yes for being a good reader you may have a cookie.
