Get up and Double Team him to try and avoid the Discharge, then show him your Strength again by crushing him with a boulder.

With Vigoroth on top of him once more, Replay has but one solid option: Electrocute the bugger until he gets up. He does so with a passion, discharging electricity straight into Vigoroth's gut, causing him to leap up in pain. Now that he's off of the little mouse, though, Vigoroth finds that he has orders with which to comply. He begins to hop around once more, but he's so tired that he can only manage to create a single clone from his second double team of the day. Replay, having been through this charade one too many times, simply focuses on the right-hand clone and releases a second discharge of electric energy straight at the sloth. His decision proves true, as the target writhes with pain once more and the left-hand image fades into nothingness.

By now, Vigoroth is done playing games. He turns to his right and grabs a boulder, using his strength to heft it onto his shoulder. With a heave, he hurls the large rock at Replay, who is too exhausted to do anything but whimper in horror as he is smacked in the face. The rock shatters as it hits the ground, and Replay looks like he's out cold. Yeah, he won't be getting up any time soon.

Replay is unable to battle! Turtrain, your second Pokemon, please!

Summary

Vigoroth really isn't far from joining Replay. Energy isn't looking too hot, either. He could use a break, but he may want to forego that considering his condition.

Turtrain, mon and orders

Try an Icy Wind to douse that Incinerate, then trap him quickly with a Rock Tomb. If that works, bury him with rubble via RocK Slide.

Three-mover confirmed.

Chapter 9: Night-Night

Recalling his fallen Companion, Turtrain takes a moment to select his next champion. His fingers gloss over the Pokeballs on his belt, and he finally selects one. He tosses it into the arena, releasing a spunky fire-ape known as Chimchar. This particular Chimchar, named Trippy, decides to do some minor stretching as his Characteristics are brought up on the jumbotron.

Quote:

The members of Chimchar line are extremely good climbers, allowing them to scale most walls and surfaces and swing from vines and branches with ease. The Chimchar line gets a boost in the power of its Fire attacks when low in health.

[Fire]: Fire types love hot temperatures. Most can survive in hot liquids/molten lava for an extended period of time (indefinitely in the case of Magby, Magmar, Slugma and Magcargo). If a fire Pokémon has a flame somewhere on its body, it will take extra damage if a water attack hits the flame. Otherwise, fire Pokémon are not adversely affected by taking dips in bodies of water, so long as the time is short (except for the above 4 Pokémon, who will take damage the longer they are in the water). Instead of being automatically 2x weak to Water, they take 150% of the damage if hit on their bodies, but take 210+% if hit on open flames.
With his stretching out of the way, Trippy is ready to send Vigoroth to la la land - which is precisely what the little monkey does. Despite being on a rocky arena, the monkey fires a wall of fire with the power to incinerate an entire forest. With nothing to burn on this arena, however, the wall won't last long. Vigoroth sees the wall and makes his best effort to blow an icy wind to cool the flames and lessen the damage while doing something to Trippy, but he can't act fast enough, and the flames engulf him before he can put them out. As they peter out, leaving Vigoroth's fur singed, the sloth collapses, unable to continue.

Vigoroth is unable to battle! PROXIMA, your second Pokemon, please!

Summary

Trippy took the slightest bit of damage from the wind, but didn't really feel any of the chilling effects that accompany the attack when used to its full effect. Energy looks pretty danged good, too.

PROXIMA, mon and orders please.

Well it was worth a try. Good job Viggy, return.

Cubone you're up. Catch him off guard with a Bulldoze then smack him about with a Bonemerang.

Protect from bulldoze then get out of there with Uturn, you can't do much against a Cubone, but Jet-Tail can!

Chapter 10: LolNope

With Vigoroth down, PROXIMA is quick to counter the primate opponent. With a deft flick of the wrist, a new Pokeball is thrown into the arena, releasing a Cubone, who stands there smashing the ground with his bone club while his characteristics are brought up.

Quote:

Cubone cannot use their respective “Bone” attacks (Bone Club, Bonemerang, etc.) unless they are holding their bone.

[Ground]: Ground Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 75% the normal damage from electric attacks. If a ground type is wet, electric attacks affect it normally (unless the Pokémon is naturally wet/slimy, like Quagsire).
As a way of greeting, the little Cubone stomps the ground. Hard. Powerful shock waves radiate out from the small creature, ready to bulldoze over Trippy like he's nothing. The monkey, however, isn't worried, and simply creates a protective green bubble around him to shield him from harm. Upset that his first tactic failed, Cubone hurls his bone at Trippy, and it smacks the monkey straight in the head before he can react. Less than half a second later, Trippy hears something behind him and turns to be thwacked a second time by the bonemerang. Not wanting to come to any more harm, Trippy gathers bug energy around him and charges at Cubone. the little guy remains stationary and braces himself as Trippy collides, but before Cubone can react in any way, Trippy has made a sudden U-turn directly back into his Pokeball. In his place stands a new opponent, a Buizel by the name of Jet-Tail who is more than ready to finish this fight.

