No questions for you, but I'm questioning why the hell I even put Cleffa in my squad for this. And it's basically cost me this, because he's got a pretty solid counter for whoever I send out, so what the hell. Kazza, let's see if we can't drag them to hell.
Calm Mind into Swift. Replace either with a Teleport if he tries to U-Turn.

At first I was confused as to how Cleffa was KO'd already... then I remember we're doing 4/6.

"Give him a glob of Toxic while he's concentrating. Then try and drop yourself behind a few rocks for some cover without using too much energy."

Round 9:

So about the scales, from the previous reffings I assumed that this was being reffed under 4/6, and usually if it is being reffed as 4/6 it'll be specificly mentioned as such because 6/9 is the standard. Eight rounds is pretty standard for one pokemon to last, and in 4/6 usually each pokemon don't last more than 5. It's kinda too late for me to change the scale as we'd have to redo a lot. Sorry!

Ironthunder recalls Starburst, giving her a few words of encouragement, before tossing out another pokeball onto the field, revealing his second and final pokemon, Kazza the Kadabra!

Kazza immediately settles down and meditates, calming her mind to increase her mental fortitude and specially oriented stats. Faraday takes advantage of this lack-of-action by spewing out of glob of toxic, which splatters onto Kazza and begins to sink towards her bloodstream, surely to be a nuisance if this match is long and drawn out. Kazza, slightly annoyed by Faraday's uncouth actions, raises her spoon and fires out a barrage of stars, the Swift pelting Faraday before she can seek refuge. The Froakie moves behind a rock to prevent any further damage from being done, doing her best to get a quick breather in.

Another solid blow sees Faraday full inside that final third marker, not too near the critical area yet though. She appreciated the break and is ready to go. Kazza hasn't taken any damage quite yet, toxic starting next round. She has a Calm Mind boost and is still raring to put the hurt on.

Round 10:

The round begins with Faraday stomping her feet on the ground, sending a massive Rock Slide toward Kazza's position. The Kadabra sees the oncoming attack and focusses momentarily before disappearing, the rocks crashing and crumbling where she previously stood. She reappears near Faraday, not in melee range though because she didn't actually know where she was, just the general position, but the Teleport technique still put her fairly close to the frog. Faraday blinks in surprise as the Psychic type suddenly appears near her, and tries to quickly charge up a light blue energy, but Kazza lunges in, right fist crackling with energy as she socks Faraday with a ThunderPunch, the Froakie crying out in pain from the supereffective attack. Faraday then unleashes her attack, an azure lightning bolt of energy hitting Kazza dead on, the Ice Beam dealing a fair bit of damage. The round ends with Faraday feeling somewhat uncomfortable from being in such close proximity to the Kadabra, while Kazza shudders as the Toxic begins.

Faraday is not in good shape. She's practically at the critical point for health and is inside the critical marker for energy, not having much left in either tank. It's unlikely she'll make it through next round. Ice has plenty left and rock has none. Kazza took a fair hit, not nearing anything yet though. She used a fair bit of energy but can make two if she needs to. Calm Mind boost persists, Toxic has started taking damage, and Electric is at half.

For reference: Critical range is 1 HB for Energy and a Significant amount for Health

Round 11:

Apologies for such a short round, having people over and going to be busy. And there isn't much happening anyways.

Kazza's eyes glow blue as she harnesses strange psychic powers, sweeping her spoon to unleash a wave backed by a great deal of force. Faraday can do nothing as the wave slams into her, picking her off her feet and sending her tumbling into the dirt. Despite the calls from her trainer, Kazza's evolution, uplevel, and calm mind boosts make sure that the Frog is not continuing any further. The road ends here.

Faraday is unable to battle! Next pokemon and orders from Prince!

Kazza twitches as the poison grows stronger.

Kazza only took toxic damage and appreciated the one mover. Her Calm Mind boost has started to fade, so she better make use of it while she still can.

Round 12:

Having recalled Faraday, Prince replaces her with an Umbreon by the name of Prinz. How similar!

