Gallade UPN PASBL: DaisyInari vs. Sneezey12

I was jogging around the park to find something to do while waiting for my matches to move. I don't even know why I was jogging, I hate sports... But little did I know, my phone was ringing like mad while I was deep in my thoughts.

"Oh no... I hope it isn't mom again. She'll pulverize me ;-;"

I immediately checked who left the missed calls... luckily there was only one missed call... and luckily it wasn't my mom.

"Sneezey? What would he want from me?"

I dialed up the caller with a wondering mind and face.

Pesterlog:
Spoiler: show
Pingoo: Yo Sneezey, what's with the call?
Sneezey: Oh, I was going to ask you if you were an approved referee yet.
Pingoo:Nah man, I'm still working on Part B. Hopefully I can pass it in 24 hours or so. Is that all?
Sneezey: I see... well, I wanted you to referee my upcoming matches since you're pretty fast. I'm sure you'll do fine in your test. You'll improve anyway. Specifically, can you referee my match with Daisy, I already got her approval."
Pingoo: Really?! It would be my honor to referee for such ASBers. Text me the stats and I'll be right there.
Sneezey: Neat, see ya!

As I pocketed my phone, my face brightened with glee.

"I'm finally going to get more action! It's funny how I complain to myself on why I get so much matches but then I feel empty inside whenever there's too few or no movement at all. I just feel so happy making others happy. I shouldn't care about my matches anymore since I'm bound to lose anyway."

I took off on my trusty bicycle, moving up the highway and sparing no time in getting to the venue. I think I almost got ran over at times but whatever, adrenaline only helps me.

--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--

A referee walks in the city's famous zen garden, where people could rake the sand to whatever they want it to be. Doing so calms the soul, not only humans can benefit from this, as their Pokemon can do so with them.

He sees two trainers, ready with a bag full of battling needs, one is a girl and one is a guy. The girl is rather young and shows a happy and enlightening face, her name is Daisy and the referee seems to think of her as his superior despite only being a kid. The other guy is one who appears to be in his early 20's, he is shrouded with an aura of coolness and competence, surely he can put up a good fight. His name is Sneezey, the awesome husband of a person whom the referee seems to like drawing with. Both of them look at the newcomer and give him a warm greeting.

"Hey guys! I received your call! Thanks for choosing me as your referee. I'm not good... I'm only fast. I mean, you could have gotten someone like Tuner who can be fast and be good with less mistakes... So forgive me if I may have some moments of stupidity. I'm just a wittle kid after all."

After some talking and negotiating, the two trainers move to different sides of the garden as the referee places himself indian-sitting on top of one of the well-placed boulders on the field. He raises his hands and starts to speak.

"Welcome one and all to this fine match in this nice and calm Zen Garden. Today we'll have a match between Daisy-chan and Sneezey. Both are good ASBers with a newbie referee. Each trainer is allowed to send out 5 Pokemon against the other, one at a time. All Pokemon battling would be in their Level 3 form and level. Switching is forbidden, doing so will make the ASB gods angry and KO your Pokemon for the opponent. Each trainer is given 96 minutes (hours) to order before being eligible for disqualification. Because of my Cartoonator, this match would be of slapstick as such, injuries or wounds will not be permanent or serious."

Zen Garden Arena
The Zen Garden:
Spoiler: show

The arena is somewhat like this with that pond over there and some rocks scattered here and there.

It consists of a small pond in the corner of the arena, along with a few large boulders buried in the soft sand beneath, which is raked neatly. The arena is surrounded by a stone wall about 7 feet high. The arena seems to permeate an almost calm aura, and Pokemon battling in this arena seem to get a boost to their stats, as well as being able to maintain concentration. However, the stat bonuses depends in what shape the arena is in. At the start, when the arena is well-kept, the Pokemon will get a better stat boost. However, as the battle wears on, or attacks are used that cause area effects that would effect the order of how things are arranged in the arena (Sandstorm, Earthquake, etc.) the bonus will decrease for all Pokemon in the battle as the arena's neatness is removed by the participants.
Special Rules: Sandy, Boulders

"So since I have explained the arena, I would like to explain the order, just for the match's sake... despite me knowing that you too are good enough to know this while you're sleeping. So, Sneezey should come over here and tell me his squad, followed by Daisy-chan along with her Pokemon of choice for the first match-up. Sneezey comes here again with his choice and orders. Daisy counters his orders then I would reiterate what happened. After that the order of ordering is reversed and I ref and so on and so forth.

