Pumello is essentially Rock with Pool, right?

Also thanks for taking the match, Kin. Good luck, EG! Looks like you're gunning for Electric gym, eh? Maybe I'll get a taste of that.

Thanks for reffing this Kin. Good luck phoopes!

Reaper's Token (10 SP) - This attachable item can only be given to Ghost type pokémon. If the pokémon wearing this token has the ability to change in to the Invisible state, they are able to do so for three turns instead of the usual two and enjoy perfect invisibility where they might usually have left an icy glimmer or some other give away. If the selected pokémon does not already possess the ability to change in to the Invisible state, they gain the ability to do so for two turns, leaving a slight give away when they do so such as the glint of an eye or the glow of an ectoplasmic body. Ghosts wearing this token are also granted an increased ability to trick their opponents. This item causes the move Fling to deal Ghost type damage if it is thrown. This token is available only during the Halloween 2013 sale and may be purchased by trainers up to once.
Currently Attached to: Eska: Level 3 Genderless Rotom

Venusaurite (Free) - This item allows Venusaur to Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur when held during battle.
Currently Attached to: Tho: Level 3 Male Venusaur[/size]

Eska: Level 4 Genderless Rotom
Rotom (Electric/Ghost): Rotom is considered permanently in 'plasma' state, which counts as the Gaseous state, and cannot achieve the solid, ethereal or invisible states. However, it can pass through walls in this 'plasma' state and is able to occupy objects for a much longer time than other Ghosts. While occupying an object on the battlefield, it will take full damage from attacks if that object is hit with attacks. Despite these abilities, Rotom cannot stay in walls, floors, or other significant surfaces for any longer than the typical ghost. Despite being locked out of the physical state, it takes only 10% extra damage from special moves. Rotom is very fast and able to turn corners sharply and instantly. It can levitate to about waist height of its trainer. Rotom may change 'formes' and bond itself more permanently with an object, thus changing its moves, abilities, typing and appearance (see Ghost Information for more details).
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
[Ghost]: Ghosts are resistant to attacks which induce confusion or other mental effects and are immune to telekinetic-based Psychic moves if not in the solid state (though will still take damage from Psychic moves regardless of state). They cannot be poisoned. Ghosts fight more enthusiastically at night and can see in the dark, though they are not put off by fighting in the day. Their fear inducing attacks are more effective than those used by other pokémon. Ghost-types take neutral damage from Normal, Fighting and typeless attacks in the ASB, as opposed to in the games, but some may change their state in order to evade certain moves. See Ghost Pokémon Information for details on states.
Biography: Eska traveled to the spirit world. In this environment, he met Girantina, master of the shadows, and fear. Giratina used a simple roar of his voice to dispel Eska back into its own reality. When Eska reemerged in the real world, he carried with him the knowledge the might Girantina surged upon him. Combining both of his type, Eska creates a powerful electrical sound that is infused with ghostly desires. It’s apparently very irritating to witness, leaving the opponent vulnerable for the taking.

Special Attack: Electric Wail [EL/GH]
Electric Wail emits a powerful electrical surge infused with ghostly energy that reduces both of the opponent’s defenses by 10% for the first five turns of its use. The attack reappears every time a Pokémon is sent out by the opponent due to its ghostly nature. Standard boost stipulations apply. This attack cost Significant Energy use. This is an entry hazard that hinders opposing Pokémon. Eska cannot use Thunderbolt, electro ball, and charge beam. Additionally, he cannot bond with any appliance, forcing it to live the rest of his days as a ghostly creature.
Hidden Power: Fighting
Attached Token: Reaper's Token

Yue: Level 3 Female Lapras
Lapras (Water/Ice): Lapras is slow and ungainly on land, but is incredibly fast and agile in water, particularly on top. As a carrier Pokémon, Lapras can carry up to 1.5 times its weight and not have its speed affected. Lapras’ shell is hard, and any attacks there are reduced to 75% damage.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
[Ice]: Ice Pokémon are highly resistant to cold, and love fighting in it. However, they hate hot temperatures, and will not fight as well.
Biography: Not Available.
No Signature Move.

