Since it is technically fairly important, Kindrindra will be ordering first after the Hidden Round, as dictated by good old RNG.

Holy hell this looks like it'll be wicked. Glad I decided to show up before it started, since this will give me some awesome reading material as it goes.

Good luck Kin and Concept!

Once per battle in switch = KO, the wielder may switch a pokemon as if it were switch = OK (obviously unlike BP, VS and UT, this doesn't pass any stat changes). This is treated exactly as it would be in switch=OK, with the opponent getting a re-order and such. In switch = OK, the wielder may (once per battle) pass on stat changes using a conventional switch as if using one of the switching moves. This is still treated as a regular switch would be (with the opponent getting a re-order). In either case it costs good energy (which, like the energy used for baton pass, cannot be recovered in the pokeball) and even if the switch is somehow prevented, the badge effect cannot be used again that match.

Level 6:

Atlas the Forretress (Male)
Hidden Power: Electric
Forretress (Bug/Steel): Forretress are almost completely covered by a hard, steely shell, reducing damage from all attacks to 80% power. However, they are slowed by their bulk and move mostly by rolling. They can levitate as well, but are slow, not particularly agile and possessed of a lower flight ceiling than most levitating Pokémon.
No sig.

Atlas, sent out floating low amongst the debris. Muster up a Rock Tomb then lay down Toxic Spikes.

Damion: Level 6 Male Drapion
"A man's strength is measured by those he strives to protect, not those he defeats."
A dedicated veteran of many a battle, Damion is the big-hearted leader of the famed warrior's guild. Very few can match him in solo combat, and testing his strength is a point of pride for him.
But who was he before all this?
A young fighter, dedicated to justice. Dedicated, yet naive. Despite his ideals, he didn't even know what he fought for. He didn't truly know what justice was. But, as he grew, his mind changed. No longer was he quite so concerned about some abstract ideal. He fought for his friends, and he counted on them to set him straight when he wandered off the path.
...Maybe he found his 'justice', afterall.
Hidden Power - Grass

Signature Technique: Master Warrior (Fight)
Damion has learned Iron Defense and Dynamicpunch and has gained the fighting energy to use the latter twice per battle.

"Damion, lead the charge! Open with Toxic Spikes, and follow with Confuse Ray. Replace the latter with slamming them headfirst into a boulder with Strength if you find yourself Taunted."

Nothing moves. Nothing but the faint trickling of water bubbling up from the underground spring can be heard, the monotonous sound permeating throughout the ancient room of heraldry. All is as it should be. Sunlight gently sifts through the various vines encrusting the worn stones lodged around the surroundings, but the tranquil peace is shortly disturbed. The distant clanging of doors whirring into life, the aged cogs of a grand system finally spinning into life once again. The pavilion had not seen action for centuries, but today it would have it's swan song. Two figures finally emerge at opposing ends of the decrepit room, tentatively navigating across unruly debris to come face to face at the center. A grizzled veteran, eyes having witnessed the coming and going of those before him, and a fresh faced challenger, lacking no confidence. Pleasantries exchanged, these two giants finalise their preparations, before taking their places.

Producing the first of their Poke Balls, the two trainers hold them aloft, simultaneously calling out names into the air. Spiraling high, the capsules reach the pinnacle of their climb before opening with a soft pop, the twin sections splitting cleanly along the seam to accommodate a churning rush of crimson light. Spilling down over the arena, the light blinds both spectators for a brief moment, before the champions are unveiled. Hovering stoically over a nearby pile of rocks, Atlas surveys his foe, the placid Forretress showing no signs of intimidation. Rather, his eyes narrow in an almost condescending fashion, and the beast before him reacts appropriately. Swinging his lengthy arms around, Damion roars into the air, the awkward anatomy of the Drapion undulating constantly as he shrieks his protestations to the perceived slight. As they each hunker down, the tension within the air rises.

Wasting no time, Damion wraps his elongated arms around his body, a pulsating aura of dank purple energies encapsulating the limbs. Hunching over, the Drapion begins to tremble as power rises within his form, and with a cackling glee, he unfurls his body. Spreading his arms wide, he sends a hail of poisonous orbs down over the surroundings, each of them rupturing readily over the crumbling earth. As they spread, a fine mist begins to rise from the coating, but Atlas remains unperturbed, the Forretress instead focusing on his own orders. Shifting awkwardly suspended in the air, he finally grunts with a determined exertion, abruptly levying his entire weight into the ground beneath him. An immediate panic seizes the body of Damion, but he realises all too late the true nature of the technique. A distant rumbling grows louder in mere moments, before sheer rock slabs erupt from the ground surrounding him, coming together to enclose him amidst an earthen prison.

His fury stoked to an insurmountable reach, Damion begins to thrash wildly within his constraints, his arms flailing everywhere as he seeks a weakness within the structure. Finally giving in to his early misfortune, the Drapion instead decides to conserve his energies, disgruntled in his awareness of his confinement. Atlas simply narrows his eyes in some show of amusement, before spinning his body at an incredible rate. The numerous protrusions littering the Forretress' body glow with an unearthly purple haze, before a familiar hail of small orbs are showered down around the arena. Crashing down and littering the opposing end, the entire surroundings are blanketed in a fine purple mist, promising retribution for all those unsuited to the conditions.