We have a long match ahead of us, so let's get things rollin'"

Thanks for reffing pengy. Good luck Daisy.

Maxim: Male Machoke (level 4) (level-up)
Bio: Maxim has a slight problem with his belt. This problem is that he doesn't like the fact that it only has two settings. So what did he do? He tried to "crank it up to 11". Unfortunately that didn't quite work and he just ended up breaking it. So instead he decided to attempt to crank up the power of any boosts he lays upon himself. Though they have to rely on Maxim's "protective" nature.
Special Training: MAXED OUT!
Any boosting move Maxim uses that boosts his Defense, or Speed grants an extra bonus to that stat of roughly 25% that of the original boost itself, and uses 25% more energy. Maxim cannot adjust the settings on his belt at any time. Any boost to Maxim's Special Attack or Special Defense only grants 75% that of the normal boost.

Amelia: Female Noctowl (level 3)
Biography: Amelia is a wise and courageous Noctowl, often offering sage advice to those who need it. It is her firm belief that any battle can be won if you push yourself to your limit and beyond, and it is this belief that she instills in her teammates.
Special Training: Stand and Fight!
Once per match, in any match that Amelia has a battle partner, should her partner be knocked out due to running out of health, the partner will instead remain conscious, but only with enough health that they will be knocked out with even the lightest of blows. This effect does not occur if the partner would be knocked out due to energy loss or via Destiny Bond and the like.

Tuan: Male Ponyta (level 3)
Biography: Tuan's coat is a pure white, with swirling dark purple flames and bright yellow eyes. Dispite the demonic appearance, however, Tuan is actually a decendant of the guardians of the underworld. As his bloodline was meant to protect against demons and their ilk, his flames carry an odd attribute to them.
Special Training: Purging Flame
Tuan's flame based attacks are filled with purging energy, causing them to turn a dark purple. These flames deal extra damage against Dark and Ghost types, which would be considered super effective damage, however they are not meant for use of those of good stature, and as such do half damage against Normal and Fighting type Pokemon. All attacks that fall under this description also cost 25% more energy than they normally would.

Brutus: Male Marowak (level 3)
Biography: Brutus is well... a brute. He loves getting up close and personal with his opponents, but this obviously means that Flying Pokemon are even more of a bane to him than normal. While he did know how to hit them at a distance, nothing really seemed to... shake them the way he liked to throw off the enemies that were rooted to the ground. He was inspired by the idea that the energy from Earthquake could be transfered directly into an enemy to shake them up, and decided to tweak it to work with his bone, and his ability to throw it.
Special Attack: 'Quake 'Rang (Ground)
Brutus charges Ground energy into his bone before throwing it as he would a Bonemerang. The bone shakes violently as it travels through the air, the Ground energy working as a direct contact Earthquake on the bone. When the bone strikes an object, usually the opponent, it transfers the energy into it, shaking it violently like a direct contact Earthquake was used on them. The bone does not return to Brutus as it would if it were a Bonemerang, however, as the shaking makes it impossible to throw it on such a course. The attack does damage of about .9x that of a direct contact Earthquake, using energy about 1.1x that of a direct contact Earthquake. This move can be used twice a battle.

Keaira: Female Sableye (level 3)
Biography: Keiara, being a Sableye, has always had a deep connection to the shadows around her. Inspired by her abilities involving shadows, Keira decided to go under training to use shadows further to her advantage, forming a strong attack out of them.
Special Attack: Totally Not Shadowball (Ghost/Dark)
Keiara draws shadows around her into a ball of energy which she then hurls at the target for extreme damage. If the arena is very dark, the charge time will be reduced slightly, but if there is very little shadow to draw from, it will take longer, at ref's discretion. Obviously if for whatever reason there are no shadows about, the attack is unusuable. This attack takes extreme energy, and can be used twice per battle, once as a Ghost type attack, and once as a Dark type attack. Charge time in an average arena is just over that of a Hyper Beam.

