No one seems to believe you.

Pretty sure that I started reffing those attacks as MC on default because I saw it done before. I know Kush did it, but yeah.

I'm not going to trawl through matches from a over a year ago just because you people want a scapegoat for something that has zero relevance in the current ASB.

Question:
Quote:
Mirror Coat (PS) -- The user shimmers and glows with a red aura similar to Counter, and special attacks are bounced back toward their source.
(Emphasis on 'Towards their Source')

Multiple times in the Anime this is shown to not be the case, at least with Jessie's Wobbeffet. So, here are my mulitple questions: Is it just Wobbeffet that can re-direct the directions moves? Can his whole family? Can any pokemon? Will it cost more energy?
Or was this done to help make the move more fair to the game. I've been wondering this a while, finally got the courage to ask it.

Pretty sure that's how it's always been shown in the anime. Misty's Corsola used it a whole bunch of times to redirect attacks, as have Wobbuffet and Wynaut.

Not really sure what the problem is.

What he's saying is that the attack isn't always shown to be redirected at the person who used the attack- according to him, pokemon have been shown to, say, Mirror Coat Pikachu's Thunderbolt, but send the attack towards Piplup.

Ah.

So this is another reason why Bide > Mirror Coat

Each strike for Bonemerang is described as dealing "decent" damage, which means the attack deals more than Thunderbolt. Should probably be "moderate" for each strike, putting it at the notch below those moves.

Presumably because Mirror Coat is fairly pants with the failure percentage. Bide outclasses it entirely. And that people don't generally use MC in double battles anyway, so they wouldn't want to hit other opponents with it.

Well, what I'm talking about stems from my battle a while ago Here. (Will link when SPPF gets back up) My opponent used earth power and then ordered it to 'move, since it can only be redirected to where the move came from' which makes Mirror Coat useless in it's entirety. I use a Wynaut, and need to use Mirror Coat to my advantage. (And Wynaut does not have this bide you keep going on about.) That's why I'm looking into it. Because I'm in another battle with my Wynaut and don't want the same thing to happen.

This is why not many people use the Wobbuffet line.

Though I'd personally ref 'The Source' as the attacking Pokémon, since anything else would be pretty silly.

The site still says it does Ground.
Quote:
Dig (GD) -- The user digs underground and attacks the opponent from underneath shortly after. As the digger digs, the tunnel simply collapses, leaving nary a trace. If the user is not accustomed to being underground, then they must constantly move, as the ground will collapse on them if they stay still for too long, and certain Pokémon can't handle that.

The type in parentheses only denotes what type energy it uses.

Deebs is right. Otherwise all the non-damaging moves would have to miss out that part.

So what you're saying is that Weebos gets screwed for asking a question?

Namely I didn't ref dig as using ground energy either...

Could we edit that it does XX damage into the description on the site to avoid such grievous problems in the future?

Why the frell would Dig use Ground energy in the first place? Should be XX energy for XX damage imo.

Yeah, I agree that it should either be XX energy for XX damage, or make it have an energy glow and do Ground damage for Ground energy.

EDIT: Also, how exactly does Electro Ball work? The desc is a little confusing.
