Knock off is a heck of a lot more useful/viable this Gen though, especially in Little Cup.
Being able to knock off evio's and healing items without essentially wasting a turn due to a poor 20 BP really is huge there.

^This. Though my Aurorus handles them pretty well.
Not enough to switch in, but Freeze Dry does plenty.

It does have more power than LO, but only barely in most cases and the SS version is more likely to sweep than Sniper.

Sniper isn't terribly good kids.

I thought you were talking about Girantina-A.

Though G-O has lower defenses, so. And a SE 65pwr move does mean 130pwr, which is still pretty impressive.

Also, what? People are running Sniper? In comp?
...Someone explain this to me.

XY Crit Chance
Stage - Gen VI Percentage
1 - 6.25%
2 - 12.5%
3 - 50%
4 - 100%
5 - 100%

(Shamelessly CtrlC+Ved from Serebii)
This is why people use Sniper.
It's pointless. If you want all the crits run Super Luck Absol @ Scope Lens with all the high crit moves.

That's cool and all (actually, that's really cool), but since Sniper boosts the damage from crits, not the chance of critting... Doesn't that kinda require running high-crit moves and a Scope Lens?
...Does Kingdra even get any high-crit moves?

Protect makes it so Outrage won't continue.

And most do, to at least Toxic it. Physical based Kingdra are generally bad.

Well yeah they get shit for physical, but there are sets like DD, Waterfall, Outrage, Sub/Draco Meteor.

I know, I'm just saying the special ones are generally regarded as the best silly. :P

My set is Outrage / Hydro Pump / Draco Meteor / Ice Beam. It used to have Rain Dance but i dropped that.

Doesn't Vaporeon generally run a physically defensive build?

I don't care about the physically defensive builds.

0 SpA Rotom-W Discharge vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vaporeon: 188-224 (40.5 - 48.2%) -- 68% chance to 2HKO after burn damage

I beat them with Rotom. The Specially Defensive versions were the ones that were screwing me up so bad.

I see, it's just that your team had a weakness to specially defense builds. Cool!

I didn't know where was best to ask this. Smogon says that Transform copies the opponents stats (bar HP) but it says it doesn't copy their IVs.

Does this mean if my Ditto had 0 IVs in all stats that its stats would be weaker than the Transformed Pokémon? I have an Imposter Ditto with flawless HP and I was wondering if this was fine or if I needed to do more hunting for better Dittos. The same question goes for natures too... HALP

The only reasons IVs come in handy is in the Ditto match-up and Hidden Power. It doesn't affect Transformed stats.

Escavalier is awesome. It's a better Durant but no quite as good as Scizor due to a lack of priority and base attack.

Scizor isn't anywhere near similar to Excadrill. Excadrill smashes walls, Scizor keeps momentum and cleans. Durant is completely dissimilar to both as well.

I'm assuming that you meant Escavalier. And wallbreaker Durant is a thing.

Yes I did but the derp escaped me.

Durant uses its speed, Escavalier uses its bulk. Still pretty dissimilar.

Facing someone down decent (EGAD) and winning~

Roserade at the moment is one of my very few counters. I find it hard as fuck to take out.

Hurricane Volcarona works pretty well and also helps with other grass types. I don't know who else to suggest. Special Dragonite? Swanna, Pelipper (lol to both). Starmie.

Hurricane Volcarona is a cool idea, but I don't know who to replace on my team for him. Starmie is bad. I have already have a better Pokemon (Mega Blastoise).