It uses significant energy. When an opponent hits the Aqua Shield with a physical move, it is swept up in the current and thrown out, and the lighter the pokemon is, the farther it is thrown and more damage will be caused. This also only blocks one move, and doesn't block special moves.

Buizel (Water): Buizel uses its tails similar to a propeller. This allows it to control its speed in the water and make sharp turns with great ease. By using a move, it can also hover over the ground slightly by rapidly spinning its tails, but each round its sustained costs good energy. The ring around its neck can be used as a floatation device, making it hard to force underwater.

[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
Summaries

Cubone took a wee bit of damage. Nothing to fret over, really. Energy expenditure looked pretty high, but he still looks relatively fresh and should be good for two next round.

Trippy took some damage there and his energy use was pretty bad, but hopefully he'll manage to gain some of that back while he rests in his Pokeball.

Jet-Tail is fresh as fresh can be and is ready to roll.

With a new, virtually completely fresh duo now in the ring, Both sides opt for the classic competitively-influenced stat-boosting round. While Jet-Tail forces some fighting energy into his extremities to bulk himself up, Cubone engages in a sacred dance, spinning round and round while wielding his bone-club like a sword. While Cubone's dance has given him a pretty sharp boost in attack and overall strength, Jet-Tail seems to be more balanced, receiving slight boosts in both the attack and defense categories. With his preparations completed, Jet-Tail feeds energy into his tail, preparing for an aquatic assault of sorts. He charges at Cubone, ready to whip his tailstraight into that insolent creatures fossil-covered face, but Cubone has other plans. Once more he stomps his feet against the ground, channeling ground energy into it as the shockwaves radiate outwards. In addition to shaking Jet-Tail up quite a bit, the Buizel is unable to keep his footing and falls to the ground, his attack failing miserably.

Summaries

Cubone took no damage this round, and energy wasn't bad at all. He should be fine. Oh, and he's rocking the SD boost.

Jet-Tail took a fall this round, but energy was relatively conservative, all things considered. Bulk-Up boost for him.

Chapter 12: Crushed

While clearly having a typing disadvantage, Cubone has absolutely no plans of going down without a fight. Hefting his bone club, he beats the ground twice, then three and then four times, channeling rock energy through his club and into the ground. The earth beneath Jet-Tail begins to shudder, but he trusts his master, so he holds his ground. With a loud crack as the ground begins to tear apart, four heavy slabs of rock rise from the earth around Jet-Tail, closing him off from the outside world and entombing him within.

Cubone, having been successful with the first part of his plan, pauses for a moment, wary of any escape efforts from the sea weasel. From his view, nothing seems to be happening, though, so he goes right ahead with his plans, taking a flying leap towards the rock formation. as he nears it, he rears back and delivers a roundhouse kick to the base of the formation, causing it to slide across the ground, folding in on itself from the bottom like a sandwich. As the walls of the tomb slam together, a loud yelp can be heard through the ruckus. Cubone, hearing this, smirks triumphantly, but he is to be sorely disappointed.

As he stands there, basking in the glory of his apparent accomplishment, a small crack appears a few feet behind him. It widens slowly, growing exponentially quicker until Jet-Tail shoots out of the hole. He seems to have used dig to avoid Cubone's assault, although it doesn't look like he got away completely unscathed. The rocks look to have crushed his tail, which might hinder the power of any attacks he uses that involve slamming his tail into something. Visibly smarting and not at all happy, Jet-Tail sets his sights on Cubone as the ground-type turns around. Staring Cubone straight in the eyes, the Buizel smiles before opening his mouth wide and fires a nasty hydro pump which crashes into Cubone, pushing him back and into the wall of the rock formation as the water chips away at his very soul. As the water slows to a stop, Cubone looks bruised and battered, but manages to get back to his feet. He's not done fighting just yet.

Summaries

Cubone doesn't look too good. Well into his first third of health, probably nearing the middle third. Energy wasn't awful, but he could probably go for a break. Rock is a bit over half.

Jet-Tail's tail is hurting, but she's better overall. While she doesn't require a break next round, she wouldn't exactly be against one, either.

Just to clarify, my previous two attacks were boosted due to swords dance right? They're physical in game, just not sure of how that applies in ASB.

Anywho, Thunder Punch his face off (not really, just hit him anywhere I don't care), than dodge that scald while dealing some damage via Dig.

Ok so we have more evidence as to why I shouldn't ref when I'm tired. In the reffing itself I had him as male, but apparently genders change in summaries. My bad.

