So we do Game Move errors because the games are our source for movesets, and we do Anime move errors, since the anime is the source of our ruleset (generally speaking). We have no reason to do Manga move errors.

Since we're giving Lanturn Earthquake due to a coding error, could we give Gardevoir Fairy Wind? Gardevoir doesn't get Fairy Wind ordinarily, but she was seen using it in the E3 Trailers and other X and Y trailers, a fact which is reported across multiple websites.

Wouldn't using the move in Official Trailers for the game count as an Error?

It probably already is.

Also this is just to make up for the fact they never made Jirachi Fairy.

I said 'better', not 'more expansive'. Mew is always going to have the largest movepool, but Jirachi's getting a lot of the better moves, while Mew's movepool is filled up with all sorts of shit.

http://veekun.com/dex/gadgets/compar...rsion_group=14

You're an idiot.

I was going to list all the moves Jirachi gets that Mew doesn't, which was easy because there was a handful. Doom Desire, Meteor Mash, some fairy moves, and some support moves.

Then I was going to list all the moves Mew got that Jirachi doesn't but then I realized I want to actually do something enjoyable for the three hours that would take. Because Mew learns every TM and tutor move in all six generations. Jirachi does not. Jirachi's extra moves only come from level up and events. Not a whole lot of those. But TMs and Tutor moves are a lot, and, like most pokemon, Jirachi doesn't get them all, or even most of them. Mew? Mew gets them all.

Once again, you're a fucking moron.

1) Definitely not the place to be having this conversation.

2) Making any sort of movepool comparison using Mew is idiotic.

Bulbapedia has updated Game Error Moves, the same source for Barrier Dragonite, Machamp Swords Dance, and Earthquake Lanturn. Under the new Game Errors, Metagross gets Ice Beam, Gardevoir gets Fairy Wind, Lapras gets Scald, and Blaziken gets Ice Punch.

I don't know if we're going to accept these, but imo, I find them in the same vein as Machamp with Swords Dance or Wormadam (Sand) with Leaf Storm: we can't legally obtain those combos, so these other game errors should be accepted too? Dunno

Actually Ice Beam on Metagross doesn't sound particularly weird. Ice Punch on Blaziken however is quite the contrary.

The overwhelming fact and difference is that the errors we accept have made it into the final games. The errors you're posting haven't. I don't think we should accept them.

The Metagross example was an official download which was available for the final games. It's a similar example to the Battle CDs/Machamp with Swords Dance example, and the Blaziken example was posted on the official website. But meh, I guess your mileage may vary. ^_^;

I can see why the others would not get their respective moves; I definitely agree with that. But I think Metagross should get Ice Beam if Lanturn gets Earthquake.
