Doubleslap the remaining two eggs. If they both faint and pass out, use Double Team for the next pokemon. If they don't, hit them again with some more Doubleslaps.

Round 14

Jack stares down the the three remaining eggs, sensing that he was on the verge of a victory. Hoping to conserve his energy he charges at the closest two, giving them a Doubleslap in rapid succession. The flurry was enough to down the two of them, leaving only one egg left to hold down the fort. Realizing his time is up, Benedict tries for a last ditch Rollout. He rolls end over and end at speed and slams straight into Jack, the electric rodent grunting and being pushed back by the blow. Benedict stops after that, wobbles a bit and finally slumps over, out of energy.

Benedict is unable to battle! Deh74, send out your next Pokemon!

---

Jack took a hit, but it wasn't much damage in the grand scheme of things. He still seems to be in good condition, closer to full than half health. His energy use this round was quite light.

Great job Benedict, all of you.

Come on Bulbasaur! Let's get you warmed up with a Round followed by a Razor Leaf, try and keep away though.

Use Flash after the Round, then get in close and use Iron Tail.

Hold on guys, sorry about this but it seems I was mistaken on something.

It turns out that rounds are meant to end instantly when a Pokemon is KO'd. That means that the Double Team didn't happen. I've edited the reffing to reflect this.

Deh, do you wish to reorder?

Ermm, I guess I'll change it to dibble Trevor leaf, unless he comes in closer then replace one with toxic.

In that case, use Agility to dodge the leaves and get in closer, then watch out for the toxic and avoid it too. Once you get within a few feet, and (final) Flash him.

Using the same one agility to dodge razor leaf AND move in close AND dodge toxic is too much of a stretch. That's a three-mover, in my opinion. Reorder, or confirm please, Alan.

Round 15

The round begins with Deh74 sending out his second Pokemon, a Bulbasaur. Although not really having an offensive advantage against this Pikachu, he will be able to take Jack's electric attacks like a champ.

Bulbasaur is the first one to start moving, planting his stumpy legs as best he can into the cold, metal floor and loosing a cloud of Razor sharp Leaves. They fly towards Jack, prompting him to rapidly prepare some Double Team clones. Although he does his best, on such short notice he can only manage four clones before one of them is wiped out by Bulbasaur's attack and he is forced to stop. Three Pikachu now stand spread apart, staring down their grassy opponent.

Bulbasaur wasn't about to let that deter him. He makes the decision to aim for the middle of the three and fires another volley of Razor Leaf. Lady luck is on his side this time, as Jack gasps when he sees his opponent chose right. The Pikachu curls up and turns to tank the hit as best he can, a small storm of leavy knives cutting and bouncing off of his body. It stung pretty bad, but Jack had been hit with much worse in his time. The other two clones rapidly fade, as the truth had been revealed. The round wasn't over just yet though, as Jack goes for a bit of revenge. Sprinting over, he jumps and flips, attempting to smash down hard on his opponent with an Iron Tail that would make any Pikachu proud. Bulbasaur attempts to move aside but can't quite coordinate it in time, taking the brunt of the hit to the back of his neck and head. It makes an audible smack, and the force causes Bulbasaur to collapse his front legs momentarily. He growls in effort, shouldering Jack away. The electric-type lands smoothly, just out of immediate melee range.

---

They both stand in the ring of electrodes just outside of melee range of each other, closer to Deh's home side.

Jack took slightly more damage and used slightly more energy than the opponent this round, but none of it was too bad. Jack is panting lightly, but not in desperate need of a rest. Steel energy is a little under half used up.

Bulbasaur took an Iron Tail almost to the face, but he still has plenty of vitality. Energy use this round was average.

Wait until he's done then use Toxic and Sweet Scent.

Round 16

In what will likely be quite a straight forward round, Jack is the one who takes initiative. With surprising acceleration he kicks up into an incredibly Quick Attack, closing the short distance almost instantly and slamming the Bulbasaur head on before he can even react. The grass-type stumbles back, but Jack keeps up the offensive pressure. The instant the Pikachu touches down, he charges in again for a slower but more powerful Tackle. This one hits as well, though Bulbasaur turns his shoulder to it to try to tank it as best he can. The plant lizard growls in pain, and is now more determined than ever to get revenge.

Drawing organic toxics into his mouth, he suddenly sprays a stream of Toxic sludge straight at the Pikachu. At this range it was an easy hit, striking much of his chest and even his face. Jack squeals, doing everything he can to shake off the disgusting ooze. He manages to do so - but not fast enough to prevent a good dose of it from absorbing into his body. No doubt it will cause him a lot of ire in rounds to come. To finish the round up, Bulbasaur decides to ease Jack's troubles by producing a wonderful Sweet Scent from his bulb. It wafts about the scent of the arena, tickling the Pikachu's nose. It was a superb scent, distracting Jack completely from his poisonous troubles... and from the battle.