.
Tomb doesn't do damage in the asb, but since slide is influenced by a kick, I did factor in a boost there.

1, it's only been 4 days. No need to bump. 2, there's nothing bumping will do. The reffing is sitting in kush's inbox waiting for him to have the extra time to deal with it.

With his tail still smarting after being crushed by rocks, Jet-Tail is going to have to shy away from his namesake. That doesn't mean, however, that he won't be bringing the pain down upon Cubone. Thrusting his right hand out and away from his body, the buizel's open hand begins to glow with the ruby-red aura that signifies fighting energy. throwing his arm behind him, Jet-Tail leaps at Cubone, covering the few feet between them very quickly. He brings his arm around from the side, delivering a stunningly powerful karate-chop to Cubone's neck. The chop contains enough energy to break a brick into a tiny pile of rubble, and it's a wonder it doesn't shatter Cubone's neck. As it it, Cubone is knocked off to the side, where he crashes into another still-standing wall of the remaining rock tomb.

Visibly furious at Jet-Tail's guts, Cubone hops to his feet once more. He pulls his own right fist back as it crackles with a potent electrical charge. He thrusts forward, doing just as his trainer had enthusiastically ordered, and punches the Buizel straight in his smug weasel face. With a crack of thunder, Jet-Tail is thrown backwards, Visibly shaking from the force of the shock. As he rights himself, visibly shaking, a look of pure hatred can be seen in his eyes. In such a short time, he has developed a pure hatred for the Cubone, and he has decided that, no matter the cost, he will end Cubone this day.

Using some fire energy to heat the limitless supply of water within him, Jet-Tail fires a scalding hot jet of water straight at Cubone. The cubone looks to dig his way to safety, but is only halfway into the ground when the water smacks into his backside, dealing a nasty bit of damage and leaving a bright red burn smack in the middle of his read end. With a yelp of pain, Cubone continues making his way underground. With no way to track his opponent, Jet-Tail has no choice but to stand in wait, wary of where Cubone is. After a few moments, the ground directly under Jet-Tail opens up and Cubone shoots out, knocking Jet-Tail to the ground with a pretty good hit. The round comes to a close as Jet-Tail rises to his feet once more, barely two feet between the two fighters.

Summaries

Jet-Tail was no stranger to damage this round, but he looks to have just entered his middle third of health. Energy is into the middle third, too, and he could definitely use a break. Fighting has a bit more than half left. Fire's okay for now too.

Cubone must have this thing for being hit by trucks, taking another huge amount of damage. He's nearing his final third. He's got a burn on his rear end and he needs a break, too.

Chapter 14: The Key Phrase was "Needs a Break"

Both Pokemon are getting tired, but neither side is willing to let up for fear of the other side gaining any sort of advantage. With the close proximity, Cubone glares at Jet-Tail through his skull helmet, leering into the Buizel's eyes. The water weasel is so intimidated by the fierce glare of the opponent that he is physically locked into place. This temporary paralysis, although temporary, gives Cubone just enough time to run over to a small boulder and heft it over his head with one arm in a colossal feat of strength.

With a jolt, Jet-Tail feels himself breaking free of his temporary paralysis to see Cubone standing about ten feet away, a boulder above his head. Foregoing his orders to use brine, the weasel explodes in a suit of water as the energy pours from his very pores. As Cubone heaves the rock into the air towards Jet-Tail in a high, arcing toss, the aquatic weasel uses the energy to propel him forward at an incredible speed. He jets straight under and past the boulder, which passes over him and crashes to the ground harmlessly, and then slams into Cubone with all his might, dealing a hefty blow. Both parties stumble backwards, putting about six feet between them as the round comes to a close with Cubone panting heavily while Jet-Tail looks marginally better.

Summaries

Cubone took another big hit this round, and is into his final third of health. His Swords Dance boost has basically worn off. Energy is into the middle third. He still wants a break, and if he doesn't get one, he'll tire out much faster.

Jet-Tail avoided damage this time. He enjoyed the unintentional one-mover, and looks to be okay for two next round. His boost is gone, as well.

Turtrain to order

Turtrain to order actually, I think.

Also I don't think Jet-Tail would really forego his order just to dodge my attack and hit me. I know 'mon are supposed to have self preservation and all that, but foregoing his trainers orders, completely dodging my attack as well as hitting me and giving himself a break this round seems a little... Off. As in a bit too convenient for Jet-Tail. If Cubone was standing there with a huge boulder I don't see how self preservation would warrant him charging towards him. If it were me, I'd be putting distance between myself since Cubone could easily just have used his own self preservation tactics to not throw it in a huge arcing moition and instead maybe, idk, roll it at him, or not throw it as high, or just drop it on him as he got close, or slam it down on him as he got closer. Since we're both tired I don't believe both 'mon would think that quickly and efficiently.
