Suddenly we skip to Moral just strutting into the shop with Nice and revealing everything. I feel like I missed something. How did they even get together?

It does bring into question the case of the old, Master Asia guy and if he's actually being impersonated by Moral or his hot sister. It isn't clear anymore after it was super clear initially.

Is it wrong that I see Moral as the hero of this story? I mean he's gotten the most character D and he's a pretty thoughtful guy, helping out Takahiro retrieve that whistle he swallowed. Nice is kind of a punk kid by comparison.

I was pretty pleased Mom-bleach got what was coming to her. There isn't enough bleach in the world to clear out those shirt stains!

I'm pretty sure Doctor Who had this plot device where people would get cell phone calls that make them listen to the attack.

All the fools of the world use "retweet"! Good guys use text messages!

And here we thought Murasaki would be the one to die. Suddenly, he's piloting the ship! Why doesn't he just turn it around?

Episode 12

Zombies alive! Everyone is coming back from the dead now! I rather liked it when Art was dead though, so I wasn't too happy seeing him back. Nice dying would be pretty nice though.

Medicine man be grindin' though.

Ultimately I don't see the point of Hamatora. I mean, there was literally almost no point to this whole series at all. It's going to get a 4 from me. Maybe the next season will help a brother out?

Watched episode 12. The episode wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

For the series itself, it had a really strong start imo. Even if it wasn't to totally take seriously, it still made enough sense to not dismiss it, and it kept bitching about humanity, which is always a plus! After a while though, the show started to get sloppy. I'm not one to bitch about animation, but it was blatantly obvious that they were saving budget by skipping or reusing frames, and in some points, no-one even moved. The show almost became a slideshow with voices. While I can't say I get Moral's motives, I still liked him as a villain....for a while, then I just couldn't get him. This show had some of the best moments this season. I still think episode 3 was fantastic, and that moment in episode 2 can't be beat! Sadly the show just got too sloppy for me to really get into about halfway. Overall, I guess Hamatora will get a 6 from me.

So apparently Hamatora is confirmed to get a Second Season in Summer in a split cour in summer this year.

Well that was fast. I can't say I'm feeling extremly satisfied with the first season, but the cliffhanger will probably make me sit through they're first few episodes, and then I plan to see from there. I Just hope S2 will be a huge step up from the first :o

But if Theo/whatever his girlfriend's name is doesn't show up I'll be sad.

Tbh I'm starting to get a little tired of Hamatora rehashing the same storylines. Maybe it was intended to be a throwback to everything in the first season (since it kinda mixed a bunch of previous elements together). I hope they pull something fresh from now on though.

I feel like I probably would've enjoyed the episode more had I not been slightly spoiled by kaisa's gushing on Skype as well. ^^; Wait for me next time. ;-;

... I have to say I was quite disappointed. I really wish Nice stayed dead and it could've been far more interesting. I don't even get the point of them pretending Nice was dead. Are they doing a drama or something? What's the point of putting up an act? Hope this gets explained and not just for the sake of fun.

Also I spy with my little eye no Theo in the opening. All my sobs man.

Better, much better from the last episode. Still, it wasn't great or anything. One thing that got on my mind a lot was all those awkward cuts that zooms out. It's so forced and I ugh, it really gets on my nerves. Once or twice is alright, but if they're spamming it and screaming "SCENE CHANGE" with it really, really irritates me.

Also Art has the Minimum of Regeneration? Seems like the long awaited "ART'S SECRET MINIMUM" is revealed. Seems a little shady that Art hadn't been detected with such powers. I mean haven't Art got injured before and somehow his wounds magically disappear in the matter of seconds? Also the Art "being their savior" thing, sounds awfully like a rehash of the Moral plot. If this is Hamataro S2 with Art in Moral's place I'd be a little annoyed.

Still, it was alright. Art seems to be extracting people's Minimums from the Minimum Holders, which is just a lighter way of "saving people" from their discrimination based on Minimums? I predict that he's going to pump it into himself and wee superpower. Also Hajime unwilling to go back seems rather interesting, seems like there's some interesting backstory for Hajime with her powers and stuff.
