Biohazard Badge
Global Badge
The radioactive skull badge given out by Shadowshocker, leader of the Poison-typed Ground Zero Gym. All of Shadow's Pokemon are designed after some of Jumbaa Jookiba's 628 illegal genetic experiments, though due to general restraints Shadow has not been able to transcribe soopuh-Pokemon abilities to them. No one said anything about the badge, though, and it seems that prolonged exposure to the nasty sides of Poison has turned the badge septically sinister...
Badge Effect: Insult to Injury
If the holder's opponent's Pokemon is under at least one status, the holder's Pokemon does 15% more damage to the statused Pokemon.

Diamondhead: Level 6 Male Metagross
"Ha! I can cut through anything, so cut me some slack!"
Diamondhead was found in a quarry where the rocks were enriched with highly fortifying metals, creating special magnetic waves that drew many Beldum to the area, thereby preventing further excavation. Diamondhead was a particularly shiny Beldum, such that when the sunlight reflected off its lustrous body one can almost suffer blindness from looking at him for too long under strong sunlight. Deemed an oddity by its peers and ostracised as a result, it volunteered to join forces with Sector Shadow when the team happened to pass by.
Signature Move: Metal Mirror
Diamondhead is able to reflect beam attacks with his shiny metal body, and as such takes 15% less damage from them. However, his body is more easily damaged by Sound-type attacks as they shatter, and thus takes 20% more damage from them.

Grim: Level 5 Male Dusknoir
The leader of Shadowshocker's Squad, Grim is a wise Pokémon that knows what to do in any situation, be it a landslide or an argument between his squadmates. Grim's high level of intelligence and mastery of his own elemental abilities makes him a dark horse in battle.
Signature Move: Skull and Cross Beam
Grim fires a powerful beam of Ghost energy in the shape of a skull-and-crossbones symbol (but still the same size as a normal, fully charged Hyper Beam), capable of causing major damage or destruction. It takes a large amount of energy, and leaves Grim very drained for a period immediately afterwards. Grim may try to attack during this time, but success is less likely. Grim is unable to use Ghost-type attacks for five turns after a full-charge Skull and Cross Beam. An alternative to this is a "quick-charge" Skull and Cross Beam, which deals damage akin to 1/2 of Ice Beam, but uses less energy and no recharge time. In reality, this attack can run the gamut from minimal charge, which would do quick, but only decent damage, to the fully charged version, which deals major damage. Depending on the charge and how much it was hit by Skull and Cross Beam, the Pokemon Skull and Cross Beam is targeted at will have a 0% to 20% chance of being scared and hence unable to attack (0% at low charge, 20% at full charge) for four turns at most. Larger Pokemon such as Gyarados and Steelix are 20% less likely to be affected this way. Grim can't use Skull and Cross Beam for more than once at full charge or twice at quick charge each battle.

Zapster: Level 5 Male Electivire
A playful, brash member of Shadowshocker's Squad. Zapster has been known to go out and play in the midst of lightning storms, and can absorb lightning strikes to the extent of hurting himself.
Signature Move: Storm Blessing
Zapster lets fly a blast of electricity into the sky. The same blast comes down in the form of a lightning bolt onto his opponent one to three turns later (similar to Future Sight), shocking them severely. Before the attack comes, rumblings begin to echo from the sky and a brilliant flash of light may occur. Storm Blessing uses up as much energy as Future Sight and also does as much damage as Future Sight. Zapster can't use this attack more than once each battle and he can't use this attack while battling in indoor arenas.

Wukong: Level 5 Male Infernape
Bio: The seventh member of Sector Shadow's non-Gym Squad, Wukong the Monferno was a much anticipated operative of Shadowshocker (disregarding what most people have to say about Chimchar). Realistically speaking, Wukong's name doesn't have much to say about his ability in relation to the mythical character he was named after, but Shadow taught him a signature move to use that was special nonetheless.
Signature Move: Knuckle Boom
Wukong focuses energy into his fist like he would for a Focus Punch, but instead of Fighting-type energy he gathers Fire-type energy. When he's done charging, he punches his fist forward in front of him, releasing a forward explosion of intense heat in a fashion similar to Heat Wave. This attack does as much damage as a Focus Punch, requires the energy of Focus Punch and Fire Punch to use, and can be used twice per battle. The intense heat also has a 20% chance of burning the opponent. However, the damage and likelihood of
burn from this attack get weaker the further the opponent is, as the heat dissipates.