Hidden Power: Ground

Jet: Level 4 Male Gallade
Gallade (Psychic/Fighting): Gallade is able to extend its arms and elbows. Its arms are also very sharp, and cutting attacks do slightly more damage.
[Psychic]: Psychics are considered to automatically be familiar with psychic abilities. Thus, they can use Psychic to move and toss Pokémon. If facing a non-bug, non-dark opponent, psychics can sense their opponent somewhat, making accuracy reducing attacks less effective.
[Fighting]: Fighting Pokémon train extensively, more than any other Pokémon type, which gives them slightly greater endurance and energy.
Biography: His favorite weapon of choice are Hook Swords. But he is not allowed to wield them as part of a battle. He found a way around it though.

Special Attack: Energy Hook Swords [ST]
Jet can hatch together two energy Hook Swords that combine deal significant steel damage for significant steel energy. The Hook Swords disappear once they have been used. He can use this technique twice per battle. He can only evolve into Gallade.
Hidden Power: Ice

Raava: Level 4 Female Togekiss
Togekiss (Fairy/Flying): Despite their appearance, they are fast and agile fliers. Togekiss can be trained only by trainers that make them happy, so Return is more powerful when used by one.
[Fairy]: Fairies are slightly more adept at support moves than most pokemon and use slightly less energy to perform them. Fairies prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically there. Any attack used by a Fairy type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. Fairies dislike fighting in urban environments.
[Flying]: Flying Pokémon, with a few exceptions, all fly. Those who cannot are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation.
Biography: Being the pure manifestation of good, Raava feeds off the well-being of her team mates. To enhance her nobility, Raava sends forth gust of luminous winds that raises the morale of her team mates, leaving them to feel protected against the advances of their enemies.

Special Training: Luminous Winds [FA/FL]
Raava sends forth Luminous Winds to the field that aids both of herself and her teammates with a 10% boost to both defenses. The luminous winds disappear after five turns, and reappear every time an ally pokemon is sent out to the field. Standard boost stipulations apply. This is an entry hazard that affects friendly pokemon. Raava can no longer use Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, and Sky Attack.
Hidden Power: Ground

Saikkan: Level 4 Male Steelix
Steelix (Steel/Ground): Steelix are large Pokémon, and are able to burrow through hard materials with their Dig attack easily (such as concrete). They are also more resistant to extreme pressures. Steelix can see in the dark.
[Steel]: Steel types, like rock types, have hard bodies, making them resistant to unskilled physical blows, and sink in water. While not bothered by water to the degree rock types are, they still would rather fight out of the water. Unlike rock types, most steel Pokémon prefer cold temperatures to hot ones.
[Ground]: Ground Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 75% the normal damage from electric attacks. If a ground type is wet, electric attacks affect it normally (unless the Pokémon is naturally wet/slimy, like Quagsire).
Biography: Saikkan has a nack for ramming things like a hammer. His best guess? Mix his love for wood and ram people like a hammer into one single attack.

Special Training: Woody Hammer [GS]
Saikkan can use Wood Hammer with the type energy to use it twice per battle. He can no longer use Block, Flail, and Giga Impact.
Hidden Power: Fairy

Tho: Level 4 Male Venusaur
Venusaur (Grass/Poison): Venusaur is the fastest of the Bulbasaur family: however, it is the heaviest, and it lacks the agility of its lower evolutions. It is also incapable of standing on its hind legs, which means it has more trouble executing moves like Earthquake. Venusaur have multiple vines, which means they can hit and grab multiple things with their Vine Whip attacks. In it's Mega Form it gains a thick layer of cellulose in their skin similar to Hariyama's fat. Due to this it takes half the damage it would otherwise take from Ice and Fire type attacks.
[Poison]: If not completely immune, poison types are highly resistant to poisoning.
Biography: As He walks through the valley of the shallow of watery death. He took a look at his life and realize there's not much left. 'Coz he been blastin' and laughin' so long, that even his mama thinks that his mind is gone. But he ain't never crossed a mon that didn't deserve it. Him be treated like a punk you know that's unheard of. You better watch how you're talkin', and where you're walkin' Or you and your homies might be lined in fluid. I really hate to trip but I gotta, loc. As he grows he see himself in the pulse mist, fool. He’s the kinda G the little homies wanna be like. On his knees in the night, sprayin' liquids in the swamp light. Been spendin' most his lives, livin' in the swampy's paradise.