Miss Missy Miss: Female Mismagius (level 3)
Biography: Miss Missy Miss has always taken joy in staying awake for days on end, and I could never figure out as to why. After quite a while I determined that this problem was because she couldn't relax when it was time to sleep, disturbed by all the commotion around her. It was at this point when I got her a white noise machine, and she hasn't had a problem relaxing ever since. In fact, she liked the white noise so much that she would just start letting out sounds of her own to mock it, calming herself down in the process.
Special Training: White Noise
Whenever Miss Missy Miss uses Screech, she is benefitted with the same boosts associated with a Calm Mind. Her Screech attacks now use 25% more energy, and may only be used twice per match. Also, because she respects how difficult it is to get sleep sometimes, she will not purposely use damaging attacks against sleeping opponents, and has foregone her learning of Nightmare and Dream Eater.

Man, looking at all of Sneezey's sigs makes me wish I weren't so lazy and uncreative with making my own :'D

Also yay for Equiall!

Nimbus the Lv4 uplevel shiny female Altaria
Special Training: Cute and Fluffy
Nimbus is so adorable and loving that her attacks involving appealing to the opponent are more effective. She gains the moves Charm, Sweet Kiss, and Lovely Kiss, but loses Dragon Rush, Fury Attack, Outrage, Rage, and Swagger. Those moves are too mean and angry for such a sweetheart like Nimbus, so she refuses to know them.

Longshot the Lv3 shiny female Octillery

Mango the Lv3 shiny female Primeape

Cayenne the Lv3 shiny female Heatmor

Orchid the Lv3 shiny female Cradily

Aquavolt the lv3 shiny female Lanturn

Longshot, my golden cephalopod, I choose you~

An Octillery? ...k

"Keaira, time to wreak a little havoc. I'll be sending you out on top of one of the nearby boulders. Use initiative to your advantage and start with a Snarl, then jump back behind the boulder and Calm Mind."

Aw poop, a place where you can take advantage of boulders. I hope this doesn't turn out like Dave vs Dave D:

Anyway, is it too late to say that Longshot was released in the pool? Let's just say she's in the pool.

Dive down a bit to let the water distort the Snarl a bit before resurfacing and doing a plain ol' Round~

Gallade Round 1: Glub Glub

The trainers calmly come over to the kid referee to state their squads. They go back to their places and draw out their Pokeball of choice. The amayzee Daisy is up first, she grabs one of those shiny balls and throws it up into the air. A bright red flash envelopes the field as a silhouette solidifies out of it. In an entrance filled with sparkle and shine comes a special looking octopus. It isn't the normal one we know as this one appears to be shiny and unique! Out comes Longshot, Daisy's resident Cephalopod.

Octillery are fastest in water, though they can move somewhat well on land.
Water: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
An interesting choice from the bird-lover of ASB. Octilleries have a wide movepool and are somehow popular with the older folks of the league. Daisy appears to be the only one owning a shiny one, fitting her shining personality.

She flashes a smile and Longshot does the same. Clearly, her cheery attitude has passed on to her Pokemon. This tentacled creature is here for fun in battling, and I'm sure Sneezy would be more than capable of giving him that as he gets his own metallic red and white ball. He tosses it, and out comes a 'mon from the Hoenn region. The very first no weakness Pokemon in the games, he sports the ability to climb walls, and sparkly sparkly eyes. A purple goblin with sharp teeth and claws. This Pokemon proves to be a scary being but within this arena, is nothing more than a fellow teammate for Sneezey. We have... Keiara the female Sableye!

Dark: Dark types can see in the dark. They prefer to fight at night, however light does not adversely affect them.
Ghost: See the ghost Pokémon rules and individual Pokémon listing.
This is a good match-up folks, there isn't a clear advantage for each competitor but who knows what these trainers have up their sleeves. Will their movepool prove to be the deciding factor of this match? Let's wait and find out!