Ripjaws: Level 5 Male Feraligatr
"Sorry. Just needed to moisturise."
Having spent a majority of his time in the water, more so than others of his kind, Ripjaws had a stronger affinity for water even after he was forced to look for food ashore after his family's private lagoon could no longer provide after a shifting in the prey populations. Capture has not seemed to change this characteristic of Ripjaws, who over time tends to show signs of discomfort when he isn't in a body of water.
Signature Move: Hydro Bio
Ripjaws has more experience underwater and as a result, his Water-type attacks are 10% more powerful and he is 10% speedier in performing attacks when in water. However, he experiences greater discomfort in Sunny Day, similar weather or in arid, dry arenas, more so than other Water-types.

Way Big: Level 5 male Golurk
"I'm not just big; I'm WAY BIG!"
Way Big is a particularly happy, bouncy, energetic specimen of his kind, rendering him clumsy yet endearing. In order to protect his quarry, Way Big figured out how to increase his bodily mass through the application of cursed energy and clay constructs.
Signature Move: I'm Way Big!
Way Big has learned Growth in exchange for Iron Defence.

Black Belt (5 SP) - This Token increases the power of Fighting type moves by 10%. It causes the move Fling to deal Fighting type damage if it is thrown.
Currently Attached to: Gyatso: Level 6 Male Electivire (Uplevel)

Reaper's Token (10 SP) - This attachable item can only be given to Ghost type pokémon. If the pokémon wearing this token has the ability to change in to the Invisible state, they are able to do so for three turns instead of the usual two and enjoy perfect invisibility where they might usually have left an icy glimmer or some other give away. If the selected pokémon does not already possess the ability to change in to the Invisible state, they gain the ability to do so for two turns, leaving a slight give away when they do so such as the glint of an eye or the glow of an ectoplasmic body. Ghosts wearing this token are also granted an increased ability to trick their opponents. This item causes the move Fling to deal Ghost type damage if it is thrown. This token is available only during the Halloween 2013 sale and may be purchased by trainers up to once.
Currently Attached to: Eska: Level 5 Genderless Rotom

Harvester's Token (10 SP) - The Harvester's Token denotes one's prowess in caring for and farming the bounties of nature. It can be attached to Grass type pokémon only and greatly enhances their natural abilities. Rain will heal them by a mild amount each round, sunlight will regenerate them mild energy each round, healing moves cost half their usual energy cost and draining moves are much more efficient. This item causes the move Fling to deal Grass type damage if it is thrown. This token may be purchased during the week long Thanksgiving 2013 event and may be purchased up to one time per trainer.
Currently Attached to: Skoochy: Level 5 Male Ludicolo.

Gyatso: Level 6 Male Electivire (Uplevel)
Electivire (Electric): Electivire is able to use its tails to channel Electric attacks. Direct contact with the foe using its tails will give a slight boost in the chance of paralysis for the attack and will make paralysis in the contact area far more likely.
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
Biography: Cuddly, electrifying, and playful, Gyatso is great asset to my squad, and a valuable friend. His favorite past time is to be a drag queen, pursuing his dream in the areas of pagents. His dream is to one day be the winner of RuPokemon's Drag Race. He wants to be a Drag Queen Superstar, hunty. To do so, he has mastered the art of of eleganza. He uses the element of ice to embody a beautiful physique, creating all of his padding from ice. He found that the most efficient way to do so is to create a beam of ice rather than punching his body with ice. His source of inspiration were a pack of Froslass, who has a perfect feminine silhouette to mimic. He kept observing them and eventually learned how to use one of their icy tactics. Froslass did not deem him worthy of her eleganza, but she did find Extravangaza in his icy flair. To make Froslass gag with Gyatso’s beauty, he had to go train in the icy cold mountains of Snowpoint city. There he was taught Eleganza by the amazing mountainous Abomasnow. With the Eleganza Extravangaza that these wonderful ice creatures have taught him, he is now more capable of handling ice energy.