Special Training: Swampy’s Paradise [WA]
Tho lived his life in the marginalized swamp areas of the Kanto. He grew up in a swamp, and therefore learned how to use not only the plant environment, but also water as resource. Through his adversity, he learned how to use Water pulse and Water Pledge. However, he does not have the swamp cred to use Solarbeam, Double-Edge, or Petal Dance.
Hidden Power: Dark
Currently Attached: Venusaurnite

I think I'll start off the match with Lockjaw.

Make it Hail to start, then fire a Scald his way.

Use Luminous Winds as you start off high in the air. Follow up by using shock wave!

As a note to the ref: Both the signature approver and myself forgot to specify the energy for Luminous Winds. For now, treat it as significant energy like any other entry hazard.

Round 1: Weathermancy

OOC: Sorry for the wait and the poor quality, stuff happened and then my computer ate the reffing I typed up before. ;__;

Both of our trainers today are fairly well-known, one a GT who's known perhaps less than he should be and the other a GL-applicant who's got more of a reputation than he perhaps should (I mean, really, there's a reason all dark- and poison- specialists have one). One's using a Crocnaw, a fairly cute/rugged water, while the other's using Togekiss who is simply the cutest thing to ever grace the earth.

Lockjaw (the Crocnaw) leads off by releasing a pale beam to the sky. No type energy in this one, but it does contain a unique structure that alters the atmospheric conditions to bring about an environment suited for the formation of Hail. The Togekiss on the other hand (Raava), ascends while glitters coat her body, a Luminous Wind blowing through the arena and granting her a bonus to her defenses. It's funny because it's both thematically and mechanically similar to my Togekiss sig, though this one's an entry hazard while mine grants a speed boost. Lockjaw isn't too cool with this, and releases a blast of Scaldingly hot water, the torrent scoring a (not-direct) hit on his flying foe. Raava adds to her already Luminous coating, lightning crackling down her wings as she flaps them in her target's direction, Wave upon wave of electrical energy rushing Lockjaw's position. In the face of this onslaught, Lockjaw, well, locks up. Poor fool needs to play more Touhou- In the face of a seemingly undodgable onslaught, the correct action is to calm down and focus on each wave as it comes- in a widespread barrage attack, the gaps become more noticable as it reaches close range. Anyway, the attack Shocks him through. As the trainers issue their next orders, the sky darkens and small ice pieces begin to rain down.

Range between the two is notable, Lockjaw looks a tad bit fried but other than that they both look fine.

Good, stay aerial as you unleash a dazzling gleam. Then remain evasive. Fly if you need to dodge an ice attack. Not 3.

Dude, what the fuck. If you're going to say 48 Hour DQ, mean 48 Hour DQ. Don't cancel the match after 28. As of this post I should still have like seven hours left.

Round 2: Not 'Ice' Enough

Overhead, Raava prepares a Dazzling ball of light, a flick of her wing sending the orb whirling towards her foe far beneath. Lockjaw dislikes the look of the Gleaming sphere, but takes the brunt of the blow. But, as the sparkles clear, his presence is revealed- The manly attack-taking was all part of his trainer's plan! A second orb, this one packed with Ancient powers, rockets out of the crocodile's mouth, owing homage to the reptile's prehistoric heritage. Caught unawares, Raava winces as the attack slams into her for impressive damage. She's not keen to take another hit like that, and so locks sights onto the Croconaw, watching his every move. Lockjaw rewards her efforts with a surging blast of water, kinda like a giant, crocodile-shaped Water Gun. The doveplane veers to the side, taking a hard hit but managing to minimize the damage, though she loses some serious altitude as the forceful attack pounds upon her wing. Hail happens. Flight becomes notably difficult.

