I've found myself going from completely despising Rarity to really liking her, actually. I think I've finally reached the singularity in which I like Twilight, Rarity, and Applejack equally. I like Rainbow just a tad more, and Pinkie and Fluttershy are once again tied for first.

Also, no one pointed it out, but remember in season 1 the "E/I" watermark in the top left hand corner or the screen? That meant "Educational and Informative" and meant it abided to certain FCC restrictions as to what did and did not constitute as educational. Lauren said it could become a creative issue down the road as it would restrict writing and such. Even having elements of cheating and calling Twilight an 'egghead' in "Fall Weather Friends" is treading a fine line and almost unacceptable.

Well... it's gone now. I heard they used bronies as a means of influencing Hasbro to get rid of it. Which means now they are creatively free to write whatever they want (as long as kids can handle it).

Also, I just saw this, and I can admit that I may have been affected ;_; (When Spike Grows Up)

Spoiler: show I was really worried that it would be a lot like the series Premiere, which I always saw as okay and really not a great intro to the series as a whole (I feel like this is the general consensus, is that true?). But I was pleasantly surprised! I really like the idea of PONY ADVENTURES but shied away from it a bit once I actually saw the more slice-of-life-y stuff. It was super awesome to see that they can still pull that off. Discord was awesome and really a perfect villain for MLP. He's camp but still sinister and really presents a nice sense of (safe-ish) danger to the otherwise tranquil Pony world. I'd totally love to see more with this guy... maybe I'll actually read the inevitable fic? Also I LOVE PINKIE OH MY GOD. The Chocolate Rain jokes... priceless! It's great that the writers are at least considering pop culture and the huge fan response. Lauren Faust I love you so much. <3333 I was not feeling very good or happy today (fuck football), but ponies totally made my day better.

I mean I read the spoilers others had posted (because I like doing that don't judge me) but... it's not like watching it yourself. It was a good idea with the twisting of everyone's character, though I was legit shocked when Discord just flat-out Mind Raped Fluttershy after she was no fun for him. Poor Fluttershy ;; Also Discord effectively giving Rainbow her wings back so he could win was... genius, really. I mean, a dick move, but it's a nice change from an antagonist being an utter idiot and not trying to win out. I've played so many games or watched so many films where my train of thought as been 'Why doesn't the Big Bad just come and squash the protagonist right at the start?'. The real answer is 'because no-one wants a 5 minute long game/movie', but as said, this is a nice twist. Can't wait to see how next week's episdoe goes!
