Sophie

Psychic twice, try to time it to stop his attacks, but focus on the damage. If the chicken escapes, hit its replacement with Psychic.

not 3.

Round 7: MOTHER OF HOLY TYPESPAM

As firewater recalls his fallen Mantis, he sends out another Pokemon that has caused quite the stir in the community for being just plain fucking awesome. Oh yes, and beating Zapdos. firewater brings out a Metagross, by the name of S.O.P.H.I.E. This one is his level-up, so it might come with some funky advantages. Or not.

SOPHIE has the energy advantage this round, being completely fresh compared to the stale Rigel, but she waits a bit in order to time her Psychic attack in order to disrupt her opponent's plays. Rigel is more than happy not to be immediately attacked, and raises his leg up into the air, prompting SOPHIE to immediately respond by blasting out a wave of psychic energy towards Rigel, the energy moving across the field pushing away some dust and pebbles as it flies towards Rigel. This doesn't stop his attack though as his leg slams into the ground, just moments before the psychic wave slams into him. His leg had managed to create an Earthquake that rushes across the Pumello field and hits SOPHIE causing a metallic grunt to ring from her as she takes a nice hit in damage. But one can also here audible groans from the other battler as the psychic wave slams into hit for some very nice damage. He gets back up, however, and immediately goes into his next attack, breathing in a massively massive breath to prepare for the majorly overpowered blast of fire and heat. SOPHIE sees this and responds with another blast of psychic energy that runs across the arena. Rigel has already gotten somewhat through his attack, and breathes out a pillar of flames that simply is massive, but the wave hits him in the middle, causing his flames to fizzle out and result in a partial Overheat that hits SOPHIE, but this still doesn't mean it won't deal a lot of damage to her. Rigel then pants heavily, the attack still taking quite the toll out on him.

Condition:
Rigel took a lot of damage this round, and he is literally in tatters. Most attacks should KO him at this point. Energy wise he used a lot, and he will be a bit tired going into next round. Ground is almost shot, and Fire attacks are weakened.

SOPHIE took a lot of damage, now looking to be over the first quarter in health. Energy use is high, but she isn't tired at the moment

Volcarona, start out high a fair distance away.

Start with a bug buzz, then tune up the heat with flamethrower.

Round 9: We now bring you your regularly scheduled reffing.

After Rigel put up quite a fight, Haymez recalls him back before sending out his next Pokemon, a mighty Volcarona. An awesome, awesome Pokemon and I just love it to death.

Volcarona starts off by creating a loud buzz and then filling the shock waves with bug energy. SOPHIE is a little quick however, and suddenly, a simmering wall of light appears in front of the machine and solidifies. The shockwaves hit the screen and cause multiple cracks to form in it, but the screen holds, if only barely. SOHPIE lets out a machine's equivalent of a sigh before Volcarona then shoots out a massive pillar of flames at the screen. The screen holds if only for a second before the flames break through and scorch the machine, causing a loud groan to be heard as the flames easily damage its steel hide. SOPHIE shrugs off the attack and channels its telekinetic abilities into creating a massive rockslide that moves towards his opponent, slamming him hard. Yeah, I'm getting a little tired. :/

Condition:
Sophie is under half at the moment, though barely so. Energy use was high but she isn't tired. Rock is a little low.

Volcarona took a lot of damage this round, and its energy use was high.

Move in close as you hit it with flamethrower, then roast it with overheat point blank.

ROUND 10: CAN YOU FEEL THE HEEEEEAAAAAATTTTTTTT?

SOPHIE is taking a defensive set-up against her opponent, and begins to float away while drastically changing the gravitational pull around her. Yes, this is THAT technique, which has basically become standard for Metagross everywhere, Gravity, a powerful technique which causes airborne opponents to go SPLAT across the ground. And that is exactly what happens, well, with less splatting, and Volcarona hits the ground hard. It's able to...well do something at least...I'm not exactly sure what in the world you would call it but I think hopping is the word for it? Anyways, Volcarona tries to hop closer to its opponent yet I think Metagross might have the mobility advantage so Volcarona isn't closing the distance any time soon and its not exactly turning well either. Volcarona breathes out a mighty pillar of flame at its opponent, this one hitting Metagross on the side and causing some really nice damage, SOPHIE grunting and cursing the while, but still keeping away from the giant death moth that is Volcarona. Volcarona then breates out a larger, more massive pillar of flames, but Metagross sees this coming(well, yeah, but the point is made) and manages to dodge nearly all of it seeing as Volcarona isn't getting close anytime soon and Metagross can still move under Gravity. But some of it hits, to SOPHIE's immediate displeasure.

Condition:
SOPHIE may have avoided the KO this round, but she is still in tatters, coming into her last big of health but not quite critical. Energy use was high but it was a kinda one mover.

Volcarona took no damage but used a shitton of energy, so its tired plus its fire attacks are weakened.

The goal was to move before gravity took effect, but that's fine I guess.

Bulldoze to stop the Heat Wave, then Rock Slide. If you don't have the energy reserves to do the Rock Slide, a Psychic will suffice.

Round 11: Fighting back, valiantly~

Volcarona is pretty tired out after the pretty massive energy expenditure last round, but he tries to go into another fire attack in the hopes of finishing his opponent of. He takes a deep breath in, but all of a sudden something weird happens...Volcarona is doing some kind of belly flop on the ground. I've never seen that ever done in a fire type attack...oh wait now I get it. SOPHIE is using Bulldoze in an attempt to disrupt her foe's concentration and keep them from using their attack. It is largely successful, as only a little bit of hot air comes out of Volcarona and moves towards SOPHIE, who takes a little bit of damage from that but its actually not much, Volcarona's fiery attacks don't seem as potent this time around. Meanwhile Volcarona groans a bit at the bulldoze, but is still hanging in there.

