Level 2:

Matriarch the Swablu (Female)
Swablu: (Normal/Flying) On cloudy days, Swablu can be difficult to see.

No sig.

Jasper the Psyduck (Male)
Psyduck: (Water) While Psyduck are perceived to be idiotic, it's a somewhat unwarranted perception. The Psyduck family is considered to be familiar with psychic abilities, and can use Psychic to lift Pokemon. While Psyduck isn't as fast or agile as Golduck is, its psychic abilities become more powerful as its pain increases.Jasper spent most of his young life alongside my uncle, a professional boxer who mainly trained fighting pokemon. Unfortunately, my uncle was recently killed in an incident involving an oyster and a handbag (let's not go there). Jasper needed a good home, and being the only person he knew well who was a Pokemon trainer, my uncle left the Poliwag in my hands.

Special Training: De Beste Eten is Kaas (Fighting)
Due to training with my uncle and his pokemon, Jasper is considered familiar with fighting moves from a supereffective standpoint and gains energy to bring his reserves to about the same level as his ice reserves.

Cordon the Skorupi (Male)
Skorupi: (Poison/Bug) Skorupi is adept at digging and can stay underground for longer than other non-Grounds.

No sig.

Ashe the Duskull (Female)
Duskull (Ghost) Though it can become solid, Duskull is nearly always ethereal. Though rather slow, it makes up for this with a fantastic ability to hide, able to reside in walls and other solid objects for a little longer than other ghosts and able to pass through thicker walls.

No sig.

Constantine the Grovyle (Male)
Grovyle: (Grass) Thanks to the small hooks on their feet, Grovyle are able to scale most vertical walls. Grovyle cannot be intimidated easily, and are therefore more resistant to Fear-inducing attacks. When low in health, Grovyle's grass type attacks get a small boost in power. Grass types enjoy both bright sun and rain. Rainstorms will heal them slightly every round the rain falls.

No sig.

Wolfgang the Growlithe (Male)
Growlithe: (Fire) Arcanines and Growlithes are extremely loyal and brave. They are more likely to follow orders of their trainers, even if they consider such orders questionable. They are also more resistant to fear-inducing effects. Finally, their hearing is more sensitive than normal, at the expense of being more vulnerable to sound attacks.

No sig.

Round 1: Kick the dog

And so two of PASBL's finest step forth to do battle on this, the Lawn arena. Well, by 'finest' I mean Concept, Water-Gym hopeful, and Rangeet, one of the most-hated battlers ever. EVER. But he's not that bad. With this being a fast-paced levelling match, the momentum has already been upset by the ref buggering off to work for [time]. Good start, Dave.

Flashes of light, and a serpentine dragon appears on the grass, Kofi Kingston the Dratini, named for a wrestler I am unfamiliar with. Damn kids. 2001-4 blatantly had the best storylines for WWE. Opposing the mythical beast is Wolfgang, a Growlithe that I had the honour of naming, but hopefully he's more mentally sound than his Discworld counterpart. The two ready for battle, squaring off against each other in true Pokémon style.

Despite it not being a fully moon, Wolfgang throws back his head, Howling to boost his confidence in his battling ability, giving himself a slight boost to his attacking stats. Kofi makes to boost himself, slightly put off by the proud-looking canine, but manages to get into a Dragon Dance spin, boosting his speed in that mystical way. Just in time too, as the Fire-type charges on in, head lowered and covered with a white glow, Bashing the serpent with his Skull, dealing a fair blow and knocking Kofi back. The Dragon channels the power of events, and a huge Hydro Pump pours forth, smashing Wolfgang for heavy damage right back, but his lack of open flames prevents it from doing too much harm.

That done, and Kofi's a bit lower on energy, but both are fine at this stage. The Dratini took a good blow, but health is still fine, while Wolfgang's just into the second quarter. He's also Howl-boosted, while Kofi's got a speed boost.

Rangeet.

Wtf is Discworld? Or Amadeus Mozart?

Supersonic. Dragon Pulse to counter any attacks.

Also, I agree with you, but WWE IS getting quite better now.