Special Training: Eleganza extravaganza! [IC]
Gyatso is ice familiar and learned how to use Icy Wind, Ice Beam, and Blizzard. He can no longer use Ice punch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Mega Punch, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Power Up Punch, and Electro Web.
Hidden Power: Fire
Attached Token: Black Belt Token

Eska: Level 5 Genderless Rotom
Rotom (Electric/Ghost): Rotom is considered permanently in 'plasma' state, which counts as the Gaseous state, and cannot achieve the solid, ethereal or invisible states. However, it can pass through walls in this 'plasma' state and is able to occupy objects for a much longer time than other Ghosts. While occupying an object on the battlefield, it will take full damage from attacks if that object is hit with attacks. Despite these abilities, Rotom cannot stay in walls, floors, or other significant surfaces for any longer than the typical ghost. Despite being locked out of the physical state, it takes only 10% extra damage from special moves. Rotom is very fast and able to turn corners sharply and instantly. It can levitate to about waist height of its trainer. Rotom may change 'formes' and bond itself more permanently with an object, thus changing its moves, abilities, typing and appearance (see Ghost Information for more details).
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
[Ghost]: Ghosts are resistant to attacks which induce confusion or other mental effects and are immune to telekinetic-based Psychic moves if not in the solid state (though will still take damage from Psychic moves regardless of state). They cannot be poisoned. Ghosts fight more enthusiastically at night and can see in the dark, though they are not put off by fighting in the day. Their fear inducing attacks are more effective than those used by other pokémon. Ghost-types take neutral damage from Normal, Fighting and typeless attacks in the ASB, as opposed to in the games, but some may change their state in order to evade certain moves. See Ghost Pokémon Information for details on states.
Biography: Eska traveled to the spirit world. In this environment, he met Girantina, master of the shadows, and fear. Giratina used a simple roar of his voice to dispel Eska back into its own reality. When Eska reemerged in the real world, he carried with him the knowledge the might Girantina surged upon him. Combining both of his type, Eska creates a powerful connection with his eyes. It’s apparently very irritating to witness, leaving the opponent vulnerable for the taking and unable to escape.

Special Training: Trickery [Various]
Eska can now use Mean Look and Hypnosis. The latter twice per battle.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Attached Token: Reaper's Token

Chung: Level 5 Genderless Rotom [Fan Forme]
Rotom [Fan Forme] (Electric/Flying): In this Forme, Rotom has possessed an electric table fan, having bonded with its electric motor. This forme is only slightly larger than Heat Rotom, and is the fastest, rivaling the unbonded Rotom in speed. Its levitation is more akin to flight, using a combination of its natural levitation and propulsion generated by its fan to move very fast through the air with a high flight ceiling of nearly twenty feet. However, due to the limited turning ability of the fan, it is unable to turn sharply at even moderate speeds. While unlike its other Formes, it has no protected charging site, it is able to charge in front of its fan and use a burst of air to propel the attack forward. This gives it a higher speed, making it more difficult to evade and easier to surprise with. In this Forme alone, Rotom is capable of using Air Slash.
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
[Flying]: Flying Pokémon, with a few exceptions, all fly. Those who cannot are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation.
Biography:Silph Co. are re-branding the uses of Rotom Fan. While permanently infusing the spirit of a rotom into their top of the line fan appliances, they are creating fans that can generate a variety of wind features unnatural to most of its kind. As a consequence, Chung can spark up different types of wind but he does consume more electricity when doing so if they are not a native flying setting.

