Well, I don't keep track of my Pokédex, so I'm out there. ^^;
Question: Does the "40-turn-battle" achievement apply to any vs. number? (Not even my battle with darkrai lasted as long as that, and we did 5 vs. 5...) If people really want prizes, maybe we can make little trophies/banners for people to display in their Profiles? P.S. My name wouldn't have anything to do with the Contest Achievements, would they? XP

How about we have some of those more beginner achievements?
Beginner Battler: Win your first battle. Intermediate Battler: Win your fifth battle. Advance Battler: Win your tenth battle. Total Devastation: Have five or more wins, and no losses. I can edit more in.

Well, right now, only one I qualify for is the Beginning Achiever. I do have a few ideas for achievements, however (the asterisks are obviously to be replaced by Starmie if/when you add them to the first post, I'm just incredibly lazy; also, feel free to alter the names and ratings as you see fit);
Poke Ball, go! * Catch a Pokemon in a zone Eggs-actly! * Hatch an Egg in the Egg House Don't press the B button! * Evolve a Pokemon Rookie trainer ** Win a Beginner Trainer battle Promising trainer *** Win an Intermediate Trainer battle Skillful trainer **** Win an Advanced Trainer battle Master trainer ***** Win an Expert Trainer battle Adopting avenger * Adopt a Pokemon from the Adoption Center Cable Club member * Make a trade Daycare regular ** Raise a Pokemon to level 100 Capture crazy ** Obtain enough Pokemon to have a full party of six. Everstone ahoy! *** Raise an NFE Pokemon (Not Fully Evolved) to level 100 without evolving it. Male Combee does not count. Repeat Ball, go! ** Obtain a Pokemon that you already own one of. From Shard to Stone *** Hand in a Pokemon for a Shard Quest and receive the corresponding evolution stone. Big trader *** Trade for a Pokemon that has already evolved. Trade-backs immediately following trade evolutions do not count. The Kecleon award ** Get a Pokemon recolored, either in the boutique, or involuntarily via the Haunted Mirror event. Qwilfish used Fire Punch! ***** Teach a Pokemon a move it wouldn't have access to in the games. FB custom moves count for this purpose, given that they're practically the only way to do this anymore. |

Already posted a list of suggestions here twelve minutes ago. I expect a lot of us will come up with the exact same ideas at first, but once you consolidate the most obvious ones, it should be a little less chaotic as people continue to suggest ideas.

I don't like the title "Daycare Regular" for the "Get a Pokémon to Level 100" achievement. I understand MM's intent behind the name choice, and I think it's cute, but like, I also believe that the achievement title should solidly fit the achievement and that that one does not perfectly fit. It only fits a subset of Pokémon who reach Level 100 in that manner. A whole lot of people level up via a combination of the daycare and candies. And we're not talking 94 Daycare levels and then 1 candy, no, we're talking like 50 Daycare levels and 45 candies. Not to mention a lot of people save the final level, Level 100, for a special place (like a zone or a birthday) and not for a regular daycare dropoff.
"Daycare Regular" to me sounds like a better name for an achievement which describes how often someone has used the daycare, like "Drop off a Pokémon in the Daycare Center 50 times." That stated, if you want to keep it as "Daycare Regular," I can see why you might want to and I agree it works. (I'll repeat that I think it's a cute name.) I just think there might be a better name for that particular achievement.