Both of them are sent out near the pool with Longshot already beside it. The goblin smirks with a somehow calming aura before letting loose a blood-curdling Snarl, Longshot immediately Dives down into the pond but the boosted attack was able to get through the water for a weakened blow. She gets irritated by the fact that the opponent managed to dodge her perfectly executed dark attack. No matter, as long as she has shadows and this nice calming field, she'll be alright.

Realizing that the missed attack wasn't such a big deal for now, she goes into the same indian-sit position the referee is in and starts to Calm her Mind by meditating. The completely dark nature of this Pokemon is overridden by the meditating aura. The cute cephalopod wonders what's he doing, feeling lonely, she sings a Round of tunes in hope of Keiara joining her, so they can have a girl's night out at the karaoke. This doesn't work as planned instead, shocks the Sableye out of meditation, the arena helps her maintain some of the boost but the interruption removes the extra boost the attacks give to her main types. Keiara breathes in and calms herself to prevent herself from freaking out in this lovely environment.

The arena this round didn't take any kind of damage, it's still in tiptop shape. Longshot is in the water singing happily while Keiara continues to indian-sit on the ground. Everyone is still in a fine mood, particularly one with their inner self finding Zen in this beautiful sand Garden.

So since this is a special match between special competitors I made a lot of graphics for it. Including a match status indicator!

Let's pretend those ugly white spaces are intentional and not some kind of Photoshop mistake (Grrrr)

Summary:
Keiara took the full hit from that Round and has started his trip to half. His energy usage was fine and he is still fresh for calm combat.

Longshot took half of the Snarl but received less damage this round. She's ahead in health by a tiny tiny bit. Her energy levels are fine as well, around at par with Keiara.

If you guys see any mistake feel free to point them out. Any question or inquiry is welcome as well. ^^.

Your move Daisy-chan.

Gallade Round 2: Pew Pew

The unarmed combat rages on and for once... at the rate a real match should! The two trainers show different preferences as Daisy-san uses a more indirect approach by texting me her orders. Of course, I had to tell Sneezey as well. He just orders his Pokemon traditionally instead of making me do it.

A breeze blows over the arena, making the hair on everyone's heads sway with it. The sun shines on Keiara's eyes, making it gleam with light. The sunny octopus keeps up her happy facade with a big grin and careless eyes. She inhales an unnatural amount of air, making her head a bit enlarged. Keiara continues her journey to find her true self. She clasps her hands together as her eyes start to glow sparkling blue. Longshot exhales and shoots out a stream of jet black ink in an attack called Octazooka! At the same time, the goblin makes her palms face the calm cephalopod and unleashes a Psychic blast. The invisible forces moves through the air and intercepts the misplaced pen liquid. It disperses the murky attack, splashing a bit of it back at Longshot's face. This angers her a bit but she holds herself back, tilting and twisting her head, trying to figure out what just happened.

She clears her eyes of the little amount of ink... calmly of course. She starts to glow with her Hidden Power. After a few seconds, a colorful line of orbs surround her. These are colored blue, same as her aura. Keiara glows once again, this time of a yellow hue. Both of them unleash their attacks at the same time, making a natural light show ensue. The Sableye's attack takes the form of a Wave of bolts of electricity arching up into the air before striking the target as if being attracted to it. The orbs are launched as well, but at a linear path toward the Sableye. Both attacks fail to make interaction with each other, resulting in both of the Pokemon getting hit by each other's moves. Keiara's attacks particularly Shocks the happy Octopus. The super effective moves makes her stiffen a bit before letting out a painful cry for help, clearly not liking the typespam. Daisy shows a bit of worry as her Pokemon is battered.

The arena is still in top shape, the Psychic wave messes up a bit of the sand but shouldn't be too bad. The boost still is at its best.

Summary:
Longshot had a tough round compared to the previous one as she took a lot more damage this round than Keiara. She is now closing in to midpoint. Her energy usage was at par with the enemy, still at around the same levels with Keiara.

Sneezey's Pokemon had it much better this round with perfectly timed and executed attacks. Keiara took neutral damage from that water typed Hidden Power. She used the about the same amount of energy the Octillery has, making their energy levels still tied.

