UPN PASBL: Kuno vs. ALTO

Koi: What, again? Jeri: Oh, c'mon. I need the SP; I just spent a bunch on Rocky II. Koi: *sigh* Fine. At least its for his awesomeness.

Koi: And helscome to the Parking Lot, blah blah blah. ALTO vs. Kuno in another bloodbath, though much less literal this time around. Expect to see cars fly.

Special Training: 6th Sense (Psychic)
Ranma is both blind and deaf. However, due to special training, he still knows where everything is. Ranma will always know where everything is in an arena, and where the opponent is and what he/she is doing, in the same way a Zubat or Starmie does, but with psychic energy. This doesn't make him tired, because his loss of senses made that one powerful enough not to require any energy or focus to use. This new sense, also speeds up how long it takes to use psychic attacks, making them slightly faster then normal.

Go Ranma. Thunderwave and Light Screen.

Round One
Koi: Starting off this somewhat epic battle, both trainers send out their first Pokémon. From Kuno comes a blind and deaf, strangely gendered Alakazam, Ranma, named after Ranma ½, no doubt, and from ALTO is Ryuuken the Lucario. Surprise surprise. Orders are given and stuff happens!

Koi: Ryuuken is first to act, letting off a Metal Sound to throw off Ranma… that would be an effective means of interrupting the ‘Zam’s attacks if said ‘Zam wasn’t deaf. So, Ryuuken is awfully surprised when he’s immediately wrapped in a Thunder Wave, the sound having no effect on the Psychic-type. As one would expect, Ranma holds the bond until Ryuuken’s body is locked in firm paralysis, allowing the Psychic to back away a bit and erect a Light Screen as his foe struggles to move. The Lucario tries desperately to get off an Aura Sphere, but it just doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen in his state.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma’s used a good deal of energy and taken no damage.

Pupurin: Ryuuken used very little energy, took very little damage, but is quite paralyzed.

Pick up a car with Psychic, and drop it on him. Then Charge Beam the engine to make it explode.

Flash Cannon the car to try and stop the movement, then let's hope that the paralysis lessened enough for you to beat it down with a facade.

Round Two
Koi: With his foe now properly paralyzed, Ranma backs up a bit, "looking" around for a suitable car to pick up. He finds a sedan, and hoists it up with his Psychic abilities, half tossing it and half dropping it on Lucario. Ryuuken reacts as quickly as he can, trying his best to get off a Flash Cannon as the car drops on him, causing trunk to rupture and the vehicle to waver. It doesn't seem to be enough to completely deter its path, however, and Ryuuken is pinned under the hunk of metal. Good news is, his paralysis has been lightened by it, but now that he's stuck under a car, that might not matter.

Koi: Smirking, the Alakazam begins Charging electricity as Ryuuken tries to wiggle from under the automotive. As he pulls himself from under it, Ranma shoots a Beam of concentrated electrical energy towards the gas tank. Suddenly, a rumbling is heard as the gas tank begins to expand... oh boy.

BOOM!

Koi: The cap on the gas tank flies off from the pressure, and the car is soon enveloped in flames, causing Ryuuken to struggle desperately, just barely pulling himself away as his fur is charred, and while he seems to get out without a lasting burn, he was lucky to even be out from under the car, as he looks quite damaged already. With his paralysis now gone, he jumps over the flaming car and rushes in for a Facade, slamming in to Ranma for good boosted damage, but nothing like what he just took.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma used a good deal of energy; more than Ryuuken by a good deal. He also took a nice shot but is much better off than his foe.

Pupurin: Ryuuken sustained some nasty damage there. He's already not looking too hot, and while he's over half, it wouldn't be advisable to get trapped under burning cars again if he wants it to stay that way. Energy use was pretty good.

