Not listened to much of it, but I heard Supremacy the other night and was reassured - it sounds more like 'proper' Muse than Madness or Survival. Not that I dislike either of those songs.
I'd like to think that this album will be better than The Resistance, at any rate. My god that album was a let-down. |

Thematically, I love Resistance. Also, it has one of the best album covers in my opinion. Unfortunately, only 2/5 of the album or so was actually good, in my opinion :/
I can appreciate the Exogenesis Symphony tracks, but they just aren't... my taste. |

Total necro bump, I know, but I bought this album on Tuesday (which is odd, as I have not truly bought a physical CD in a time), and I am just loving it. A lot of it feels very rock opera-y, and there are a couple that have a beautiful, round, orchestral feel to them. Panic Station feels a lot like 80s Punk, and has to be one of my favourites, if not my favourite on the album. I'm just listening to it all over and over.

You're not alone. After months of deliberating and listening, it's definitely safe to say it's a fucking fantastic album.
I can't wait to see them in concert next Wednesday. |
