Alright. Newcomer Sav is taking on old timer Slash in what I presume is a leveller. Our arena will be the Rock Arena because I'm not imaginative. Hopefully this'll be a fun match Sav can learn from.

Squads away!

Dewott

Wotterlily: Oshawott Lv 1 (M) (purple scalchops and armour)
Hidden Power Ground
Sig: Special Training/Type Change: The Sacrifice
Woterlily is now a Water/Grass type. His scalchops/blades, horn, and armour are made of a special hard purple wood, but are no less sturdy than normal. He can now use Leaf Blade, Grass Pledge, Giga Drain, Sweet Scent, and Horn Leech. He can charge Grass energy into his Secret Power, Hyper Beam, and Trump Card, making them take on the Grass typing instead of their native typing. However, he loses access to Superpower, Air Slash, Water Gun, Megahorn, Blizzard, Dragon Tail, and Surf. The hard metal of the Steel type rivals the toughness of his own weaponry, so he no longer resists Steel, taking neutral damage from the type.

Mawile Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Ground
Sig: Special Training: Terra Orb
Mawile can form good typeless energy into the solid construct of a brown, spiky orb. This orb carries an empathic bond with him, and will usually hover around within 6 feet of him, but he can control its movements at will with little focus. He has a mental link with the orb, similar to a Substitute, and thus can use its sensory abilities to target foes it can "sense" but he cannot see. However, as there's no way for eye contact, things like Leer, Confuse Ray, and Hypnosis, when used on the orb, will not affect him unless he is hit as well. If ordered, he can use this orb to perform Rock, Steel, and Ground moves. Calling upon its earthy power, it can generate its own earth, and thus moves that generally require a certain earthy terrain, such as Rock Slide, can be used as though the terrain were present. This same power allows him to fire off Mud-Slap and Sandstorm with the orb, with it able to generate the mud or sand needed. He also gains access to Sand Attack (with the same generation abilities as Mud-Slap), Earthquake, and Metal Claw. However, he loses access to Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Misty Terrain, Icy Wind, and Pain Split.

Korra: Smeargle Lv 1 (F)
Sketched moves (18/22): Roost, Hyper Beam, Focus Energy, Explosion, Confide, Safeguard, Tri Attack, Secret Power, Bide, Baton Pass, Barrier, Psychic, Spite, Focus Blast, Dynamic Punch, Memento, Giga Drain, Struggle Bug
Earth (4/5): Earthquake, Rock Tomb, Ancient Power, Stone Edge
Fire (5/5): Flamethrower, Sacred Fire, Lava Plume, Eruption, Magma Storm
Water (4/5): Bubble Beam, Avalanche, Water Shuriken, Freeze-Dry
Air (5/5): Aeroblast, Twister, Sky Attack, Defog, Chatter
Special Training: Avatar State
Korra may Sketch 5 extra moves of each of these four categories: Flying, Fire, Water/Ice, Ground/Rock. She also gains use of a Hidden Power of each of the specified types. She can use her moves as though she carried those types, such as using Freeze-Dry as though she were an Ice-type, using the remote forms of Rock moves that Rock-types can use, using Roost as a Flying-type can etc. This does not mean she has unlimited STAB with such moves, however, her type energies still being granted by the number of moves of each type, although she does carry some extra energy of these types.

Magikarp Lv 1 (M)

Delibird Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Rock
Attached: Birdkeeper's Token
Sig: Special Technique: (Type) Gift
Delibird may use a variant of Present, which, instead of standard typing, may by charged with any type he has access to, such as "Ice Gift". This functions as Present, only affected by type modifiers of the type selected (as a variant of Present, he can manipulate the power and function just like he can with Present). The healing Present variation also works on this variation, with standard SE scales, healing more health on a Pokemon that is "weak" to the typing (so, Ice Gift would heal a Dragon-type more than a Fire-type). He can only use this technique in an off-type variation four times total per match. He can use the healing Present form on himself, and it will not count as a healing move the first use, but a second use will be considered such. He can make the energy take on a fitting colour, and explode in a shower of fireworks, although this won't really affect any standard battle in normal conditions. His control over the power and effects of this move are the same as his over Present

Gaara: Hippopotas Lv 1 (M)

Come on out, Korra!

Saphira, lock and load. It's time for your debut!

Start off strong with an Ancient Power, then use Toxic.

Iron Tail. Cut through some of the Ancient Power to strike and lower its force. Follow with a Giga Drain

Sorry for the wait, TA and all that.