Gallade Round 3: Thank The Zen

The sun is shining upon the field. The sand dances through the air, being blown by the refreshing wind. The light hits the white sand, spreading glimmers and shimmers across the arena. Everyone is calm as they could be. The arena is calling... for a sweet siesta on the seemingly comfortable sand. The referee lays still on one of the boulders, looking as though asleep but is actually just meditating. Longshot splashes in the pond trying to take her mind off the typespam. Meanwhile, Keiara lays still happy with herself.

After some silence, the goblin starts us off with a totally not menacing smile and a stomp with her feet. When you're happy and you know it //shot. Longshot follows orders and starts to emit a high-pitched sound... no... a Supersonic sound. The frequency ruffles the water around the octopus. Keiara starts to twitch because of the sound but the arena helps her maintain her concentration enough for her to finish erecting the Tomb of Rock.

Longshot gets frustrated a bit but just disregards what happened due to the mysterious aura surrounding this arena. She just chills there and splashes around in the water, making cute bubbles and doing other cute stuff. Keiara rubs her temples as the head ache from the sound is awful. She gets over it in a while but then... absolute silence falls upon the arena. I swear I could hear some murmuring coming from the tomb though. It seems he's Plotting his next actions... particularly Nasty ones. The plans require a boost in her long ranged destructive capabilities, and so it was done.

The arena is a bit rattled with all the sound moves and terraforming moves going around. So the boost it gives is lowered by a bit.

Summary:
Longshot used little energy compared to Keiara thus getting the lead in that aspect. She took no damage so her health levels stays the same.

Keiara had a nice round as everything went according to plan. She now has a good good boost with the Calm Mind and Nasty Plot. She's in a Rock Tomb created by herself. Her energy usage was higher, sending her closer to half and behind Longshot.

Daisy-chan!

Gallade Round 4: That Isn't Nice

Let's get down to business. Keiara is sitting calmly inside her dark tomb. She focuses her dark energy into a curse, onto the Octillery. She slowly flails her arms in a transfixing manner. She chants some words while Longshot is seen Focusing in her spot. She clasps her tentacles together into a meditating state. The focus she's attained is boosting her senses, including her attacking capabilities and her aiming and evasion is increased as well. Little did she know that her opponent was already Snatching the effect, leaving nothing for her.

"That wasn't very nice."

The goblin grins as her evil plan is setting into motion. The mastermind is no different as he gives an eerie smirk. He orders his Pokemon another boosting move.

"Remember these don't last forever~ The boosts will eventually fade."

Keiara showcases her already sharp Claws before starting to rub them against each other seemingly making them sharper and Honing her attack strength and her accuracy seems to have increased some more while Longshot is chillin' in the pool.

Summary:
Keiara took no damage and used more energy than Longshot, at this rate, she'll be KO'ed from energy loss before she can KO her enemy. She is now close to the midpoint. Calm Mind would wear off by the end of next round.

Longshot took no damage and appreciated the one-mover once more. She still is fresh on the energy side.

Your move Sneezey.

"Calm Mind once more. Then use your nice sharp claws to Dig your way out, making sure to pop out on the side of the tomb that puts the tomb directly between you and your opponent."

Gallade Round 5: Jeroo's Birthday~

Birthday Corner:
Spoiler: show
Ooooh, a round close enough to lil Jeri's 12th birthday~ I'm sure Daisy-chan will enjoy herself.

Okay, okay. Let's start with a round of Happy Birthday for Jerichi! You know what? I should do this to everyone that ASBs having a birthday. Just a little extra... but that would made I make more gifts o.o I don't see why not! Since it's Jerichi's birthday and he's in Spain, we shall sing it in Espańol!*

Cumpleańos feliz~
Cumpleańos feliz~
Te deseamos Jerichi~
Cumpleańos feliz.~

"Feliz duodécimo cumpleańos Jerichi!"

Longshot splashes around in the pool and shoots the confetti cannon while Keiara parties hard inside her tomb.

Confetti here, confetti there. Balloons with weird faces to and fro. This party is positively dainty~ Hope you have fun in Spain and hope you had a fun day. I'm sure I speak for everyone in ASB when it comes to that =w=

Remind me if I miss any birthday in my reffings ^^.

*No seriously, I'll sing it and record it.

