Really, really, really good song. I have fallen in love with Imagine Dragons. This song is just so good - and as someone with depression and anxiety, I feel like the overall mood of the song just really is something I can relate to, from the lyrics to the instrumentals. It's super catchy on top of that, as I've had it stuck in my head for days. If you enjoy alternative, even if your knowledge of the band is only from Demons and Radioactive, give this a listen.

I don't think I've posted this before (somehow).
"All The Time" - Bahamas I love this song. So so much. The version on the album, "Bahamas is Afie" is a good song. However, these "live" versions (idk what to call them, they're not in front of a crowd, they're often recorded on radio stations or something) completely blow the album version out of the water in my opinion. Each "live" version is a little bit different, and this is my favorite version. Seeing them at the Firefly music festival this summer; I'm pumped!

Having just finished listening to it myself, not having quite the same reaction as Josh but it is a really good album. Third Eye is forgettable and a couple of the other tracks range from merely decent up to pretty good. On the other end of the scale though the likes of Ship To Wreck, Delilah and a few others are absolutely incredible.

Hmm, FloMo have a new album do they? Saw them at Reading a while back, meh, will give them another go though.
For some reason opera is making me a bit more focussed and driven when it comes to job apps. Which is super useful. Currently on a fairly minimalist interpretation of La Traviata. Comes with English and Russian subs if you want them. |

"Two Weeks" by Grizzly Bear
So as of last night I'm in a band and we had a jam session. This was one of the songs that we fooled around with. It's a real earworm, gets stuck in my head all the time.

Recently came across the tape Dimensions of Dilla, loads of untitled and unreleased beats from the one true god of Hip Hop instrumentals. If you need help sleeping, or just want some generally calm music to listen to, this is for you.

So recently I've listened to Breaking Benjamin's new album, Dark Before Dawn, and I have to say I'm sufficiently impressed. They managed to comeback without losing their touch and sound, which isn't something most can attest to.
Track #4, Breaking the Silence, is one of my favorites.

"Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)" by Father John Misty
I can't stop. It's probably the trumpet solo.

Have you seen ISS celebrity Chris Hadfield's cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" before? If not, you should check it out. (Original for comparison.)

Speaking of David Bowie, I really love this song by him. Been listening to it quite a lot recently.
