Alright this will hopefully be a really fun match. Thank you for taking this on such short notice SoS, and good luck Snorby!

Squad:

Thran Level 4 Male Sceptile
Thran was constantly picked on when he was a Treecko and Grovyle. He was neither quick nor strong, simply average, which meant that he lost almost every fight he got into. But now, as a Sceptile, Thran sees that not being defined by either trait is a blessing, rather than a curse, and because of this he's adopted a technique that utilizes the best of each side.
Signature Attack: Twin Blades [Fire/Ice]
Thran can choose between using either the fire typed technique or the ice typed technique. Thran has the type energy to use either technique twice but may only use this signature twice per battle. He loses access to Detect, Leaf Storm, Fury Cutter, Outrage, and Double Edge.
Strength in Fire: Thran coats his arms with fire before slamming into his opponent head on, dealing a considerable amount of fire typed damage for an equal amount of fire typed energy. This has a 20% chance to burn and Thran takes equal equal to 25% of the damage dealt before SE modifiers (a light amount) as typeless damage.
Speed in Ice: Thran coats the blades on his arms with a solid amount of ice typed energy before very quickly slashing at his opponent, sending a disc of solid ice at his opponent, dealing a good amount of damage while also leaving a smack down-like effect.
Hidden Power: Ice

Reener Level 4 Male Primeape
Reener is always angry. It does not matter the circumstances, or if he's showing it or not. There has always been a rage inside of him that is deeply rooted where it sits. Reener cannot let it go, and sometimes the fury can't let go of him either.
Special Technique: Undying Rage
When in battle, if Reener takes damage that would KO him, that round automatically ends. The rage inside of Reener takes complete control of him, allowing for him to survive for one more round. In the round that Undying Rage is active, Reener benefits from a 10% boost to his offenses, is unaffected by previous exhaustion, and cannot faint. At the end of the round Undying Rage de-activates, and Reener faints immediately. Reener can no longer use Thrash, Outrage, or Focus Punch.

Kara Level 4 Female Samurott
Kara is the successor to my previous Samurott, Lutra. Before Lutra left to continue his travels as a master swordsman, he helped Kara develop her own unique style that filled holes that would otherwise inhibit her success.
Special Training: Earthborn
Kara's scalchops have been replaced with wider, sturdier scalchops that are composed completely of hardened earth. Kara can use these scalchops to block electric based attacks somewhat, lessening the damage depending on how much is blocked. When holding these scalchops, Kara can also channel the energy of the earth through them, granting her access to Bone Club, Bone Rush, and Bonemerang, and fauxmiliarity to the type (~3 uses of Bone Club), but each require an extra minor amount of typeless energy to use. Kara can no longer use Air Slash, Icy Wind, Blizzard, Aqua Tail, or Revenge.
Hidden Power: Ground

AiAi Level 4 Male Infernape
AiAi absolutely adores the game Super Monkey Ball. So much, in fact, that he's altered his fighting style to incorporate the game, if only just a little bit.
Signature Move: Super Monkey Ball
A half yellow, half clear ball of electric energy forms around AiAi using a Significant amount of Electric energy. It is big enough to fit him, and only him. He then rolls at the opponent, dealing significant Electric Damage. AiAi is capable of rolling at high speeds, meaning that he is fully capable of launching himself into the air. Due to the nature of the ball, it possesses a Skull Bash like quality, allowing for it to push through other energy based moves with ease. AiAi has the energy to use this attack twice, but cannot use ThunderPunch or Stealth Rock.
Hidden Power: Ghost

Claire Level 4 Female Crawdaunt
All Crawdaunt are intimidating, no doubt. But while Claire is intimidating, she is a kind soul, truly not wanting to hurt anyone or anything. But, she will ignore her resistance to fight if she finds that the cause is noble. And when Claire chooses to fight, bad guys beware.
Signature Attack: Sword of the Divine
Claire calls upon the holy power within her, using a significant amount of fairy typed energy to extend a glowing blade of energy from one of her claws. She then stabs the opponent with this blade, dealing a considerable amount of fairy typed damage while also having a 30% chance to burn the areas struck by the blade. The blade is made from energy but possesses somewhat physical properties, giving it the ability to break through Reflect and Light Screen. Claire has the energy to use this twice. Claire loses access to Swagger, Avalanche, Sludge Wave, and Hone Claws.

