Hidden Power: Water

Special Attack: Gassy Cloud [XX]
When Kuzon is commanded to use Gassy Cloud, he will release a giant cloud of gas that in the matter of 1-3 turns will become a large solid energy ball that will lash against Stunky’s opponent, dealing considerable damage. This essensially a typeless Future Sight.

Biography:
Day seven. The Xatu tribe still believe me to be a long lost evolution. They keep feeding me, and teaching me the ways of the Xatu. Incognito mode has fully kicked in, and they are starting to share their secrets. A magical stick is passed among the Xatu, it seems as form of bonding. The magical stick has passed by Wa Shi Tong's lower fork tail several times. Eventually he learned how to pass the stick himself, really feeling joyful that he feels like one of them now.

Hidden Power: Electric

Special Training: Passing as one of them [NO]
Wan Shi Tong learned baton pass from the fellow Xatu tribe. To blend in though, he lost the ability to use ice beam, charge beam, and double team.

----------------
Wan Shi Tong, use Heat Wave against both opponents!
Kuzon, use dark pulse if you see a ghost pokemon. Otherwise, attack with flame burst to the pokemon on the right.
Wan Shi Tong, use shadow ball if you see a ghost pokemon, otherwise use Twister.
Kuzon, use Sludge bomb on your foe that is not steel typed.

So from Soulmuse’s side we have a Porygon and a Quilava uplevel, interesting. While EG sends out a Stunky and a Sigilyph, neither side has an obvious type advantage, but Soul has an evolved up-level so the advantage is slightly on his side.

Porygon and is evolutions are capable of hovering, which gives them greater maneuverability but restricts how high they can fly (about 10 feet above the surface or so, though they typically float about a foot off the ground unless ordered otherwise).

Quilava (Fire): Quilava is the middle of the road speed and agility wise in the Cyndaquil family. Cyndiquil, Quilava, and Typhlosion can control whether their flames are ignited at any one time. When not ignited, they take less damage from water attacks, as there is no flame for the water to hit. However, they cannot use any fire attacks if their fire is not ignited. Igniting gives them their normal weakness to water, but allows them to use fire attacks. Igniting does not count as a move, and happens automatically when the Pokémon is ordered a fire attack. However, de-igniting counts as a move. They will automatically de-ignite if they fall asleep.
Stunky (Poison/Dark): Stunky is capable of producing very bad odors. Once per battle it can release a terrible odor which can flinch the opponent, and uses two Poison Gases worth of energy to do so.
Sigilyph: (Psychic/Flying) Sigilyph don’t actually fly, but rather appear to float. Their floating is quite dynamic and resembles flying, but they can stop their momentum and change direction easily.
And we’re off, Quilava immediately tries to increase their numbers, generating four additional clones with double team. While in the meantime Porygon shoots a tri-coloured beam of energy at Sigilyph. Sigilyph takes the hit and retaliates by generating scorching heat and waving it towards their foes. In addition to dealing a nice blow to Porygon and a resisted hit to Quilave, he also manages eliminate the clones. Good for him.

Not to be outdone Stunky also takes on a fire aura and charges into Porygon while increasing his speed. Seeing the skunk on fire Quilava thinks it’s a good idea to add more fuel to it, breathing a large stream of fire over Stunky warming him up more than intended though no burns form. Stunky winches from the heat and, as Quilave is no steel type, flings some sludge bombs towards him in retaliation. Most hit for a good blow, but again no status, RNG is such a troll.

Speaking of trolly RNG, Porygon spits out its electroweb at the flying type, zapping him a little bit before he returns fire with a nice twister. In order to not hit the closeby Stunky, remember flame-charge, he opts to hit Quilave instead.

Results:

Stunky took a flamethrower from Quilave, but it’s still early. Energy use wasn’t spectacular and fire took only a small hit.

Sigilyph took a tri-attack and some SE damage from that electroweb, which is still on him. It doesn’t really hinder his movement though. His energy use was the largest out of all, but again it’s still early. He shouldn’t try anymore fire attacks though.

Porygon took a hit from both Sigilyph and Stunky but is still fine, his energy use wasn’t all that harsh but his electric pool took a dip due to normal type curse.

