Fizzy Power Co. Raid Battle 4: VS Numel
Dynamax Boss Numel ★★★ Health Gauge: 100% Shields Up: 0 Status: N/A Raid Challengers:
Quite contrary to the slow speed of the boss, the response to its appearance was nothing shy of shockingly fast. Perhaps due to the recent surge in tourism in the nearby city. Regardless, the Leader was happy to see the trainers arrive with haste, and as the Numel began to lumber about the plan, a surge of Dynamax energy filled Kylie's band, signaling the start to the battle. Dynamax Initiative: Zelphon, Dreepy.

We'll start with Hydro Pump (110 BP). Aegis of Frost weakens the damage of physical attacks on Buizel by 25% (though it does not affect Buizel's damage output).

Dynamax Boss Numel ★★★ Health Gauge: 77% Shields Up: 0 Status: Def +2, Sp.Def +4, Stockpile, Infestation (3-4 Rounds) Raid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Quake (130 BP) Zorchi, Buizel: 105 HPAttack 2: Stockpile (0 BP) Numel stockpiled energy! Raid Challengers:
Dumping large amounts of damage into the boss right from the get-go, the raiders push the boss down a fair chunk by capitalizing on its natural double weakness. Not caring much about these attacks, the Numel unloads a heavy attack into the Buizel, bringing its health low, before shoring up its defenses and then some, ready for the battle to wage for a while. It then takes some damage from the ongoing Infestation. Dynamax Initiative: Zorchic, Buizel.

I feel that I'm the best person to Dynamax here because of Buizel's diverse moveset, but right now may not be the best time to leave myself unprotected. Thus, Buizel will be Dynamaxing, and using Max Guard (0 BP) for the first time in Fizzy Bubbles raid history. Growl (0 BP) is the base move just for the sake of having a base move. Aegis of Frost is still there, though it doesn't really matter this turn.

Dynamax Boss Numel ★★★ Health Gauge: 71% Shields Up: 1 Status: Atk +2, Def +2, Sp.Atk +4, Sp.Def +4, Stockpile, Infestation (2-3 Rounds) Weather: Sunny (4 Rounds) Raid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Flare (140 BP) Slash, Popplio: 90 HPAttack 2: Growth (0 BP) Numel's Atk and Sp.Atk rose! Raid Challengers:
Choosing to Dynamax in order to set up a Max Guard, Buizel settles itself in for the round, before a Breaking Swipe lowers the boss' Attack and forces shields up, two of which promptly falling to the raiders' following attacks. A Max Flare does hefty damage to the Popplio while setting up some sun for the boss, a bit of weather that is promptly abused as the boss' already massive body grows further, causing a huge surge to Numel's Attack and Special Attack. Dynamax Initiative: Zorchic, Buizel.

Let's hit it with Max Geyser (130 BP, weakened by harsh sunlight) based on Waterfall (80 BP)! I don't think I need to mention the Aegis of Frost again, but just in case?
Also, shouldn't my Dynamax HP be 210?

Dynamax Boss Numel ★★★ Health Gauge: 54% Shields Up: 0 Status: Atk +2, Def +1, Sp.Atk +4, Sp.Def +3, Stockpile, Infestation (1-2 Rounds) Weather: Sandstorm (4 Rounds) Raid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Rockfall (110 BP) Connor, Gligar: 146 HPAttack 2: Earthquake (100 BP) Connor, Gligar: 146 HP [Immune] Raid Challengers:
Smashing the boss' last shield for now, the raiders proceed to use a Max Geyser to change the weather to Rain, before laying into the boss with Water attacks. The Numel isn't happy about the damage, but it also isn't enough to force the second set of shields. Disliking the rain, the Numel smashes into the Gligar with a Max Rockfall, changing the weather to a buffeting Sandstorm before proceeding to unleash a massive Earthquake, knocking out two of the raiders while doing hefty damage to one other. Dreepy then takes damage from the sandstorm while Numel takes damage from Infestation. Dynamax Initiative: Expired.

Dynamax Boss Numel ★★★ Health Gauge: 46% Shields Up: 2 Status: Atk +2, Def +5, Sp.Atk +4, Sp.Def +5, Stockpile (2) Weather: Sandstorm (3 Rounds) Trainer Recovery Summary: Zorchic, Buizel: Cheer Connor, Gligar: 296 HPSlash, Popplio: Cheer Zelphon, Dreepy: 251 HPRaid Boss Attack Summary: Attack 1: Max Steelspike (130 BP) Zelphon, Dreepy: 95 HPAttack 2: Stockpile (0 BP) Numel stockpiled energy! Raid Challengers:
The two remaining raiders manage a couple decent strikes on the boss, with Gligar forcing up shields before Dreepy manages to break one. A Max Steelspike then comes out, heftily damaging the only recently healed Dreepy to send the dragon deep down into the danger zone. Finally, a Stockpile further shores up the boss' defenses, the Infestation fades before the Sandstorm damages Dreepy and our other raiders return as the latter half of the battle begins. Dynamax Initiative: Expired.