So, Carbink vs Smeargle. Fun. Saphira, the Carbink, kicks things off with an Ancient Power, which Korra meets head on with an Iron Tail. The rock energy hurts Korra, but not as much as the Steel tail of death hurts poor Carbink, who shrieks in pain from the blow. Carbink was so hurt by it that she vomited, poor thing. Oh wait, nevermind, that vomit is Toxic goop, which has set into Korra. That'll start hurting later. Yknow what hurts right now, though? Super Effective Giga Drain. That's exactly what Saphira gets in return, and you better believe she's not feeling to chipper after a round like this.

Saphira is far worse off in both health and energy, though Korra is poisoned. Saphira might like a break but can manage two, while Korra's feeling great. Poison at half for Saphira, Grass at half for Korra, Steel can fuel another Iron Tail or so

Man I have been on TA for so long I am literally the worst

Saphira kicks off the round by erecting a pane of pinkish energy to block special attacks lightning-quick. Quicker even than Korra, who darts forward to whisper a secret to Saphira, whom has such pity for Korra's embarrassing plight that her special attack falls. That doesn't matter, however, when she uses Stone Edge- a decidedly physical attack. The stones rail Korra, and the Smeargle gives a little yelp of pain, before retaliating with the hidden powers of the sea. The attack, while it would sting a whole lot normally, doesn't do much other than leave a crack in the Light Screen Saphira made earlier.

Damage to Korra sees Saphira close the health gap somewhat, though everyone remains in their first third. Saphira has psychic energy enough for another screen, while Korra has plenty of Water to work with. Saphira most definitely wants a break, though.

Spite the screen. Then Dynamic Punch to blow out the tomb's front. Try to punch it right in the direction of Carbink so the shrapnel will take care of that pesky screen.

Man I am just the worst

Korra kicks off the round with a curse of sorts to deplete Saphira's last vestiges of psychic offtype. Saphira, looking very fatigued, pumps rock energy into the ground, making a tomb surround her Smeargle adversary. While Saphira catches her breath, Korra punches out a hole in the rock tomb, causing a small explosion. Korra is thrown against the back wall of the tomb while the front wall explodes outward, though the only pieces that get far enough to hit Saphira's screen are far too small to break it. Korra gets back to her feet, ready for more, as Saphira manages to catch her breath, if for a moment.

No damage to either side, Korra's fighting and ghost energy levels are both at half while the Carbink's Psychic is toast. Both are good for two though Korra might not want to keep this pace up forever and Saphira might need another break sooner than usual thanks to Spite.

Meet your opponent's water projectiles with a Stone Edge, then pour on the offensive by following up with a Moonblast.

Round 4: New ref, old orders.

As the Snorlax wanders off to do RL stuff, a boy and his Zubat arrive. Surveying the arena, they quickly take stock of what the hell's going on, before signalling for the all-clear to continue what must surely be a nice, simple match.... Yeah no that's not happening, I've fought both of these people. Just lucky Slash didn't bring a Yamask, eh?

And on the ref's mark, the Smeargle summons a batch of five Water Shurikens, the ninja throwing stars intending to rip that Light Screen apart! Saphira wants that screen intact though. Well, as intact as it's going to get. Summoning some more sharp-edged rocks, she fires the Stone Edge into the projectiles, the stones canceling most of the shurikens! One manages to slip past the rocks though, slamming into the already-weakened Light Screen and shattering it into a thousand pieces! And now that Carbink's pissed. I thought fairies were supposed to be friendly? Anyway, the pixie calls upon the power of the moon, summoning its mystical energies into a single ball of lunar energy, before firing the Moonblast at Korra, who attempts to dodge the incoming blow, but still takes a hefty whack to the left side of her body. Looking around, she seems to have been caught off-guard by the strike, her Special Attack having been lowered as a side-effect!

Summary
Saphira takes the lead in health, with both in the first third still, although she's still massively behind in terms of energy. Light Screen's gone, Korra's got a drop to her Special Attack, and is good for two, while Saphira could really use a break.

Round 5: You Stay, I Go.

After the success of last time, Saphira decides for a repeat assault, summoning lunar energies before firing a vicious Moonblast at the Smeargle, who tries to dodge again, but trips on part of the remainders of the Rock Tomb and consequently gets hit in the head. No dice on a second stat drop though. Meanwhile, Korra gets up from the fall and the hit, and gives Saphira a real Mean Look. No switching for her. unfortunately, it doesn't affect the whole arena, and so Korra can still switch. Which she does, Passing the Baton to Wotterlily the Water/Grass type.

Summary
Saphira is refreshed and took no damage, but can't switch, while Wotterlily is fresh out. Korra's into her second third of health, and is resting in her Pokeball. Saphira's SpAtk drop has worn off, while Wotterlily inherited Korra's. Saphira's into her final third of energy.
