So before we get started, we'll need to restart from Shuckle's squad post. Unless I'm missing something, according to the current list of level acquisitions, Metang is a TL3 acquisition, meaning that since Shuckle is only TL1, it's impossible for him to have. So unless I've completely overlooked something, I need Shuckle to repost his squad and starting two Pokemon without including Metang.

Pain Gain & Statisa to the field! Time to make less sucky orders!

Pain Gain use Shadow Ball and then zip towards that Ralts with a Phantom Force.

Statisa use fire of Pin Missels at the ralts as you move in for a close up Signal Beam. Make sure to fire the latter at the eyes of your target.

Nora, use Psychic Wave to blow the Pin Missiles back towards Statisa. Whenever you get a clear shot, use Shadow Ball on Pain Gain.

Lady Macbeth, use Psychuck to throw Statisa to space right as she charges her Signal Beam. Then use Shadow Ball on Pain Gain.

Round 1: Mandatory Fun

This title is not at all influence by what I'm listening to right now. Anyways, it seems Shuckle's looking to specialize in Psychic times, and to combat his Ralts and Baltoy, Zelphon releases his Banette and Joltik, going straight for the type advantage. Quick off the mark, Pain Gain gathers some shadows from out of nowhere, gathering them into an orb, and launching it at Lady Macbeth, who takes the hit, awaiting the moment to enact her orders. Just a moment afterwards, the small fry Statisa shoots a volley of small, but sharp, pins directed at the Ralts. Nora darts in front though, releasing a blast of Psychic energy, pushing back the needles and making them drop to the ground, while the energy continues and sends Joltik rolling back, even with the reduced hit. Lady Macbeth then waits to enact the next part of her while Nora searches for Pain Gain, who seems to have vanished. Without warning, the Banette reappears, slamming into Lady Macbeth while imbued with ghostly energy, sending the small Ralts flying back. Now locked on to its foe, Nora plays copycat and gathers a purple ball just like Pain Gain's, striking the Banette with it, making her back off from the strength of it. By now, both Lady Macbeth and Statisa have gotten to their feet. Statisa begins scuttling forward, looking to get closer before firing her attack. She starts charging it, a multicolor glow emitting from her mouth, and Lady Macbeth sees her chance. Her eyes glow blue, as does Statisa's body, and the tiny spider is sent flying backwards just as she frantically releases her attack. It sails over her targets head as she hits the ground hard and rolls for a bit before getting back to her feet, hurting, but not too badly.

Pixel Summary

Both Lady Macbeth and Nora have about a half a tank of Ghost energy left, and they're still fresh. Nore remains untouched, while the Ralts is already into her final third.

Pain Gain and Statisa are fresh and good to go as well, but Pain Gain is into his second third of health. The combatants are arranged in a diamond with, from an overhead perspective, Statisa on top, Pain Gain on the right, Lady Macbeth on the bottom, and Nora to the left. Shuckle?

Wow my original orders were much better why did I decide differently.

Nora, Rock Slide on Statisa and then Shadow Ball on Pain Gain.

Lady Macbeth, Light Screen. Then, try to aim your Hypnosis attack so it hits both of them.

Pain Gain use Taunt on ralts & Astonish on the baltoy.

Statisa Bounce out of the way of that Rock Slide latching on to the baltoy's head. Next let loose a Signal Beam right into it's eyes.

This is a lot more fun then singles.

Round 2: Killing is Bad

Nora looks to its left, locking onto Statisa, and conjuring up a large boulder. It gives the rock a strong hit, sending many smaller stones flying at the itsy bitsy spider. Quickly coating herself in Flying energy, she performs an impressive jump, bouncing right over the stones, and landing on Nora's face. While this occurs, Lady Macbeth attempts to shield herself by creating a defensive screen, but she's interrupted by Pain Gain shouting at her, insulting her family heritage, calling her fat, all that good stuff. This makes her furious, causing her to forget anything that isn't teaching that good for nothing slob a lesson. Now back to where the action is, Statisa is latched onto Nora's face, and another multicolored is radiating from her mouth. Soon, she launches a point blank beam right into Nora's eyes. However, it only hinders its vision in that direction since Baltoy has eyes all around its head. In fact, these eyes allow it to see Pain Gain running at it from what would be a surprising angle. With fast reflexes, it turns, putting the side of its head with Statisa between itself and the Banette. The spider tries to scuttle out of the way just as Pain Gain strikes with a weaker attack, dealing damage to both his partner and his foe, forcing the former to fly off of Nora's body. Grateful to be free, Nora uses the last of its Ghost reserves, pulling together even more tendrils of shadow. The sphere connects with Pain Gain, who droops after the initial sting goes away, obviously feeling very hurt from the attack.

Pixel Summary

Lady Macbeth is completely fresh and still under the effects of Taunt. Nothing changed for her. Nora, on the other hand, is into its second third of health and energy, of which the Ghost part is gone. She would enjoy having a breather.

Pain Gain doesn't need a breather yet, but it'd be nice if he got one. He's just outside of critical health while his partner is in her first third still. She's enjoy a break slightly more than him. Pain Gain, Statisa, and Nora are all close to each other, while Lady Macbeth is off to the side. Zelphon?

Nora, use Light Screen.

