Thank you for the battle and refereeing.

Praan: Level 4 Male Lucario (Uplevel)

Spoiler: show
Quote:
Lucario (Fighting/Steel): Lucario is very sensitive the energies ("aura") of Pokémon. Using a move, Lucario can close its eyes and sense the location of a Pokémon. This can be sustained indefinitely as long as Lucario's eyes are closed.
Since his birth, Praan had been living in a kingdom ruled by King Emboar and Queen Serperior, his best friend being a Larvesta being Surya. He had always had a crippling fear of the water. The children in the kingdom had a lot of freedom, and were even allowed to play in the castle grounds. However, everyone still feared and respected the rulers, due to which, they were all very polite and courteous to the princess, a Purrloin, the adoptive daughter of the two rulers, because of the fear that they shall be severely punished if they angered the princess. The princess would often join the children in their games, and everyone tried to look pleased with her presence, but the amount of people who really cared for her as a friend after all these years was debatable. It was possible that everyone had merely put up a facade in an attempt to get a good impression on the king and queen, and were more concerned about their own well-being.

However, all doubt was eventually cleared when the princess disappeared, and a rumour that she had been captured by an extremely dangerous monster spread throughout the kingdom. No one was quite sure who had spread these rumours, but this belief grew strong, reinforced by the fact that the princess was missing for several days. The rumour stated that the princess was being held at a certain location across the seas that was linked to the fear of anyone who tried to reach it. Over the years, Praan, and his friend, Surya had grown quite close to the princess, and were the only ones willing to attempt to rescue her, even though they knew the consequences. They went on an adventure to reach the location where the princess was supposedly being held captive, but were eventually separated due to an accident. The rest of Praan's journey forced him to travel through many places close to the water.

Eventually, Praan somehow managed to get to his destination, re-uniting with Surya in the process, the Larvesta apparently having taken an underground route to get there. However, when the two went to confront the princess' captor, it was revealed that the princess had hidden herself away there on purpose. She had been feeling lonely, knowing that almost no one actually cared for her, and only the ones who really did would come for her if she had been held captive, having spread the rumours with the aid of Gubbara the Drifloon. It was then that Riolu realized that he had overcome his crippling fear of water to reach there, having managed to actually come into terms with it, and even make it an ally.

Hidden Power: Flying

Special Move: Aquatic Retreat

Using significant energy, Praan shrouds himself in an aura of Water Type energy, sending part of it towards the opponent to deal moderate damage. The attack is released in the form of a middle-sized, glowing sphere. Praan uses the rest of the energy cloaking him to retreat to his Pokeball. Like Baton Pass, U-Turn, etc. this passes on certain stat boosts, and mental conditions. Praan has the Type energy to use this move twice per battle. During his adventure, Praan had forgotten how to use the moves Detect, Earthquake, Toxic, Swords Dance, Copycat, Iron Defense and Screech, no longer being able to use the moves.

Item Attached: Lucarionite

Aasha: Level 3 Female Togetic

Spoiler: show
Quote:
Togetic (Fairy/Flying): Despite their appearance, they are fast and agile fliers. Togetic can be trained only by trainers that make them happy, so Return is more powerful when used by one.
As a Togepi, Aasha was an extremely excellent runner despite her tiny limbs, having the stamina and speed to match even the fastest of Pokemon when it came to simply running. Even her Pokéathlon statistics gave her the maximum rating for both speed and durability in this field. She loved competing in the Pokéathlon competitions, where she slowly grew faster and faster over time. In the rare occasions when she actually participated in a battle, she focused on speed a lot, appearing to gain sudden boosts in speed when she performed certain motions. It was as if running fast was like an art to her. It came naturally, but still had room for improvement.

However, certain changes indicated that Aasha was about to evolve, and as widely known, a Togepi's evolution are much better at flight than movement on foot, and Aasha decided to prepare for the change as well as she can. She developed a love for jumping, growing extremely light footed. The signs of her evolution becoming surer and surer, she started to become able to maintain bursts of speeds in the air. As evolution drew closer, she only grew better.

Hidden Power: Ground

Special Move: Godspeed

Aasha cloaks herself in white, typeless energy, and flies towards her opponent at a pace rivaling Quick Attack. However, Aasha has great control over this movement, and can make even sharp turns while executing this move. She rams into the target, dealing considerable tyepless damage, then quickly retreats as far from the opponent as possible. After she uses this move, Aasha is left with a speed boost. Standard boost stipulations apply. If Aasha cannot fly for some reason, she shall simply leap as high into the air as possible and use the energy surrounding her to propel herself in the air and perform this move. This move requires severe energy to perform, and can only be used twice per match. While developing this move, Aasha forgot how to use Toxic, Double-Edge, Protect, Detect, Psyshock, Extrasensory, Morning Sun and Soft-Boiled. Upon evolution, she also loses Roost.

