Right then. All the good luck you don't need to you Dave, and thanks for reffing Silent c:

Bringing New Life Token because I don't have that many things looking for levels and I think most of my other options would be ridiculous to bring to a leveler c:

Alpha: Level 1 Male Stunfisk

Spark: Level 1 Male Electrike

Zen: Level 1 Male Elekid

Veneraca: Level 1 Female Goomy
Hidden Power Type: N/A
Item Attached: New Life Token
Bio:
Veneraca used to live outside a nuclear power plant. She lived there happily for years, but one day, disaster struck. One of the reactors exploded, and the entire area became contaminated with radioactive wastes. Veneraca tried to get away, but alas, the waste mixed with her gooey body, and she needed to be in intensive care for months. When she was finally able to be released, it was only on the condition that a trainer would take care of her and help her learn to cope with the drastic changes to her body. I accepted this task and happily added Veneraca to my team.

Special Training: Radioactive Mutation (Poison)
After the incident in the power plant, Veneraca's body went through some very strange mutations. First off, she has become absolutely enormous: She is the same size as a Hariyama and has learned the moves Earthquake, Bulldoze, and Flamethrower. Thanks to the radioactive substances in her bloodstream, Veneraca has learned Acid Spray, and physical contact with her has a 5% chance of poisoning the opponent. Veneraca may not use the moves Protect, Water Pulse, Hidden Power, Dragonbreath, Sludge Wave, Rest, Snore, Double Team, or Attract. She may never evolve. She now takes the full amount of damage when hit with a physical attack.

Ignisector: Level 1 Male Heatmor
HP Grass

Clavitus: Level 1 male Spiritomb
Hidden Power Type: Fighting
Biography: Clavitus was bound to his keystone hundreds of years ago by the demons of Hell. These demons tortured his subconscious over the centuries, but under me he has trained his mind to accept the influence of the demons. After he accomplished this, he changed drastically. Where he was once purple, he is now a reddish-orange color. Where he was green, he is now black. His pupil is now a blood red color. On top of these aesthetic changes, he has acquired an odd ability: He is now able to produce hellfire.

Special Training: Hellfire [Fire/Dark]
Using Good Fire-Type energy and Good Dark-Type energy, Clavitus draws from the demonic powers within him to shoot hellfire at his opponent. This is essentially a much more potent version of Will-O-Wisp. It deals good Fire-Type damage, as well as mild Dark-Type damage. However, if it hits, it is incredibly likely to burn the foe, with mild burns being almost certain, and more significant burns occuring around 60% of the time. Clavitus may use this technique twice per battle. Clavitus may not use Will-O-Wisp or Rest.

Hey no worries, I'm bringing a Beedrillite so it kinda balances out? G'luck Snorby, thanks Silent!

Beedrillite
Attachable Token
A Mega Stone, Beedrillite allows Beedrill to Mega Evolve. In its Mega Form, Beedrill becomes a fierce and extremely fast attacker. Its needle and spear-based attacks are 20% more effective. It is also an extremely fast flier.
Attached to: Seven the Beedrill

Level 1:

Seven: Female Beedrill
Beedrill (Bug/Poison): Beedrill are more effective in numbers and, when battling alongside another Bug-typed Pokémon, gain a boost in confidence that raises their attack. Their Poison Sting and Twineedle attacks have an increased chance to poison, also dealing slightly more damage than usual. Beedrill are intimidating Pokémon, particularly in numbers. Multiple Beedrill, Combee and Vespiquen on the same side share a hive mind, meaning that one cannot be surprised unless they all are and one cannot be affected mentally unless they all are.
Bug-types can see in the dark. Most live in warm climates, though they hate fire and dislike extreme cold. Their status-inducing attacks have a slight boost to their chance of inflicting statuses and the resulting statuses are slightly more potent than usual.
Poison-type Pokémon are highly resistant to poisoning. Their Poison-type attacks are slightly more likely to succeed in poisoning their targets than those used by other Pokémon and the effects will be slightly more potent. They also have an additional 5% chance to poison the target when using physical attacks with their most venomous appendages e.g. a Seviper’s tail, a Nidoking’s horn.
Bio: Under Construction
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Water
Attached Token: Beedrillite

