Special Resistance - Gift of the Quagmire
Cresspallion is coated in a corrosive substance, similar to the acid that is used in the move Acid Spray. Any move that makes physical contact with Cresspallion has 20% recoil in acid damage, as well as any move where Cresspallion makes physical contact with her opponent does 1.2x (for the purpose of calculation, it does Poison-type damage). In realistic, this can cause burns, once again similar to Acid Spray, which increase in severity the longer the contact is made.
Karfelon - Level 1 Male Kecleon

Special Resistance - Hideaway
Karfelon's blending into the background is an instinctive technique, meaning that it is always hiding from view while in battle (although this is less effective in the open as Karfelon's stripe is still relatively easy to see floating in the air). This decreases the damage output of most opponents as they will generally get glancing blows at the best. Sharper eyed Pokemon, or Pokemon with heightened senses that otherwise allow them to detect Karfelon have a better chance of locating and hitting the chameleon. Moves such as Earthquake are not affected by Hideaway, as they hit everything in the vicinity regardless of being able to see them or not. Unfortunately for Karfelon, having Hideaway means that any move it has to be seen for is nullified, so it loses the ability to use the moves After You, Attract, Double Team, Flash, Psych Up, Role Play, Skill Swap, Substitute, and Swagger.

Charizard Round 1: Kecleon's Sig Dissuaded Me From Reffing

The scent of freshly cut grass emanates throughout the arena. While once a calm place, it is now grounds for battle. Twin flashes of white light reveal today's combatants. From Miror's side, we have Karfelon, a male Kecleon, while Ger responds with Clementine, a female Audino.

Clementine makes the first move of this match, her pink body letting off an even pinker glow. Tapping into the mystical, magical powers of the Fae, she gathers Fairy Energy, loosing it in a huge blast of light. In front of this mini-supernova, Karfelon cannot move as his retina burns away. The blast of light slams into him, knocking him to ground and dealing a good amount of damage. Getting back to his feet, he makes his move to counter attack. His coiled tail takes on a metallic property as he rushes towards the Audino. With his vision still a bit foggy, as he spins in midair to strike Clementine with his tail, he misses by a little bit, still hitting her for a good amount of damage. She staggers, pushed back a few steps before regaining her footing. Karfelon seizes the opportunity, coating himself with Psychic Energy designed to reflect non-offensive moves back at the user. The coating of Psychic Energy is enough to allow Clementine to see him clearly enough, rushing in to plant a kiss on his cheek. As her lips near him, Karfelon makes no effort to dodge, relying on his protective coating. Fortunately for him, the energy utilizing in the move focused on addling the brain is bounced back to Clementine, leaving her a bit confused as the round ends.

Damage was about the same on both ends, with Karfelon taking slightly more. Energy use was also about the same, and Karfelon is confused.

Quick question, Magic Coat's description, although stipulating that direct contact moves are not affected, follows by saying, "The user will still take damage from the attack itself, just not take the status effect." I may be wrong in assuming this, but it sounds like even if it's a direct contact move, the status still won't occur. Just clarifying as this was the impression I was under when I ordered Magic Coat.

Sableye Round 2: Next Round Will Be Faster :3

With Clementine still herping her derp, Karfy decides to capitalize on the opportunity, once again coating his coiled tail with Steel Energy. With a quick twist in the air, he drives his tail into the Audino's body. The harsh impact slams Clementine onto the ground, but fortunately for her, simultaneously knocks her out of her confusion. She gets to her feet, shaking the dirt from her body. Karfy comes in once again to land another blow, his foot charged with massive amounts of energy. But just as he nears his target, Clementine executes a kick directed at his lower regions, causing him to lose balance and topple to the ground rather violently. Clementine immediately follows up, channeling the rest of her Fighting Energy in her left fist, bringing it down on the chameleon like Pokemon. Karfelon's essence is drained from him and passed on to Clementine, replenishing some of her lost health.