Pret: Level 3 Male Haunter

Spoiler: show
Quote:
Haunter (Ghost/Poison): Haunter, while more solid than its preevolution and able to solidify, is composed primarily of gas, and prefers Gaseous or Ethereal over Solid. It may also go Invisible if required. Haunter's hands can move independently of it and can move with agility and decent speed. They are able to pass through solid objects even when Haunter is Solid or Gaseous, with somewhat more freedom to pass through objects than Haunter itself, allowing them to pass through thicker walls or other objects. Haunterfs Lick attack has a 50% chance to paralyze, instead of the usual 30%. Haunter is faster than Gastly and is able to levitate as high as its trainer is tall, but it is not as fast or agile as Gengar.
Little is known about Pret's past before he became the member of the legendary Mew's squad. He is the one who taught Jal the Marshtomp a lesson about not being too proud, and had developed a close friendship with Atta Maggi the Abra. However, it was only a matter of time before Atta Maggi went missing for unknown reasons, and Pret was left devastated. He had become used to the Abra's presence, and left the squad as well, in order to search for Atta Maggi. He looked far and wide, trying to find the Psychic Type in the oddest of places. His quest took him to both famous and obscure places, a lot of which proved to be overwhelmingly dangerous for him, and he was constantly threatened.

Eventually, he was forced to accept the fact that Atta Maggi was nowhere he could find him, and he was doubtful about whether Atta Maggi was even in this world anymore. He returned to the squad, and to the rest of the squad's disappointment, Atta Maggi was not with him. The sadness made Pret extremely irritable, even when they tried to console them. One things was clear -- the loss of Atta Maggi as a friend had changed him greatly as a Pokemon. Although interactions with Jadu the Ralts calmed him down, he was still prone to bursts of anger, even in battle.

Hidden Power: Fairy

Special Training: Grief

All of Pret's Special Attacks deal 110% the damage for 110% the energy due to him grieving, and this makes secondary effects more potent, but due to his grief, Pret can no longer go invisible. Also, he barely recovers energy from Rest, is constantly restless, and is easy to anger. Furthermore, he can no longer use Hex, Nightmare, Pain Split, Payback and Confide, because he does not want anyone else to feel what he is going through. Furthermore, his grief made him forget how to use Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Counter and Perish Song. Due to being such good friends with Jadu, a Fairy Type, he is no longer resistant to the Fairy Type, but neutral to it.

Andhera: Level 3 Female Skuntank

Spoiler: show
Quote:
Skuntank (Poison/Dark): Skuntank is capable of producing very bad odors. Twice per battle it can release a terrible odor which can cause the opponent to flinch, and uses two Poison Gases worth of energy to do so.
The meaning of Andhera's name is darkness, and he has always been reliant of trickery to win him battles. Focusing on his Dark Type side more than that of his Poison Type, he uses his habits and tactics as a Dark Type to take his opponents down with the use of underhanded tactics. He is not above hitting opponents from behind, or lurking in the darkness and taking them by surprise. His sole absolution is to win, and he would do almost anything in his power to make it happen.

However, he once faced an opponent which was unaffected by his trickery, being able to see through all the illusions that he attempted to conjure up in an attempt to defeat it. The Pokemon was able to see right through Andhera's ploys, and effortlessly take him down due to how powerless Andhera was without the support of his trickery and underhanded tactics. It was then that Andhera resolved to get better at what he does. He wanted to make it so no one could endure his tricky tactics.

Hidden Power: Ice

Special Training: Surprise Attack

Due to his mastery at trickery, Andhera can use Sucker Punch twice per Pokemon, as opposed to once, and it is more likely to succeed. However, he can no longer use Torment, Hyper Beam, Explosion and Giga Impact, due to forgetting these while developing this trait.

Kamal: Level 3 Male Lombre

Spoiler: show
Quote:
Lombre (Grass/Water): Though able to swim and stay underwater for a fair amount of time, Lombre are not the best swimmers and prefer to stay near the surface of the water. Lombre are capable of restoring more health and energy then grass Pokémon normally get in the rain.

Tara: Level 3 Female Clefairy

Spoiler: show

Quote:
Clefairy (Fairy): It is less shy than a Clefable, but is still made a bit nervous from large crowds of people. It is easily intimidated. Clefairy and Clefable can jump high and far, and can use their wings to fly (not fast or well, but they can). The Clefairy family cannot see in total darkness, but they can see better than most in low-light. Due to their practice with a wide variety of moves, they rarely master any one off type and as such suffer from the Normal types limited type energy.
Tara, being a member of the Clefairy line, has moonlight stored inside her wings. All Pokemon of her species probably have the same case, which is what probably allows them to float. However, a notable fact is that most Clefairy do not really have the ability to actually take advantage of this fact. It is possible that the absence of a constant supply of moonlight is what causes them to be such shy Pokemon. Tara is not like them. Although she certainly was shy when first observed, it is no longer the case. Although it was difficult to decide a field of focus for her, due to her sheer versatility as a Pokemon, it was finally decided for her to take a more balanced route and enhance the abilities that she is already good at manipulating. Unlike most of the rest of the squad, she is not devoted to covering her weaknesses, although that has still happened as a bonus

Tara is now a cheerful and confident Pokemon of my squad, and has a motherly attitude towards the rest of the squad, being caring, but still having a firm hand reserved for when the other members of the squad misbehave.