Lockjaw is panting slightly, Raava is doing fine.

Round 3: A Cold Reception

Lockjaw starts the round off by exhaling that oh-so-useful attack known as Icy Wind, a nice chilling attack with innate widespread-ish-ness. He exhales hard and the icy goodness flows forth. Raava wants absolutely nothing to do with that, and prepares herself for evasive maneuvers. Unfortunately, Flying in a hailstorm after taking a blow to the wing isn't the easiest thing, and she takes a good majority of the attack. Though the damage is reduced handily by those localized winds. Of course, now she's good for some revengence, and so the fairyjet diiiiiiveboooooooooombs.
Hana would appreciate that crash.
And then Raava does perhaps the most effective way to get revenge- she Passes the Baton onto someone more suited to the job. The glowing hand-off-thingy glows as Raava vanishes from the field of battle, smiling as she goes.

The field shakes as the massive Venusaur drops onto the field, roaring in triumph as he takes the stage. The Winds rise once more, galloping forth and cloaking Tho in a layer of Luminous energy, and he grins down at his significantly smaller foe. A true David and Goliath matchup. I think we all know what comes next- And I am one hundred percent ready for it. Time to pull out the thesaurus, because next round is gonna be great.

Blizzard to Razor Wind while moving towards the water. Hop in if you can do so without using a move. If getting in the water would make this a three mover, don't do it.

Round 4: Skip the first paragraph

Energy crackles over Tho's form as his trainer commands him to reveal his hidden potential. Although the device in his trainer's hand looks decisively digital, the effect is by no means less real- A wave of force explodes outwards from the green giant, the clouds overhead parting for a moment as light lances down from the heavens, Lockjaw flinching back as the pillar completely encloses his opponent. The energy focuses itself into a prominently placed stone, which glows from within with a strange light. Suddenly, the energy flowing around the stone explodes outwards, like a ripple through space. As it passes over the Venusaur's form: skin thickens and swells, petals widen and fill, and a miniature rainforest rapidly grows. Within moments, Tho's forme has changed to one altogether more advanced- The pillar shatters as though made of glass, and for a moment the new arrival is basked in brilliant light.
Then the clouds close in and we're back to normal.

The colossus begins by releasing an array of Seeds- the hard-shelled constructs smash down on their target and explode like an arsenal of Bombs. It totally does damage equivalent to a FC Hyper Beam! Actually more than but. A look of fierce determination flickers across Lockjaw's face as he gathers up the remaining cryogenic energy deep within his body, summoning it up into a sphere of glittering blue-white. The construct rapidly converts into a more standard form, a focused Blizzard of ice and snow lancing across the field and into the bulk of the behemoth across the field. But the titan all but shrugs off the impressive onslaught, the cellulose insulating his form and assorted other defensive bonuses a testament to his grand evolution. It does still chill him thoroughly, though, further slowing the heavy beast. Tho retaliates for this grave affront with a flurry of Leaves, their edges glowing like Magic. Leprechaun gold, perhaps? Well, it certainly stings, the leaves whipping across Lockjaw's exposed everything for some painful damage. But Lockjaw hasn't yet demonstrated his ace in the hole, and that's what he turns to now, slicing Razor-sharp claws through the air- the Wind bends to his command, cloud-white energy infusing the space between the battlers as blades of air pummel the larger beast. His assault complete, the crocodile takes to his element, happily splashing into the pool.

Lockjaw looks extremely battered, the assault heavily hurting him. He's obviously past the halfway point, but he's now in his element- Could this be the sling that lets him slay Goliath? (Spoilers: I have no idea, I'm just trying to make a reference.) He looks somewhere between 'totally ready to go' and 'tired, so tired'. Probably fine for now, though.
On the other side, Tho isn't untouched, though his assorted bonuses have mitigated the onslaught. He stands tall...ish? Whatever, what I'm trying to say is that he's energetic enough to hold his considerable weight high.