More damage to Karfelon here, leaving him around the midpoint, while Clementine sits comfortably above it. Energy use was about the same once again, and both Pokemon are still good for two, though a breather would be nice.

Bouffalant Round 3: Yeah I Kinda Lied

The Audino is first to move this round, drawing her head back briefly before blasting Normal Energy at the Kecleon, travelling via the medium of soundwaves. The relatively widespread move hits the visible stripe that is Karfelon. Karfy retaliates, tapping into Psychic Energy movepools. He emits a pulse of Psychic Energy, intending to damage any Pokemon in the vicinity sharing a type with him. A few seconds later, a shriek comes from Clementine, signalling the effectiveness of the move. With a smirk, Karfy takes a page out of Clementine's book, gather Fighting Energy into his fist. With the Audino still reeling from the brainwaves, Karfy is easily able to bring his fist into her gut, causing a large explosion and knocking both Pokemon back quite a ways. As Clementine gets to her feet, it's clear that she's come off confusion-free.

Both sides took damage, with Clementine taking most of it. Her lead on Karfy was eliminated, and she is now near her final quarter of health. Energy use was good for Clementine and she's fresh, but Karfelon used quite a bit and would like a breather.

Kecleon Round 4: Boring

Karfy kicks off this round, channeling Electric Energy into his paws. The crackling of thunder and lightning can be heard as he looses his technique, tendrils of electricity flying off him and heading towards Clementine. Drawing upon a previously seen technique, she shields herself with a reflective coating of Psychic Energy, bouncing the Thunder Wave right back at Karfelon, who quickly becomes bound by paralysis. With her foe incapacitated, Clementine applies a pulse with healing properties onto herself.

No damage to anyone here, but Clementine used a rather large amount of energy and may want a breather. Karfy feels refreshed after the one-mover, but is pretty paralyzed.

Rotom Round 5: You Order at Ass O'Clock, This Happens

With Karfy paralyzed, Clementine capitalizes on this opportunity, sending a soundwave laced with Fairy Energy at the poor Color Swap Pokemon, who can do nothing but take it like a man. Fortunately for Karfelon, the hit serves to loosen up and weaken his paralysis a good bit, enough for him to focus on his next move. Channeling Ice Energy into an orb in front of his mouth, a jagged cyan beam is launched from his mouth, nailing a good hit on the Audino, who is left with patch of ice on her chest. As he attempt to use his next technique, he finds himself locked up by paralysis, unable to move!

Breathers on both sides mean both Pokemon are refreshed, but Clementine took the larger hit of damage here. Karfelon is still paralyzed, but it's been weakened somewhat. Both Clementine and Karfelon are fast approaching critical health, having dipped a good way below the midpoint.

Apologies about the wait, I was under the impression for the last week that it was Ger's round lmao

Try Stealth Rock once more. If it doesn't get set up, try another, otherwise, Mega Kick.

Mew Round 6: Kill Eachother Already

With Karfelon still pretty locked up in paralysis, Clementine once again capitalizes on this, rushing up to him, her lips cloaked with Fairy Energy. With a final dash, she forcefully plants her lips on Karfy's face, slightly missing him courtesy of his 'invisibilty'. She feels rejuvenated afterwards, and Karfelon's paralysis weakens enough for it to fade away. The Kecleon quickly takes action, stomping the Lawn hard, summoning rocks. They float around Clementine for a while, before smacking into her and retreating into the ground again, waiting for their next victim. Angered, Clementine retaliates, her mouth set ablaze. Before Karfelon can react, a massive kanji of flames is before, searing him and dealing a heavy blow. Weakly getting to his feet, he gathers energy into his left foot, slamming it into the Audino, knocking her quite a ways back.

Both Pokemon are in critical ranges of health, with Karfelon looking ready to fall to nearly anything. Clementine will be more tired going into next round, but is somewhat good for two, while Karfelon is good for two.