Cuauhtli: Male Hawlucha
Hawlucha (Fighting/Flying): Though not extremely fast or proficient fliers, Hawlucha are extremely adept at aerial movement. Although they can maintain some level of flight, they prefer jumping and gliding, and can move extremely fast when launching from the ground. When executing physical moves, they can also more easily manoeuvre to evade counter-attacks or position themselves in an optimal place.
Fighting-type Pokémon train extensively, more than any other Pokémon type, which gives them greater endurance and readiness than other Pokémon and allows them to push themselves harder for longer. They are more accurate with their physical blows and are more adept at blocking and countering the physical strikes of attackers. They fight more enthusiastically in urban environments but are not adversely affected by more natural surroundings.
Flying-type Pokémon are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation than other Pokémon. Because of their skill in controlling their movement, they are more difficult to evade when using physical moves and more likely to succeed in dodging attacks. Flying type Pokémon are affected normally by the damaging effects of Ground-typed energy and take neutral damage from Ground type moves in the ASB. They fight more enthusiastically in spacious arenas but are not put off by cramped conditions.
Bio: Under Construction
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Ground

Brimstone: Male Magcargo
Magcargo (Fire/Rock): Magcargo can survive in molten lava indefinitely. They can use Acid Armour in lava they way water Pokémon can use Acid Armour in water (i.e. turn invisible). Their rocky shell provides little defence, unless they have had a good amount of time to cool. Any Pokémon that comes into contact with a Slugma or Magcargo has a 20% chance of being burned and their bodies can provide illumination. Because of the intense heat radiated by Magcargo, Water based attacks deal only half damage as they evaporate before they can affect it. They do not take extra Water damage for having an 'exposed flame'. They can see in the dark and are inorganic.
Fire-types fight most enthusiastically in hot and dry conditions. They are extremely difficult to burn and most can survive in hot liquids/molten lava for an extended period of time (indefinitely in the case of the Magmar and Slugma lines). If a Fire Pokémon has an exposed flame somewhere on its body, it will take a small amount of extra damage if liquid water hits the flame. Otherwise, Fire-type Pokémon are not adversely affected by taking dips in bodies of water, so long as the time is short (except in the case of the Magmar and Slugma lines, who will take damage the longer they are in the water).
Rock-type Pokémon generally have hard bodies, which makes them resistant to physical hits and projectiles. They are difficult to burn or poison and prefer hot environments to cold ones. Most are so heavy that they will sink in water, so they stay away from deep-water sources if possible. They are adept at controlling rocks and will use less energy than other Pokémon when using Rock Tomb, Stealth Rock etc. to manipulate the arena. They have slightly more Ground energy than other Pokémon if they naturally learn attacks of that type.
Bio: Under Construction
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Water

Diddy Kong: Male Simisage
Simisage (Grass): As monkeys, Simisage are quite nimble and deft, able to navigate trees and branches with ease. The foliage on Simisage’s head, though somewhat bitter, is invigorating. Once a battle, Simisage can eat it or offer it to an ally, restoring a good amount of energy and refreshing them, causing them to feel less tired. Simisage are also somewhat temperamental and can be somewhat easily provoked. They have two vines hidden in their head foliage that they can extend to use to manipulate objects and Pokémon and attack. Despite not being starter Pokémon, their Grass-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they go below 1/4 health.
Grass-type Pokémon live anywhere that can support vegetation, though most prefer temperate to tropical climates, and are adept at concealing themselves in areas with lots of vegetation. Grass-types enjoy both bright sun and rain and fight more enthusiastically in the day time, though they are not put off by fighting at night. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls, while excessively bright sunlight will regenerate their energy instead. Healing moves cost slightly less energy when used by Grass-types and their draining moves will heal them by a greater amount (without draining any more from the opponent) while suffering only half of the usual diminishing returns. They are immune to spore based techniques like Sleep Powder and are more adept at using such attacks themselves, creating denser concentrations of spores which are harder to disperse and more potent in their effects.
Bio: Under Construction
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Ground