Vine whip him out of the water with as many vines needed. Toss him against the boulder that is to your left and away from the pool. When you get a clear shot, use Energy ball.

Round 5: All the Bonuses and Type Spam and Crap

OOC: EG asked, with Phoopes's permission, if I could take this match since they assume Kin is having computer issues. If there's any problems just let me know.

Lockjaw peers out of the water, a gator in his element, and spots his foe a few feet away, swiftly (If you could call it that) approaching. He quickly settles on his plan of attack, and pumps some energy into the side of the pool, as a welcoming Gift for his large "friend." The energy steadily travels through the ground, and when it gets under Tho, it bursts out, the Natural Rock energy being enough to knock the Mega Venusar off slightly off balance. However, that balance is regained, as Tho once again plants both pairs of legs firmly on the ground. He resumes his slow trudge towards the pool, but now he has a fresh pissed off look on his face. Lockjaw doesn't like it one bit.

Tho comes to a stop at the edge of the pool, causing a few smaller stones around it to bounce into the water. A multitude of Vines emerge from the base of his tree, and slide into the water, seeking out their prey. Lockjaw is quick to act, however, and he doesn't feel like making this search and destroy mission easy for the Whiplike vines. In the blink of an eye, he Dives underwater to the bottom of the pool, or about seven or so feet underwater. He sees four vines begin to surround him, and he waits for them to make a move, prepared to react and escape their clutches. Suddenly, the four vines all shoot towards him simultaneously, as he shoots upwards towards the surface. The surface, he does reach, but the vines follow just behind him. One in particular catches him by the leg, causing him to wiggle and flail around like a fish out of water. Except he's in the water. And not a fish. While this flailing does by him some time, and cause Tho to expend some excess energy and patience, the four vines successfully ensnare Lockjaw, lifting him out of the water. With a powerful flick, they hurl him into a nearby boulder, which he hits back first with a thud, before sliding down it. As he gets up, quite stunned from the impact, he turns to see a bright green orb inside Tho's mouth. His eyes go wide as the Ball of painful Grass Energy shoots towards him, nailing him right in the gut for some ridiculous damage. As if that wasn't enough, he's, along with Tho, is then pelted by some hail, adding a bit of insult to that injury. But, Lockjaw's resolve proves to be strong. By the skin of his teeth, he manages to make it back to his feet, willing to go another round with his super-sized foe.

Pixel Summary

Lockjaw's more than likely done after this next round, but luckily, he should be feeling up for it energy wise. Not that it really matters, but Rock's gone.

Tho's looking much better than Lockjaw, being just into his second third. He's still pretty energetic, but if he keeps using energy at the rate he did this round, he'll tire quickly. EG to order.

Seed Bomb into Energy Ball. Approach the pool to use your second move if you have to.

Not Three.

Aerial Ace. While he's moving towards the pool, see if you can knock him in with Surf.

Round 6: Another Seed Bomb Round...Fun

Looking to finish off his foe, Tho rustles his back, and takes his stance, planting him feet firmly into the ground. From the top of the tree on his back, he fires another Bombardment of Seeds at Lockjaw. In a last ditch effort to save himself, Lockjaw rushes Tho, moving side to side to attempt to avoid the dangerous saplings around him. He manages to run underneath a couple seeds that were aimed at his previous location, but he doesn't get so lucky with the rest of the plant grenades. A cluster of them hit the ground beside where he's standing, exploding on impact. This, along with a few that hit his body, send him flying to the side, where he skids along the ground before coming to a stop. Tho observes his unmoving opponent for a moment, ignoring the last few pellets of hail battering his back, before moving on and psyching himself up for his next opponent, since this one obviously wasn't getting back up.

Lockjaw is unable to battle. Next Pokemon with orders from Phoopes!

Pixel Summary

Tho took no damage besides a bit from Hail this round. After that one mover, he's looking refreshed. Hail has cleared.