This levitation will wear off after four rounds have passed She has also learned the move Teleport. Buranimi can no longer use Bulk Up, Gravity, Psycho Cut and Seismic Toss.

Soto's Barrier, Light Screen, and Reflect attacks all cost 20% less energy to perform. Soto may no longer use Mega Punch and Psybeam.

Clapton has learned the moves Drain Punch and Giga Drain, and these may be infused with Dragon energy instead of their usual type when ordered as Dragon!Drain Punch and Dragon!Giga Drain, respectively. Clapton has enough Grass offtype to use Giga Drain as a grass move twice per battle.

Begin with a Discharge as you move towards a nearby building. Continue the pressure with Shock Wave, but opt that out for Thunder Fang if they get close.

... Definitely. Familiar. Weird. Ah well, I'm sure it's entirely my imagination.

It's a cold day here in New Bark, because the Irish summer is at its end and it's November again yayyyy. But Red and Snorby are here to settle a battle as ancient as time and space, male and female, snapping turtle and ape: lion and monk. Luxray vs. Medicham, with Snorby opting not to Mega Evolve immediately. A possibly wise decision considering that doing it now would've afforded Red a re-order.

Well, we begin with Red's Luxray, Rectum, I MEAN REGNUM charging electrical power to release for mad parahax only to be interrupted by getting slapped in the face. Saying to himself "Dude, the fuck? Why would you even?", Anus bites the hand that slaps him; chomping into Buranimimimimimimi with the stored electricity he'd just been... storing. I r gud ref who needs a thesaurus. Donate today! Maybe I should set up a Patreon for SP actually... Anyway, using his intense years of training and meditation to resist the urge to scream; Buranimimimimimimi opts for the most metal approach and PUNCHES THE LION IN THE FUCKING FACE AND THEN HIS FIST EXPLODES FUCK YEAH

Regnum is thrown back; as is Buranimi by the force of his own blow. The battlers are separated, but Regnum's freshness keeps him from becoming confused.

Both battlers took fair hits this round, though Regnum is fresher. Snorbz.

Mega Evolve. Close some distance while you fire off an MC Focus Blast. Follow up with a Dynamic Punch once again, but if you're unable to reach your opponent for whatever reason opt for a Psychic Wave instead.

1am post-salt reffing go.

So Snorby chooses now to activate his Mega Bangle, releasing Buranimi's latent potential and Mega Evolving to gain the advantage, while not affording red a reorder. Wise decision there. However, this, combined with the small charge time for his Focus Blast offensive allows ample time for the Luxray to dodge the incoming blow with a Quick Attack, hitting the monk as he does so. Buranimi fires back though, smacking the lion right in the jaw with a thunderous Dynamic Punch exploding right in his face. Since the battlers were so close thanks to the Quick Attack, he was an easy target for the Mega Pokémon, and to make matters worse for red, Regnum has now become mildly confused; attempting to Thunder Wave but to no avail, distracted by birdies.

Prepare your regnum.

(not even sorry)

Regnum is fresher, but almost out of the first third and slightly confused. Buranimi wouldn't mind a breather soon, though the Fighting SC will keep her going a little longer.

Already tired? Did you ref that Focus Blast as being MC or FC?

Spew a Toxic, then follow up with a High Jump Kick over the Discharge. If he doesn't use Discharge, just Meditate.

While it takes a second for him to focus due to his confusion, Regnum's outstanding sense of smell makes him easily able to locate Buranimi as he charges blindly forward with a rough Facade and while she prepares a small acupuncture needle armed with poison. As the monk stabs Regnum with it, she gets hit hard by the tackle, sending her sprawling as the toxins seep through the lion's body. As it turns out, hitting your head against someone else is a pretty solid way of clearing your head, allowing Regnum back into the fight, though that Toxic will certainly put a timer on things.

