Yeah I agree. But just imagine - if we thought those quotes were lame anyway, how bad would they have sounded without space behind them?

I have loved Mega64 for over ten years. I'm glad to see that they're still relevant. Also, that video was great. I love how much Nintendo of America('s PR department) has a sense of humor.

I like how they've pulled in the suits, even in the JP office.

1990s NBA in a nutshell

It's funny because it's true. (Well, minus the arrogance. Jordan was a humble player.)

One of my sister's friends is dying of cancer. She'll probably die in the next couple of days. She's only 6 years older than I am.

I told my family to tell her "Dopple has you in his thoughts and prayers". My mother told her "Dopple wishes for you to have a safe journey".

GODDANG.

His contemporaries Charles Barkley, Dennis Rodman, and Patrick Ewing to name a few were less humble, and other contemporaries like John Starks were less humble still.

Kobe Bryant was off putting to many people because he came across as incredibly arrogant. He was self-styled (and was also styled by Lakers management) as "the next Michael Jordan," but people saw an arrogant prick with less talent the Air Jordan had had. It wouldn't be until the mid-2000s when people finally began to warm up to Kobe, though some never did; not coincidentally, he mellowed out a bit as time went on. After Jordan's retirement, the league was left with a void that for many fans ended up being filled by Shaquille O'Neal. While he had been a mediocre player during his rookie years with the Orlando Magic, Shaq quickly came into his own after his transfer to the L.A. Lakers. In Shaq fans were able to find that combination of talent and modesty that they craved. Again, you could argue that Shaquille O'Neal isn't humble either, but he's a far deal humbler than the likes of Kobe Bryant or LeBron James. [/talon the '90s basketball fan]

As I understand it, Jordan has sadly become less humble in recent years. His public image is not helped by his divorce and second marriage. And if you want to say that he was less humble than Larry Bird or Wilt Chamberlain, be my guest. But I'd stand by what I said that, in the '90s, Jordan was not the arrogant prick that the .gif makes him out to be.

The only other way to characterize Loki's taste would be "divine".

Tuned in for one minute. Stayed for thirteen before taking a break to share the link here. I enjoy Stewart's Daily Show and so Oliver's program looks like it will offer a nice supplement. Indians should especially enjoy this episode for its heavy focus on India's elections and the United States' embarrassing lack of news coverage about them.

Another YouTube video that I wouldn't be surprised to learn is blocked in the UK: a magician's dove act on Britain's Got Talent 2014. This one falls under the category of tricks where you know how he must be doing it but damn if you can physically spot him doing it because he's that fast.

Let's try the "before, after" thing again, this time with the same person, Peter Jackson:

Not blocked in the UK but my inability to watch TV talent shows without weeping in frustration prevents me from going further than three seconds.

More YouTube fun that's probably blocked in the UK: Mitchell asks Webb, "Are we the baddies? " in this WW2 sketch, courtesy of this gallery, courtesy of me going to upload something. *shakes fist at Imgur*

I see your card games on motorcycles and raise you falconry on motorcycles.

Girl Meets World trailer. Fans of Boy Meets World were surely hoping for the very opposite of this. I feel sorry for the fans who were excited about this one. ^^; If this makes it past one season I'll be surprised; two, I'll be astonished.
