Infestation (20 BP) coming right up! (Small reminder that Dreepy is holding Mummy Bandages.)

"Welcome to another addition of Fizzybubble Raids, I'm your host of the Raid Report, Peter Starly. Our first match sees a party of four raiders up against the powerhouse known as Bidoof. This Route 1, Normal type hailing from the Sinnoh region has been a bit of a cult hero since its debut. While it appears rather unassuming, don't be mistaken, this thing can pack a punch! Now, let's get into our analysis of today's match up, starting with our Raid Boss.
While Bidoof is only a 3 star Raid Boss, it is important that our raiders don't underestimate its strength. Starting with abilities, they all revolve around stat changes. Moody doubling stat changes could prove beneficial for the Raid Boss, but clever raiders could also abuse it. Unaware is probably the least helpful ability here. Raiders have worked out that boosting themselves rarely proves beneficial, with a Shockwave from the Raid Boss capable of wiping away their hard work. Most likely ability of choice here is Moody, randomly boosting a stat by 2 stages while dropping another by 1 stage. Our raiders will need to capitalize on any opportunities they are given. When it comes to movepool, Bidoof is surprisingly diverse. Blizzard gives it a powerful spread move and with one of the raiders being weak to Ice, that could prove troubling. Thunder, Iron Tail and Superpower round out its powerful offtype access. STAB concerns include Echoed Voice, however a miss roll onto Dreepy could end its streak, as well as Skull Bash, a move that's surprisingly powerful on a Raid Boss. Let's take a look at our raiders now. First up we have Dreepy, pitting a Ghost type up against a Normal type is a smart play. Focus Blast gives it a strong Super Effective move but the lack of STAB takes the sting out a bit. Some nice utility options there as well which may prove useful as the raid progresses. Meditite now is a really strong option, super effective STAB always is. Add in the fact that it can pop off STAB Focus Blasts and use Pure Power boosted Drain Punches and you'll see why Bidoof would be worried about this guy. Another Fighting type courtesy of Stufful makes things rough on Bidoof. Again, expect to see Focus Blast coming out of this crazy stuffed animal. It's Fluffy physique should help shield it from physical attacks, a smart play considering Bidoof lacks Fire moves. Another Pokemon happy to see no Fire moves is Durant. Resisting STAB is almost as important as having super effective STAB. While it won't be dealing the same amount of damage as the other raiders, expect this thing to be hard to take down. That's it for the pre-raid analysis, buckle up and I'll see you later for our post-raid breakdown." Focus Blast 120BP Fluffy and Leftovers Last edited by TheKnightsFury; 04-05-2021 at 06:06 PM. |

Dynamax Boss Bidoof ★★★ Health Gauge: 74% Shields Up: 3 Status: +2 Sp. Atk, -3 Sp. Def, Infested [3-4 Turns remaining] Attack 1: Max Darkness (130 BP) KG, Meditite: 170 HP Atttack 2: Blizzard (110 BP) Zorchic, Dreepy: 135 HP Raid Challengers:
The trainers go about their way to try and ruin Bidoof's day. Well, it doesn't take that too well and tries to ruin their day back. It is quite Moody you know, and starts to change its stats. Bidoof! Dynamax Initiative: Zorchic, Dreepy

Dynamax Boss Bidoof ★★★ Health Gauge: 61% Shields Up: 0 Status: Hail (4 Turns),-1 Atk, +2 Sp. Atk, -1 Def, -4 Sp. Def, + 2 Speed KOs: 2 Trainer Healing Summary: Drain Punch: Kg, Meditite: 50 HP Attack 1: Max Hailstorm (130 BP) Zorchic, Dreepy: KO'd Atttack 2: Thunder (110 BP) KG, Meditite: 0 HP [KO'd]Raid Challengers:
Trying to optimize their shiel breaks, the trainers have the Dreepy dynamax to take down shields and then have the durant help along with it. Well, unfortunately, due to Durant's hustling nature it misses shields entirely, causing the Meditite's drain punch to break the last shield instead. This just leaves it so the Stufful damages the boss. Yikes. Bidoof, not liking Stufful's leftovers, decides to unleash a Max Hailstorm for the healing gets neutralized out. Well, this also turns out to be bad news, as it nails the dynamaxed Dreepy and it falls after oen turn of Dynamax. It then scorches the air with Thundr, the bolt hitting the Meditite that so desperately wished to be healed and falls it too. Bidoof's Moodiness then kicks in, sharply raising its Speed but lowering its attack. Like it needs that at this rate. Dynamax Initiative: Expired

Dynamax Boss Bidoof ★★★ Health Gauge: 47% Shields Up: 3 Status: Hail (3 Turns), Electric Terrain (4 Turns remaining) -2 Atk, +1 Def, +2 Sp. Atk, -4 Sp. Def, + 2 Speed KOs: 3 Attack 1: Max Lightning (140 BP) TKF, Stufful: 118 HP Atttack 2: Thunderbolt (90 BP) TKF, Stufful: 0 HP [KO'd]Raid Challengers:
With half the raid down, the Meditite and Durant work together to bring the boss to shields. Stufful is easily able to do that with a singular Focus Blast, while the Durant tries to hit a shield but misses again due to hustle. Bidoof feels like things need to be more electrifying and uses a Max Lightning, zapping the Stufful and setting up an electric terrain. Well, this'll definitely be spicy. It then uses a Thunderbolt, which manages to hit the Stufful as well, knocking the stuffed toy Panda cleanout. Well, that was unfortunate. Anyways, Bidoof's Moodiness kicks in again, and this time its Defense is sharply raised while its attack is lowered again. Dynamax Initiative: Expired

Dynamax Boss Bidoof ★★★ Health Gauge: 22% Shields Up: 0 Status: Hail (2 Turns), Electric Terrain (4 Turns remaining) -2 Atk, +2 Def, +2 Sp. Atk, -5 Sp. Def, +1 Speed KOs: 3 Attack 1: Max Lightning (140 BP) KG, Meditite: 72 HP Atttack 2: Skull Bash (130 BP) Zorchic, Dreepy: Immune! [KO'd]Raid Challengers:
The Durant once again is faced with shields, with even a more inaccurate attack than her usual hustle flair. She goes in for the kill with Guillotine, and for some stroke of luck, it connects. Beautiful. The rest of the round goes smoothly for the raiders. Large amounts of damage done to Bidoof, and no casualties, even if the Max Lightning basically melts the Meditite. Finish this Moody Bidoof off. Dynamax Initiative: Expired
