In regards to the Squad Slot you get every 50 TP, two questions

1. Is it every 50 TP (eg. 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, etc.) Or does that stop after a specific point?

2. If you go below the TP threshold, do you lose the Slot? (Eg. You have 100 TP. You add a Magikarp. You then somehow get rid of 1 TP. You have 99 TP. Do you lose the Magikarp?)

To the first question, you get them indefinitely. You could have 1000 TP, you'd still get one after hitting the next 50 mark.

To the second, you do not lose the slot. However, you also do not gain another slot once you hit the benchmark again. So if you hit 100 and then dropped below that point, your next slot would come at 150.

Yeah, the first I was unsure about because the announcement only went up to 150 TP

But thanks c:

[2:50:45 PM] Princess Big Mac: Hey Connor, question
[2:51:07 PM] Princess Big Mac: in Rentals Exhibs, are we able to rent a single Mega Stone?
[2:51:13 PM] Connor Swanston: Uh
[2:51:24 PM] Connor Swanston: Would offhand say no, and say go to Jeri for an official ruling

May I get a ruling on this, great and powerful Jeri?

I'd like to personally appeal for a yes (although with a condition), and I have some reasons.

Rentals allows someone to use a Pokemon and decide whether or not they like it or they can play it to their style well enough to end up keeping it. Even random rentals has some of that element, as you're willingly putting yourself in the place where you're exposing yourself to new Pokemon and playstyles, much like the kinds of appeals that some of these recent challenge and randlocke playthroughs folks have been playing the hell out of lately.

But for a Pokemon, it's really quite a simple matter to add one. You can drop and add Pokemon at any time with just a couple lines of text.

Mega Stones, however, are a much bigger deal. They're a huge commitment, since ones you buy (which are significantly more expensive than purchasing a slot for a Pokemon) are only refundable at half their price, and even with the free ones from TL1, TL3, and TL6, which are able to be traded in, the ability to trade them in is very limited, requiring a special event that happens once every few months if we're lucky. If you find a Pokemon doesn't fit your style, it's an easy matter to drop it and pick up something else that you can sync with immediately. If a Mega doesn't, it's still stuck on you for a fair while. We don't really have a trial system for them, even though we do have one for vanilla Pokemon, the Rentals.

So I'd like to appeal to allow a single Mega use in Rental Exhibs, but under the condition that it doesn't get the upevo benefits (in the same way we don't allow uplevels in Rentals). Perhaps allowing it as an option that can be decided in the stats in such a rentals, allowing or disallowing the use of a single Mega

So in the glossary item moves are listed as not working on badges but in all attack descriptions they work on badges.

Can we scub that from the glossary please?

I do hope you mean scrub that from the attack descripts since the most recent ruling was that those types of attacks working on badges made the idea of actually owning badges incredibly downplayed since every 'mon and their mother gets Thief.

Can Fire Spin thwart/disrupt a U-Turn or Volt Switch from succeeding? The description for Fire Spin and the fact that Fire Spin is a trapping move in the games implies that, but I just wanted to make sure.

I guess you can take the Doubles SP bonus.

Also I don't know why Fire Spin would prevent a switch.

I thought Fire Spin/Whirlpool would be like the games? Sand Tomb and Spider Web seem to stop the switching? Maybe being trapped in the vortex of fire prevents the energy from returning to the Pokeball? Gah, I thought it was a one-off prevention thing kinda like Block. Y'know, cutting off a switching move by interrupting it.

This means Ghost Pokémon cannot go and hide underground in the ethereal state, though they can go under momentarily, coming back out a few seconds later for perhaps a surprise attack. Ghosts may not use Selfdestruct or Explosion whilst in the ethereal state.
This paragraph contradicts itself in the bolded parts. The second bolded part is a typo, yeah?

Can a Pokemon which is normally seen firing Water Pulse from it's hands be ordered to release it from it's mouth instead? Or is this a nah?

Yeah, that's fine. If a move is energy based you can generally have a little license on how it's fired, though you're probably not going to get a Focus Blast from your mouth.

While no one would really fling such a thing, I'm curious. What type does Fling become when a New Life Token is tossed?

Also unsure if this falls into the realms of S&I but I sort of want to clarify something about the way Snatch functions.

Quote:
Snatch (DK) -- Using good energy, the user places a curse on the opponent which steals the effects of any recovery moves or status boosting attacks on themselves for the next few rounds. If the victim does use one, then the Snatch-er gains the benefits. Snatch is relatively fast and will generally be able to snatch away any boost used around the same time as Snatch.
If a boost is gained as a side-effect of a passive sig and not by the actual use of a move, can Snatch still steal the benefits of the boost?

I'd say if it activates while Snatch is active, yes, but nothing that is ongoing or SC-like.

So after asking around I got no real answer to this, and was told to post in S/I and get your opinion, Jeri.

A clipping of the Cofag SC:

"Though unable to change forms like other ghosts due to being bound to the coffin, they can close themselves within the coffin, taking 50% damage from all attacks whilst in this state."

So three questions arose from my mind about this, as they aren't stated:

1. This inner coffin state, does it cost a move to switch in / out of?
2. Can it use attacks while closed in?
3. And finally, how long can this state be held?

Mmk thanks for your time.
