Both lower energy and he's fresh, and Neonleo's was higher energy and he's tired, so it gave Maurice a bit of time to be idle.

Yeah, because light energy and damage per ring is retarded.

Round The Seventh - Need More Jokes...

Neonleo starts us off this time around by surrounding himself with electricity and beginning a Wild Charge at his foe. Maurice attempts to pick him up and toss him aside faster than a celebrity would a significant other, but the Telekinesis is meant for opponents of decently smaller size, so the best he can do is try to veer him off course. This doesn't work too wonderfully, as Neonleo is easily able to change his course after psychic control is released, the attack not exactly lasting long, and barrels into Maurice for some nice damage, as well as some recoil to himself, amplified slightly by the burn. Maurice takes a brief moment to stand back up before a rainbow Psybeam comes from between his hands and barrels into Neonleo at point blank range. None too happy about this, but most definitely not confused, Neonleo lunges at his foe, biting into him with a Thunder Fang, and causing a nice amount of pain. As electricity surges through the left arm Maurice was bitten in, it would seem said arm is paralyzed. The round comes to a close with the two in immediate melee distance.

Neonleo took a nice hit, and can't take much more punishment. Energy use was average, and he's getting to the low reaches.

Maurice took nice damage as well, and is already heading for the halfway marker. Energy use was fairly average, and he's still good for a while.

Ethe.

Round The Eighth: After Much Wait

Maurice starts off the round, using his good arm to smash Neonleo with the fierce Mega Punch, his other arm a bit too paralyzed to actually do any good. Neonleo stands, albeit just barely, and creates a blast of Bug energy. The Signal Beam strikes for quite a hefty bit of damage, and Maurice is none too happy, though it does knock the paralysis out of his other arm. Maurice's pain doesn't end there, however, as Neonleo jumps into the air, tail coated in Steel energy, which he smacks into the Mr. Mime for a nice hit. Alas, the movement from the Iron Tail has aggrivated Neonleo's burn, and as he was only hanging on by a thread, it is enough to push him over the edge, the Luxray collapsing to the ground.

Neonleo is unable to battle!

Maurice is not looking too good, dipping just barely past the final midpoint already. Energy use was a good bit below average, but that's the least of his worries.

Dave, your next 'mon please.

Blimey, cheers Sneezey. If we could avoid more five-month waits then that'd be grand.

"Return Neonleo, fantastic battling from you, have a rest.

Susan, let's have at it."

Quote:
Susan: Female Camerupt
Camerupt: (Fire/Ground) - Camerupt tend to be only slightly-less apathetic than their Numel bretheren, although their higher intelligence gives them a better ability to follow orders. However, they become extremely angry when struck in the face: a Camerupt struck in the face by an opponent will focus almost exclusively on that target to the exclusion of all other concerns unless something else starts to become a bigger problem or gets in the way of Camerupt's revenge. Until its target has fallen Camerupt will be extremely emotional and responsive but more vulnerable to confusion. Camerupt will also be winded for up to three rounds after its beserker rage has ended, with longer periods of rage meaning more downtime.
Fire-types love hot temperatures. Most can survive in hot liquids/molten lava for an extended period of time. If a Fire Pokémon has a flame somewhere on its body, it will take extra damage if a water attack hits the flame. Otherwise, Fire Pokémon are not adversely affected by taking dips in bodies of water, so long as the time is short. They are somewhat weak to Water, taking 150%, 210+% if hit on open flames.
Ground Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 75% the normal damage from electric attacks. If a Ground-type is wet, electric attacks affect it normally (unless the Pokémon is naturally wet/slimy, like Quagsire).

Round The Ninth: Simple

Wow has it been two weeks already? O_o

Anyway, Dave recalls Neonleo and replaces the cat with Susan, the Camerupt, who comes snorting onto the field in all her glory.

The Camerupt immediately rushes Maurice with incredible speed for a camel, the Take Down knocking the Mr. Mime to the ground as Susan tramples over top of her foe for a nice bit of extra pain. Maurice struggles his way to his feet after that savage attack and when he catches Susan's eye, lets loose a bright light meant to mess with her cognitive abilities. Unfortunately, as Camerupt are about as smart as the average toaster, there's not much there for the Confuse Ray to really work on, and, while slightly confused, Susan can still remember her orders well enough to let loose a mighty stream of molten hot liquid from her humps. The Lava Plume splatters all about the arena, including quite a bit of it splashing over Maurice for yet more pain. This is obviously some massive overkill, given that the Mr. Mime was hanging on by a thread. Maurice flops to the ground as the lava around the arena hardens, the poor creature knocked unconcious.

Maurice is unable to battle!

Susan took a small amount of damage in recoil, but is otherwise fine. Energy use was well above average, but there's still plenty there.

Ethe, your next Pokemon and orders please.

Round The Tenth: Over One Year Later

So Ethe continues the fight with his third Pokemon, Belle the lolitower Gothitelle.

So Belle starts off with the oddity of a move that is Psyshock, the burst of Psychic energy doing physical harm to where it strikes Susan, which, unfortunately would happen to be her face. Not the greatest of ideas considering Susan quickly becomes enraged, and the rampage starts as she coats her body in fire, the Flame Charge loosening her muscles and causing her to pick up speed as she rams into the Gothitelle at full force, knocking her to the ground as she tramples overhead. Belle replies by causing a real Uproar, the scream causing blue rings to fly through the air and strike Susan for a nice blow. Still quite enraged, Susan charges forward once more before launching herself into the air and coming down with a forceful Body Slam. The considerable weight difference causes Belle to face the problem of muscle paralysis, and the two lay there as the round ends.

Susan took a nice chunk of damage this round, sitting just below the first marker. Energy use was a bit above average but there's still plenty left in the tanks. She is all ends of enraged.

Belle took a nice chunk of damage aswell, and is sitting about even with her foe. Energy use was a bit above average, and she's raring for a fight. She's suffering from severe muscle paralysis.

Dave.

Round The Eleventh: Let's Finish This Up Quick, Yes?

Still angry, Susan rares onto her back legs before bringing her front ones down to Stomp rather painfully onto her pinned foe. The shock of the blow causes Belle's muscles to loosen back up, and with a wave of her hand the Gothitelle blasts out a wave of Psychic energy. But, seeing as the camel weighs nearly five times as much as her, she doesn't exactly go flying, instead simply backing up a bit. Roaring with Frustration, the Camerupt attempts to trample her foe once more, but Belle has other plans, turning on her hands to kick out her foe's legs after being stomped on a bit. The Low Sweep causes Susan to fall onto her side, freeing Belle to stand for now. The round ends as Susan climbs to her feet, obviously having freed herself of the majority of her rage.

Susan took a nice couple hits, and has gone over the hill healthwise at this point. Energy use was about average, and while she has plenty left she would appreciate a break.

Belle took a couple solid hits and remains about on par with her foe. Energy use wasn't too bad, but while she has plenty remaining she too would appreciate a break.

Ethe, orders if you'd be so kind.

I find it hard to beleive that a Gothitelle is capable of knocking a rampaging Camerupt over, but hey ho.