Healthy savings: At this point, I had 86,000 coins. A good deal more than the required 50,000, wouldn't you say? Candy Stash: This is the post where my then balance of 25 was confirmed to have increased to 28. Don't press the B button!: Hedwig, then a nameless Zubat, was the very first of my Pokemon to ever evolve. Here is where her evolution into Golbat went down. Poke Ball, go!: All right! Ekans was caught! Eggs-actly: This wasn't my first Egg hatch, but it was the one I could link to the quickest. I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind you all that the Egg House rules were decidedly more lax back then, and it was not required to post to pick up your hatched Pokemon yet. Adopting avenger: And this is where the legend was born, folks. Well, OK, not born, per se, but you get the general idea. Also, like the Egg House, the Adoption Center was much more lax at that time. No Rare Candy fees, no need to provide a Poke Ball... Good times. Daycare regular AND Halfway there: Gemini hit level 100 here. Gemini being my starter, this also qualifies me for Halfway there. In order for him to reach level 100, he'd have had to have been level 50 at some point, am I right? Capture crazy: Here. Links to where my original team of six came from. Well, OK, the five that weren't my starter. Repeat Ball, go!: Here's where I got Myrtle. Here's where I got Helena. Both are Shuppet, both still under my ownership. Inner Beauty: Hedwig, still a nameless Zubat, acquired her 10th BP here. Yeah, I thought that far ahead, even in my more noobish days in FB. Big Trader: This is where I got Aragog, my Ariados, in a trade. He came to me already in the Ariados stage. I never even owned a Spinarak. The Kecleon Award: Salazar, my Venipede, was involuntarily recolored here. Intended as a negative outcome, but the joke's on the spirits- who wouldn't love to have such a badass bug that's such a badass shade of Shiny Charizard grey, am I right?! Hebenon used Fire Punch!: As appropriate as it would be to link to the award's namesake, I can't seem to find the post in which I taught Hebenon Fire Punch. I posted in Serebii's Link Verification thread to get confirmation on that and several other moves, but haven't heard back yet. So here is where Hebenon, my Qwilfish, learned ThunderPunch. Starter's Pokedex: At the risk of seeming rather lazy, I'm just gonna link to my profile. It's got all the appropriate links to where I acquired most assuredly more than 10 Pokemon. Seeing more: I don't need a link for this one, right? I've seen 43, going by the tally I'm keeping in my profile (which only counts zones, trainer battles, and campaigns, not free RP areas like the Bar and the Park), but I'm assuming this also counts stuff under "Owned", which brings the total well above 50. Hmm, mind if I suggest as well? Some of the ones I thought of are quite easy while others are just insanely difficult. Note that I suck at titles so if any of you can think of a better title then go for it.
For the beginners (all 1 star): Get a free candy at the Pokemart. Bought something for the first time at the Pokemart. (and also the Coins for Prizes) First free berry at the Berry Shop. Used the Daycare Center once. (and consecutively all other shops where you need to drop off your Pokemon) Made your first Bank account/ Coin Exchange account. Casino-specific: Win something at the Lucky Draw at least once Win something at the Lucky Draw for twenty times in a row. (Definitely 5 stars) Win x15 of your initial bet at the Roulette Win a total of 75,000 coins at the Roulette (I'm pretty sure this would be 5 stars) (Maximum bet is 1,000 coins per spin. 1,000 x 15 x 5 = 75,000) Never tried the starter slots so not sure how I would make achievements for them. Arcade-specific: Get first/second/third place in a weekly/monthly game. Get first place in all twelve monthly games throughout the year. Zone-specific: Get a reply from your intro post. Level up a Pokemon in a zone. (The updater must level him/her up, not you) Create 5 posts in one adventure. (and 10, 15, 20, 25, etc... This includes your intro post.) Finish one adventure. (and 2, 3, 4, 5...) Pokemon specific: Have one Pokemon learn all the possible moves it can learn (BW2 moveset) Get one shiny Pokemon. Get one shadow Pokemon. Get a Legendary Pokemon. Get a mono-type team. (Fire, Grass, Water, etc...) Get a team of Lv. 100 Pokemon. Calendar specific: Get presents on your Birthday. Get presents for your Pokemon. Base specific (not really sure how these things work exactly and this is all I can think of right now): Own a secret base. Others: Purify a shadow Pokemon. I'll get to listing my own achievements when I have the time. |

"Lucky Little" should be 3 stars, not 5 stars. You get 15x your bet at the Casino at least twice a year.

I do also have to say this (sorry MM), but Expert and Advanced battles are just as easy to win as a Beginner battle. They should all be 1 star.
But just a personal qualm.

No, it's a good point. See, the way I was thinking was, the higher tier battles, the Pokemon are higher levels, which generally means more moves, which in turn makes them more unpredictable, gives them more diverse strategies, more options, more powerful moves, that sort of thing. But I do see where you're coming from with that, though, yeah.
