UPN PASBL: SilentReaper vs. MMS

Quote:
SilentReaper (C) vs MMS (A)
6v6
Hidden Squad
Slapstick
72 Hour DQ
Equiall 2
Lawn Arena
The grass on the turf bends lightly in the breeze as a lone figure walks across the lawn. Shaking off a chill, he continues forward warily, moving with an all too apparent uncertainty. He passes farther, and suddenly another trainer appears out of nowhere, gives some trivial dialogue, and throws a Pokeball into the air. Our original trainer smirks lightly as he mirrors his opponent, and the spheroids crack open with a blast of red lightning as they bounce off the ground.

Welcome to this match! I know you both are experienced, but just in case you're unsure of hidden squad rules, here they are:

- Both of you will PM me your full squads, your choice of your first Pokemon, and your orders. After I receive both, I will ref.

- Then Silent will order, followed by MMS, then I ref again.

And beyond that point, you know the rest. And so, I eagerly await your PMs!

Trikster: Level 2 Male Eelektrik
Signature Move: Icy Eel
Trikster is familiar with the Ice-type because of his extensive training in the frozen tundra. He has the same amount of Ice-energy as he does Electric. Ice attacks take 1.25x the amount of energy to preform. Trikster now can use Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Blizzard, and his Hidden Power is of the Ice type. He can no longer use Physical attacks that do not involve biting (Ice Fang and Crunch) and is slightly less agile due to his newly-frigid body.

Level 2 Male Pikachu
As the red light fades, two Electric Pokemon appear on the grass. On one side is Trikster the Eelektrik, who floats gently in the air as his tail weaves back and forth. Across from him on the turf appears a Pikachu, unnamed but still ready to go for it, cheeks sparking slightly as he eyes his fishy foe. The two move simultaneously, with Trikster's frozen body channeling some of its energy to his mouth, and a beam of ice erupts forward and crackles as it travels through the warmer air, while Pikachu lets out a cry as a bolt of lightning zaps towards the eel. Both attacks strike, with Trikster shaking off the blow for the most part and the crack of thunder rings in his ears, while Pikachu finds his torso covered in a thin layer of ice. Shaking himself as the thin ice breaks off, Pikachu looks up to see another beam of ice flying in his direction, and he begins to charge up some toxic fluid in his mouth, preparing to spew them all over Trikster's serpentine body. The frigid energy hits Pikachu, and he falls to the ground with a distinct thud as the ice encasing him comes in contact with the grassy surface. It shatters on impact, but leaves Pikachu shivering all over.

Trikster is doing much better than Pikachu in terms of health, but used quite a bit of energy. Both will be good for two, but Trikster definitely shouldn't keep this pace up. Silent to order.

alright Trikster, start out with a Round. Follow up by using Acid Spray, aiming for the eyes, before Pikachu can fire off Dynamic punch

Trikster's tail twitches as he prepares to create a rather large disturbance in the area with a rounding blast of sound. Not interested in his ears being assaulted, Pikachu rushes forward, jumping into the air and smacking the eel's underbelly, which fakes him out of his planned attack. Glaring at the little rodent, Trikster prepares a sphere of dripping poison, which he sprays into the eyes of the impudent upstart. Burning with the familiar hiss of acid, Pikachu cries out in pain as he attempts to rub the substance out of his eyes, his priorities shifting from attacking his opponent to preserving his eyeballs, and the round ends as Pikachu manages to flush his vision of the corrosive liquid.

Trikster and Pikachu are both pretty much in the same condition, and appreciated the breaks and should be good for two. MMS to order.

Surf ride over the acid spray to hit Trickster, and as it comes in for a crunch dynamic punch it in the face. If you are crunched and you cant move your arms for a dynamic punch toxic it in the eyes.

With a hiss of triumph, Trikster once again attempts to spray acid into the eyes of his opponent, but as the poisonous mist of spit travels towards the Pikachu, a wave of a different liquid appears. The Pikachu hops atop the water and surfs the short distance to Trikster and crashes into him. Angered by how he missed earlier, the eel is quick to attack, his large mouth opening wide as he crunches down on Pikachu, who lets out a terrified cry as the dark energy seeps through Trikster's teeth into him. Still able to move his arms somewhat, Pikachu charges up a dynamic punch, but only manages a glancing blow due to his position. Although Trikster winces in pain, he does not release his target from his grasp, and the grin can be seen in his eyes.