Umbreon (Dark): Umbreon has sensitive hearing, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound-based status techniques like Supersonic. Their Baton Pass and Helping Hand attacks take slightly less time and energy to perform compared to other Pokémon. Umbreon may sweat poison out of their pores as a move. Any Pokémon not resistant to Poison who comes into physical contact with Umbreon risks being poisoned. The poison stays on Umbreon unless it is somehow washed off. Umbreon are immune to their own poison produced by this method. By concentrating and holding still, Umbreon can cause their rings to glow, brightening the area at the cost of very little energy. Umbreon take slightly less damage from special attacks compared to other Eeveelutions and are resistant to techniques which affect their mental state such as Confuse Ray.
This matchup is a bit lopsided but not all hope is lost for Kazza and Ironthunder. Prinz moves first, dancing around in a fluttering motion with a Quiver Dance, making use of his signature to empower his stats for the matchup to come. Kazza is having none of this, the Kadabra whispering something to the Umbreon to insult it. The confide doesn't stop the Quiver Dance altogether, but Prinz ends it prematurely out of anger of what he heard, his special attack boost also being negated. Prinz faces his opponent and snarls, trying to make himself look menacing, although the dark type energy deals a nice shot of damage. Kazza backs up, slightly deterred by the dark type, but she fires off her next attack nonetheless, although she's slightly hesitant. A sharp burst of pink light erupts from the Kadabra, the Dazzling Gleam hitting Prinz dead on. The Umbreon shakes his head as he finds himself blinded, although is sharp hearing allows for him to somewhat know where Kazza is. Ironthunder suddenly calls for a 3 mover, Kazza turning back to face her opponent with a determined look. She forms a small blue orb, which quickly swells as she focuses intensely. The Kadabra lets the Focus Blast fly, and while the Snarl made her hesitant and Prinz can hear her, quite a bit of the damage connects, tearing through Prinz's health for a devastating blow. Kazza clutches her side as the toxic damage continues to increase.

Prinz had a not so nice first round, chugging past the first third marker but only going a fair bit past that. Energywise he's got half his bug left but no more uses of Quiver Dance, and he's still good for two. Accuracy will be slightly lowered for next round. Has a boost to Speed and Special Defense. Kazza only took the snarl this round, pushing her towards the first third mark. Energywise she needs a break, with enough fighting left for a PuP and half her fairy left. No more three mover, and her Calm Mind boost will be gone very soon.

Round 13:

The newly sent out Umbreon begins by growling once more, hoping to instill fear into Kazza with a threatening Snarl, the waves of dark energy washing over the psychic type for a strong hit, although Kazza isn't stopped from doing anything due to the fact that he greatly outdamage his opponent last round. Kazza then channels a powerful amount of psychic energy, ripping off the sheets covering Prinz as the Miracle Eye fully reveals the Umbreon. Prinz huffs in frustration, moving closer as a small orb of malicious energies begins to form. He lets the Shadow Ball fly, Kazza crying out as it bursts, cutting away at her healthbar. Prinz continues with the assault, letting out a stream of dark energy, the dark pulse wrecking Kazza even more as the Kadabra is punished for not having safer orders. Kazza groans as the toxic continues to tick, adding insult to injury.

Prinz did not take any damage this round, still fine in that regard. Energywise he blew a ton, and would not mind a break despite being fresh to the battle. Ghost at half. Kazza, to be frank, got hit by a train. She's just outside critical ranges. She appreciated the break though!

Round 14:

Kazza holds her arm, sore and bruised after a fairly painful round. She will fight on though. She must. Holding her spoon up, the Kadabra channels the remainder of her fairy energy into the utensil, a bright burst of light erupting from it for one final Dazzling Gleam. Prinz lets out a yelp as he's temporarily blinded by the attack. Despite his panting, he turns an ear to listen for the Kadabra, locating her position. The Umbreon cloaks himself in a dark energy before barreling at Kazza, trying to put the nail in the coffin with an Assurance. The attack strikes Kazza, albeit awkwardly, but the damage has been done. She falls to the ground, her health levels dancing with death, but manages to struggle to her feet for her final stand. The Swan Song. Her fist glows a resilient brown as she lunges at Prinz, slamming him upside the head with a Power-Up-Punch. The Umbreon stumbles backwards, vision clearing. As the round comes to a close, Kazza's eyes suddenly shoot open with fear. A strangled cry is released from her before the Kadabra falls to the ground, completely and totally spent. The toxic was just too much for her to bear.

Kazza is unable to battle! Prinz and Prince are victorious!

Prince gets 2 KOs and 4 TP

IT gets 2 TP for a valiant effort

I get 3 SP for fast reffings

RMG gets 1 SP for reffing half of the first matchup

Great match, guys. Prince, your punishing of the Miracle Eye going first was very well done. IT, don't get down on yourself about this. You have Clefairy now! And despite your loss you still played very well.

A Sunny Day/Solar Beam combo would have rekt Froakie though dude. That itself would have had me sitting close to halfway if it hit directly.

Either way, what I meant is you had more typespam options than I did at the beginning. Fairy type > 2 weakness > none of which I could abuse at all lol.
