Beginner Trainer Battle: darkrai vs BlazeVA

The Stardust Fields was popular today, there were two battles running and the same ref running them. She had changed between battled and sporting a light teal coat and a black skull scarf she was eagerly awaiting the two challengers. A sparkly Froslass floatd by her side staring at the grassy plain with interest, this would be the first time she witnessed a Trainer Battle up close. The large Blossom Tree splitting the arena in half had lost its leaves at the beginning of winter but it still looked impressive and beautiful.
Soon the two trainers began to approach from opposite ends of the arena, the referee recognised one of them as she had reffed his battles before, the other was looking a little green; he must be a beginner trainer. They both looked to be filled with nervous tension but ready for a battle

"Welcom, welcome. Hope you're both feeling ready for a good clean battle. Heres a tip, relax! It makes the battle so much more enjoyable. Lets go over the rules"

darkrai vs. BlazeVA
Beginner Trainer Battle (Pokemon from Lv’s 01-25 used only)
1 on 1
48 Hr DQ Period
Arena: Cloud Garden's Stardust Fields: Gently rolling fields spanning as far as the eye can see. This battlefield is a 50m x 50m section of the large grassy plain with one lone Cherry Blossom tree standing in the centre.

She allowed them time to prepare themselves whist retrieving a coin from her pocket. She assigned darkrai to Heads and BlazeVA to Tails and gave it a quick flip: "Heads".
Once she was sure they understood the rules she went through the order of play:

– I need PM’s from both of you including your Pokemon, their stats, any healing items being declared, and your attacks for the first round (I am happy with up to 3 being used per round)
- I will then ref the first round.
- darkrai will then order their attacks for the next round.
- BlazeVA then orders their attacks.
- I ref the round, and the next round attack orders switch and so on and so forth till we have a winner!

All right Marche, we need to keep ahead of our opponents! Start out strong! Tickle the Cleffa to start, then, go the a mentally robbing Psywave, then, hit him hard with a Hammer Arm.

Total troll.

Both trainers look eager and ready for this battle and for Blaze this was his first ever trainer battle but he didn't look nervous. This made the referee a little proud, it was great to see courage in trainers. John looked relaxed and ready for another battle and soon both trainers released their Pokemon. For John it was an adorable little Cleffa that smiled brightly. The smile dimmed a little however when Blaze's Geodude appeared on the field flexing its arms. This was not a good matchup for her! Both Pokemon took in their surroundings before readying themselves for the fight about to begin. Eve gave a tinkling cheer to both Pokemon and the referee dropped her flag.

Marche had the slight edge on speed and bounced forth quickly narrowing the gap and Princesa looks nervous. He reaches out and her eyes nearly bulge out of her head as he begins to Tickle her. She giggles loudly rolling on the floor as he hits all the right spots and the ref and her Pokemon look on their mouths wide open at how bizarre the scene looked. Princesa's defences were definately open and Marche capitalises by drawing on his small amount of Psychic energies and releasing 3 rings of Psywave right into her face. She shrieks in pain and her eyes glaze over slightly as her brain suffers the effects. Marche was having all the luck early off and decides now was the time to unleash his secret weapon. He raises his Arm above his head and in a Hammer like movement slams his arm down on Cleffa's head nearly crushing her skull but flattening her into the ground.

That was definately enough to clear the fog from her mind and her lips wobbles and tears form in her eyes. She bites back a sob of agony as a large lump forms on her head already bruising. She stares back at her trainer trying soo hard not to cry ... the same as the ref who was holding her hands over her mouth, that was so nasty to watch. She stiffles her sobs and slowly gets back to her feet. Marche's speed was reduced from using that attack so that would benefit her in the future. She bucks up and with tears in her eyes begins to Charm the rock. Being of opposite gender was certainly helping and as the Geodude stared at her he began to see her broken down beauty, how could he have struck such a cute little creature? He begins to feel real remorse for his actions and hangs his head in shame. He will be less likely to attack her so hard in the imminent future. Princesa begins to perk up at her small amount of success. With no interuptions she begins to Sing out a beautiful lullaby causing Marche to look up with awe in his eyes, she can sing too! Beautiful and talented! But wait, why was he feeling sleepy all of a sudden? She managed to finish her song and he lays on the soft cold grass fast asleep. A thud in the distance has both trainers looking over to see the referee trying to wake her now sleeping Froslass ... well that was certainly an effective attack!

Marche was complete unharmed after the first round but lay soundly asleep on the grass, an easy target for the little Cleffa that stood opposite him. She was looking rather battered already from a severe shot to the head but had stopped crying and was ready to unleash her revenge upon the rock that had hurt her.