Quilava took a resisted hit, a twister and then some sludgebombs, but her up-level status toned the damage down a bit, still the lowest on health though. Energy use was about average.

Health: Sigilyph>Stunky>Porygon>Quilava

Energy: Porygon>Stunky>Quilava>Sigilyph.

Since Soul PM’ed me first, I believe EG orders first.

Wan Shi Tong, Use Future Sight against Firestorm and remain evasive. If you see an electric attack come your way, use light screen right before.

Kuzon, use gassy cloud against Firestorm. Then use Sludge Bomb against Pixelate.

Pixelate, Tri Attack straight at Kuzon, then follow that up with Signal Beam. If for some reason Firestorm gets in the way of either attack, then target Wan Shi Tong instead.

Firestorm, Break Break, right in Kuzon's face, then follow up with a second, point blank Flamethrower.

Round 2: I foresee disaster

This rounds starts off with Stunky doing what a skunk does best, releasing some very nasty gas in the air and Sigilyph’s eyes glowing a bright blue. Soul’s pokémon are a bit confused as both attacks don’t seem to have any effect, but are quick to decide that that is probably for the best so go straight back to attacking. Porygon slams another tri-coloured beam right into Skunky right before he gets smacked by a brick-break from Quilava. Because Stunky aren’t quite hard or anything it doesn’t do additional damage, pity. The following flamthrower from Quilava does quite the number on the poor Skunk though, but again no status for all the attacks so far.

Seeing that Quilava is in the way for a good hit on Stunky, Porygon uses its signalbeam on Sigilyph instead, but he was on the look-out for attacks so manages to side step float it, only taking a small nick on his wing things tip. Again no status. The round ends with Stunky barfing up more volatile chemicals, this time towards Porygon. The sad thing is that this would have caused status but with Porygon being inorganic it doesn’t happen. Oh and Sigilyph gets a small shock from the electroweb.

Results:

Well Stunky took a beating, being ganged up against isn’t fun you know. He’s merrily on his way to half health, although still a good way off. His energy use was decent all around but he can still carry on.

Sigilyph took some minor damages from web and signal beam scratch, nothing special. Energy use also wasn’t spectacular and will likely move first next round.

Porygon took a sludgebomb to the face almost out of the first third, energy use was alright, one weakened signalbeam left for bug though.

Quilava avoided damage, and used decent energy all around, fighting took a bit of a dip though.

Health: Sigilyph>Quilava>Porygon>>Stunky

Pixelate, Tri Attack whichever is closer, then use Agility to dodge anythign sent your way. If you aren't attacked, the hit the Sigilyph with a Shadow Ball.

Firestorm, Brick break the skunky again, then Fire Blast whichever is closer

Good.

Wan Shi Tong use natural gift against Firestorm, but keep your distance. Gain some air as you use ancient power against Firestorm.

Kuzon, use natural gift against Firestorm. Follow up a pursuit against Pixilate.

Round 3: The winds of change

Starting of the round, Sigilyph manipulates the environment and sends forth a massive pillar of ground energy slamming from below right into Quilava who yelps in pain. Stunky chuckles at this but is soon silenced by yet another tri-attack from Porygon WITH STILL NO STATUS WTF RNG? Growling about the cheap hit, Stunky just imitates Sigilyph and the image of a yelping Quilava makes him forget about his pain… For about three seconds as Quilava dashes in for another brickbreak, making the laughing stop. A following almost point-blank fire blast reminds the Skunk that he should respect his uplevels, especially since the troll gods have finally decided to throw around some status, nasty burns forming on the Stunky’s skin.

Next up is Sigilyph again with more typespam, ancient power rock energy orbs slamming into Quilava for more typespam damage but no boosts. To top of this fiesta, Porygon is about to start a shadowball after being ignored for the longest time, however he manages to spot the Skunk cloaking himself in dark energy just in time to attempt a dodge. Attempt being the keyword here with Porygon not having quite the agility needed to avoid a pursuit. As the dust settles, the wind starts blowing and the earlier gas sphere takes on an ominous look. And of course Sigilyph gets zapped again, can’t do without that running gag.

