Round 21: Yes.

Malefica is feeling pretty confident as the round starts, and maybe its because of me playing Kingdom Hearts and HDN that I wonder if that confidence is maybe going to turn her into a twisted, evil dragon. Not sure, but would be a cool sig. *dragged away*. Anyways, she takes in a deep breath, stretching her diaphragm to the limit as she looks to let out a massive scream to her opponent. Pushpa doesn't like the sound of this, however, and begins to concentrate energy inside of himself, this energy going into a defensive technique that has remained pretty damn good since the beginning of ASB. Malefica, not realizing the potential issue here, lets out of a loud scream at her opponent. However, the scream is only a method of travel, and the true damage is coming from the rings of energy traveling out of Malefica's mouth and over towards Pushpa. They come close to hitting him...but then strike against a translucent, gold pane of energy that he had erected in front of him to protect him from special attacks. It takes the Hyper Voice pretty effortlessly, only a slight crack showing on the surface of the screen as Malefica irritatingly looks on. I also don't know if Pushpa is male or not so.

Malefica, not one to be deterred by an opponent's shields, decides that she is just going to brute force the attack into breaking. Gathering electric energy into her gem, it shines a brilliant yellow light as she grins at her opponent, who is going to get quite a shocker from Malefica. The energy is released all at once from the gem in the form of three large bolts of lightning, and they quickly close the gap between Malefica and the screen. Two of the bolts hit the screen and disappear, but the second bolt seems to have had the last laugh: it causes the screen to crack and shatter instantly, having taken took much abuse to continue doing its duty. That means the rest of the attack is free to continue zapping its opponent, and the electricity gives Pushpa a nice little jolt, who is surprised that the attack still managed to do that much damage to him. However, its not much in the scheme of things and Pushpa knows it, as he releases green tendrils of energy that wrap around Malefica. Defenseless, she feels energy being robbed from her and going into Pushpa, as the highlight of the Grass movepool is being showcased: Giga Drain. As the attack finishes, Pushpa is looking to be mostly okay while Malefica looks really tired out.

Condition:
Not much happened on the damage front, but Malefica lost a ton of energy, and she is looking to be in the final third on energy after the many round she has been in, although not close to critical yet thankfully. She's going to need a break though.

I hate you both, but not as much as I hate switching.

With her body betraying her, the immense fatigue laid upon her leaving her panting heavily, Malefica can only watch on as her opponent glows with a dull blue aura. The mumbling of Pushpa seems to irritate Malefica quite a bit, and it soon becomes apparent why, the Mismagius being put under a stifling curse preventing the use of defensive moves. Try as she might, she can find no way to enact her orders despite her innate resistance to such tactics, and she is left entirely at the mercy of her foe. Grinning widely with a smug aura, Pushpa lashes out with numerous writhing tendrils wrought of pure green energy, each of them attaching to Malefica with little ease. Moments later and the Mismagius is left looking even worse than she previously was, clearly coming near the end of her tether.

Malefica hanging just above critical energy now, but is slightly fresher than she was. Pushpa still looking good.

Still under the effects of Taunt and left staring at her foe with a disgruntled look on her face, Malefica can only watch on as Pushpa once again creates tendrils of crackling green energy. This time the thrusting creations are slightly less in number and intensity, but it is obvious from the slump in form of Malefica that she is not enjoying the interaction. As these tendrils fade, Pushpa gathers even more, sending them into the body of her foe and grinning as they take their toll on the body of Malefica. As they fade, so does the fighting spirit of the ghost.

Malefica is unable to battle! Machamp-X, your next Pokemon please.

Pushpa is sitting pretty right now, waiting for her next opponent.

...I thought it healed curses. I'm terrible.

Return, Malefica!

Interceptor, your turn! Sludge Bomb, then an Acid Spray to the eyes, swapping out the latter for a Dark Pulse if he has a screen up.

I feel like only Refresh has that property. Not sure I would have it override Taunt but you could argue that, good spot.