No damage was traded here, and both parties remain fairly fresh. Toxic Spikes will be in effect for both sides, while Damion remains trapped within the Rock Tomb.

As stated, Kindrindra will be first to order.

Normally I don't care about slow but come on Kin, this is the champ match. You've found time to order in less important matches so you've had time to order here. Technically this has a 72 hour dq. I will use it if you keep doing this in future rounds.

With the tension already beginning to rise in the surrounding air, Damion remains trapped amidst the darkness, the musky smell of the earth choking him from all sides. Grunting, the Drapion slowly shifts to the best of his ability, unwinding his elongated arms and placing them gingerly at the edges of his entombment. With some considerable force, he abruptly roars loudly, the hardened rock faces splintering along their length. Rupturing outwards wildly, the construct is left utterly annihilated, the animalistic pride rising within Damion's chest quickly quelled. Spinning his armoured body rapidly, Atlas generates quite some momentum, before instantly transferring the motions downwards. A cracking shot rings throughout the clearing, and waves of Ground energy surge forth, each of them ravaging the carapace body of Damion and leaving him writhing in throes of agony.

Hissing with indignation, Damion plans his escape, quickly scuttling across the ground towards a toppled pillar. Slowly clambering up the height of the grand stone carving, the Drapion remains situated with a clean sight of his foe, his leering gaze piercing into the core of Atlas. Shuddering, the Forretress begins to spin rapidly in place once more, but this time a whining white energy gathers around his steel carapace as he rotates. Panicking, Damion allows a yellowed light to rush through his eyes, blasting out around the surroundings and dying them with a glaring iridescence. Continuing to spin in place, sent off kilter somewhat by the dizzying show, Atlas allows the cloak engulfing his form to expand outwards, driven by his hurried motions. As it moves, the brilliant light dissolves the traps laid by Damion, leaving the field clear of all but those left by Atlas.

Damion is trailing in health now, and Toxic Spikes is no longer in effect for Concept's side. Ground energy of Atlas is good enough for one more Earthquake. Damion remains peppy enough, and Atlas is good for two.

Remaining as stoic as ever, Atlas continues to eye his foe through his armoured carapace, the Forretress casting an ominous shadow on the ground beneath him. Without warning, the small appendages jutting from within his steeled exterior begin to tremble with power, a shifting grey aura gathering around them as they begin to tilt towards Damion. Eyes wide, the Drapion abruptly begins to scuttle away, his limbs moving at rapid pace as he moves to avoid the inevitable. With a searing blast, a flickering beam of shining energy rockets through the air, and Damion sighs with relief as it barrels into a nearby boulder, missing his body by only the slightest of distances.

A resounding thud echoes through the air shortly after, and turning back towards where his foe once was, Damion realises Atlas had beat a retreat. Frowning as he begins to move between the rubble, the Drapion finally catches the briefest of glimpses of his foe, muttering under his breath ominously while becoming cloaked in an aura of pale blue light. The disgruntled bellow of Atlas soon rings through the air, signifying the success of Damion's curse, and the Drapion slumps with a momentary reprieve, knowing that the battle was far from concluded.

Damion remains good for two, and neither party suffered damage this round. Atlas is pretty peppy and in hiding, though Damion has a slight vantage on him.

Special thanks to my venerable opponent for the switching idea

"Damion, your battle will have to take a brief pause- It's switching time! Sparks, it's your turn!" (Released as high into the air as allowable)

Quote:
Sparks: Level 6 Shiny Rotom
"The Red Lightning never fails a thievery!"
Going by the moniker of 'The Red Lightning', Sparks has been my nemesis since an early age. To my knowledge, our first clash was his framing of me in the tampering of water filtration equipment. Since then, our duels have been stunning. He's always waiting for me to near electronic equipment so we can begin our latest faceoff. His downfall came when his species became common knowledge, at which point I was able to coral him and force him into our first true battle. He proved no less the willy opponent I had known him to be from our digital challenges. Zipping around and phasing through objects, he proved to be an opponent we couldn't simply pummel into the ground. Hard to do that when you can't hit them in the first place. But his capture was eventually earned. The thief was forced into my entourage, providing a height of speed among the team hereforto unseen.
He's also hilariously tsundere outside of battle.
Hidden Power - Fairy

Signature Move: Red Lightning [Ghost]
Expending considerable energy, Sparks shoots forwards at increased speed, appearing as only a trail of sparkles. He passes straight through the target's body, dealing solid physical damage. But the true effect of this sig is the thievery component- Successfully executing this attack steals all of the target's non-natural bonuses. That is to say, it steals the effects of all tokens, badges, or boosting moves and gives them to Sparks. If the target's token is incompatible with Sparks, its effect is not stolen.