She charges up a glowing green ball of energy in front of her little hands and with her opponent taking a nap she had an easy target. She lets loose the Energy Ball and in a few seconds it closes the gap and crashes into Marche waking him well and truly up and making him yelp in pain from the very effective attack. Princesa was already beginning to charge her next attack as he remembered where he was and he didn't have the time to close the gap as she fired her second Energy Ball towards him. He tries to bounce to the side but gets clipped by the attack and falls to the ground in agony.

He stares at Princesa in pain as she looks cutely at him. He picks himself up slowly and bounces towards her as she begins to work her Charms flattering him and trying to make him less likely to attack. Unfortunately after causing such pain to him he was having none of it! He approaches her and begins to Tickle her again leaving her laughing and wincing as he hits some sore spots. With her defenceless for the moment he whacks her hard with another Hammer Arm making her scream in pain and hold her head with a very large lump atop it.

Both Pokemon were already looking rough around the edges after only two rounds. Both were unleashing heavy shots and quickly brining this match to the halfway point. Princesa had closed the gap with her grass attacks but Marche had left her reeling again with his fighting techniques.

Marche receives his orders first but with Princesa's edge on speed they acted together. He began to dig at the groun bring up dirt and Mud and Sportingly throws it up the air and towards the Cleffa hoping to reduce her accuracy. She unleashes her Energy Ball just as a glob of mud hits her in the face making her squeal and rub her eyes. The Ball hits a bit of mud thrown in the air right before Marche and explodes sending grass energy around some hitting the Geodude making him wince. At least most of the attack missed. Marche now has opportunity to bounce over to Princesa and using his waning fighting energies slams her again with his Hammer Arm causing immense pain. Princesa manages to get most of the mud off her face and with a pained voice Sings another tune and Marche is forced to listen again and being so close to her falls asleep again.

Battle of the typespams begins again! Both Pokemon were playing on their advantages and it could prove to be a quick and bloody match. Geodude had taken some nasty shots from the Energy Balls and Cleffa had a huge lump on her head from the Hammer Arms drilled into her skull. The referee was already calling the nearest Pokemon Centre for aid should the Pokemon become too hurt.

Princesa draws on her dwindling Grass energies and launches an Energy Ball snapping Marche out of his sweet dreams as he cries out in agony. That was one painful attack. He has his orders and Princesa is allowed to use the last of her grass energies to fire another Energy Ball the attack knocking Marche for six. He looks to be really suffering from only two attacks but manages to get upright and slowly bounce over to Princesa who begins to Sing. She has the edge on speed and he begins to feel drowsy slowing him down further but he manages to reach her and sluggishly begin to Tickle her again stopping the singing as she squeals with laughter. He blinks a few times trying to clear the fog clouding his mind. He remembers his orders and lifting his arm up slowly rams it down on Princesa with a final Hammer Arm as his fighting energies are used up. She screams in pain as he does damage to her already sore head. The screaming is enough to wake him up and be bounces back before Tackling her to the ground.

Both Pokemon had lost their advantages as they use up all the energy required to use them. Now they were down to some of their more basic attacks. With Marche's lowered health his trainer calls him over to feed him a berry. He bounces over and happily takes the Sitrus Berry and munches on it feeling some of his injuries healing. He turns around to come face to face with Princesa who had closed the gap in the long time it took him to get to his trainer. She smiles cutely and begins to Charm the non-existant socks off him. He smiles back blushing at the compliments she paid him. Yes his arms are muscular and his Hammer Arm attack was very powerful and deadly. Princesa decides to show him her strength and Pounds him on the nose. He blinks in suprise, that hardly hurt but why would she attack him like that? She gives him one more Pound for good measure.

Marche looks hurt that the pretty little Cleffa would attack him, he receives orders to attack her and he bites his lip not really wanting to, but she did attack him! He uses the last of his Psychic energies and releases 3 Psywaves that hit Princesa in the face causing her some nasty pain and making her disorientated. She stumbles about not sure what she was doing and Marche looks unhappy at his attack. Especially now he had been ordered to attack again. He sighs and hits her with a Tackle for some light damage, added to the fact that he didn't really want to attack her. She gets back up her eyes still a little glazed over. His eyes widen and he begins to see her in a new light, she was gorgeous! How did he not spot it before. Hearts swim before his eyes as her Cute Charm take effect. That was lucky for her!

Let her hit you, it should bring things to light that she is a high-matiance woman.

Try and use Defense Curl to keep the pounds from doing much damage and wearing out her energy.