Metagross then channels his terrakinetic abilities and moves the rocks around the arena, into a giant rock slide. Well, this one is somewhat smaller than the last one he created, but it still gets the job done quite well, the rocks slamming into Volcarona causing it to screech in pain, taking a 3x attack is never, ever pretty. Volcarona is pushed backwards bit by the powerful attack, and at the end of the round the two are a bit of a distance away from each other.

Condition:
Volcarona did not like taking that Rock Slide, and is now under half by a little bit. Energy use was a bit high, but it was a one-mover. Under the first third on energy.

SOPHIE took a little bit of damage, just on critical. Energy use was decent. Rock is empty, Ground is a little bit over half.

Combine your flying ability with magnet rise to get off the ground.

If you're airborne, flare blitz. Else just chill.

Round 12

So this round begins rather easily in fact. Metagross concentrates its psychic energies, affecting the air in front of it. Right before your eyes, with not a trick in its sleeves, a screen of light forming in front of the Metagross, ready to protect it from all manner of special attacks. Volcarona sees this and decides that its really, really getting ticked off with the gravity in the arena and concentrates its own kind of energy, an energy of an electric kind. This energy pulses underneath it, and despite all logic to the contrary, Volcarona achieves some form of flight! Sadly, its barely a couple of inches off the ground, so its not much, but it does wonders for Volcarona’s mobility.

Then, Metagross proceeds to stomp the ground over and over again, causing a lot of shockwaves to move across the arena. Normally a Pokemon affected by Magnet Rise would be immune to this attack, but Volcarona is so low to the ground that the shockwaves still deal damage to it, causing it to hiss in anger. But then, Volcarona flies ahead, maybe not at top speed but fast enough, covered in fire energy as it goes to create a mighty blitz on its opponent. SOPHIE releases the danger but it can’t move fast enough, and Volcarona crashes through the Light Screen before smashing into SOPHIE, causing a metallic grunt before suddenly falling down. It seems SOPHIE’s computer chips have died.

SOPHIE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE

Condition:
Volcarona took some damage this round, now just barely above the final third. Energy use was high, with electric very low so it will need a break.

Round 13

After recalling the fallen Metagross, Firewater sends out his last Pokemon, a Marowak by the name of...ehh Marowak.

Marowak creates a ring of stones around himself, this ring of stones originally being a ring of energy but somehow through the magic of Pokemon became a ring of very sharp stones. He fires this ring of stones at Volcarona in a spiral, and the big is simply too tired to move out of the way of the attack, and screeches and hisses at the sharp stones as they pierce his skin and body and put tatters in his wings. Just as the last stone hits, Volcarona hisses out one final hiss before slumping over, the attack just pushing him over his limit.

Volcarona is unable to battle!

Condition:
Marowak used decent energy, and his rock energy is over half.

Khamsin my Flygon friend, let's do this.

Remembering the arena we're in, let's have you start out on the other side of the pool from him, clinging to the back of a convenient rock, with your head poking over the top.

Keep on your guard. Be ready to duck behind your rock should any ice attacks come your way. Set up a sunny day, then send a dragon pulse his way.

Sing while moving closer. Blast him with Blizzard when you get close enough, if he fell asleep. If not, then just get closer, dodge the Pulse when it gets to you.

Round 14

After seeing his Volcarona go die to a bunch of pointy rocks, Haymez recalls his fallen friend to send out what he thinks will hopefully be able to win this battle for him. He sends out Khamsin, the Flygon.

Khamsin is sent out and clings onto a rock on the other side of the pool, not ready to face his foe just yet because of the fear of ice type moves. He creates a small ball of energy inside of his mouth, this ball of energy no longer being a fire type ball but just a normal typed ball that is colored red. Yep, that works. Anyways, he sends that ball of energy into the air, it rising quickly into the sky, causing whatever clouds that were in the sky to part apart and the sun to get a little bit brighter, though it doesn't have much of an impact right now, needing a couple more rounds to go to full strength. Marowak is ready for this, however, and gets closer to Khasim while singing out a round of song into the air, this song being a sort of lullaby laced with a sleepytime energy. Khasim begins to get sleepier and sleepier, drowsier and drowsier, before finally after listening to the song long enough he closes his eyes and falls down off of the rock, going to sleep just as Marowak gets in sight of him.

Marowak is close enough that he is able to attack, and so he takes a very deep breath in, the sleeping Khasim being completely unaware that he is going to get the raping of his life in about five seconds. He then breathes out, and all of a sudden his breath is turned into a massive blizzard! Full of snow, ice, rain, sleet, blistery cold winds, Vanillite, and all sorts of things you might find if you suddenly decided to walk out into a Blizzard. The Blizzard blows over Khasim, who is awakened quite abruptly and screams out in pain, the cold washing over him and making him cry out for dear mercy. The winds blow over him and he cries for his life but soon the Blizzard is over and all that is left is a shivering Khasim. Khasim looks for retaliation, and creates a small ball of draconic energy in his mouth before firing it at Marowak, the ball striking him and pushing him back and aways a little bit.

Condition:
Khasim took a lot of damage this round, now out of his first third. Energy use was somewhat high but not bad.

Marowak took some damage this round, but nothing bad. Energy use was high, but he isn't going to need a break. Ice is pretty much gone.