With Malefica having done her duty, she is returned to her Poke Ball, with Interceptor soon called in her place. The disgruntled Skuntank looks down his nose at his opponent, his lips curling back into a growling snarl, but Pushpa is unimpressed. Hissing at this indifference, Interceptor whips his large tail through the air, sending a wailing barrage of orbs sailing towards his foe. Pushpa, ever the nimble snake, manages to sharply accelerate out of the blast radius, twisting and turning her undulating body away from danger. Turning back towards her foe, she wears a smug grin which only irritates Interceptor more. Opening his maw wide, the Poison type ejects a sickly yellow spray of stinking acid, the blast striking Pushpa directly in the face. Whining as she draws away, it soon becomes evident to any onlookers that the real Serperior went unharmed a few feet behind her duplicate, a wide grin remaining on her face.

Pushpa only took Substitute damage this round, Pushpa is about good for two, while Interceptor went untouched and is pretty fresh.

Wanting to prolong the suffering of his foe, Pushpa allows the two protrusions of his neck to shine with a dull green glow, whipping them through the air and sending numerous seeds hurtling towards Interceptor. They burst into vines as they come close, but Interceptor is wise to the attack, opening his mouth wide and ejecting an abrupt stream of singing flame. The incredible crimson blast incinerates the incoming vines with ease, continuing on and obliterating the remainder of Pushpa's substitute. Grunting with irritation, the Serperior instead determines to lay a familiar curse upon his foe, muttering under his breath and managing to temporarily seal the connection between Interceptor and his non-offensive moves. The Skuntank is unperturbed, choosing to allow his tail to shine with a sickly purple glow, and with a deft spin, he launches a barrage of orbs through the air. They rain down on Pushpa, splattering the Serperior with damage and sludge alike, and his shudders tell of the toxins invading his body.

Pushpa is now poisoned. His round was light, but he's still tiring ever so slightly. Interceptor good for two.

"Leaf Tornado to tear through the Sludge Bombs and send them back at Skuntank. Agility to dodge the Venoshock and hide in that conveniently-placed and intensely dense cluster of vegetation."

Determined to maintain his advantage, Interceptor once again allows his tail to shine with an intense purple glow, flicking it through the air to send a barrage of orbs hurtling towards Pushpa in a compact arc. They come near the Serperior who hisses, unable to prepare his own attack quite in time to deal with the incoming projectiles. With a roar, they rain down around him, but he is quick to enact his revenge. Creating a whirling tornado towards him, he injects a flurry of leaves into the tearing turbulence, launching it across the ground and watching on with a smug grin as it batters the body of Interceptor, causing the Skuntank to be knocked from side to side. Catching himself and steadying his stance, Interceptor this time fires a sickly viscous fluid through the air, the green substance coming close to Pushpa ... who beats a very quick retreat, once again diving into the surrounding shrubbery to maintain some sort of hidden vantage.

Pushpa really looking quite tired now, Interceptor likewise tiring slightly. Interceptor only took a slight hit, while Pushpa is into his second third.

Taunt him. Use your sense of smell to track him down for an Acid Spray.

Determined to stall her foe out, Pushpa remains within the surrounding growth, but as she begins to channel energies throughout her body, she finds something is strange. A pulsing blue aura surrounds her body, and as she tries to force her technique to completion, she finds the strange aura interfering. With a hiss of realisation, she figures out what has happened - a curse has been laid upon her. With a crooning groan of irritation, the Serperior instead decides to focus on moving deeper into the bushes, but Interceptor remains true to his name. Using his keen sense of smell, he bounds after the serpentine Grass type, and opening his mouth wide, spews a vitriolic liquid after her. The attack lances against her left flank, some of the liquid blocked by the dense foliage, but the Serperior is still clearly left irritated by the blow.

Both within the bushes now. Pushpa continues to move through her second third, not terribly far from the end now, and is refreshed but Taunted. Interceptor went untouched once again and despite a slightly less strenuous round, is still clearly feeling the burn.

Strafe to one side, blasting a Dark Pulse at the snake. Continue to track him down, though.

I regard 'damage dealing' moves as meaning explicitly those that strike health. I understand that some may consider draining moves to be fine, but for me that's a no go.