Lady Macbeth, use Shadow Sneak on Pain Gain to clear the Taunt, then quickly set up a Light Screen yourself. Then Heal Pulse on Nora.

Round 3: Move Errata

Going defensive, the group close together all back away as Nora and Statisa both create shiny screens in front of them, the Baltoy's being much larger than the tiny Joltik's. Pain Gain floats over behind the spider and his shield, which will do absolutely nothing to protect the much larger Pokemon. While these defensive maneuvers occur, Lady Macbeth gets a bit closer before shooting some Ghost energy into the ground, sending a shadow over towards where her two foes are. Without warning, it erupts from the ground, striking Pain Gain for some damage, but not enough to satisfy the good lady's anger. Statisa and Pain Gain enact their next orders almost simultaneously, the former shaking violently as a couple widespread red waves expand outward, while the latter spits out a wind laced in purple energy. The two attack batter Nora's light screen, leaving it very cracked and beaten, but not completely shattered. On the other hand, both attacks connect with Lady Macbeth, who's still too furious with Pain Gain to go defensive at all. The excruciating sound waves cause her to cringe, but the super effective Ghost energy flowing throughout the gust proves to be too much for her, as she falls to the ground.

Lady Macbeth is unable to continue! Next Pokemon from Shuckle!


Pixel Summary

Nora appreciated the break, and didn't take any damage. The Light Screen can absorb a small amount of damage before it'll shatter.

Statisa's Light Screen is in perfect condition, but she needs a breather badly and is in her second third of energy. Psychic is gone. Her partner is into critical health, but is feeling fresher.

Pain Gain use Phantom Force on that Baltoy, once you're done take advantage of how distracted that bat is by going invisible.

Round 4: Confusion

Taking the place of our fairy lady is a small bat by the name of Hester, heart plastered on face and all. Sadly for him, the first thing he hears from his trainer greatly confuses him. How can he hit the Light Screen guarding Statisa while also hitting his other foe? In this moment of indecision, Pain Gain vanishes into thin air once more. As this happens, Nora pummels the ground with her bottom, causing a couple cracks in the ground in a line leading straight to the tiny spider. Suddenly, a column of Ground energy erupts from underneath her, bypassing the screen and striking her for a full hit. Nora, however, doesn't get to enjoy its success for very long. Out of nowhere, Pain Gain reappears, hurtling right into the Baltoy and sending him spinning to the side. On the other side of things, Hester has decided that since Pain Gain's vanished he'll go for the screen. As he fires a barrage of silvery balls at Statisa, the Joltik shoots a fairly large ball of electricity at him. Both attacks connect, the orbs shattering the barrier and hitting Statisa while her attack partially connects with the bottom of Hester's body, her aim slightly off due to fatigue. At this time, Pain Gain slips into the invisible state, vanishing from sight. Sadly for him, he remains solid, thus not escaping the supersonic waves Woobats use to locate things. Hester quickly zones in on his target, gathering the energy required for a move we've seen many times this battle. He fires the dark ball into seemingly nothing, but suddenly a screech rings out as Pain Gain becomes visible once more, falling to the ground.

Pain Gain is unable to battle! Next Pokemon from Zelphon!


Pixel Summary

Statisa is into her second third of health, but enjoyed the breather. Light Screen is gone, and she's below the midpoint for energy.

Hester didn't take too much damage, and he's still fresh. Ghost is at half. Nora is very close to critical health, but enjoyed her breather as well.

Lukna, time to make your debue. Use Dark Pulse on the baltoy, twice if needed otherwise go for the bat instead.

Joltik use Thunderbolt on the bat & Thunder Wave on it as well.

Nora, get ready.

Light Screen Ram to charge into Zorua and absorb the Dark Pulse. Get as close as you can to Joltik as well, but don't eat 2 dark pulses just for the privilege of doing so because you might faint. Explosion. You done good hon.

Hester, use Tailwind, while you have the initiative, to speed up Nora's progress. Then use Magic Coat to block Thunder Wave.

Round 5: Offense > Defense

Zekna, a fox with a type advantage, takes the place of Pain Gain on Zelphon's side of the field as this round gets underway. Quick off the mark, Zekna opens her mouth as a small dark orb is revealed while her partners body begins cackling with electricity. They release their attacks just as Hester shoots a greyish blue energy skyward and Nora creates a thin screen in front of it. Lukna's dark wave crashing into the screen as Nora hovers straight towards it, now with a strong wind blowing at its back. Hester isn't so lucky though, and his whole body is shocked by the arching electricity. Nora continues on its path for Lukna's head, and rams the wall right into the fox. However, it simply breaks on impact, the Zorua being immune to the energy it's made out of. As Nora takes off to get to a position between her two enemies, Lukna simply repeats her last maneuver, blasting a wave of darkness at the Baltoy. It consumes it briefly, and when the blackness clears away, it reveals Nora on the ground. Meanwhile, Statisa shoots a couple small tendrils of shocking electricity towards Hester. As they attempt to bind him, he covers himself in a pink coating. It reflects the attack right back at Statisa, causing the electricity to bind the tiny spider, leaving her a little paralyzed, though not as severely as it could be.

Nora is unable to battle! Final Pokemon from Shuckle!

Hester would enjoy a break, and he's into his second third of health.

Lukna is untouched and still fresh, but Statisa is a bit paralyzed, but can go for two.
