If she had been standing steady and had a cool head she wouldn't have gone anywhere, but she was hardly focused on balance and much more on IMMABEATTHESHITOUTTAYOU

Reffing in a bit.

Round The Twelfth: Twelfth is a Weird Word

With Susan feeling rather winded from her rage, Belle is first to act this round, loosing an invisible bit of Psychic energy at her Camerupt foe. The Confusion gets to work instantly upon contacting the camel, barraging her mind with all sorts of confounding images, causing her some mental stress that results in pain. Still a little angered, Susan is also more susceptible to the secondary effect of the attack, and finds herself a little confused. Belle grins a bit as her foe's eyes glaze over, but her happiness comes too soon as it would appear that Susan has at least remembered the first of her orders, opening her mouth and hacking up a nasty Mud Bomb. The slew of mud coats Belle, including getting a little in her eyes, which will make her vision a little worse for the next little while. As Belle instinctively wipes the mud off her face it becomes apparent that Susan has forgotten her second order, or for that matter that she is in battle at all, deciding to munch on the grass a bit as the round comes to a close.

Susan took a nice hit, heading for the final midpoint. Energy use was low and she appreciated the break.

Belle is still on par with her opponent in health. Energy use was also low and the breather has resulted in a noticeable bit of pep.

Dave, orders please.

Oh well, I would've had a break this round anyway.

"Magnitude and Flame Burst, gal."

Use your psychic powers to levitate momentarily, avoiding the magnitude. Then, with your special senses, fire a Psyshock at 'em.

Round The Thirteenth: Seeing What's in Front of You

Belle starts off by using her Psychic powers to float in the air momentarily, attempting to avoid an attack from Susan, an attack which, judging by Susan's munching on the grass, is not coming any time soon. A little angered, Belle looses a Psyshock. The attack smacks Susan on the side for what feels to her like a physical hit, and knocks a bit of sense into the Camerupt. Now fully aware of her foe, Susan turns her head to Belle and breathes out a fair bit of fire. The Flame Burst explodes on contact, dealing a fair bit of damage and blowing away a lot of the mud from Belle's face, though the remaining mud quickly hardens from the heat, which will make Belle's vision continue to be impaired for a bit longer than usual... not that it's hard to see a huge camel. Additionally, due to the close range between the combatants, Susan manages to take a glancing bit of damage from the attack.

Susan took a decent hit, and has passed the final midpoint, with a strong hit being enough to take her down now. Energy use was low, and is the least of her worries at the moment.

Belle took a fair hit, and has passed the final midpoint as well, albeit sitting a bit higher than her foe. Energy use was okay, and she's not too worried about exhaustion at the moment.

Ethe.

Round The Fourteenth: Double Knockout

The round moves quickly as Susan begins glowing brightly. Realizing she's in danger, Belle chooses not to dodge, instead opting to put her foe down before she can get the full attack off. The Gothitelle looses another Psychic wave, smacking the Camerupt and knocking away the remnants of her health, causing her Self Destruct to go off mid-charge, the explosion engulfing Belle. As the smoke clears both Pokemon lay unconcious on the ground.

Susan and Belle are both unable to battle!

Dave, your next Pokemon please, followed by Ethe's final Pokemon and orders, and then orders from Dave.

Just like to point out that this is a 5v5 (LOL I KNOW RIGHT) so Ethe will still have another Pokémon to choose after this.

"Return Susan, great work. Have a rest.

George, bring it."

Quote:
George: Male Pinsir
Pinsir: (Bug) - Pinsir's arms aren't very strong, and its short, stubby legs make it difficult to run long distances. To compensate, its pincers are fairly powerful, and any attack requiring them is 1.25 times as powerful as normal.
Bugs can, in most cases, see in the dark. While most live in warm climates, they hate fire, and dislike cold.
Bio: Another of the ASBL's Fab Four, George plays Lead Guitar in the Beetles' lineup. Despite being given the form of a Pokémon from Gen I, and a Kick-arse on at that, he's often disappointed at his movepool, and wishes that he could get some assistance. Missing his bandmates in battle, he's managed to find a way to figuratively bring them along for a hand.

Special Attack - With a Little Help from My Friends (EL/FT/FL):
George uses a form of Beat Up, with a twist. He summons up forms similar to the standard Beat Up, though they are of John the Volbeat, Paul the Heracross and Ringo the Ledian. The three then rush at the opponent, just like the standard Beat Up, and each hit for moderate damage. Volbeat's tackle deals Electric-type damage, Heracross' Fighting, and Ledian's Flying. This attack takes twice the energy of Beat Up to perform, a third of the total from each of the three type pools. With a Little Help from My Friends is usable once per match. George cannot use Mimic, Double Team, Substitute, Bulk Up, Revenge, Faint Attack, Knock Off or Iron Defence.
I should really re-do that sig.

