After considerable deliberation, we're going to lead with Bishop, making his grand debut.

Begin with Night Shade, and follow with Air Slash. If he uses an Electric move, then send it right back with Light Screen instead of your current move.

It's a sub, not a three-mover.

The way you have it worded, it doesn't read that way.

Teleport as he fires Night Shade. End up behind him. Give him a shocker with a Thunder Punch.

CrumbledCandyWrapper sends out Theo the Ralts to the stage!

Son_of_Shadows returns the favor and sends out Bishop the Hoothoot!

Quote:
Ralts (Psychic/Fairy): Ralts's empathic abilities make it very in touch with its opponent. Attacks that deal with the opponents mental state are more effective. Teleporting also requires slightly less energy.
[Psychic]: Psychics are considered to automatically be familiar with psychic abilities. Thus, they can use Psychic to move and toss Pokémon. If facing a non-bug, non-dark opponent, psychics can sense their opponent somewhat, making accuracy reducing attacks less effective.
[Fairy]: Fairys are slightly more adept at support moves than most pokemon and use slightly less energy to perform them. Fairies prefer natural environments and will fight more enthusiastically there. Any attack used by a Fairy type which manipulates the environment is slightly more effective owing to the magical energies involved and attacks which boost allied pokémon is slightly more effective at providing a buff. Fairies dislike fighting in urban environments.

Hoothoot (Normal/Flying): As owls, Hoothoot and Noctowl are the quietest fliers amongst Pokémon, and are almost inaudible as they fly. Hoothoot can see in the dark.
[Normal]: Normal types can use the greatest variety of attacks in the league: they pay for this, however, by having less type energy. In the ASB, Normal types take 100% damage from Ghost type moves.
[Flying]: Flying Pokémon, with a few exceptions, all fly. Those who cannot are faster and more agile in their chosen mode of transportation.
ROUND 1

Bishop starts off the round with a deadly night shade against Theo. But Theo seems to be brigher than that, so he teleports behind Bishop. While the owl is confused as to what just happened, Theo punches Bishop with a thunderpunch from behind, dealing a nasty blow from the start, without any additional effects though. Bishop turns around and retaliates with a sharp air slash, striking the psychic foe for some nice damage while pushing him back a bit.

Summary

Bishop already suffered a mean blow there to health. Energy usage was okay.

Theo’s health was affected, but not as bad. Energy usage was taxing right off the bat, and it might affect him later in the match. Electric is about half gone.

Buzz off puny Ralts. Also WHY DID I NOT RELEASE YOU INTO THE AIR GOD DAMN IT

Use Agility to get into the air, out of the way of that Thunder Wave. Close your eyes to shield against Hypnosis.

ROUND 2

Theo uses a sizzling thunder wave against Bishop, but the birdy takes flight by dodging the attack with a burst of agility. Theo sees the bird in the sky so he sends out a hypnosis to put him to sleep, but Bishop briefly closes his eyes to avoid being put to sleep.

Summary

Theo did not take any damage. Energy usage was okay. Electric is basically gone.

Bishop did not take any damage. Energy usage was fine.

How is all of Theo's Electric gone from one Thunder Punch and a Thunder Wave.

Use a Focused Hyper Voice to push through Night Shade and hit Charles. Then create a QC Substitute before the Air Slash.

ROUND 3

Bishop starts off with another night shade against Theo. The psionic fairy responds with a focused hyper voice. Both attack cross right through each other, leaving each pokemon receiving a nice hit. Bishop proceeds to spread his wings out as he uses air cutter against his opponent. Meanwhile, Theo sets up a substitute. The wind attack collides with the imposter, destroying it in an instant.

Summary

Bishop took a hit there, but atleast he managed to almost pair up the health gap. Energy usage was okay. Ghost is almost gone.

Theo’s health plumitted just a smudge below Bishop. Energy usage was on the high side. A break is needed.

CCW, thunder punch consumes considerable energy, while thunder wave consumes good energy. I usually give pokemon a HB worth of offtype unless they are mono normal which is major amount [exceptions as well to some fairies, ect].

I ordered Air SLASH, not Air Cutter, not that it makes any real difference.

I think we both need a break after all the moves we've used this far, right? Or is that just Theo?

Closing eyes consumes very little to no energy. Agilty isnt that bad to use. Your initial teleport caught up as well. Three rounds of two moves, a breather is in place. My notes have air slash... It was a typo.. Sorry lol

Okay well why is all of Theo's Electric Energy gone from just a Thunder Punch and a Thunder Wave... Compared to the 5 moves it can learn, those two would be the least taxing, I believe.

offtype is limited. Since electric is not your main type, you only get access to use it a limited amount of times based on the referee's discretion. I go by what is still somewhat the standard of 1 hyper beam worth (extreme amount) of energy for offtype if you are not a normal type pokemon (which get heavy amount). A thunderpunch consumes considerable energy, and thunderwave consumes good energy, so what you have left is about light amount of energy in your electric pool. I hope that clarify your concern

A thunder punch is solid energy at best. And thunder wave does minor... That means I have at least a Thunderbolt left, right?

Really not trying to pester you about it, lol. I'm just trying to figure out my next move here...

Thunder Punch (EL) -- The user punches the target hard with a fist charged with electric energy to deal solid damage, which has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent.

Thunder Wave (EL) – Using good energy, the user sends out numerous tendrils of electricity with which it attempts to bind the opponent. While the opponent is wrapped, they will take minor electric damage, but will only suffer long-term (i.e. after the move is over) paralysis if Thunder Wave is held for a good amount of time. The user of Thunder Wave must concentrate while maintaining the attack, but they can use other attacks concurrently.

---------------
unless stated, attacks usually consume what they deal in damage. As for thunder wave, its explicitly stated that it consumes good energy

Oh, okay. I was lookin at the old Move Errata thingy and thought it was still creditable. X|
Thanks for clearing that one, EG.

In that case, Confuse Ray. If he closes his eyes to block it out, hit him with a Will-o-Wisp while they're closed. Try to get him in the wing, if possible.