"Use your high vantage point to rain destruction on them! Charge Beam and Discharge, in standard electric non-tactics. Also passively ascend obviously because the upper 'ground' grants a +2 to all rolls."

(Damion just hide and release two Dark Pulses if and when he shows himself)

Volt Switch to Minerva.

Quote:

Minerva the Gastrodon (Female)
Hidden Power: Fighting
Gastrodon (Water/Ground): Gastrodon have two different forms, although they are not different from each other other then looks. Gastrodon move at a decent speed on land, and a respectable pace in the water, though they prefer shallow, slow water to deep, fast currents. They are coated with a slimy substance, which makes them harder to grab and prevents them from being affected by Electric attacks when wet. They are also able to stick to the ground. Any weight attack used against them will when stuck will have them considered to be double their weight.
No sig.

Looking back towards his trainer, Damion nods in acknowledgement, the Drapion disappearing into his Poke Ball for later use. In his place, Sparks quickly begins to dart amidst the debris littering the floor, the tiny Ghost type chuckling manically as he considers the lumbering form of his newest foe. Wasting no time, Sparks begins to rotate the lower half of his body at an incredibly rapid pace, a whirling cloak of crackling yellow energy engulfing his entire form. As he takes careful aim, he sends a thrumming yellow beam extending forwards towards Atlas, the bulky Forretress grunting in baritone as a slight throb of pain spasms throughout him. As Sparks looks on, grinning widely and seemingly empowered, Atlas generates his own electric current, forming an intense magnetic field around himself. Before Sparks can react, a small sphere rushes forth, slamming into his plasmatic body and seeing Atlas disappear in a flash, replaced with the stoic figure of Minerva.

Minerva is entirely fresh, while Atlas took his first damage of the match and will enjoy his break. Damion will likewise enjoy his break, while Sparks is pretty peppy and will enjoy a boost.

Observing his newest foe, Sparks begins to tremble, keenly aware of the advantage the aquatic slug held over him. With a sharp twang of apprehension, the Rotom simply awaits his foes first move, determined to retaliate in kind. Grunting with determination, Minerva accedes to the presentation of opportunity, concentrating intently before shining with a dull brown aura. As she begins to channel energy into the ground beneath her, a small trail of dust is thrown up, the seismic power hurriedly crawling towards Sparks. A fleeting grin comes across the face of the Rotom, before he becomes wreathed in a brilliant crimson aura. Launching himself towards Minerva, Sparks completely evades the ensuing eruption of energy from beneath him, hurtling through his foes body. Shuddering after experiencing such a chilling sensation, Minerva slowly turns around, a silent fury in her eyes.

Baying loudly, clearly irritated at the slight her foe, Minerva begins to slowly move backwards, making sure she can garner a vantage at striking her foe. Grumbling, Sparks focuses instead on his own technique, turning a sickly purple as he begins to secrete a deadly toxin within himself. Opening his mouth wide, he spews a small projectile towards Minerva, and the Gastrodon shudders as the toxins begin to seep through her mucus covered skin, threatening to overcome her if she waits too long. This does little but to stoke her fury, and the Gastrodon once again shines with a dull brown aura, pressing her body down into the ground as she sends it crawling towards Sparks. Though the Rotom intended to avoid the blow, his foe was not going to simply sit and allow him to camp above her, and the column of energy quickly explodes beneath him to strike.

Sparks took a pretty nasty hit there, trailing to Minerva somewhat now. The Gastrodon remains pretty peppy, while Sparks is good for two, Poison enough remaining for one more Toxic.

Flitting in place, evidently disgruntled that he suffered damage in the previous round, Sparks concentrates intently, channeling a fine yellow energy through his eyes. Locking eyes with his foe, he chuckles as he watches the dumb look of Minerva, before spewing the concentrated light full into the face of the Gastrodon. Taken aback, Minerva stumbles backwards, shaking her head wildly. Bolt watches on with amusement, but his fun is quickly quashed. Seemingly overcome by a moment of sheer clarity, Minerva is left to stand entirely still, focusing inwards on her own mind. As her dumb grin only continues to grow wider, the Gastrodon purges her mind of everything but battle, eliminating the confusion and leaving her to face her foe with a lucid outlook.

Grunting with frustration, Bolt stares onwards, trying to determine what to do next. His brief moment of hesitation sees Minerva open her mouth wide, and the deliberate action leaves Bolt fully aware Minerva is lucid. As she begins to concentrate cyan energies into a single focal point, hurriedly crafting a pulsating sphere between her jaws, Sparks dedicates himself entirely to his next action. Cloaking himself amidst crackling crimson energies, he jolts forwards with an incredible acceleration, but too late came the charge. As he does so, Minerva sends furious beams of jagged energy surging towards the Rotom, and his shrieks cry out around the arena as they pierce his form. All is not well for Minerva though, as Sparks continues his charge, permeating her body and leaving her shuddering in agony once more.

Sparks remains trailing to his foe, and is now showing signs of tiring. Minerva remains good for two, plenty of Ice in the tanks.