Both parties go for repeat orders, but sadly, both of these are boosting moves and in turn, have less effects due to repetition. Keiara aims to open up her second step in the journey to complete domination. She focuses on clearing her Water Chakra by letting go of her guilt. I'm sure she did a lot of stuff before this, but the most recent one would probably be being mean to poor Daisy-chan and Longshot. She successfully does so and the energy begins to flow through, her Mind, Calm as ever. Sadly, the guilt blocks it once more as she feels guilty once more because of snatching the effects of her opponent's moves. Longshot Focuses on boosting her senses once again but this time with less power. She still uses Energy for it though. Now Keiara is some kind of boosted demon, boasting a array of different bonuses.

Using her newly sharpened claws, the Sableye attempts a prison break by Digging. Luckily, she was facing the direction of where her opponent was when she cast a curse. So she tunneled out the opposite way. She pops up behind the tomb in relation to Longshot. Her location perception is a bit off though as Longshot catches a glimpse of the goblin. She sings another Round of tunes for her friend, but this clearly isn't what her friend wanted.

Now it's cooking. The arena is getting more and more battered. The condition of the arena permits less boost than normal, around 3/4 of the supposed boost. Awww....

Summary:
Keiara took more damage for once but still is ahead. Her energy usage is still high as usual, but this time around Longshot's level, he still is behind. Her boosts are a lot, let's list em down. We have a weakened Calm Mind, a Nasty Plot to fade the round after the next one, two Focus Energies, one that is weakened, her senses are considerably improved, and a Hone Claws boost. Remember that these don't last forever. *I'll have to ask around about some boosts*

Longshot took no damage for once, no boost either. Her energy usage is more than usual but is still fresh as ever.

Your move Daisy~

Ah, sorry sorry!

This is what I get for forgetting that Snatch stays with you for a couple of rounds :<

Bubblebeam to keep him at bay should you see him. Protect once if any SE or really strong moves come your way. Otherwise, Round once more please~

Gallade Round 6: Hnnnggg

Keiara steps out of her safe zone into the playing field with Longshot in plain sight as this was what her trainer wants is it not? Longshot deems this her chance for some damage dealing and blows out a fast barrage of Bubbles from her yellow snout. Each bubble reflects the sunlight making a beautiful Beam of sparkles and rainbows appear. They make their way toward the cocky ghost type and each explodes upon contact, pushing the waltzing Sableye back. After the assault, Daisy and Longshot are surprised to see their enemy flashing a big fat smile at them. Little Keiara keeps a devious face as she starts mocking the yellow cephalopod. Longshot's once happy smile starts to flip into a frown and for once she starts to tear up. The Amayzee Pokemon couldn't take it no more and enters into a berserk state specifically called Raygee Mode for Daisy-tier Pokemon. The Taunts successfully do what they are needed to do and enrages Longshot, making her want revenge.

While the Octillery stays mad, Keiara starts charging up some electrical energy once again, making her glow with a yellow aura. As much as Daisy wants her Pokemon to stop the incoming onslaught, Longshot is too enraged and too vengeful to be able to use defensive moves. The electricity is released from Keiara's body and arc up before bouncing toward the waiting Octillery. She takes the typespam with spread arms and starts to cringe in pain as the Waves of electricity relays through her veins. She gets Shocked by the energy based attack, making her health plummeting down below half. The boosts are so plentiful that this attack does much much more than it should. Daisy panics as her Pokemon is in deep trouble.

Apparently, the assault doesn't end there as Sneezey decides to use up one of his two three-movers. The goblin opts to use her signature attack to finish off the adversary. She gathers power from the shadows hidden behind the rocks in the arena. This takes some times as there aren't that many but it is done. A Ball that is Totally not a Shadow Ball appears between her two sharp clawed hands. This big ball is shot towards the still enraged Octillery and makes a direct hit, making howling winds echo through the arena. With all the smoke that occurred from the very powerful attack, you can barely see anything. As it clears up, all you can see is an Octillery with the classic swirly eyes floating in the pond.

Longshot is unable to battle! Daisy please send out another 'mon!

Summary:
Keiara took some damage from the Bubblebeam but shouldn't be worrisome. Her energy levels on the other hand is taking a dip down and below half. She won't be moving much the next round as she's completely pooped.