Marche was giving Princesa googly eyes as his head swam with thoughts of love and making out. The little Cleffa was trying to shake off her muddled mind and March just thought it was adorable. Princesa hears her trainers orders and remembers where she was, ooh thereis a berry around her neck! She munches on the Sitrus Berry instantly feeling that lump on her head throbbing less painfully. Marche smiles as he spots some juice run down Princesa's chin, that was cute!

Now she was ready to attack, for what damage it would do! She toddles over to Marche and Pounds him on the face. He blinks in surprise and looks hurt. As she comes in for a second Pound he Curls up Defensively lessening the damage even further whilst feeling hurt that his true love would attack him like that!

This battle looked like it was going to take a long time to reach its ends with the super effective moves all used up. Even the referee had pulled a chair from somewhere and had sat down watching the battle drag out.

Marche is ordered to Curl up Defensively and begins to do so but hears a sweet song being sung by Princesa that makes him feel really drowsey. He stays curled up in his ball however as it was a comfy position and Princesa pouts, that didn't work exactly as planned. She toddle up to him and unleashes a Pound to his body hardly damaging him and her pout intensifies. It hardly does anything to snap him out of his drowsy state and neither does the second Pound as it felt like a little swat. He uncurls and looks about dopily before gathering Mud Sport in his arms and wilding throwing it allowing Princesa to easily move out of the way.

Energy: 20%
Status: Def --- Atk --- Grass Energy Depleted

And so it begins again, Geodude is still a bit drowsey and Princesa's little hands were beginning to get sore from pounding on a rock. But the battle continued on. Who would pass out first, the ref thought it would be from energy loss rather than health loss right now but time would tell.

Princesa whacks Marche with a Pound as he blinks at her feeling a little of the drowziness leave him. He Curls up in Defence as the little Cleffa Pounds him again only wincing as her hand hurts. She uses her other hand to deliver the last Pound feeling her energy levels dipping from trying to break a rock.

He turns around to come face to face with Princesa who had closed the gap in the long time it took him to get to his trainer. She smiles cutely and begins to Charm the non-existant socks off him. He smiles back blushing at the compliments she paid him. Yes his arms are muscular and his Hammer Arm attack was very powerful and deadly. Princesa decides to show him her strength and Pounds him on the nose. He blinks in suprise, that hardly hurt but why would she attack him like that? She gives him one more Pound for good measure. Marche looks hurt that the pretty little Cleffa would attack him, he receives orders to attack her and he bites his lip not really wanting to, but she did attack him! He uses the last of his Psychic energies and releases 3 Psywaves that hit Princesa in the face causing her some nasty pain and making her disorientated. She stumbles about not sure what she was doing and Marche looks unhappy at his attack. Especially now he had been ordered to attack again. He sighs and hits her with a Tackle for some light damage, added to the fact that he didn't really want to attack her. She gets back up her eyes still a little glazed over. His eyes widen and he begins to see her in a new light, she was gorgeous! How did he not spot it before. Hearts swim before his eyes as her Cute Charm take effect. That was lucky for her! The little Cleffa was trying to shake off her muddled mind and March just thought it was adorable. Princesa hears her trainers orders and remembers where she was, ooh thereis a berry around her neck! She munches on the Sitrus Berry instantly feeling that lump on her head throbbing less painfully. Marche smiles as he spots some juice run down Princesa's chin, that was cute! Now she was ready to attack, for what damage it would do! She toddles over to Marche and Pounds him on the face. He blinks in surprise and looks hurt. As she comes in for a second Pound he Curls up Defensively lessening the damage even further whilst feeling hurt that his true love would attack him like that! Even the referee had pulled a chair from somewhere and had sat down watching the battle drag out. Marche is ordered to Curl up Defensively and begins to do so but hears a sweet song being sung by Princesa that makes him feel really drowsey. He stays curled up in his ball however as it was a comfy position and Princesa pouts, that didn't work exactly as planned. She toddle up to him and unleashes a Pound to his body hardly damaging him and her pout intensifies. It hardly does anything to snap him out of his drowsy state and neither does the second Pound as it felt like a little swat. He uncurls and looks about dopily before gathering Mud Sport in his arms and wilding throwing it allowing Princesa to easily move out of the way. Health: 45% Energy: 20% Status: Def --- Atk --- Grass Energy Depleted Health: 33% Energy: 20% Status: Spd ---- Atk --- Def ++ Psychic Energy Depleted. But the battle continued on. Who would pass out first, the ref thought it would be from energy loss rather than health loss right now but time would tell. Princesa whacks Marche with a Pound as he blinks at her feeling a little of the drowziness leave him. He Curls up in Defence as the little Cleffa Pounds him again only wincing as her hand hurts. She uses her other hand to deliver the last Pound feeling her energy levels dipping from trying to break a rock.
