Jellicent UPN PASBL: Kots V Vulcrys

Kingothestone (c) vs Vulcrys (a)
3v3
Doubles
Equiall 1
Slapstick
Switch=KO
48 hour DQ
Pool [with Pontoons]: [Indoors] One of the more simplistic battling arenas. The primary focus of this arena is the large pool situated at the center. The pool is comfortably wide, unable to be crossed within a round. Likewise, the pool has a fairly deep base, able to accommodate even the largest of Pokemon, although their movements will be restricted somewhat. The water is clear and has a high degree of visibility, meaning Pokemon situated within the water can be easily located and targeted from outside. The outside of the pool itself is simple terrain, open to standard manipulation. Optionally battlers can include pontoons within the water, which will float on the surface and provide a fairly sturdy foothold for the majority of Pokemon, within reason.

the return of the legendary Vulcrys lets see how he handles this!

Theia - Level 2 (Uplevel) Female Lapras
Triton - Level 1 Male Carvanha
Yoda - Level 1 Male Sneasel
Aeolus - Level 1 Male Aerodactyl

Level 1 Female Togepi
Togepi (Fairy): Togepi have shells which provide a slightly higher defense where it covers. Togepi can levitate, though not fast or well. All baby Pokémon's techniques that are based on cuteness (such as Charm, Attract, Sweet Kiss, etc) are slightly more effective.
[Fairy]: Fairy-types are generally pure hearted and gregarious. They prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically in them, but they will not be off put by urban environments. Any attack used by a Fairy-type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied Pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. They are immune to the damaging effects of Dragon-typed energy.
Hidden Power: None

Level 1 Male Chespin
Chespin (Grass): Chespin's heads are covered in a firm but flexible layer of woody material, giving them a slight boost to defense for attacks that hit their head. They also can harden their head temporarily to give a slight boost to headbutting moves. They have two vines hidden on their heads that they can extend to use to manipulate objects and Pokémon and attack. As starter Pokémon, their Grass-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they drop below 1/3 health.
[Grass]: Grass-type Pokémon live anywhere that can support vegetation and are adept at concealing themselves in such places. They enjoy both bright sun and rain and fight more enthusiastically in the day time, though they are not put off by fighting at night. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls, while very bright sunlight will regenerate their energy instead. Their healing moves cost slightly less energy and their draining moves will heal them by a greater amount while suffering only half of the usual diminishing returns. They are immune to spore based techniques like Sleep Powder and are more adept at using such attacks themselves, creating denser concentrations of spores which are harder to disperse and more potent in their effects. Any attack used by Grass-types manipulating the environment is slightly more potent, and their Grass-type attacks which utilise plant foliage (such as Razor Leaf) are more efficient in natural environments.
Hidden Power: None

Level 1 Male Geodude Alola
Geodude [Alola] (Rock/Electric): Alolan Geodude have developed an intense magnetic field, which will slightly slow all Steel type Pokemon in the arena. Geodude have the greatest variety of locomotion options amongst the Geodude family. They are capable of rolling, walking on their hands, or levitating, though they cannot hover very high and move quite slowly in this way. Geodude can see in the dark. Their Defense Curl will give them much more protection than most Pokémon. Geodude may disguise themselves as a normal boulder by rolling up, an effective hiding method against many Pokémon. In addition, when performing XX or NO moves, they may choose to cloak them in an aura of Electric energy, causing them to become Electric typed.
[Rock]: Rock-type Pokémon generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to physical hits and projectiles. They are also resistant to XX attacks. This defensive ability extends to their moves, making defensive attacks like Protect and Harden cost less energy. They are difficult to burn or poison and prefer hot environments to cold ones. Most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible. They are adept at controlling rocks and will use less energy than other Pokémon when using Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock etc. to manipulate the arena.
[Electric]: Electric types are resistant to paralysis inflicted by Electric-type moves, though they may be paralysed as normal by other methods. Electric types do not suffer from recoil damage when using Electric attacks in the water. They have a high degree of control over their Electric type attacks, and as such they will suffer less from attempts to redirect them.
Hidden Power: None

Level 1 Male Meowth Alola
Meowth [Alola] (Dark): Alolan Meowth are incredibly prideful, and will fall under the influence of rage inducing moves much easier. However, they are also much more crafty than their wild counterparts, and their deception and trickery techniques will be more potent as a consequence. Meowth can see in the dark, and are well adapted to moving silently so that no one can hear them move. They are able climbers and have excellent poise and balance. As a cat, they will usually land on their feet, and can slip through gaps that might seem too thin at first glance with little drop in speed. A Meowth's Payday attack produces more coins and does more damage than normal.
[Dark]: Dark-types can see in the dark. They fight more enthusiastically at night and are more effective at hiding in dark environments than other Pokémon, though light does not adversely affect them. Their Dark type attacks will also become much more intimidating during the night, giving them a small additional chance to flinch. They are immune to the damaging effects of Psychic-type energy but may still be lifted and manipulated by telekinesis. They are slightly better at tricking opponents than other Pokémon, allowing them to plant more potent curses and to use moves like Feint Attack to greater effect.
Hidden Power: None