Hidden Power: Ground

Special Training: Chandrama

Tara constantly radiates moonlight from her wings, which causes the perks that come with a Fairy Type, stated in the Type Species Characteristics, to be enhanced, and she shall always fight as if she is in a natural environment, even if the actual arena is urban. However, focusing on making this possible causes Tara to be unable to use Metronome, Mimic, Double-Edge, Mega Kick, Focus Punch, Zap Cannon, Blizzard, Thunder, Fire Blast, Role Play and Teleport. Ironically, she loses access to Moonlight, as well.

Praan, released as far away from your opponent as possible.

Jenna, let's go, Fairy Girl.

Swords Dance, then move in for a Play Rough, Swords Dancing again instead if it is out of reach.

Yeah, you wanted me to send out Machamp so that you could Aqua turn, right?

And I said instead, not also, so no three-mover.

I still kind of wanted you to send out something else. Because an uplevel and (possible) evolutionary stage advantage is good.

~Forest Clearing~. Better than the normal Lawn, by a long shot.

A flash of red light and two combatants immediately emerge, one distinctly taller than the other. Instantly adopting a defensive posture, Praan watches his opponent keenly, refusing to be dismissed by the demure smile shown by Jenna. Beginning to spin, Jenna adopts a rhythmic motion, but Praan instantly interrupts her. Slamming his feet into the ground repeatedly, he channels Ground- type energy through the ground at an incredible pace, shifting the ground beneath Jenna and causing her to stumble to the ground. Frowning as she forces herself back to her feet, she moves towards Praan, who remains rooted to the spot. His face a mixture of confusion, he begins to channel energy into his limbs, loosening them and allowing himself to become more agile, at the expense of leaving himself open to the incoming Play Rough from Jenna, with long term Agility requiring you to stay still as you use it.

Both Pokemon are roughly tied in health already, and both fresh.

Jenna, darling, cook us a meal by Flamethrowering that animal. Moving closer, and possibly dodging moves, Dynamicpunch it's lights out after Shadow Ball.

Watching his opponent wearily, Praan leaps backwards, his paws coming together as he begins to dart about. His movement is sullied by his concentration on channeling energy between his paws though, easily followed by Jenna. A small sphere, rotating rapidly, forms between Praan's paws, and with a grunt, the sphere is sent hurtling forwards. Weathering the blow admirably, Jenna opens her mouth wide, and a faint red glow cascades from within. Seconds later and the air ignites, a thick trail streaming towards Praan. The Lucario manages to move himself out of the way of a slight bit of the attack, but much of his left side is consumed by the blast, leaving him groaning in pain.

Her attack having landed, Jenna is emboldened, but Praan quickly regains his composure. Gathering his energies, he begins to force darkened streams between his palms, the purple glob quickly growing. With a grunt as he continues to move, Praan sends the sphere hurtling through the air, and it erupts over the chest of Jenna. The Mawile simply smiles. Abruptly rushing after her opponent, she curls her tiny hand into a compact fist, allowing it to erupt with vicious energies. Leaping forwards, she slams the first into the jaw of Praan, the Lucario knocked back a few feet. As he staggers back to his feet, it is evident that the Lucario is addled, his eyes misty with confusion.

Praan is just above the midpoint, while Jenna is looking a fair bit better. Both remain good for two.

Praan aimlessly wanders around for a brief second, and Jenna chuckles at her opponent's misfortune. Winding her body in tight, she begins to rapidly spin, her elegant motions limbering her muscles and granting her a greater proficiency in her attacking prowess. Praan, meanwhile, allows a faint aura of Psychic- type energy to envelop his forehead, the mistiness clearing from his eyes in the process. With a simple bark, the Lucario rushes forwards to meet Jenna as she ceases her spinning, slamming a headbutt into her and sending her bowling backwards. Forcing herself to her feet, she groans as she shakes her head, before rushing forwards to greet her opponent. Wrapping her right fist in a gentle aura of Fighting- type energy, but Praan is once again wise to her machinations. Slamming his pawed feet into the ground rapidly, he disrupts her footing, and she falls to the ground in pain. Relentless, Praan approaches the limp body of his foe, igniting his right foot in a flaming aura of energy, before bringing it crashing down into her body.

Jenna is unable to battle! Machamp-X, your final Pokemon please.

Praan is exhausted, but went untouched.

Really? Come on, man. There were plenty of indications that this was refereed in 4/6 before now. Do you want me to go through and alter it to be 4/6?

It was perfectly clear that this was 4/6. That is the only way Bulldoze + Shadow Ball + Aura Sphere could knock Mawile down to the midpoint. My orders last round were relying on this being 4/6, and it would be unfair if that were to change now.