Special Training: The Power of the Winds [Various]
Chung can use Razor Wind, Tailwind, Icy Wind, Fairy Wind, and Leaf Tornado. The latter three can only be used with enough respective off type for two uses each with an additional 10% cost of energy to perform. Furthermore, he is permanently bonded to his fan appliance. In addition, Chung can no longer use Thunderbolt, Double Team, Telekinesis, Electro Ball, Dark Pulse, Return, and Hex.
Hidden Power: Rock

Deska: Level 5 Male Rotom [Wash Forme]
Rotom [Wash Forme] (Electric/Water): In this Forme, Rotom has possessed a washing machine, having bonded with its electric motor. This is the second largest forme, being rather bulky. While it can levitate, it has a low flight ceiling of only three feet and moves primarily through erratic hopping and short bursts. While fairly slow, it is relatively agile, allowing it to make short, quick evasive movements. In this Forme, Rotom has two firing points. The first and primary is the pipe at its side, from which it fires its Hydro Pump. Attacks fired from the pipe allow for faster firing and better aim. The second is from its door. This allows it to generate energy attacks from a protected point, but will leave it vulnerable for a short time when firing the attack. Attacks that hit the inner portion of the appliance will deal slightly more damage than normal. In this Forme alone, Rotom is capable of using Hydro Pump.
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
Biography: The old abandoned chateau. Deska was left alone to do all the chores around the home. To increase efficiency he figured he should pick up better tricks around the home. Some tough stains on white clothing? Clearly he needs to increase the water temperature. Washing colored clothing? He needs to make sure water is super cold and precise so the colored clothing remain as good as new. He figured out that he could improve all his day to day tasks simply by applying himself a bit more at his efficiency. The appliance he picked also seemed to have lighter parts, making it easier for him to maneuver all the settings withing the washing machine. He prided himself in being part of the energy star efficient washing machines.

Special Training: Perma-Bonded for Efficiency [Various]
Deska is permanently bonded to the washing machine, but he can levitate steadily off the floor as oppose to hopping. He can now use the moves Whirlpool, and Ice Beam. He can use Ice beam twice per battle. He can no longer use Telekinesis, Thunderbolt, Charge, Double team, Frustration, Psych up, and Pain split.
Hidden Power: Water

Skoochy: Level 5 Male Ludicolo
Ludicolo (Water/Grass): Though able to swim and stay underwater for a fair amount of time, Ludicolo are not the best swimmers and prefer to stay near the surface of the water. Ludicolo are capable of restoring more health and energy then grass Pokémon normally get in the rain.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Grass]: Grass types live anywhere that can support vegetation, though most prefer temperate to tropical climates. Grass types enjoy both bright sun and rain. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls.
Biography: Skoochy needed inspiration from fellow grass pokemon. One day, a Tangrowth gave him a pep talk, and trained with him in the ways of the ancients. After months of training, he was able to learn from the intelligent Tangrowth the use of a singular move.

Special Training: Ancient Power [RK]
Skoochy is capable of using Ancient Power thrice per match.
Hidden Power: Ground
Attached Token: Harvester Token

Yakone: Level 5 Male Greninja
Greninja (Water/Dark): Greninja is the fastest and most agile member of the Froakie line, able to move as if it is teleporting, making it better at evading attacks, and easily cling to walls or hide in dark corners. It has an extremely keen sense of aim, and is able to reliably hit targets with projectiles even at a significant distance. Its water attacks have a "sharp" quality to them, making them more likely to break through hard objects and causing them to lose less momentum and power when breaking through screens or other shields.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Dark]: Dark types can see in the dark. They prefer to fight at night, however light does not adversely affect them.
Biography: Frogs are really good at sensing changes in pressure within the atmosphere or floor. Yakone has learned to master the detection of weak points within the soil to send a huge shock wave that with enough force, it manages to heavily shake up his opponent.

Special Training: The Ground has Faults [GD]
Yakone can use Earthquake with the offtype energy to use it twice per battle.
Hidden Power: Electric

Eska, start us off.