Trikster still holds a relatively large lead on health, as Pikachu is in the revolving door leaving his first third. Energy is still fine for both, though Pikachu won't be able to sustain the pace he's going at for long. Poison has plenty, Dark has enough for another Crunch, Water has enough for another Surf, and Fighting has enough for another Dynamic Punch (yay offtype). Silent to order.

The two electricity wielders remain in similar positions, Pikachu stills in the gaping maw of Trikster. But Pikachu has plans to add something other than his body into the Eelektrik's gullet. Beginning to charge up some toxic waste, Pikachu prepares to poison his opponent, yet just at the time of firing it off, he suddenly finds himself in a blast of frigid air, ripping into him like a blizzard. The force of the wind launches him out of the eel's mouth and rolling across the turf, tinking along thanks to being encased in a block of ice, which shatters upon the last bounce. Pikachu, slow to action, soon finds himself covered in green tendrils, and a giga drain of his energy reserves begins. Determined to survive the onslaught, Pikachu fires off an unnatural beam of psychedelic energy, signalling to his trainer that he may've spent just a little too much time with that crazy Butterfree last weekend. The pulsating stream of bug essence encompasses Trikster, who lets out an angry hiss. The leeching vines retreat, their dirty work having been accomplished.

Trikster still remains in his first third of health, and energy use was mitigated by Giga Drain. Grass has enough for a weakened version of the same attack. Pikachu is now tiring, having lost quite a bit of energy this round, and is a bit sluggish. Bug has enough for another Signal Beam. MMS to order.

Trikster goes immediately on the offensive, intending to take advantage of his worn out opponent. Two beams of familiar light blue ice crackle through the air, the first striking the Pikachu and freezing the right half of his body, encasing the red aura. The other just sends cold shivering through the already frozen parts of the rodent's body. But as the second beam makes contact, the red aura stiffens, and the Pikachu who bided his time gets his revenge. The aura snaps forward, condensing into a brilliant beam of energy, which annihilates the floating eel as it returns to sender the power of the energy used against the titular electric mouse. Rising back into the air, Trikster glares at the now nearly catatonic Pikachu, questioning how best to inflict pain on its annoying prey.

Trikster took LOLDAMAGE and is now into his final third, with Pikachu now holding a slight lead. Pikachu also managed to blast through over a quarter of his energy in one go, and adding that to already having wanted a break means Pikachu is basically less energetic than a Slaking who's sleeping. Trikster, however, is good for two. Silent to order.

(Let me just preface this with good lord you people and your energy consumption)

Looking weakly towards the sky, Pikachu eyes a falling star, desperately wishing that his exhaustion will be alleviated. But, not only does his opponent show off his swagger to distract him, Pikachu also neglected to read this part of Wish's move description:

"While this move will generally mitigate exhaustion, it will not entirely mitigate exhaustion caused by high-energy moves such as Hyper Beam or Bide."

So, Trikster eyes his still quite worn out and now angered opponent, and as Pikachu tiredly launches a wave of the ocean surf at his eely foe, Trikster responds with a veritable blizzard of freezing air, which not only significantly slows down the already rather pitiful wave but also blasts into Pikachu who is buffetted backwards. And then, following that original blizzard comes another, which also bowls over the little rodent. He stands, but with very little strength left as his Eelectrik opponent pants heavily.

Trikster is barely above Pikachu in terms of energy now, and is in desperate need of a break, but is still quite a ways from the end of his health. Pikachu appreciated the pseudo-rest it got but still is pretty worn and into critical health. Water is essentially gone. MMS to order.

Pikachu and Trikster are both worn out quite thoroughly, and despite Pikachu's plans of grandeur, it turns out the incoming beam of ice was slightly less exhausted, and the frozen rodent tips with a distinct clink as his battling tenure ends.

Pikachu is unable to battle! Silent please send out your next Pokemon!

Despite the one mover, Trkster still didn't get much of a respite. Dat sig tho.

As Pikachu disappears from the field, he is quickly replaced by the creatively named Ralts the...you get it.

Quote:
level 2 Female ralts
Immediately looking to finish off her eel opponent, her eyes glow an electric blue as she emits a wave of psychic energy, which rushes to her opponent and smacks the tired Trikster around. He glares and sibilate cry rips from his open mouth as he launches a flashing array of steel energy like a cannon towards the little Ralts, who is struck and lets out a inharmonious screech in pain. Angered, she fires off another psychic wave, causing similar results as the Eelektrik looks to be on his last legs...er, flippers.

Trikster is into critical health, but should be good for two after the lighter round. Ralts came out of the gate swinging, and is still doing alright in both departments. Steel has enough for another Flash Cannon for Trikster. MMS to order.