Round Three
Koi: Ryuuken starts off with a show of some Extremespeed, blitzing Ranma before he can even react. The 'Zam stumbles backwards a bit, looking unhappy about the hit, but Ryuuken soon follows up with a Shadow Claw, raking it across Ranma for a nice hit. Ranma, a bit angered, shoots a Psychic wave at Ryuuken. The fighting anubis flies backwards with the force of the wave straight into the blazing car. He hits the rented, melting metal, crying out in pain as the flames lick his hide. Struggling to get away, he collapses in front of the vehicle, his hide singed. He manages to get to his feet, looking terribly battered. Meanwhile, Ranma just smirks, using some Future Sight to predict an upcoming attack.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma took two more good hits and is ahead in health by a significant margin. Energy use was pretty good, but better than Ryuuken's.He may need a bit of a breather soon so he doesn't expend too much energy.

Pupurin: The force of the wave, impact with the car, and exposure to the flames did a number to Ryuuken, and while he's not under half, he's already close. Energy use was pretty high, and he's more in need of the breather than Ranma.

Quick Attack to get away from the psychic. let him disable you for the 15 seconds, it's gonna be pointless anyways. Then use Strength to pick up a car, a non flaming one please, and smash it down into Ranma's face.

Round Four
Koi: Trying to act quickly, Ranma sends a Psychic towards the anubis once again, trying to knock Ryuuken back into the car. The Lucario reacts quickly, however, zipping out of the way with a Quick Attack. The fighter waits for the next attack to occur, but seeing that his foe is not stuck in a flaming car, Ranma decides to forego the Disable, seeing it as a waste of energy anyways. Regardless, once he's sure that he won't be frozen, Ryuuken shifts over to a nearby car, hoisting it with great Strength, and while he can't exactly lift it over his head, he does manage to chuck it at Ranma, slamming it into the Psychic with great effort. Ranma, while not trapped, crumples under the weight, but manages to rise, not looking too good about that hit.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma's energy use was decent, but that's less of a worry now since he's had a bit of a rest. However, he had a big chunk taken out of his health, and though he's still in the lead, the gap was closed significantly.

Pupurin: Ryuuken's energy use was fairly significant, and he probably could do with a bit of a rest. No damage taken this round, though.

Take the first attack. With your sig you should know which image is real. This time use your Psychic powers to move it's body as opposed to a force attack, into the flames and aim for Disable to keep it in the flames. You'll have lots of R&R after the match so don't worry about burning the extra energy.

Round Five
Koi: Continuing his assault, Ryuuken summons up some malicious energy, sending a Dark Pulse at Ranma. Surprisingly, the 'Zam simply takes the attack, stumbling backwards as he grimaces in pain. Ryuuken looks satisfied with the results, as he grins as he forms a few Double Team clones to further throw of his foe. However, Ranma, being blind and deaf, is completely unaffected by those visual tricks, and plucks Ryuuken from the ground with his Psychic abilities as if he hadn't used the attack at all. He slowly drags him over to the flaming car as the anubis struggles, trying to free himself from his grip. Suddenly, the lock drops, plunging him into the middle of the flames. Horrified, Ryuuken flails about as his fur burns, and while he tries to get out, he's soon Disabled, frozen amongst the raging fire. If he could cry, he probably would, but for 15 agonizing seconds, every part of him is scorched with the flames. Once the hold is dropped, he struggles to get out of the flames, and manages to pull himself out, collapsing at the base of the car, KO'd.

Ryuuken is unable to battle! ALTO, please send out your next Pokemon!

Koi: If this were realistic, those burns would definitely merit a Center stay. Lucky for him, this is slapstick.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma is near half in health and over half in energy by a good bit. He's quite satisfied with his work.

Shadow, Male Scizor, Lvl 4

Wind Blade

For all of Shadow's life, he has wanted to be able to use attacks with an affinity for wind. The closest thing he had to that was wing attack, but he wanted more. Alto had helped him along the way, doing excessive training with the wind itself. they decided that scyther's scythes would prove effective in doing this. Shadow concentrates his flying energy into one of his scythes. He then swings it with tremendous force, causing a visible blade of wind to speed at the target. If in a realistic battle, the wind can cause cuts, severity depending on the strength. A quick charge version will take ~3 seconds to charge and will damage equal to 1/3 a sky attack, energy equal to 1/3 a sky attack and a wing attack. In a medium charge, charge time is about 6 seconds and deals damage equal to 2/3 a sky attack Energy useage is 2/3 a sky attack and a wing arrack. A fully charged version takes ~9 seconds and does damage equal to a sky attack. Energy is equal to a full powered Sky attack and a wing attack higher. This attack can be used twice per battle.

