Eh, Cheesecake and pudding cake are really more pies. I mean, think of how they're formed- neither have breading or icing like cake does, but they're very similar to pie filling. It's kinda like how Koala Bears aren't actually bears.

Ice Cream cake, though... That thing is tricky. Personally, I wouldn't call it either a cake nor a pie, but I suppose it's more up to personal opinion.


Anyway, Rubarb Pie is simply glorious, as is Lemon. Cake breading is typically too dry for my tastes, though I have to agree that it's icing is top notch, and my own specialty cakes have a more moist breading so as to deal with the problem of dryness. However, I actually like pie crust, so... my vote falls to 3.14.[/BadJoke]

Ah, Rhubarb cake is situational for me. I'll eat it and enjoy it, but I would never choose to order it. Generally requires something sweet as a side such as ice cream or custard.