Level 1 Male Turtonator
Turtonator (Fire/Dragon): Turtonator's shell is made from highly volatile substances. If it is struck directly with an attack, it will cause a small explosion, dealing minor recoil to the foe and blowing them back with decent force. It also provides protection against physical attacks, lowering them by 20%. However, physical attacks that hit its vulnerable underside will deal 10% extra damage.
[Fire]: Fire-types fight most enthusiastically in hot and dry conditions. They are extremely difficult to burn and most can survive in hot liquids/molten lava for an extended period of time. Fire-type Pokémon are not adversely affected by taking dips in bodies of water, so long as the time is short. Their Fire type moves will be hotter than normal, allowing them to inflict more potent burns with a greater frequency, and their Fire type moves will naturally have a somewhat wider spread without a loss in power.
[Dragon]: Dragon-types tend to be strong swimmers and fliers, though they are not always as agile as other Pokémon. They fight more enthusiastically in warm climates but are less enthusiastic in colder ones. They radiate warmth from their core, and are slightly more resistant to chilling effects than other Pokémon. They are naturally very powerful Pokémon and their Dragon type attacks will have a stronger knockback than normal, but will deal no extra damage because of this.
Hidden Power: Water

Level 1 Male Mudbray
Mudbray (Ground): As a pack animal, Mudbray is deceptively strong, in spite of its small frame. It can bear significant weight and is surefooted, making it hard to knock over or crush. Their hoof based moves deal 10% more damage. It can also hold and push up to three times its weight.
[Ground]: Ground-type Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 0.75x the usual damage from Electric-type attacks, and will take neutral damage from Electric when wet. Ground types do not suffer from recoil damage when using Electric attacks in the water. Ground-type Pokémon are more adept at manipulating outdoor and 'natural' environments than other Pokémon and will spend less energy using Dig, Earthquake etc. This allows them to use Ground attacks on any surface, with the exception of Dig. They can also cause the ground to shake more vigorously when using Earthquake and Bulldoze.
Hidden Power: Grass

Geodude and Togepi, both outside the pool.

Theia and Aeolus Triton and Aion, lock and load. Aion on a pontoon near the pool's edge, Triton in the water in front of him.

Triton, kick things off with a surf wave, splashing them both but not riding it, instead staying below the water's surface. Try to keep the focus on Geodude. Aion, follow up with an aurora veil as you hop across the pontoons and close the gap with your foes. As Triton strikes Geodude with a water pulse before submerging again, Aion, get in Togepi's face with a gyro ball, trying to push her into the water if you can manage.

>bringing a steel vs Alolan Geodude

Togepi, Flamethrower Sandshrew twice.

Geodude, also Flamethrower Sandshrew twice. Should it faint before using the second however, send a Thunderbolt after Carvanha instead of the second flamethrower.

Round 1: KO ends rounds in Doubles.

The two old friends walk into the pool. Their referee awaits them within the arena the two exchange pleasantries and send their pokemon out to battle.

For timesake just check the Sc's yourself

Vulcrys sends out Togepi and Alolan Geodude. While Kots sends out Triton and Aion a Carvanagh and Sandshrew of Alola respectively.

The four pokemon appear with flashes of light. Triton in the pool infront of a pontoon with Aion on the Pontoon behind him. Togepi and Geodude appear on the pool deck itself.

Triton makes the first move summoning a surf wave it washes over both of his foes causing a very large chunk of damage to Geodude and a strong hit to Togepi. As Triton does so Aion creates an Aurora Veil around himself as he jumps from his platform onto the pool deck right in front of his foes.

Togepi and Geodude smile as their foe lands in front of them on the pool deck both pokemon open their mouths revealing a mouth full of flames within each of their mouths, they release the flames in a flamethrower motion causing Aion to scream bloody murder as he is burned by the flames.

Triton looks in horror as his partner is brutally attacked by his foes he swims under the water towards the deck popping his head out in order to send a pulse of water at Geodude whom takes the hit crying out in pain from the attack but nothing he wont be able to handle. Triton submerges once again below the water in the pool.

Aion looks at his foes and gathers steel energy spinning like a top he moves forwards and collides with Togepi causing a large chunk of damage to the fairy pokemon but not putting her down. As he stops spinning Aion looks over at his foes seening Togepi open her mouth and he is once again bathed in flames. Geodude looks at his foe and realises he isnt down yet he opens his mouth and spits out more flames. Aion turns to look and all of his world explodes in flames.

Aion is unable to battle. Final pokemon from Kotsy

Summary:
Triton took no damage, Geodude into the second Togepi took a hit but is in the first. Both of crys' mons are out of fire energy. All good for two

Round 2: In Crys fashion - ALOLAN SNACKBAR!!!!

Recalling Aion Kots sends out his final pokemon Yoda the Sneasel, im sorry crys you've got to do something epic to take down the Jedi Grandmaster.

