...no, it isn't. It's still slow. Intelligent yes, but it's still slow as hell.

Both sides had fair points for/against, and Milo flipped a coin. Don't see the issue with that, personally.

Then the amount of energy used or the time taken for the BP to have been created is still wrong. Also, milo, you need msn for moments like this.

Somehow MSN won't work anymore, and Barry basically has no energy left, really a tackle would result in an overkill KO.

Also the time it took Slowking to race up, saved you last round. I've gotto keep consistent.

Still, you do need msn. As we have much other things to talk about. (or PMing if you really cant msn through the Windows Live hotmail.) Also, if you can, PM me for my msn account

Orders to come when TO resolves the issue

TO is fun. Block shouldn't have been RNGd. But i did manage to Revier to create a well-timed Whirlpool last round. Shame the energy use for the BP wasn't quite enough to KO the darn bug. It will die within a round of it being sent out though Dave, I promise you that!

Now for fun times. Revier, time to change things up. A Trick Room if you dont mine.

Round 7: tricky

Anyway short reffing because of B/W sorry chaps.

Revier burns a lot of energy to twist the dimensions in the arena making him seem to be as fast as Usain Bolt. Well not really but Bolt would be slowed down enough to let Slowking outrun him. Seaking has a trick for this and curses up, boosting his attack, defense and, as long trickroom is active, also his speed. Still Slowking's SC trumps a single curse boost from such a speedy pokemon as SEAKING, but he isn’t as screwed as I_D would have hoped. Anyway SEAKING’s horn starts to glow with bugg energy and charges at Revier, who isn’t stupid and tries to get out of the way with his newfound speed, but SEAKING’s curse and tremendous energy use means he still gets hit by most of the attack for very heavy SE damage.

Results:
Revier took very heavy damage, at the midpoint. Energy use was tremendous and is now a fairly heavy way above the midpoint.

SEAKING took no damage, but used very good energy, a very heavy way below perfect with bug slightly below half.

Hmm Dave reckons the old orders were a three-mover.... Then this will do nicely.

Revier, grab the fish with your Psychic and drag it with you while you march right out of the water and well onto the shore. Finish with a Zap Cannon.

Three

Round 8: I expect more complaints here, why do you have to give these kind of orders?

SEAKING dashes in for a poison jab but is stopped by Revier utilizing his psychic abilities to grab him and stop him mid attack. Revier then starts to walk towards the shore dragging his freshly caught fish along with him, but this food fights back and fires a hidden power beam at the Slowking’s back. Due not seeing it coming / being occupied with psychic he can’t dodge it. This deals some damage and it also makes Revier lose his concentration releasing his psychic just before he could arrive on dry land. Since he’s still in the water the genius decides to not use zap cannon, but the orders are vague enough for me to change that if I_D really insists.

Results:

Slowking took some damage, a way below the midpoint now. Energy use was rather large due to having to stop a charging fish and hold it up long enough to drag him along, a little bit above the midpoint now.

SEAKING took no damage but used up significant energy and poison half gone, he’s a good way above the midpoint.

Not complaining with the reffing as such, just wondering how Seaking used Poison energy if he didn't land an attack?

Which I thought he would seeing how they're close and all. Also I'm not sure if I'm alone here, but I don't ref boosts as upping the use of type energy, the boost just amplifies the damage done by the same amount of type energy.

I figured he charges his fins with the energy and rushes in, also despite curse in Trickroom Seaking is still kinda slow. I see your point about type energy and will change that part.

You know that Seaking has a massive horn on its face, right? >> Sorry, that just seems like the logical place to use a Poison Jab from.

Again, not complaining, was just confused. But thanks, sorry to be annoying.

Horn fins, it missed so it didn't matter... But yeah probably should have gone with the horn but for some reason I always imagined Seaking using his fins...

Alright, Revier. Use Psychic to pick up the fish and turn it to face away from you. Then slam it head-first into the soil to try and lodge it there. Then, if he uses Bide, do nothing. Otherwise, finish with Zap Cannon (make sure you aren't in the water when you use this).

If that requires a 3-mover, so be it.

Round 9:

Revier plan having failed last round he opts to try again and starts using his psychic powers to grab SEAKING once more. However SEAKING is up-to-date with his plans this time around and fires a few waves of supersonic sound, messing Revier’s Nobel prize winning brains up. For some reason Revier manages to get out of the water, but he’s too derpy to launch a zap-cannon. Seaking waits a while to make sure there won’t be any zap-cannons coming before he boosts his attack stat even higher with a swords dance.

Results:
Light energy use from Revier puts him at the midpoint now, also confused.

Somewhat more energy use from SEAKING, but still a tiny bit above the midpoint. Attack is over 9000 however.

Two Megahorns? If you have anything close to the energy required for that attack, I'll be amazed. And also, it has either got to be the worst luck ever that Slowking got confused due to statuses taking forever to be registered or even affect the Slowpoke line. So I'd say it was more likely that the Supersonic startled Revier.

That aside, Revier, if you can think straight, Disable his Megahorn bs, otherwise just dodge it coz ur totally faster. Then a Psychic wave to blow back the jab. Finish with Zao Cannon to totally incapacitate the darn thing.

Possibly three.

Gonna go ahead and throw it out there that I'm pretty sure it's just Slowpoke/bro that have the whole 'slow reactions' thing, since Slowking is a bright beast in a slow body. Which is why it's better at utilising Trick Room than the other two. So therefore it's just as susceptible to confusion as any other 'mon.

Hmmmm, hey yeah you could be right about that. In that case, the line is that it's a Psychic-type and shouldn't be totally confused, especially when Confusion is only only meant to be a slight disorientated frame of mind. At most perhaps mildly disgruntled it got startled out of the attacks it was planning.

True, that's why he managed to get out of the water. But zap-cannon is quite a heavy attack, especially for a water-type and he'll need his full concentration to pull that off.

Nah, Psychics are still vulnerable to confusion, just not quite as much as others. If Revier had a Calm Mind or something then it'd make him more resistant.

Round 10:

As Seaking slowly rises out of the water towards Revier for another Megahorn Revier ponders a bit before deciding that his mind isn’t all that clear just yet and proceeds to dodge Seaking. The time it took to decide that (you could have just stated “agility dodge” from the beginning because, as you said, trickroom would have made that possible) in combination with the lingering confusion is enough for Seaking to manage a partial hit again dealing solid damage. Also I ref megahorn as bug/xx so Seaking would get two off, although the second one normally is weaker, swords dance and curse compensate). Anyway the blow knocks any remaining confusion out of Revier and now he’s once again fast of mind and body so has no trouble using psychic wave to push Seaking out of poison jab back into the water, while dealing good damage. He finishes the round by finally charging and firing that zap cannon I_D has tried to get off in the last few rounds. Seaking sees the ball of electric doom heading towards him, but a single curse isn’t enough for such a speedy pokemon as Seaking. It merely counters his sig and therefore he can’t really get out of the way and takes about half the attack. He’s still swimming though, or make that floating as he’s paralyzed.

Results:

Slowking took very heavy damage again, the partial dodge managed to negate the boosts and Seaking’s bug energy was running low but it really hurt. He’s a good way above critical now. Energy use was extreme to boot and he’s out of electric, very tired and a good way above critical.

SEAKING too extreme damage and is at the midpoint. Energy use was very heavy due to boosts and he’s out of bug and poison. He’s about at the same energy level as Revier is, still a tiny bit above. Also paralyzed.

I_D used a three-mover and has to order.
