Round 1

And on the field of grass like a Lawn, the battle starts between SP-Eevee and Concept.

And the Sableye and Slowking stare at each other before they start off. Sableye moves faster and launches a Confuse Ray as Slowking fires a Thunder Wave. Crazily enough, Slowking manages to hit and hold the Thunder Wave for a few seconds, at least until a random thought ruins his concentration. Unfortunately for Slowking his thoughts prevent him from firing his Flamethrower, but Sableye's paralysis doesn't stop him from Nasty Plotting to kill the opponet, gaining a sp.atk boost as the round ends.

Results:

Slowking took no damage, used little energy, is somewhat badly confused.

Sableye nook a tiny amount of damage from Thunder Wave, is slightly paralyzed, Special attack is boosted.

attacks from Concept please.

Calm mind if you can, buddy. Then signal beam, especially if he's charging shadow balls.

Best of luck Speevy, not that you'll need it.

EDIT the first: 15 minute DQ is I think what me and Zora had, if that sounds good. Should get us finished prompty.

You too, thought I think I need it more. When both STAB moves are SE, every one of my moves are going to be cheap.
Let Signal Beam ease your paralysis then go for a QC Shadow Ball since he shouldn't be confused anymore anyway and there's no point in burning too much energy so quickly. Straight into Dark Pulse for now.

Round 2

Slowking begins by slowly Calming his mind as Sableye waits patiently. With the help of the attacks, Slowking managed to recover quickly. but still feels a bit confused as he charges up a Signal Beam. Launching the attack, he deals a solid hit to Sableye, who grins as his paralysis fades away from the blow. He quickly charges a Shadow Ball, dealing a solid hit, and then he continues, launching a Dark Pulse for a huge strike as well. Slowking slowly gets up, in pain from the blows.

Results:

Sableye took a solid hit, but is still pretty good off. He used a good chunk of energy, but again he has plenty of it remaining. Paralysis is gone

Slowking took two very large hits and is at the 3/4ths mark in health, or is at the least getting close to it. Sp.Attack is boosted, Confusion is gone. Energy use was decent, but he's got plenty of it and Bug energy left, he's winning in the energy race.

Hold him in a Thunder Wave for now. If he tries anything else have Detect ready.

Question; due to the way it's been phrased, can I force the use of detect multiple times and therefore force the three-mover? Just wanted to know.

Just another quick clarification; Sableye, being a solid ghost, isn't immune to fighting attacks, correct?

Assuming that the above is correct (cba to wait for FW to respond);

Seeing as Sableye doesn't learn thunderwave; tackle to trigger the detect, then fc focus blast for lovely SE damage.

Round 3

Sableye prepares to move in, and tries to charge electricity, only to find that it cannot learn Thunder Wave. Slowking grins at the fail, and launches itself at Sableye in a Tackle. Sableye simply Detects the move, dodging it cleanly, but is unable to move as a Focus Blast comes barraling in a few seconds afterwards. The hit lands a powerful blow, and just like that, Sableye isn't looking too well...

Results:

Sableye took a heavy hit, and while he holds the health lead its greatly reduced. Energy use was decent

Slowking took no damage, used quite a bit of energy, but the point is that it has plenty of electric energy left at this point.

Secret power to counter should he try to do anything. Should he try to do something a second time, hidden power. Should he - heaven forbid - try to use a third move, respond with another secret power.

Potential three-mover confirmed.

Round 4

Sableye releases a Dark Pulse as Slowking releases a Secret Power blast. the two beams fight it out, but eventually Dark Pulse wins, slamming into Slowking for a powerful, yet weakened hit. The two try again, this time with Hidden Power and Dark Pulse again, but yet again the attacks cancel, with this time both forms slam into the other pokemon for reduced damage. Slowking and Sableye wince painfully as the round ends.

Results:

Slowking is rapidly reaching the midpoint after those blows, but he's got a ways to go. Energy use was decent, but he's got plenty left, if less than Sableye

Sableye took a decent hit, had a decent health lead, energy use was light.

Gonna regret this lame move but I haven't time to think of anything better. :x
Astonish to interupt any attacks. Another when the next move comes your way. If you're not able to disrupt the second due to time, something stops you from Astonishing and he uses a powerful attack, Spite it instead.

Grass knot, drain punch.

Also, how come his energy usage last round was light? Two dark pulses is quite a bit, isn't it?

Yeah, so in summary I'll be back on to lose continue this match tomorrow evening UK time. Sorry people, but considering this has taken six hours already and we've still got a long way to go if we continued it I might well have to leave for work before it finished anyways :p.

Round 5

Sneasel lightly darts in, far faster than expected, and Astonishes Slowking from using his Grass Knot attack. While the move deals a small amount of damage, it does enough in the idea that it stopped him from attacking. Sensing that Slowking was going to do something else, he tries again, but Slowking was having none of it, and while the Astonish does more light damage, it doesn't stop Slowking from using Drain Punch, regaining some energy and health from the blow. Both slide back painfully as the round ends.

Results:

Slowking took two very light hits, health is nearly unchanged. Energywise, he used a decent amount of fighting energy, but that still remains, energy/health regained was alright, but nothing overtaking the losses.

Sableye took a decent hit, is below 3/4th point in health. Energy use was very light.

Ice beam to counter anything he does. Just teleport out of the way of any SE attacks you're unable to counter for any reason.

Potential three-mover confirmed.