The desolate expanse of Ground Zero expands eerily outwards, the reactors spewing noxious gas into the air above. Piping whines, sending shearing noises through the air, but none of these distract from the more pertinent happenings. Faint, approaching with every second, footsteps permeate the surroundings. Without warning, two figures come to stand over the reaches of the hazardous wasteland. One, a wizened veteran of the League, dons a faded lab coat with a flourish, his wide grin and fervent laughter telling. The other, a fresh faced challenger, gears up, a look of trepidation deep set into his expression.

Our intrepid challenger is the first to procure his Pokeball. A faded yellow tint coats the top of the two toned orb, and with a simple name called into the air, the orb is released. Carving it's way towards the concrete of Ground Zero, the orb clanks loudly as it touches ground, splitting at the seam and accommodating a bright red flow of energy. Within moments, a plasmatic beast stands to attention, eagerly flitting around. With a brusque guffaw, our resident mad scientist calls upon his own demon. A black portal opens up on the concrete of the arena, and a single yellow eye pierces the darkness. Slowly, surely, Grim removes himself from his confines, the ominous aura surrounding him permeating the very core of Ground Zero.

The two ghost slowly begin to circle one another, each feinting here and there, trying to feel their way to an opening. The tension between them rises, before one finally breaks. Opening his arms wide, the vicious mouth on the stomach of Grim opens wide, the intimidating sight causing Eska to shudder wildly. As the show of force continues, Grim allows a faint blue aura to well beneath the piercing yellow of his eye, which focuses intently on Eska. Too late does the Rotom realise the reasoning behind the sudden intimidatory show. Her body quivers with fear as her connection to her Pokeball is severed forcibly, a faint blue aura not unlike the one consuming Grim's eye flickering into existence around her. The machinations of the scientist had secured a definite advantage, but Eska refuses to be beaten so soon.

Eyes narrowed, Eska begins to concentrate intently on the air around her. Faint quivering signifies the arrival of something quite not of this world. A mere moment later, and thick tendrils of shadowy energy begin to coalesce, wrapping around one another as Eska guides them gleefully. Conducting the construction readily, the Rotom is presented with a huge globular orb within seconds, and Grim becomes immediately wary. Without warning, the orb churns forwards, cleaving through the air towards Grim. Grunting, the orb slams into the body of Grim, causing him to shrink away somewhat as the energies dance across his body. Shaking his head, he regains his composure, before opening the mouth on his stomach once more. A gentle gusting emanates from within the void, before a blast of tinged violet wind rushes out to greet Eska. Panicking, the Rotom dips into the concrete of Ground Zero, allowing most of the oncoming storm to gust over her harmlessly, although it becomes apparent she sustained some damage as she rematerialises moments later.

Eska holds the early lead, but neither are down yet. Both remain fresh.

Given neither of the combatants are permanently solid, and hence will be able to bypass any reasonable paralysis, I'm going to go with 'not happening'. A Sableye? Yeah, you can probably paralyse that. Not these two though.

With our unearthly combatants slowly circling one another, it is Eska who is the first to seize the initiative. Spinning in place, she moves her plasmatic body through the air with a rapid pace, her spiraling motions summoning a strange wind to blow throughout Ground Zero. Without warning, the air becomes dyed with a deep purple energy, and Grim convulses as his body is enveloped by the gusting blows, his shuddering intensifying as he moves closer the source of the gusting strike. Singular eye frowning with distaste as his fist is drawn back, the ominous Dusknoir looms over the much smaller Eska. With a sudden flare, Eska's line of sight is drawn to Grim's raised left hand, shrouded with a churning aura of blackened energy. With a start, she moves to avoid the blow, but yelps with surprise as Grim's right hand comes crashing around, the aura surrounding it causing her to groan in agony even as the physical strike passes through her.