Results:

Massive pain for Quilava up level or not, this round really did a number on her. But remember kids NG is relatively weak so she’s only just underneath half health. Her energy use was quite a bit heavier though especially that fire blast was taxing. She might be a bit slow and would like a breather. Also fighting is pretty much shot

Stunky didn’t really enjoy this round either, taking three decent to powerful attacks, into his final third by now. His energy use was quite light actually and he should be able to keep those two movers coming. Also burned.

Porygon took some light damage from Stunky, but not really much. His energy use was also rather light.

Sigilyph only took the electroweb damage but that’s neglectable despite being SE. Energy use was about average and rock is about halfway down.

Health: Porygon>Sigilyph>>Quilava>>Stunky

Energy: Porygon>Sigilyph>Stunky>Quilava

Firestorm, Lava Plume.

Pixelate Tri Attack Kuzon. Then follow up with a second Tri attack. If Kuzon isn't out for the count, target him.

Round 4: Called it

The round starts with Stunky spewing more beautiful piles of sludge towards Quilava, who takes the hit and grunts, but yet again no status lol. At the same time Sigilyph has summoned another twister flying towards Porygon. But remember that pursuit from last round, yeah Stunky is caught up in it as well. Woopsie. After the twister dies down a bit, Porygon aims at Stunky for yet another statusless tri-attack, hitting his burns hard. And after that he gets smothered in lava. LAVA man, that’s not healthy but somehow he manages to hold on long enough to fire an orb of rock energy at the Quilava before succumbing to a second tri-attack.

The fight goes on however as Sigilyph slams an invisible kinetic force right into the weasel’s gut. After that the big stuff happens, out of nowhere a giant ball of psi energy appears and blindsides the poor fire starter and if that wasn’t enough the big cloud of gas hanging around solidifies into an energy ball slamming the echidna yet again but she holds on for now.

Results:

Quilava took quite the beating and is barely hanging on by now. She did however enjoy the one-move round and might get a final attack in.

Porygon took a twister, nothing special still above half. Repeated tri-attacks is starting to get to him however.

Sigilyph took the obligated electric web damage, which by the way still isn’t made energy efficient as of yet. Energy use was fair and like Porygon would appreciate a small break.

Stunky is unable to continue further.

Health: Sigilyph>Porygon>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Quilava

Energy: Porygon>Quilava>Sigilyph

Ho hum.

Firestorm Fire Blast that pesky bird. Then for a last ditch move Wild Charge. Try and bring this even before you go down.

Pixelate, a single Tri Attack.

Fly to avoid both the fire blast and tri attack, then strike Firestorm. If firestorm is out of the game, then use Sky attack against Pixelate, otherwise take out firestorm with aerial ace.

Round 5: Evasive manoeuvres.

Starting the round both Porygon and Quilava ready their respective attacks, planning on ganging up on the poor flying whatyamacallit. He however isn’t really keen on this and gracefully but quickly flies out of the way, avoiding both attacks before slamming into Quilava, putting her out at last. Not finished yet he glows white this time before ramming into Porygon for a nice hit.

Results:

Web damage for the balloon, still not efficient, energy use was quite heavy and he would like that break now.

Porygon took quite a blow, but he enjoyed the one move round leading the energy race while losing the health one.

Quilava is unable to battle.

Round 6: Healing the pain away.

The balloon plops a pane of transparant glass into existence while remaining on the lookout for any attacks that may come forth. The electric soldier takes this opportunity to mend its wounds by utilising recover. Weird descriptions aside he manages to almost equalise his health but becomes very tired in doing so. The resulting thunderbolt, as a result, isn’t the most spectacular thing in pokémon history especially since his electric pool was running low anyway. This means that Sigilyph actually manages to get out of the way in time, preserving the screen.

Results:

Web damage for the balloon and some energy used for the shiny new shield. Though not really used a one mover he’s considerably more fresh than Porygon due to recover.

Porygon recovered quite a bit of health, but sacrificed an equal bit of energy to do so, they’re now even on both health and energy but Porygon is significantly more tired due to its use of recover. Needless to say his electric pool has dried up completely now.