Edit: Oops, almost forgot.... Belated Happy Birthday to Nth!

Return, Longshot. I'm sorry my friend, I wasn't thinking straight. You've done admirably~

Dark type? Choose a fighting type. Go Mango, my little green Primeape<3 Right next to Keiara~

Dynamic Punch, hope for confusion~ Stay close and go for a Close Combat afterwards~

Gallade Round 7: Totes Adorbs

Daisy calms herself down after the demise of her comrade. She goes over to the quaint pond and leans over the unconscious Octillery. Words escape her mouth as she pats the brave gal.

"Return, Longshot. I'm sorry my friend, I wasn't thinking straight. You've done admirably."

Longshot waves her arms, signalling she's okay before being recalled back into her Pokeball. Ripples form in the spot where the Pokemon once lay as Daisy returns to her spot to think about her next move. This takes no more than a few seconds as her answer seems clear... or does it? She grabs another Pokeball and flings it upward. With a razzle and a dazzle, sparkles galore, out comes a special primate, in fact, called Primeape~ A Pokemon from the Kanto region, holding the title of the best pure Fighter in the ASB realm with his vast movepool, and a wide array of Gen 1 gifts, is this Pokemon enough to turn things around?

Quote:

Fighting: Fighting Pokémon train extensively, more than any other Pokémon type, which gives them slightly greater endurance and energy.

When I see this unique Primeape, and of course hear its name, the first thing that comes to my mind is...

Spoiler: show

The Green Mango~ Not the Green Lantern, but the green mango! It is just unripe mango but this is usually eaten in the Philippines with fish paste (bagoong), sea salt or any other salty stuff. The salty sourness of it is delicious, and for some reason, sweet! Green mangoes are also used for fruit shakes and taste wonderful especially if iced... Wait, wait... I'm here to ref, not talk about food... Gosh. Sorry if I made you hungry ;-; Blame Mango.

The newcomer is sent out uncomfortably close to Keiara. With her hands supported by her knees, she pants heavily while sweat comes down her face. Mango takes note of this before giving us a show of her own. She winks at the crowd and pulls her right arm back with elbows pointed out. The boxing glove/hand starts to glow with power as her Dynamic personality starts to shine. She pauses a moment and lowers her body a bit as her heels raise. The bent knees act like springs as she speeds forward the tired foe. She lunges her energy-coated fist toward the face of the opponent with great speed before a flash occurs along with a loud crackle. Keiara is sent flying a few feet back as the sand in her path goes airborne. Mango goes after the target in order to prepare for her next move. She travels through the smoke, only to see Keiara waltzing on top of the sand. The goblin appears to be completely zonked without the taste of wine playing with her taste buds; the Punch jogs the Sableye's mind in the wrong way.

Spoiler: show

Keiara is all herp derp and doesn't even know what to do, let alone what she can do as she still is taking a break from the massive energy usage from the previous round. Mango isn't done with her assault as she goes all out. She hurls herself at the confused enemy but not without giving a heart-stopping leer. The tension is broken as she lets loose a series of fast jabs and kicks. Each one hitting the goblin with great precision, finesse, and power. The Close Combat proves to be one sided, because despite how the powerful jabs have shaken Keiara out of confusion, it's too late for her to do anything to escape right now. The brutal slaughter stops, leaving a bruised Sableye slumping on the ground.

Keiara is unable to battle! Sneezey, please send out another 'mon!

Now it's getting interesting folks. Too bad all of those boosts were wasted on only one Pokemon. I'm betting Sneezey only wanted and probably needed that first KO to be able to get ahead Daisy as his team has a counter for everything Daisy has to offer. Let's see what the esteemed Daisy can do to turn this around~

Summary:
Mango took no damage and is still fresh in that department. Meanwhile he used up beyond extreme energy and has used up a decent amount more than a bar of energy, accelerating her trip to midpoint. Since she's still new in battle, she's still fresh to fight, but not for long if she keeps this up.

Edit: Happy Birthday Jolteonjak!

Note: I'll be using standard energy and health usage terms for now, just to help me ready for the ref test. Which is to come... some time. ^^,
