I would argue that both are possible.

After an especially taxing attack, will the user be able to attack right away in the round afterwards? I strongly doubt it since they would be very tired, but i'd appreciate a second opinion...

Depends on how fresh the opponent and how strenuous the next attack is. But yeah it's defiently going to be a bit slower to attack

So, I'm reffing Terrain moves. Do I use the descriptions from the Mew thread or the site? The match started after the mew thread thing, but I wasn't sure if they had been implemented yet.

Also, would Misty Terrain cure statuses that are already in effect, or just prevent new ones being added?

Dunno 'bout the first question, but Misty Terrain will not heal status.

Does Heal Bell clear the status of the opposing Pokemon on the field? Like, I know that anything that can hear the move will have status healed off. I just want to be sure of this.

It'll clear the mental statuses, yes. Physical statuses, though, need contact.

If a Pokémon that just got angered by Swagger is then Snarled by a super-scary Pokémon, will they be scared and angry? Will the status effects cancel each other out? Will only one remain?

I'd almost kinda think that the Snarl would just make them even more pissed off.

Could the rocks from a rock tomb be used for stealth rock?

Say, just to double-check...is Swagger considered a "Curse", or a Mental Status?

Also, if it's the latter, Ghost types shouldn't be effected by them very well...would they?

Swagger is a mental effect, and as such, is less effective on Pokemon with resistances to mental effects. It takes the mental state of the Pokemon into consideration. This is unlike Taunt, which is a curse, and ignores the mental state. Swagger and Taunt have little to do with each other. They work on a completely different basis, despite having similar effects.

I do believe that Ghost Types were changed to be resistant to curses instead of mental effects. As such, Ghost Types would not be resistant to Swagger. On the other hand, Psychic Types will indeed be resistant.

I'm on TA but hopefully can work out this while I'm off. Is magic!surf water energy or water? For the purpose I'm trying to work out how it will react with screens.

Surf is physical water, in both its default and Magic forms. It would break through Light Screen, and will be blocked by Reflect and Barrier because of this.

However, depending on the sizes of the two Pokemon, some of the Surf may leak by or over wall-form Reflect or Barrier, even if it does not break through. A screen's size is similar to that of the user, and Magic Surf also depends on the user's own size (Even though it is generally larger than the user). A larger wave and a smaller screen makes it more likely to leak through.

Thanks mew, the description makes it sound like its made of energy, hence " magic" surf.

So, I have some questions about Constrict... in what ways could someone "manipulate" their foe? And is it like Bind in a way where it's easier to manipulate them when they're tired?

All the Pokemon that use Constrict use tentacles to do so, while Wrap and Bind are more oriented towards Pokemon who coil around the opponent themselves, like serpentine Pokemon (Although exceptions do exist). Constrict, therefore, makes it easier for the target to be thrashed, thrown, or anything like that. While, with Wrap and Bind, the target is mainly stuck in one spot unless you get creative, Constrict allows them to be moved around as the user wishes. It is also less movement-restricting for the user. Although they still have a limited area to move in, they are not coiled around the opponent. You could treat it a little like Vine Whip, in that sense.

I indeed believe that a tired target would be easier to manipulate. This applies to physical restriction in general. A tired target, for example, will be easier to pin down.

Want to double check since ik this has come up in the past. Etheral ghosts take less damage from physical moves correct? They are not immune?

Ethereal Pokemon take 50% of the usual damage from physical attacks. Additionally, there is no longer a difference between physical moves with and without a glow, in terms of how much damage they deal to ethereal Pokemon. That is, both Pound and Thunder Punch will deal 50% of the usual damage.

You can find more information about Ghost Types here.

Um...this may seem like a stupid question, but...Can Whirlpool snag targets in midair?

Also, if a tired user of said attack lost energy beforehand, wouldn't it take even longer to even attempt it, so much that an opponent can get a chance to attack again?

One more thing! If used out of water, is there some sort of "Depth" to Whirlpool, so much that a smaller opponent will be in serious trouble if they were caught in it?

Under Switch = Gym, the Gym Leader is incapable of utilizing conventional switches. This means that they can still use U-Turn, Baton Pass, etc. but cannot just switch out without those moves.

On the other hand, the challenger can switch normally, utilizing both conventional and move-based switches as they wish.