But with a clear mind, he feels more than capable of ripping into his foe, storing powerful electricity once again before expelling it in a circular wave around himself - but the agile Medicham is too quick for this, leaping up into the air and slamming down onto the lion with a sickening crack. Those years of training have clearly paid off for Buranimi, who vaults into the lead, but is clearly starting to show signs of tiredness.

Regnum is almost to the mid, but is still just about good for two. Two consecutive forced one movers will do that. Buranimi is out of the first third of energy, but sitting pretty in terms of health. She has half her Poison left, but would definitely appreciate a break either this round or next.

Buranimi and Regnum continue to menacingly stare each other down; with the Medicham keeping an eye out for any flying sparks. Satisfied that none are coming, she prepares for yet another Dynamic Punch attack that will surely give her the edge in combat, only to swing wildly as the Luxray vanishes! His speed is incredible, and his feline agility allows him to easily vault to the roof of a house, shimmying up a drainpipe like a giant spider. Have fun with that image. With his opponent right where he wants her, the Luxray howls as he charges his attack - a Thunderbolt that damages the Medicham considerably! However, his smugness quickly turns to a grimace as venom takes hold and poison damage begins...

Regnum went undamaged apart from Toxic and is just about good for two, though only just. Buranimi is feeling somewhat refreshed and is still in her first third.

(Assuming the roofing specifics are up to Rock Arena rules here)

See that dormer situated directly above and behind him? Teleport onto it, dodging the Shcok Wave in the process if possible, then leap down and clock him with a DynamicPunch while he tries to figure out where you've gone. Try to knock him off the roof with the punch and ensuing explosion, if you can.

Ah the good old "if the battler says it there it totally is" approach to these arenas. Not at all absurd.

Using her freshness advantage, combined with the power of her Mega Stone, Buranimi disappears before her eyes, while Regnum fruitlessly backs up to launch his arcing bolts, which were somewhat slow to release since he was moving at the same time.

DEAL WITH IT.

At the same time, Buranimi reappears above the lion and behind him, on top of a dormer, which I now know is "a structural element of a building that protrudes from the plane of a sloping roof surface. Dormers are used, either in original construction or as later additions, to create usable space in the roof of a building by adding headroom and usually also by enabling addition of windows."

So Regnum was below one of those on a balcony.

Look I don't know I'm working with what I have.

However, his keen sense of smell allows him to easily detect his opponent's location, and he prepares for impact. Buranimi leaps from the dormer, Fighting energy charged into her fist, ready to explode... And it does! But rather than Regnum falling from the roof, it's Buranimi who is tossed by the Luxray's Facade, somewhat deflecting the blow and keeping him just about in place! It's a lucky break for Red, especially as Regnum evades more confusion.

Buranimi is now below the midpoint of energy, but holds a fair health lead. The situation is the reverse for Regnum, though he would appreciate a breather slightly more than the Medicham.

Kinda confused about how being hit by an exploding fist that threw both battlers back last time it was used didn't do a thing to knock the Luxray off the roof, partial or otherwise, but okay :p

Throw up a Light Screen. MC Focus Blast.

You essentially landed on top of it, so the explosion + Facade kind of bucked you off towards the ground while sending Regnum sort of pushing in and backwards to it, if that makes sense.

Height advantage is A Great Thing (tm), certainly in this battle anyway. Seeing his opponent begin to shield himself with a reflective barrier, to block any incoming special blows, Regnum appeals to the cosmos to take down his foe. He whips his tail, spawning miniature stars from it, which pass straight through Buranimi's shield to batter her. It appears that trick won't work on this Luxray, who howls in triumph. Growling in frustration, Buranimi responds with a righteous Hadouken that travels across the distance between the two rapidly, grazing the lion who isn't quite quick enough to dodge the blast of a Mega Pokémon, though he is feeling a little fresher now... The Focus Blast wrecks the wooden dormer above Regnum, making it very clear just how powerful this Medicham is...

Regnum is grazing the final third now, but is quite fresh now, thank you very much. Buranimi is into the final third of energy, and just above the mid. Just about ok for a two.