Apache: Male Tropius
Tropius (Grass/Flying): Tropius, while not the most agile or fastest fliers, have some of the largest wingspans, meaning that their wind based attacks are 1.2x more powerful. Any Pokémon, including Tropius, may use a move to eat a fruit from Tropius' neck, restoring a good amount of health. They gain greater benefits from strong sunlight than other Grass-types.
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Rock

Tiny Kong: Female Simipour
Simipour (Water): As monkeys, Simipour are quite nimble and deft, able to navigate trees and branches with ease. Although able to release water through their mouth, Water attacks can also be used through their tail, allowing for better accuracy and a wider range of fire. If in or near a source of water, their tail can be used to siphon extra water to slightly reduce the energy use for Water attacks fired from the mouth. Despite not being starter Pokémon, their Water-type attacks are slightly more powerful when they go below 1/4 health.
Water-type Pokémon are generally able to hold their breath and/or breathe underwater. The time varies, from several rounds in the case of birds, mammals and reptiles to indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are generally good swimmers and are better at manipulating Water for moves like Surf and Whirlpool than other Pokémon. They have slightly more Ice-typed energy than other Pokémon if they naturally learn attacks of that type.

Oh dear that squad is spoopy.

Ignisector, you'll be taking point.

Will-O-Wisp. If he's burned, Heat Wave. Otherwise, another Will-O-Wisp

Round 1:

Seven and Ignisector stare each other down as the ref finally waves the flag to begin. Ignisector quickly forms mutiple hot Wisp of flame around him, and fires them at Seven. Seven have other plans and brings his two stings together and extrending them and starts performing an ancient Dance of Swords. Winds form around him has he spins around, blowing away the Wil-o-Wisp ever so easily from his body. The winds beging to die down as Seven stops spinning, he feels his new found strength from the dance coursing through his veins. Ignisector quickly sees this and prepares a second helping of Wil-o-Wisp this one extra hot, and fires it at Seven once more. The Wisps collide with Seven, scorching him, and sending him straight to the ground, but luckily he receives no burns. Seven quickly forms a Baton of energy and passes it to Brimstone the Macargo. Brimstone feels a nice buff in his attack, thanks to Seven.

Summary
Seven is trailing on health thanks to the Super Effective blow, but will be resting in his pokeball.

Brimstone is untouched and feels a nice buff. He is fresh.

Ignisector is untouched and is good for two.

Well Ignisector, you don't have much time, so let's do what we can while we can, no? Approach and smack him with a Rock Smash to the shell, then Sucker Punch him out of that Stone Edge. Make it a three by bopping them with a Focus Blast

Round 2: MMS Change Your Nicknames.

Brimstone forms a boulder above his head and smashes it with his head, sending the shards of rocks to pelt the crap out of Ignisector. Ignisector braces for impact as the Rock slide pelt him one by one in the eye, foot, gut, the other eye, the nose, etc. Ignisector shoots out flames from his mouth and rushes toward Brimstone, coating his claw with fighting energy as he charges in. He makes a valiant leap into the air, flips, and delivers a Rock Smash directly to the hardened shell of Brimstone. Brimstone eyes shoot open, as he is smashed into the ground, the concentrated hit took a nasty toll on him. Brimstone slurps and glares at Ignisector(MMS I despise your NNes) and forms multiple pointed shards of rock around him. The rocks orbit Brimstone like he is a planet, and just before he is about to fire, Ignisector waves a hand filled with dark energy in his face. Brimstone look up at the fist, as if attracted to it like a fly is to light. Ignisector smirks and transfers the energy into its other fist and drives a Sucker Punch into the face of the snail, who loses concentration of his attack as he is knocked back a couple of feet. He is not done just yet, he brings his claws together as a faint glow of fighting energy forms between them. The energy grows larger and sparks to life, flaring with a vibrant aura. Ignisector chucks a Kamehameha focus blast thing at Brimstone, who is blown back by the attack.

Summary
Brimstone has a crappy welcome and is beneath the mid point in terms of health. He is good for two.

Ignisector has the lead on Brimstone. Fighting energy is gone, dark energy is under half. He would like a break.

