Concrete (Standard Arena for Indoor Battles): A basic, standard terrain. Nothing special. The arena used in Lt. Surges Gym in the Anime is a prime example of a Concrete Arena.
Welcome all ladies and gentlemen to what promises to be a rather exciting and explosive match between two trainers I've had the pleasure of fighting with in the past.

This being Hidden Squad and all guys, I'll be awaiting your PMs with your squads and first set of orders. After said orders are reffed, Kush will go first followed by Concept; order then inverses and so forth... so yeah, guys, let's do this!

Sig Ability: "Fists of answers"; Functioning somewhat like a deus ex machina of pokemon, Greggorio is proficient in attacks considered unusual for an electric type. His Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch and Mega Punch attacks are 1.2x more powerful at no additional energy cost. However, Greg is like Ruby in that this power comes with a cost on the old thinking... thing, and if Greggorio uses one of the above attacks (except for Thunder Punch) it is the only damaging attack he may use during that round.

Ta for taking this Balmund and good luck to you Concept. I dislike your squad summary page immensely.

Orders: Ok then, Greggorio (Level 2 male Elekid), boom shake shakeshake the room. Swagger. Proceed to dodge anything SE or of Blizzard and up power. If no dodging occurs, Meditate at the very end of the round.
DING DING DING Goes the bell signaling the start of this match as both trainers release their pokémon from their respective pokéballs. From our challenger's side we get a peppy male Elekid who goes by the name of Greggorio; electricity visibly running through his body as he readies for battle. From Concept's side, a female Absol named Lyra; her mere presence spelling incoming disaster for us all... RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! (say what you will, but I'm the superstitious type)

Ahem...

Greggorio quickly starts off the match Swaggering around, trying to irritate his foe with his cocky and arrogant persona; and annoy Lyra he does as she quickly overloads herself with electric energy before firing a Charge Beam! The thin beam lands clean on the electric type, who seems to resist it quite well, taking only mild damage from the assault, though the excess electricity seems to have boosted Lyra's power somewhat. Grinning, he just taunts the Absol further saying stuff on the line of "That all you got, ****?". She isn't having any of that however and promptly fires off a fierce Dark Puse! As the waves of dark energy rush towards Greggorio, the electric type doesn't really wonder if the attack is super effective or "more powerful than a Blizzard", but he does get the feeling that that attack is gonna hurt some and thus he decides to do a barrel roll in an attempt to dodge the thing altogether. While he managed to avoid the worst, he does get a partial hit form the attack however, taking some moderate damage in the process.

As the round ends,

Lyra looks a bit irritated but is fine otherwise. Health is untouched and energy usage was very good if not large, still above the 3/4 mark.

Greggorio is not amused. He took good damage overall, a ways yet before the 3/4 mark and energy use was insignificant.

Hmm, never fought an Absol. *looks at Veekun*

I on the other hand have fought this exact match-up before against Bird111. Went pretty well last time.

Quick attack around thunderbolt and into him, then sucker punch to evade brick break.

EDIT the first: Also, what's wrong with my SS page? :p If it helps I spent a fair amount of time looking at yours to choose a squad.

Round 2

Tapping into his electrical powers, Greggorio now sparks with electricity before unleashing a powerful Thunderbolt. Lyra reacts in time however, managing to avoid the fierce burst of electricity while simultaneously closing the gap at breakneck speed! Greggorio is caught off guard by Lyra's Quick Attack, but still does his best to brace himself against her assault. Seeing as she now is within his range, the Elekid opts for a close range attack, but as he closes in, it seems he is momentarily distracted by the Absol's left paw, which glows with a sinister dark aura. Lyra siezes the opportunity to sink her right claw deep into Greggorio's gut, who's left breathless and very, very aggravated at such a cheap shot. Why, it seems he's been Sucker Punched! He ain't going to let this end at that, however. As he gets up, he quickly rushes towards his opponent, swinging his Brick Break horizontally at Lyra's face, and while she managed to back away some to lessen the damage, the super effective hand chop dealt some very good damage and left her with a pretty swollen cheek.

As the round ends,

Lyra took a powerful hit this round, which shook her up a bit. She looks healthier than her opponent however, who's now well into his first half. Energy-wise, she did use up quite some energy, which is now well into her first half as well. Greggorio however, while using more energy than his opponent overall this round, looks a bit more peppy.

