There was never a version of it approved, IIRC. I really should exchange it for Dave's.

Can Toxic passive damage (near maximal) eliminate confusion?

EG. I just spent ten minutes chasing people to answer you in Ref Q/A because you decided to go there instead of continuing a conversation with your ref. You did it politely but you missed the point of doing it. I was trying to get you to stop in Q/A and see that positive answers can be gotten from the community and show you that there is often not one single answer to a question. This is not comp. It is not maths. And you are not playing ball with us.

It's ref's discretion.

Rest (PS) -- The user settles down and goes to sleep in order to regain energy at a fast rate. The user will sleep for about half a minute, the same length as most rounds, and will restore an extreme amount of energy if able to sleep for the maximum time. The user may continue sleeping in to the next round if applicable. Light, cumulative damage such as poison or weak draining moves will probably not wake the sleeper, but sharper shocks may wake them up, automatically ending the energy regain. This move counts as a pokémon's one 'resting move' per match.

Milk Drink (NO) -- The user drinks some milk to heal itself. This will restore a significant amount of health, costing significant energy. Alternatively, it can give the milk to another pokémon. This move counts as a trainer's one 'healing move' per match.

Does the wording for rest suggest that it is one rest per pokemon?

It's been that way for years, so yes.

We'll change it soon.

Volt Switch, Baton Pass, U-Turn, etc. Does the energy loss that is used for the move come from the pokemon that initiated the Volt Switch or is it taken away from the pokemon that is switched in?

...the user, obviously.

And they can't regenerate energy used for those moves while they're in the ball.

However, would the subsequent pokemon feel as if they consumed the energy (not actually consume it but transfer their mental/physical state over to the next pokemon)

Unless the user was very tired, then no. Even if they were, the recipient will get over it pretty quickly since they're not actually tired.

How long does barrier/light screen/reflect remain out of the way for an attack? [As in, how much time does an opponent truly have to attack in the intermediate time]

During firing for special attacks and just before hitting for physical, so if a Pokémon were to counter the attack the moment it goes off/right before it hits, it'd miss the screen entirely, but just before or just after, it would hit. So a Sucker Punch or Reversal would probably hit, but a stray Mega Punch would hit the barrier.

Mean Look fades if the user faints or is switched out, right? Just like in the games?

Because otherwise that would be broken as balls.

Is the round ending when at least one pokemon is KOed in doubles no longer a thing? I remember that being a strategy back in the days, but I've been told otherwise, so just checking to be sure.

Not really an inquiry but... Gym leaders should be allowed to use an uplevel and a mega within the same match without penalty of disobedience O:

As a member of the community, I wholeheartedly disagree and think the fact that Megas were made on-par with uplevels for both power and disobedience chance was made for good reason.

Pointing out that the Leader's Token already exists for pretty much that reason. I mean. The name!

Yeah it breaks if the user faints or switches out normally. Not with a switching move though.

That was never a thing. The round only ends prematurely in Doubles when both Pokémon on a side are KOd.

Question: Would it be correct to not give a bonus to the second tier of a three stage evolution (e.g. Marshtomp, Eelektrik) when it's fighting the first tier of a two stage evolution (e.g. Petilil, Omanyte)?

They can, but it probably won't work and/or will give away their location.