Round 3:

Ignisector releases multiple green tendrils come from his claws, and shoot out towards Brimstone. The tendrils quickly wrap all around the Snail, entangling him within. Brimstone tries to struggle free, but the more he struggles, the tighter the tendrils hold on. Ignisector closes his eyes and initiates his Giga Drain, the tendrils start to glow, and Minor feels his energy leaving its body by the second. Grenade feels the energy of his foe entering his own body. Brimstone wants to cut this charade short and forms shards of rock around him and releases them to beat the crap out of Ignisector . Ignisector is once again pelted by Stone Edges, the intense pain breaking his concentration, and sending his flat on his back. Ignisector hops to his feet and begins to sprint towards Brimstone, as his claws crackles with electricity. Ingnisector swings his fist, socking Brimstone in the face with a Thunderpunch. Brimstones eyes close as he slides back, sparks spark on his cheek, but nothing more, luckily he wasn't paralyzed. Brimstone yet again creates a boulder in front of him and smacks it with his head. The Rocks Slide all over Ignisector, putting a great toll on his health.

Summary:
Ignisector is hovering right above critical health. Electric and Grass are at about half. Good for two.

Brimstone is approaching critical. He got slightly drained this round, but can manage two if need be.

ST Agility away from the ancient power, closing any gap between the two of you as you do so. Protect from the Bulldoze to waste his energy

Round 4: Oh Come on Papa Wants SP.

No worries, it was fairly short. :]

Brimstone calls upon his ancient powers, gathering together Rock energy in front of his face, as it quickly takes the form of an orb. Brimstone fires the orb as it spirals towards Heatmor, in at attempt to put an end to him. Heatmore tries to quickly dart out the path with some impressive Agility, but he is knicked by the attack taking partial damage and continues to make his way towards Brimstone. Brimstone pumps the ground with ground type energy attempting to Bulldoze over Heatmor. But Heatmore will have none of that and puts up a Protective barrier. All I can say is fuck you Snorby.

Summary.
Heatmore will basically pass out from even a little poke now. Brimstone and Heatmore would both like breaks.

A two-mover, a three-mover and another two-mover and he's able to dodge a close range, low-energy STAB attack with unfamiliar Agility? This is starting to seem odd.

But I though Giga drain didn't use up any energy? Based on its description, so I reffed it as a one mover. Unless I'm wrong about that?

This is true, but it doesn't really count as a breather either. It's sort of in the middle, but eh, it's 5am and I should probably have sleep at some point.

With all do respect, if it's alright I would like to make a case for it staying as is.

To quote the skype convo about this:

[11:10:30 PM] DaveTFG: someone tell me i'm not going mad and Giga Drain doesn't cost energy but doesn't count as a breather either, right?
[11:11:07 PM] Miror: Doesn't cost energy, not sure about the breather bit
[11:11:48 PM] Stealthy: I say it's kindof a breather but not as good as a one mover
[11:12:00 PM] DaveTFG: yeah that's my thoughts
[11:12:05 PM] DaveTFG: it's kind of in the middle of a one and two mover
[11:12:28 PM] Stealthy: Yeah. It's worse as a breather than a one mover but better than a low energy two mover. And much better than a mid or high energy two mover

So, both Dave himself and Stealthy agree that a full Giga Drain should be at least some form of a breather. I'd think the fact that it was shortened a great deal would also factor in somewhat, since it's not even a full move.

I also ordered based on the thought that Heatmor had his break, but I digress. Just wondering if this stuff is factored in at all.

The point is that it really doesn't read like the Giga Drain got cut short at all. If it did then fine, I'll retract my comments (aside from saying that stall in a levelling match is the work of the devil :p). I mean my energy's being punished when I had a functional one-mover the round before last so you'll forgive me for smelling a rat.

Going to validate Dave's above comment. If Giga Drain was in fact interrupted to some degree, then I would say the round should stand as it is. If Giga Drain did in fact run to completion, then Ancient Power should probably hit for the full. Agility is quick, sure, but almost every other factor weighs in the corner of Brimstone - unfamiliar Agility is slower, Brimstone has initiative, would have a significant energy advantage.
