Steam Winter Sale
The Steam Winter Sale is now live!
General guidelines: 1. 2. Always double check what you're about to buy at places like Amazon and Is There Any Deal. Amazon in particular have been known in the past to sneakily put deals on big games that are in the Steam sale on the same day slightly cheaper. The Steam sale isn't always the cheapest option. At any rate; prep your wallets for pain!

Day the First:
Injustice: Gods Among Us - Ł3.49 Shogun II: Total War - Ł6.49 Both on daily deals, although the latter was Ł8.49 on Steam and cheaper on Gamersgate - which gives you a Steam activation code anyway. Woo for Is There Any Deal!

If you've ever enjoyed things like Roleplaying Games, Tactical Turn Based Combat, or Cyberpunk and Fantasy, you should check out Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut. Which is $7.50 right now. And amazing.
I'm personally holding out for Valkyria Chronicles (current no discount at all ~_~) and Starpoint Gemini 2 (hoping it drops more). |

Valkyria Chronicles is on daily deal today. Only 25% off but. I also picked up Arkham City.

Yay for that time of the year again! Just in time for my shiny-new computer :3 Going along the graph's strategy (for the maybe exception of the buying on the last day), I'm keeping an eye on the games on my wishlist.

Was gonna wait until the last possible minute to get The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky since it's only $15 (now it's $10 because daily deal what did I say fffffff), but then Martin got it for me as an early present >_>
I have a surprisingly lack of rpg games in my library, so I'm gonna be playing this non-stop for a while! |

As for me I almost never noticed that Octodad was in a Daily Deal, as it showed up only at the very bottom of the page. What the hell, Steam? At least I caught it in time; 75% off/5.5$ for the game and soundtrack is pretty sweet.
The one I mostly cannot wait to see on a better sale is Detective Grimoire. It's already pretty low at 7.79 for the base price and 5.84$ at the current 25% off, but I wanna see if I can get it at an even better price later. I am also checking out for Among the Sleep, but it is my sister who's interested in it. |

I actually haven't bought anything for myself, but this is the season of giving, so I've given/received a few things during the sale:
GAVE: Child of Light (x2) Dark Souls II Cat Lady RECEIVED: 99 Spirits Remember Me Gauntlet I haven't started playing Remember Me yet, but 99 Spirits is super fun! I may livestream it at some point. :EDIT: My boyfriend got the 4-pack deal for Gauntlet, and sent one to me. I anticipate some four-player action in the near future. (Yeah, I know. That's what she said.)

Steam Winter Sale is back, so I suggest we hunt as a community for great deals and whatnot. Remember that flashes and dailies are no longer a thing; if it's on sale now, it's staying there for the duration. A lot of my wishlist is on sale, so I'll start with it:
King's Quest (2015) - 90% off. Holy SHIT that's amazing value. Even if you haven't played King's Quest, it's an episodic game, so this is a steal if you want to give the game a shot. It's clever, creative and highly witty, really matching the old Sierra style with gorgeous new 3D visuals. Tex Murphy franchise - 75-80% off. Again, adventure games, but this private eye series really captures a noir feeling in a futuristic setting and it's certainly unique for that. Quality varies across the series, but Tesla Effect is probably the best of the bunch. FMV actors are best actors. Axiom Verge - 30% off. Super Metroid meets H.R. Geiger. Brilliant soundtrack, all made by one man. Rocket League - 30% off. Do I even need to explain it? You know why this game is good, it's fucking car football. Valkyria Chronicles - 66% off. I mean that's just a fuckin great deal right there. Witcher Franchise - 50-85% off. Yes I know this is on the front page but daaaaaaaaaamn, Witcher 2 for Ł2.25 has me super tempted. Now's a great time to jump on board and you can buy all three in a pack. Read Only Memories - 45% off. I like adventure games! I like cyberpunk shit! I like diverse and queer casts! You should try this one! Jotun - 33% off. This is a game I really want to try about a Norse warrior trying to prove herself to the gods to get into Valhalla. Entirely hand drawn 2D action/adventure title. Magicka 2 - 60% off. This game goes on sale all the time, but it's a multiplayer beat em up with Wizards who combine 10 elements to use a vast array of spells for maximum carnage. It's super silly fun! |

I'll start with the interesting stuff from mine. It's a bit odd, but bear with:
Final Fantasy VII: 50% off. I figured a decent RPG was needed, and I'd heard this was the best of the FF games, so... The Escapists: 66% off. Seen some YT stuff, somewhat of an open-ended prison escape game. I just want it, ok? Deadpool: 50% off. Need I explain? Kerbal Space Program: 40% off. Sandbox rocket building game. You've probably heard of it. ...And that's my sale wishlist. Anything else offered, I'll see what I can do.

Deals found:
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1: 80% off - $5.99 Re;Birth 2: 70% off - $8.99 Re;Birth 3: 60% off - $11.99 So yeah that's a thing. I guess these are all good sales and I know the franchise is popular. Got: The first one remember i am penniless so this is probably the extent of my steam shopping