---

Jack is badly poisoned, but took no damage from it this round (or anything else for that matter). His energy use was on the easier side, and he's feeling a little refreshed because of that. He's currently a bit distracted by that wonderful Sweet Scent.

Bulbasaur took some firm blows, greatly reducing the health gap. He's still ahead overall, however. He used more energy than his opponent this round, and is certainly looking not-as-fresh.

Use your Agility to get away and put distance between you. Then use Thunder Wave.

Round 17: Status Update

ROUND 17: Status Update
Pikachu vs Bulbasaur

As the aroma of fresh camellias wafts through the arena, Jack wears a distracted visage as though the expression was etched on his face. His demeanour was that of a complete stupor. Such a delicate scent... getting lost in the daze was as easy as falling asleep. This distraction was the precise opportunity that Bulbasaur required. With the efficiency of a firing piston, Bulbasaur belched a blister of Venom onto Pikachu, Shocking Jack's ailing immune system. Purple toxins fizzle and seep into yellow fur, eliciting a pained wail. As Pikachu's eyes widen in shock, the Referee nods to himself. The distraction of the Sweet Scent is now truly over. As quickly as it appears, the scent fades in the air like a mirage.

The foul poison serves its purpose, however. When Bulbasaur lowers its head and garners the effervescent energy required for a Skull Bash, Pikachu hastens like a whip crack. Jack, his legs thumping with Agility, bolts a good few feet away from Bulbasaur. The Grass Type harrumphs as its energy dissipates, wasted. Irritation emblazons on Bulbasaur. That irritation was evanescent, however, as Pikachu had plans.

Drawing energy into its cheeks, Jack surrounds Bulbasaur with the electric tendrils of a Thunderwave. Bulbasaur tries to move away, but Pikachu follows the Grass Type with a gimlet intent. Bulbasaur isn't going anywhere soon, not if Pikachu has anything to do with it. And thus synapses begin in misfire. Eventually, Bulbasaur feels a flash of fear, as though an anvil has dropped on its heart, when the Grass Type's limbs freeze. Paralysis has set in. Status for status, as Pikachu winces again to the worsening poison.

---

Jack is still badly poisoned and took a heavy hit. His energy was quite great, but I would be more worried about his health than energy. That poison will rack soon. He feels a bit triumphant, however, due to his successful use of Thunderwave.

Bulbasaur took less damage, quite minuscule, but his energy usage at least twice of Jack's usage, quite major. Deh might need to consider an easier round. Bulbasaur is paralysed and in a bit of an anxious mood because he feels rather immobile.

Both Pokémon are only a few feet from one another.

Massive energy? Okay then... You are reffing the normal Venoshock aren't you? Not the multiple use one?

Anyway, my orders'll stay the same, Light Screen for the Thunder.

ROUND 18: Screening
Pikachu vs Bulbasaur

Irritated, Pikachu relishes the opportunity to pump into offensive. Anger and frustration propagates like an echo within Jack. Summoning that hatred, Pikachu keens and blasts a surge of rippling electricity towards the Bulbasaur. The Thunder roars like a beast, truly ghastly, when Bulbasaur braces himself. Offensive is offensive, but sometimes defensive can the best offensive stratagem in one's toolbox. Bulbasaur epitomises this adage. Indeed, the bulbous Grass-Type manages to overcome his paralysis momentarily to erect an opaque wall of Light, shielding himself from the potential storm of voltage that hisses with ferocity. The Screen shatters under the pressure, sending diamond-dust and shards like shrapnel, but Bulbasaur has emerged unscathed.

Jack could almost slam his paw with fury. Nobody likes to be thwarted, especially by a creature as smug as a Bulbasaur. Although Pikachu would very much prefer to use an Agility to heighten his speed advantage, his master's odds specify only to tauten those muscles when Bulbasaur fires another attack. And Bulbasaur is smart enough to avoid that scenario.

Thus, the Round finishes with awkward non-action, bookended only with another surge of worsening poisons in Pkachu's bloodstream. The toxins will only surge farther.

---

Jack is still badly poisoned and is taking a successively greater hit from that poison. In contrast, Bulbasaur has taken no damage and is quite happy with that round,

Energy usage was also worse on Jack's end, although Bulbasaur has taken a large chunk of his Psychic reserves. Bulbasaur is still paralysed and rather immobile.

-deh74 to order