Aerial Ace to circle around it. Then strike with X-Scissor.

Take the first hit. Psychic to move it's body into the fire (not a force wave) like you did to Lucario and Disable to keep it there.

Round Six
Koi: With the charred Lucario returned to its Pokeball, another Pokemon weak to fire (this one even more weak) appears on the field, this the all-too-familiar Scizor, typically a Scyther, Zephyr. Ranma has a little trouble pinpointing the bug at first, but manages to detect him without too much effort with his steel casing. Orders are given and stuff happens!

Koi: I'm sure it's no surprise to anyone here, but Zephyr starts off by circling his foe in an Aerial Ace. After a few moments, the bug whips around behind Ranma, doing some light damage as he taps the Psychic in the back. As the Psychic whips around, Zephyr draws an X-Scissor across him before he can react, slicing off a few hairs of his mustache. Annoyed, Ranma immediately responds by picking the bug up with his Psychic abilities, guiding him swiftly into the still-raging fire. The Scizor struggles, but it seems that he won't be able to free himself from the telekinetic grip. He's dropped into the flames, and begins to writhe. Suddenly, he is frozen, Disabled just like Lucario before him, forced to spend an agonizing 10 to 15 seconds amidst the hellish flames. Once the hold breaks, the bug desperately pulls himself from the flames, falling to the ground, singed.

Koi: As the round ends, a violent wind rips through the lot, causing the flames to dance. Here it comes...!

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma sunk below half health and is still above half energy by a good bit.

Pupurin: Zephyr had a terrible first round, having been burnt by the raging fire, which he is doubly weak to. His health is already around half after those terrible moments IN FLAMES! *cough* His energy use was moderate, but he has a lot to burn, provided he can keep himself up for that long.

Round Seven
Koi: Still pretty energetic despite the damage he recently sustained, he erects a Light Screen to protect himself from special damage. Noticing the screen, Ranma tries a Flash, but it's easily reflected by the opaque pane. Seeing that Zephyr is unfazed, he seems a bit confused, but fires off a Psywave with similar results. Smirking, he bolts in, claws raised, and begins to vent his Frustration by pounding on Ranma. The 'Zam is knocked back, looking pretty beat up, but still in the game.

Koi: As the round ends, the Future Sight appears, ramming into Zephyr's screen and weakening it substantially.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma is further under half health, and used a good bit of energy.

Pupurin: Zephyr took no damage, but used a great deal of energy. He's still pretty energetic, though.

Round Eight
Koi: Enveloping himself in Dark energy, Zephyr rushes Ranma, keeping in hot Pursuit if the 'Zam decides to abscond. However, he does not, simply allowing for the bug to bash into him. He stumbles backwards a bit, but suddenly disappears, Teleporting far away off to another lettered row of the lot where he can't be found. A bit confused, Zephyr looks around for something to X-Scissor, but finds no target. Meanwhile, Ranma glows white, Recovering a significant chunk of health. He stops after a while, though, not wanting to exhaust himself too much, and quickly takes a Rest to get back some of that energy.

At the end of the round...


Pupurin: Ranma restored a lot of health and will restore a lot of what he used if he sleeps about 30 more seconds. Being hidden behind the cars, he's not going to be easy to find, so it will likely not be a problem for that to happen.

Pupurin: Zephyr used a bit of energy, but can't seem to find his foe.

When you wake up give it a Focus Blast, and a Psybeam, make sure if he erects a light screen to maneuver around.

Fly above the cars, and use Detect to locate Ranma. Then use a QC Hyper Beam at the engine on the nearest car to him.
