If you're going to release him otherwise, then my Cranberry Pokéblock should be okay, right? I mean, the latter you might theoretically get something for whereas the former no one has bitten whatsoever.

I'll be up front about it though: I don't plan to raise the little guy. I mean, plans change on occasion, and that could certainly happen with Houndour, but my intention behind trading for him is to be able to trade him in the future to someone else who wants the guy for keeps or for a shard quest. If you'd rather not trade it to me given this, I understand and that's fine. I just didn't want to see the guy wind up in the AC when I feel like Houndour is a pretty cool Pokémon and one that many people would love to have on their team even if they don't know it yet.

I know many would kill for a Houndour, but the fact that registration has been closed for so long means that most of the people who would want one already have one. The same goes for all the other Fires I've been regularly hatching that I've started to pile into the AC.

Started the trades. Thanks very much, guys. With this (and my much-delayed trade with Stark), I've pretty much gotten all of the Hoppip I could ever want: six, a full team. I've also obtained a personal favorite from the additions GSC brought; while I don't really see Houndour fitting in on Cyrus's team, hopefully Houndour will find a kickass home either with him or else with someone else in the not-too-distant future. That does seem to be the case. When I rejoined in Summer 2012, registration had only (relatively) recently opened back up, and it seemed back then like people were scrabbling all over one another to get their hands on the latest hatch. Even when they weren't, you could almost always count on at least one person wanting it. Fast forward to the eve of 2015 where it's a very different story. TBH, I do like that we don't have so much in-fighting over creatures nowadays, especially since FB was never meant to be Microeconomics: the Video Game ... but I'll agree at the same time that it would be nice for one man's trash to always be someone else's treasure. It is sad to see the Adoption Center being revved up again in usage, but it's an inevitable outcome of the reinstated limit on PC space and the -- imo surprising o.o -- number of members who have already reached that limit.