Darting away following the blow, Eska's eyes narrow as she licks her wounds. Pride damaged by the sudden blow from her opponent, the Rotom begins to grumble an unintelligible rebuttal, before concentrating on assaulting the foe before her. Becoming completely still, Eska allows herself to become consumed by a writhing black cloak, her rage manifested into pure energy. Small eyes glimmering from behind the blanketing blackness, Eska chuckles with a high pitched drone as she abruptly condenses the energy, before sending a pulsing blast towards Grim. Grunting as the attack washes over him, Grim falters for the briefest of seconds, but the momentary weakness emboldens Eska by a fair degree. Grinning widely, the Rotom begins to flit around her much larger opponent, much to the chagrin of Grim. Tensing his right hand, he forms a neat fist, before once again allowing a veil of energy to pulse through it. Glowing with a dull brown colour this time, Grim brings his fist crashing towards Eska once again ... only to end up groaning in frustration a second time as his attack billows through the plasmatic ghost, slamming into the concrete beyond.

Eska took a fairly low amount of damage this round, her lead over Grim extending by some way. Grim is approaching the midpoint already, not far from, but both remain good for two and ready to do some damage.

That will honestly not protect you from a Wide Spread Ominious Wind. Shadow Ball when he shows himself after the pain, conveniently to interrupt his calm mind. However, if he did not reveal his position, watch out for his faint glint as you unleash another wide spread Ominious Wind.

With his body pulsing with aching, Grim begins to slowly move backwards, his body vanishing into nothingness. His eye is the last thing to disappear, the rustic yellow beacon never once dropping gaze with Eska. Shuddering, the ominous sight etched within her mind, Eska begins to grumble to herself, locating her opponent proving a trouble. Pouting, she begins to rapidly rotate in place, her increasing turbulent motions summoning a gusting wind throughout the arena. Without warning, the air begins to shimmer with a raging purple blanket, and Grim audibly cries out as his body is battered by the assault. As he continues to shudder from the blow, Grim gradually fades back into the plain of seeing, and Eska narrows her eyes as she locates her target.

Rumbling noises begin to echo from within Grim, his rage evidently building. His singular eye becomes stressed, venom dripping from his expression, but he somehow manages to hold himself back. Clasping his hands together, he begins to meditate on the battle, slowly purging his mind of all extenuating emotions and allowing himself to be brought onto a much calmer plain of mind. As he opens his eyes, his entire aura radiates a much more certain figure, but Eska ignores the subtle change. Opening her mouth wide, she allows the plasmatic bolts beneath her main body to begin spiraling around as she accrues ghostly purple energies from the surrounding air, crafting a writhing sphere before her. Locking eyes with Grim, she chuckles as she hurls the orb towards him, and Grim roars with a mixture of anger and pain as the energy erupts over his body.

Grim is looking fairly beaten up now, but he's looking pretty fresh. Eska remains looking pretty healthy, but she's panting lightly.

With Eska sensing the nearing kill, the Rotom begins to shudder erratically, her laughter reaching an ominous crescendo. Without warning, she allows her body to writhe dangerously, a thick cloak of bubbling black energies engulfing her cackling form. Grim watches on wearily, his singular eye clearly frustrated by the machinations of the smaller ghost. Eska simply continues to lose herself amidst her rage, the writhing mass around her abruptly breaking to an apex. Condensing abruptly around her mouth, the energy pulses forwards, bathing Grim in the pitch waves. Groaning, Grim fights against the sudden blast of energy, throwing his arms out before him in an effort to force the energies off to one side. As the blasting dies down, the Dusknoir is left looking fairly scuffed up, barely able to retain his imposing form.

Torrid grumblings are sent rumbling through the arena as Grim looks over Eska. Sighing to himself, he allows his quivering eye to fill with a burning red energy, before slamming his hands together. As the clap rings through Ground Zero, a blast of red light follows, bathing the surroundings in a dull red glow. Eska begins to shake uncomfortably as her body suddenly becomes much more tangible, the sensation foreign to her. A guffawing boom emanates from Grim as he watches the clear uncertainty of Eska, before he opens the mouth adorning his stomach once again. Calling upon the powers of the void, he quickly creates a writhing purple sphere, calling it into his hand as he draws his arm back. Panicking, Eska tries to phase through the concrete beneath her, but her expression drops into that of pure horror as she is rendered unable, and Grim chuckles as the launched orb erupts over his opponent's body.