Spite to waste a bunch more of his fighting energy, then qc hyper beam to counter attacks.

Definitely non a three-mover.

Round 3

Feeling the pain from Greggorio's attack, Lyra attempts to fill herself with a malicious aura to Spite his opponent. The electric type was just a step ahead of her however, and quickly bellows out an ear-splitting Screech, which seems powerful enough to cause me some headaches in spite of my headphones. Lyra however, has more than a lil headache, she has a full blown migraine, causing her lots of discomfort, irritation, and most importantly, to lose her concentration, stopping her in her tracks as her ears ring in pain. Following up, Greggorio then proceeds to focus hard, Meditating so as to boost his attack power in the process. The annoyed Absol won't have any of that however, and instead decides to counter fire with a quick Hyper Beam of the not even remotely fully charged sort. The bright beam of normal energy strikes true at Greggorio's face as he was too busy trying to reach a state of Nirvana to attempt a dodge; the attack causing him to stagger back a bit in pain.

As the round ends,

Lyra took no damage this round and used only a decent amount of energy overall. she looks a tad unfocused and distracted though.

Greggorio on the other hand, took a solid blow from that Hyper Beam, and is now very close to the halfway mark I reckon. Energy use was light and nothing to write home about really. Overall, he looks more focused than Lyra, that's for sure.

Overpower his thunderbolt with a CB boosted dark pulse. Dark pulse again when you get a clear shot.

Round 4

Going into the offense, Greggorio rushes towards the Absol in a flash; his Quick Attack not only doing some good light damage, but closing the distance gap between 'em both. Immediately afterwards, Greggorio starts charging what seems to be yet another Thunderbolt, which Lyra attempts to overpower by charging an attack of her own. Much to her dismay however, the electric type discharges his own attack first, shutting her off as the powerful burst of electricity courses through her body. The attack doesn't seem to stun her for long however, as she soon recharges and blasts Greggorio with a Dark Pulse, this time taking the full brunt of the attack as he is sent flying back a bit.

As the round ends,

Lyra took some significant damage this round, which puts her deep into her first half, but still looks better off than her opponent who's already past the half way mark, if my Riolu's readings could be considered accurate at all.

Energy-wise, Greggorio still holds the lead. They both look pretty tired by now, hovering around the half-way mark.

(I took way too long for that. Sorry!)

Dark pulse to counter offensive or status-inducing stuff as needed.

Throw up a Light Screen. That'll mean that your sig and mediate boosts won't be wasted when the EPIC SMACKDOWN of FC Focus Punch comes forth.

If you saw it coming then some kind of "if he puts up a Light Screen run away" orders would have been an option

Round 5

Once again taking the initiative, Greggorio forms a rectangular Light Screen in from of him so as to block any incoming special attack. Lyra is a bit unsure about what to make of this, but her expression soon changes as the Elekid starts charging the remnants of his fighting energy into a Focus Punch of nuclear proportions. Sensing incoming disaster, Lyra glows with a dark aura as she prepares yet another Dark Pulse as a counter offensive measure, just as Greggorio rushes forward to attack. In a single motion, Gregg shifts his screen aside with his left arm as he jumps forward to smash his opponent, superman style. With her senses screaming 'GTFO you moron!', Lyra instinctively tries to move out of the way as she fires forth a pulse of dark energy. The attack hits nice and square on the Elekid as his fist slams awkwardly on the Absol's side. Sounds of thunder rip through the field of both combatants are sent flying backwards. As they slowly rise to their feet, they both glare at each other, ready to keep on rollin'!

As the round ends,

Lyra took some very heavy damage this round, who's now deep into her second half. Energy use was good, levels now sitting a decent amount past the second half.

Now, while it seems Gregg got the better part of the exchange, he still took some considerable damage. He looks just as beat up as his opponent, to the point were I can't really tell who holds the lead anymore. Energy-wise though, he used a ton and looks quite tired right now, which is reflected in his heavy panting. Fighting energy is gone. His Light Screen is still in place though, and practically intact.

Enough that I can shit your Elekid into the next millenium given how exhausted it is.

Thanks. Though I don't really get why I'm that low too. Ah well.

Quick Attack away and Screech to interupt him if he uses a strong move that can take down the screen.