Round 2: Dog = Dragon, apparantly

Kofi opens his mouth, releasing a slew of Supersonic soundwaves, trying to scramble his opponent's head. Wolfgang responds with a Roar, which prevents him from hearing the attack, and the sudden disruption throws the serpent off his groove, stopping his racket. Kofi then watches for any attacks to counter, which presents itself in the form of a Dragonbreath, green flames launching from Wolfgang's mouth. Despite all sense to the contrary, the Dratini decides a Dragon Pulse is the best course of action, which causes a large explosion between the two, dealing significantly more damage to Kofi thanks to his weakness to both attacks. As the dust settles, both Pokémon look battered, but ready to continue.

Both Pokémon took hefty damage, Kofi taking more, leaving him with a slim lead as both plunge into the second quarter. Kofi's just into the second quarter of energy, Wolfgang a small ways above. Howl and Dragon Dance in effect.

Round 3: Out of the frying pan

Coating his Skull in a white glow, Wolfgang charges toward his opponent, who fires a Bubblebeam in reply. A lot of the bubbles are deflected by the protective dome, but the majority make it through to strike the puppy for a good hit, before he Bashes into the Dratini for a hefty hit. With his opponent knocked back, Wolfgang exhales a Fire Spin, a vortex whipping up around Kofi. But the serpent uses a Skull Bash of his own, charging through the tornado and into Wolfgang for a good hit right back.

Both are under half health now, Wolfgang slightly moreso. Energy use was good, Kofi lower there as both slip toward the midpoint, with enough Water energy for a not-quite-full-Hydro Pump. Boosts for both, up close.

Rangeet.

Hmm, did you factor in the hazardous-to-move-through-it-at-high-speeds thing?
Supersonic right up that close. Then try to move away a little bit.

Round 4: Soundwars

Yep, but it's Skull Bash, which provides protection from such things.

Kofi emits more Supersonic sound, but a Howl from Wolfgang drowns it out, though the Growlithe gains no further boost from it, focusing more on negating his foe's move. Despite the outcome, the Dratini tries to slink away, but a Dragonbreath helps him on his way, knocking him back a bit while hitting for good damage. No status though.

Wolfgang took no damage and now has the lead, Kofi just into the final quarter. Energy use leaves them about even, hanging just over the midpoint. Wolfgang's Dragon energy fuels another Dragonbreath. moderate distance apart. Boosts.

Concept.

Round 5: Bamph

Sprinting forward, Wolfgang uses a burst of Agility to close the gap, putting the momentum into a Double-Edged attack. Just as he nears his foe, he smashes straight into a screen, Kofi having put up a wall to Reflect an attack, causing the Growlithe to reel backward. Slightly stunned, Wolfgang is in no position to evade the Thunder Wave that follows, the tendrils binding his muscles and locking them up, leaving him badly paralysed.

Wolfgang took a fair shot of damage, just under his opponent in the final quarter. Energy use was good, Kofi with a slight edge under the midpoint, most Psychic gone. Boosts will fade soon.

Rangeet.

Round 6: Breath mints all round

Chanelling what remains of his Water energy, Kofi blasts forth a Hydro Pump toward Wolfgang, but the Growlithe is able to erect a golden screen before his body, Reflecting the torrent away to splash harmlessly on the ground. Seeing his foe still standing, the Dratini exhales some Dragonbreath, green flames licking at the Fire-type, relieving his paralysis enough for him to move. A bit unsteady on his feet, he lurches in for a Facade, dealing a boosted blow, but his paralysis reduces the damage a bit thanks to limiting his movement. This leaves Kofi beaten and bruised, but still up... until some more Dragonbreath sizzles across him, causing him to flop to the ground from too much damage.

Kofi Kingston is unable to battle!

Wolfgang took good damage, pushing him well into the final quarter and scraping critical. Energy use was huge, also well into the final quarter, just over half a Hyper Beam left in the tanks. No Dragon, Psychic mostly gone, slightly paralysed, tired as hell. Concept's used his three-mover

Final Pokémon from Rangeet.