Yoda appears with a flash of light on the pool deck facing his foes. The green sneasel looks upon his foes. He coats his claws in steel and rushes at Togepi clawing at Togepi dealing a large chunk of super effective damage to the small Fairy typed pokemon. Togepi cries out in pain as she backs away from the Small sneasel. Meanwhile Triton resurfaces and takes aim upon Geodude and fires off a massive amount of water which Geodude simply protects himself from the attack causing it to do nothing to the Rock pokemon.

Togepi walks to the edge of the pool and sends a shock wave into it the electricity collides with Triton whom takes the hit before resurfacing and once again taking aim upon Geodude, The two lock eyes, Triton sends a hydro pump at the Rock while it responds by sending a thunderbolt through the water at Triton the two attacks collide for an immensely powerful attack dealing damage to both.

Meanwhile Yoda is not done with Togepi, gathering darkness around him he channels the force crafting a dark pulse before sending it at Togepi whom takes the hit as she watches Geodude in anticipation.

Geodude hops over to the edge of the pool. And jumps into the pool as he gathers energy. He glows as he sinks grapling Triton as he does so. Pulling the fish down to the bottom of the pool, where he unleashes his energy in an explosion causing the water to erupt from the pool washing over everything as a massive crater emerges in the bottom. Togepi doesnt have to protect herself due to the distance between her and Geodude, but it is clear that the pools water level has dropped considerably and that the pool deck is no longer dry.

As the referee looks over the edge it is clear that Triton will not be fighting any longer.

Triton is unable to battle!

Geodude looks up at his master below the water.

Summary:
Geodude is basically gonna faint to any reasonable attack. He is exhausted. Yoda went unharmed. Togepi is into the second third. Yoda and Togepi are good for two

Round 3: The theme continues

Kots recalls Triton but having no pokemon to replace he knows he has himself backed into a corner.

Geodude is stuck on the bottom of the pool, quite tired he starts to move around so he can take aim upon his foe. On the Deck Togepi looks upon Yoda gathering bright fairy energy and fires it upon the green jedi, however Yoda coats his claws in metal and runs through the gleam and claws at Togepi dealing a large chunk of super effective damage to her pushing her closer to the edge of the pool.

Geodude sees movement up above, very uncomfortable in the water he gathers electricity into his tired body sending it in a shock wave however his exhaustion and location cause the attack to strike the edge of the pool instead of any other pokemon.

Togepi looks at Yoda and sends dazzling gleam at him as she walks more into the center of the pool deck. Yoda once again takes the hit with grace before slaming his foe with a poison jab to the gut, Togepi feels poisoned following the attack. Seeing his foes discomfort Yoda follows up with another jab of toxins to the chest of Togepi. Togepi cringes from the toxins putting her down for the count.

Togepi is unable to battle!

Summary:
Geodude wouldnt mind another 1 mover, Yoda took some strong hits and is into the second third, yoda can manage 2

Back up a few steps to the edge of the dock/pontoon, then use a quick burst of agility to dodge the slam at the last second. If we're lucky he'll end up in the water. Should that happen, use surf to put geodude down for the count and deal some damage to the Mudbray while you're at it. If he doesn't end up in the water, foul play to deal with the double kick.

Round 4: Aw the classic dodge into danger move

Recalling Togepi Crys sends out Mater the Mudbray.

Mater appears with a flash his foe between him and the pool. He decides to slam into his foe rushing forwards coating himself in steel energy he runs at Yoda whom uses some of his Jedi!Agility to evade the move sadly Mater cannot stop himself causing him to fall straight into the pool missing his foe entirely the great horse trying to swim in the pool. Yoda smirks as his foe is now trapped in the pool due to the lower level, his best hope getting to a pontoon.

Under the water Geodude tries to get up noticing a ladder he begins to use his arms to climb up to get higher. Yoda sees his foes he lets out a chuckle and summons a surf wave which washes Geodude up to the top damaging him and a small amount strikes Mater.

Geodude is unable to battle

Mater cannot reach his foe to use double kick

summary:

Yoda took no damage. Mater took a small hit, he is still in the pool

Horse in the water? That calls for an ice beam. You know what, make it two. If they somehow manage to get out of the water and come in for a physical move, put a stop to it with a foul play

Sink under the pool immediately whilst you QC Substitute. Afterwards, quickly create a Double Team inside the pool, allowing you and your double to resurface after the second Ice Beam.

Round 5: Survival Instinct

Mater listens to his master whom tells him to ESSENTIALLY DROWN HIMSELF. As a result he wont be listening to his foe until he gets himself out of the pool. Yoda on the other hand laughs at his foe. He gathers ice energy and fires off an ice beam striking the soaking wet horse dealing a large chunk of super effective damage to him as he exhausts himself trying to get out of the pool, he makes it fairly close to the platform when Yoda sends a second ice beam at him this time causing some localised freezing to his back as he gets his hooves up onto the pontoon and he forces himself up out of the water however he is panting profusely and doesnt have time to use his attacks.

Summary:
Mater took a ton of damage and now sits just above the midpoint. He is exhausted. Yoda needs a breather.
