With the first wave of shields gone, the trainers and their Pokemon wasted no time hindering the Inteleon’s abilities and utilizing the power of the bright sunlight. None too pleased, the giant lizard sneered down from its lofty perch and released a shockwave that reset all stat changes and abilities. It then summoned the power of the rain that quickly blotted out the sun and dampened the battlefield. With its final move, the lizard’s massive tail swiped at the water, creating a giant wave that crashed down on unprotected raiders.

With the fear of god put back into the trainers, they quickly scrambled to triage their Pokemon’s waning health while Chikorita flipped the rainy weather back into bright sunlight. They weren’t able to successfully remove all of the Inteleon’s protective barriers, but at least they were looking better than they were before… for now. None too pleased that its rainy perch was exposed to intense heat again, the Inteleon hurled another fiery ball down at Sceptile before carefully aiming a series of successive icicle bullets at Dreepy, knocking it out. It then aimed the barrel of its rifle at Shinx, unleashing a powerful G-Max Hydrosnipe, but the glare from the sun obstructed its aim from being a critical headshot, leaving the small electric lion cub hanging on for dear life. Electivire shrunk back down to normal size as the dynamax power wore off.

With shields finally out of the way, the raider let the sniper lizard have it with their electric attacks striking its tail like a lightning rod. Annoyed by Cradily’s provocation, Inteleon went into full attack mode, scorching Lapras with a Weather Ball and then trying to offset the heat with a spine chilling Blizzard that caused Shinx and Electivire to succumb to their injuries. Lastly, it lined up one carefully aimed Hydrosnipe that clocked Sceptile square in the noggin, rendering it unconscious. As the death toll began to rack up, the dark red clouds above began to swirl in the sky a little more intensely. Inteleon would need to be dealt with soon, lest too many more Pokemon fall victim to the lizard’s deadly shot.
