ROUND 13

The sun is shining bright on top of the ship’s deck. Chikorita is using the sun to the max! With the power of the sun, Chikorita unleashes a swift solarbeam against Oracle. Oracle attempts to retaliate with Psybeam, but Chikorita’s attack is overpowering, leaving Oracle’s attack swallowed, while receiving some extensive damage from the attack. A happy go lucky Chikorita unleashes a bomb of leech seeds against Oracle, but the floating psychic uses magic coat to deflect the seeds right back at Chikorita. The seeds however do not seem to stick to Chikorita, and fall off immediately. The round comes to an end as Oracle glows in a harsh puple color signifying once again toxic damage.

Summary
Chikorita received no damage this round. Energy usage was taxing.

Oracle took some damage this round, definitely way below the half way mark. Energy usage was okay. Calm mind boost faded away at this point.

ROUND 14

Oracle launches his assault against Chikorita by firing off a psychic blast against the leafy pokemon. Chikorita gets all cheeky and grins as she erects a Light Screen around herself. The screen proves to be effective by blocking the blast. Oracle is flustered and unleashes another blast of Psychic. This time it breaks through the screen causing some damage against its opponent. Chikorita retaliates with Magical Left against Oracle as a form of payback. Oracle is unable to dodge and feels the full damage of the attack. The round comes to an end as Oracle glows a harsher purple dealing more toxic damage, while Chikorita invigorates herself with the power of the sun.

Summary
Oracle isn’t looking too good on health. Energy usage was taxing, and break is required.

Chikorita is looking healthier overall. Energy usage was okay.

ROUND 15

Chikorita unleashes an energy ball in the intense sunlight. Oracle is not in the mood to take damage though, so he teleports out of the way… too slow! The energy ball connected right before the teleport was executed. Oracle is visibly bruised, and Chikorita hears this from behind her. Oracle attempts to use zen headbutt, but Chikorita simply fires off another energy ball. The grassy energy collides with a weakned Oracle, leaving him panting on the floor. Then the inevitable happens; toxic takes its final toll on Oracle, promptly making Oracle fall to the ground, unable to continue any further. Soon after, the sun fades away, leaving the ship with some regular temperature.

Oracle is unable to battle! Final pokemon & orders from StonE EdgE please!

Chikorita did not take any damage. Energy usage was taxing so a break is required. At this point energy levels are below health, so think twice before exerting yourself there!

Close your eyes to block the confuse ray, then try to flash to make his aim go off

This is the final call for StonE EdgE. He recalls his fallen comrade, and in its place, he sends out Ethereal the Duskull!

Their fear inducing attacks are more effective than those used by other pokémon. Ghost-types take neutral damage from Normal, Fighting and typeless attacks in the ASB, as opposed to in the games, but some may change their state in order to evade certain moves. See Ghost Pokémon Information for details on states.
ROUND 16

Ethereal has a lot of ground to cover, so he starts off the match with a confuse ray against his foe. Chikorita is not going to allow such tactic to work, so she closes her eyes, and avoids any confusion. Ethereal looks smad at the turn of events, but he cannot stop there, so he goes in for the will-o-wisp against the leafy creature. Meanwhile, Chikorita retaliates with a bright flash of light. The light is bright enough to momentarely make Ethereal lose focus, and not connect his attack at all.

Summary
Ethereal is already to a rough start. Health was untouched. Energy usage was okay. Fire has about two thirds left.

Chikorita enjoyed the low energy round.

Move under the deck while using Calm Mind. After Chikorita's attacks are finished, emerge with an Ice Beam.

ROUND 17

Chikorita goes in for the giga drain against his fellow opponent. Meanwhile, Ethereal is claiming his ghostly powers as he goes under the deck while he uses calm mind. Chikorita misses out on doing any damage by a small margin of time, oh well. Ethereal resurfaces as fires off a boosted ice beam against the Chikorita. The leafy creature is hit right in her side for some mean damage. Seems that a sheet of ice was created, and might hinder movevement somewhat. Chikorita has no time to worry about the ice, so she sends forth a barrage of magical leaf against Ethereal, striking him for some additional damage.

Summary

Chikorita took a chilling strike there, dropping below half at this point. Energy usage was okay, but a break is required. She also has some freezing on her left side. Overall energy levels are getting low.

Ethereal took a hit, but nothing too drastic. Energy usage was okay, but calm mind is going to make him burn through it quicker. Ice is over half gone.

Keep moving and focus on evading. Use Night Shade when you have an opening.

ROUND 18
Ethereal remains evasive as he launches a night shade against Chikorita. The leafy creature was unable to dodge the attack, but she is not too shaken by the attack. She retaliates with an energy ball, hitting Ethereal for some extra damage.

Summary

Ethereal took a mean hit there, but he still has an advantageous health lead. Energy usage was okay.

Chikorita took less damage than his opponent. Energy usage was okay.

ROUND 19

Chikorita attempts to toxic his foe, but Ethereal uses taunt to stop him all together. I guess neither pokemon realized that ghost pokemon cannot be poisoned. Anyway, Chikorita is enraged and unleashes a full powered leaf storm against Ethereal, causing some serious pain. The ghostly figure shakes off the damage and uses an icy wind, chilling the leafy creature, while causing some mean damage against her, while slowing her down.

Summary

Chikorita has almost no energy. Health dropped below final third.

Ethereal sits below his first third. Energy usage was okay. Ice has about two thirds left.

Fade underneath the deck to evade any attacks. If Chikorita attempts to heal or regain energy, interrupt with a Night Shade.