Well given that Klinklang doesn't have arms and you'd be a little mad to send a Zoroark out against a Pinsir...

"Hunch over and widen your horns, then grab him around the waist with a Seismic Toss to get rid of him. Assuming that worked, trip him further with Bulldoze. But if you're grappled, Protect against the Flamethrower.

Round The Fifteenth: Getting Physical

Following last round's big boom, both trainers recall their fallen combatants. Dave decides to replace Susan with his Pinsir, the masterful musician by the name of George, while Ethe decides his Machamp, hilariously named Gaston, will make an excellent choice for his foe.

Machamp (Fighting): One of the strongest Pokémon alive, it can restrain most opponents with two hands and use the other two for something else. Of the Machop line, it is the fastest and most agile. Machop, Machoke, and Machamp can lift twice as much for a particular attack than what is normally stated.
No one moves like Gaston, grabs his foe like Gaston. No one puts them in a Submission and holds them low like Gaston. And as the ref realizes he's being shot some menacing looks for singing out every action the mighty Machamp makes, he decides to kill the references for this exact moment as Gaston grabs George's gut with his lower arms, using his upper set to hold the Pinsir's head and force the gigantic pincirs away from the brute. George does the best he can attempting to force himself backwards and get his foe into proper grasping range, but there is just no way he is going to be overpowering that Machamp any time soon and promptly gives up on the effort in order to conserve energy. Gaston responds to his opponent's lack of struggling by belching up flames as if he was auditioning to perform as a circus act, a mighty Flamethrower erupting from the hulk's mouth. As the flames was down over his foe, and with him, Gaston, the brute lets go, the heat being too much for him as it would appear he has given himself some nice burns on his lower hands. Ouch. The stream of flames stops, but it would appear that George is quite unscathed, having set up the translucent green dome that we all know too well to be a Protect shield in order to save himself from the supereffective blow. The Pinsir turns to face his newly hindered opponent and both combatants stand in melee distance as the round comes to a close.

George took a small bit of damage from being held, but is still fine overall. Energy use was a bit below average and is raring for a fight.

Gaston took a bit of recoil from the flames, and is sitting just above his foe thanks to his level bonus. Energy use was a bit high but he's raring to go.

Dave.

Round The Sixteenth: Cut And Run

George starts the round off, slicing forward with his mighty appendages or whatever they are, the Slash ripping across Gaston's chest for some rather nice damage, and it would appear that it struck for a bit of extra damage as it rakes across the Machamp's torso. Not too happy about this, Gaston's hand begins to glow purple, and he swiftly stabs it into his Pinsir foe. The Poison Jab does a nice bit of damage, but it looks like George has managed to escape any status-y side effects. The blow does push the bug back a step, but this turns out to be to his advantage as he rushes forward into the Machamp, the force of the Double-Edge causes both parties a nice bit of pain, but thanks to attempting to grab his foe while being charged, Gaston ended up taking yet further damage thanks to George's spikes poking his burnt hands. Regardless, he does get a grip of his foe, and soon George finds himself being flung clear over Gaston's head, the Seismic Toss sending him careening through the air and wishing he had working wings and a Flying type. Ha. Either way, after making a nasty crash landing, George brushes himself off and faces his foe, the two a nice way out of melee range as the round comes to a close.

George took a nice couple of blows, and has passed the first marker a way. Energy use was a bit high but it's not a major concern.

Gaston took a couple nasty hits, and his lead is now gone by a decent bit. Energy use was about average, and he's still good there.

Ethe.

Round The Seventeenth: Turning Things On Their Head

Gaston reels back one of his arms in preparation to attack, and a bright white glow surrounds his fist. A mighty swing brings the Mega Punch towards George, but the bug will have none of it. Swiftly stepping to the side the Pinsir avoids the blow in its entirety before wrapping his mighty horns around the Machamp. A quick twist turns his momentum on him and Gaston finds himself crashing head first to the floor courtesy of the Vital Throw. The Machamp doesn't even have time to prop himself back up before George comes in, the Pinsir wrapping his large appendages around the Machamp's neck and closing them in nice and tight as the Vice Grip prevents Gaston from moving too much, though a brief struggle at least allows him to get up on one knee.

No damage to George. Energy use was alright.

Gaston took some nice damage, heading for the midpoint. Energy was low enough and the break was appreciated.

Dave.
