Fog of War

Got a short break to do some reffing, so I'll make this quick before I have to go to work and finish financial registration for school. The round begins with Turtlelord releasing a cold fog of icy Mist to try and hid his location from his electrical enemy. This doesn't seem to bother Mareeps accuracy at all ,since Turtlelord hasn't changed locations at all since he's still very paralyzed, and proceeds to drop a Thunderbolt of the immobile turtle, before laying down for a Rest. Due to scientific reasons that I won't bore you with or that I currently have time to explain the new jolt of electricity frees Turtlelords muscles as he is finally able to move again and launches a Facade tackle which wakes Mareep up from her rest with some status boosted damage.

Turtlelord is barely outside of his final quarter, making energy the least of his worries.

Mareep is close to halfway through the first quarter of health and has left her first quarter of energy behind.

The mist will cover the whole arena next round which will lower visibility for the both battlers.

OOC: Fog of War? I remembered Fire Emblem, especially Shadow Dragon. XD

TurtleLord, full powered Ice Beam! Make sure to fire it right after the enemy is done on his Magnet Rise. As for the Shock Wave, take it, retaliate with a fully charged Focus Punch!

Fire Emblem desert stages are way more annoying

Why couldn't there be a electric pig Pokemon I could make so many when pigs fly jokes, but instead of flying pigs we have flying sheep as Mareep uses Magnet Rise to get three rounds worth of hang time. If you've ever played Fire Emblem or Advanced Wars you'll have a good idea how the battle situation is like. Turtlelord is looking around wildly trying to find his foe in order to attack, his frantic searching isn't in vain as he spots a glowing blue in the mist as Mareep prepares a Shock Wave. The faint glow is all the turtle needed as he fires a frigid Beam of Ice toward the light for a direct hit. This sudden attack causes Mareep to lose focus on her attack and releases it early before she can properly aim it missing Turtlelord completely. Turtlelord's luck runs out as he tries to get a Focus Punch on Mareep, but completely misses , because in the mist he can't see that his foe is now airborne as he swings his fist at nothing but a shadow in the mist.

Both sides wasted energy this round thanks to the fog which will be clearing up in a few rounds.

Mareep is into her second quarter of health and use a ton of energy again and needs a breather.

Turtlelord fared a bit better this round than Mareep health wise by not taking any damage, but use way more energy putting him on par with Mareep even with the energy regained from rest.

OOC: I want to try Advance Wars. But I'm finishing FE for now. Zero, are you talking about Chapter 15 of Shadow Dragon, where Gharnef is there? That's annoying, and the mage sh*tness, and even the no-terrain-boost effect!

Anyways, TurtleLord, if he attacks with an electric attack, fire another Ice Beam before he fires the attack. Otherwise, kamikaze - Bide!

OOC: I was referring to the multiple fog stages in FE Blazing Sword.

Really guys I need more to work with than both Pokemon using defensive moves and just wasting energy this round. Yeah this is all you get for this round since I have nothing to work off of.

Mareep now has a defense boost and is at the door for the halfway point.

Turtlelord use a lot of energy for no reason this round.

OOC: Now I'm playing that game. I should be now at Chapter 13, but I failed to level up Nils to Lv.7, and use the Angelic Robe I got before in Lyn's story. So, back to Chapter 4.

Anyways, TurtleLord, take the wave! If you've got paralyzed, Refresh; otherwise, Toxic. Whtever the case may be, follow up with Ice Beam!

I got nothing for this title

Unlike a few rounds ago when Mareep last tried to use Thunder Wave the mist has cleared up a bit leaving her target a little bit more defined in the fog. She's rewarded with a faint cry as the tendrils catch the turtle unaware and proceed to grip him in a paralysis. Turtlelord has other plans as he begins to consume a large quantity of energy to cure his body of all ailments, but as he's doing so a Thunderbolt snuffs out the last of his health.

Turtlelord is unable to battle. New Pokemon and orders Nagasaki.

Mareep didn't take any damage but bypassed her halfway mark and is a sizable way onto her final quarter.

Another rather simple round with the battle worn sheep playing hard to KO. Nagasaki sends out one of my all time favorite a Gastly

Who begins the round by locking eyes with Mareep which turns into a painful mistake a the sheep releases a bright Flash of light blinding the ghost and stops Hypnosis in the process. Using her opponents temporary blindness and the last lingering traces of mist Mareep hides herself behind some of the larger boulders that scatter the arena in an artistic fashion. with his sight slowly coming back to him Shadow prowls the arena looking for his victim, but has no luck in finding the sheep as the round comes to a close.

Nothing much happened besides Mareep's energy use for Flash and insane luck with RNGs.

How does that even work?

Don't know how or why this works but Mareeps Thunder Wave grabs hold of Shadow and somehow paralysis something that doesn't technically have a body. Not having anything inhibited by this new status due to not having any true physical moves to use in the first place Shadow fires a wave of Puls(e)ating Dark energy at Mareep, but fails to flinch the sheep. Being of the gassy nature Shadow has no intentions of taking on the Zap Cannon and quickly Protects himself from its dangerous power.

Gastly took some light damage this round and used beyond extreme energy.

Mareep is still fine health wise but is into her final HB of energy.

There's always more than one way to win a battle

Thanks to the fact that Mareep has been moving around a lot in the past few rounds her Electro Ball gets a large power boost. However somethings wrong with her after she fires it she collapses to the ground unable to battle further thanks to Shadow's Spite like curse placed on her.

Mareep is unable to battle.

Shadow took heavy damage from the attack and used significant energy.

Up next for Chris is his final Pokemon a frillish.

Ghost vs. Ghost let's see who wins this type spam war. The match begins with Dark Pulses flying across the field neither of them causing a flinch. For some reason it seems that Shadow is going for broke as he begins charging a Zap Cannon, however another Dark Pulse causes him to release the attack to early. This could be considered a good thing for Shadow, (since Zap Cannons are relatively slow and easy for fresh Pokemon to dodge), because the early release of the attack caught Frillish off guard and he take the full attack for insane damage.

Frillish is now extremely paralyzed and is already very close to the 1/2 mark for health. Dark energy is gone.

Shadow didn't fair much better this round and only has a major amount of health left. Electric energy is about gone.