Grim dipped just into critical health this round, with Eska nearing the midpoint. Eska is refreshed, while Grim remains good for two.

ST Agility to dodge the concentrated burst of cold. Use that brief moment as he pants to finish him with Shadow Ball.

With Grim tenaciously hanging onto consciousness, his entire demeanour betraying weakness, the Dusknoir rears up to his full height. Despite his wounds, his striking image poses an indomitable spirit, and he opens his arms wide. Slowly bringing them inwards, he places both hands over the mouth of his stomach, allowing sparks of cyan energy to leap along the surface of his blackened body and into the void. His body begins to quiver as a chilling aura is exuded from the mouth, and without warning, it ruptures open. A gusting blast of freezing wind and sleet rushes to greet Eska, but the Rotom simply chuckles to herself. With a simple manoeuvre, she darts to the left, arcing around the concentrated blast and into safety. Panting, Grim turns to face his foe, opening the mouth of his stomach once more, but he is too slow. The flash of horror in his eyes tells the entire story, and Eska spins demurely as she hurls a raging orb of darkened purple energies towards Grim.

Grim is unable to battle! Shadowshocker, your next Pokemon please.

Eska remains good for two, and went untouched this round.

Recalling the fallen body of Grim with a eerie expression on his face, our resident mad scientist crosses his arms, a much more serious demeanour sinking into his conduct. With a grunt of a single name, a huge ring of fire suddenly erupts from the concrete of Ground Zero. The spiraling vortex shifts this way and that, before violent screeches begin to emanate from amidst the roaring flames. Without warning, the Monkey King himself arises from the flames. Wukong stands to full attention, the flaming crown above his head searing the surroundings with a raging intensity, his lithe figure poised for battle.

Holding his arms wide, Wukong slowly begins to consider the opponent before him, before grunting. Drawing his fists in front of his face, he holds a guard as he begins to gingerly edge forwards, drawing his lips over his fangs and baring them with a low growl. Eska shudders as the dangerous foe approaches her, and her eyes suddenly widen with surprise. Thrusting his right hand forwards in a fluid motion, Wukong sends a small sphere of burning Fighting- type energy sailing through the air, with Eska releasing a demure gasp of pain as the construct ruptures over her body. Reeling away from the strike, Eska locks eyes with her new bipedal foe, allowing her eyes to billow with a faint blue aura. Wukong, entranced by the sight, is slowly sucked into her pace, and his body begins to quiver as he feels his connection to his Pokeball shut off entirely.

Leaping backwards, the unsettling sensation crawling across the surface of Wukong's skin clearly disgruntles the great Infernape. Shaking from side to side, he locks his gaze upon Eska, an unquenchable fury brimming beneath the surface of his steely gaze. Raising his head back, Wukong allows the fiery crown to begin to burn with an even more intense flame, his clamped shut mouth expelling thin wisps of seething anger. With a thrust of his head, Wukong expels a triad of thin flames, which slam into the ground beneath Eska. Immediately, noting happens, before a huge torrent of flame engulfs the tiny Rotom. Screaming, Eska writhes amidst the column of crimson, darting forwards to escape the seething pain. Blinking, she frowns intently, before allowing her entire body to become consumed by a thick veil of electromagnetic energy. With a simple motion, she hurls a small sphere of the veil towards Wukong, grinning as it strikes the Infernape in the chest. As Wukong turns to retaliate, he stops briefly, perplexed. Where Eska once hovered, Chung now grins widely.

Eska has dipped beneath the midpoint but will enjoy the break within her Pokeball. Chung is entirely fresh, while Wukong remains fresh.

Rise into the Air as you unleash a Razor Wind. Then chug out an Air Slash.

"Rock Climb to dodge the Wind, and jump to latch behind him such that his fan is facing away from you. Then crush his solid form with the force of a direct contact Earthquake."
