It's not that it's over nerfed, it's that it's poorly written. And you assume we're not nerfing it.

I assume nothing. I just like that it's gone because it means no poor soul will be wasting their SP on that garbage.

Pokémon Ability: Read A Book
Upon entry into battle, real life Physics comes into play. This may involve certain Pokémon exploding, disappearing, falling, choking, starving or dying for as of yet unknown reasons mainly because they exist of inorganic material. Nevertheless, the majority of opponents are forced into a Pokécentre stay whether it was Slapstick or not. Attacks also follow physic's guidelines and some attacks may work differently than previously expected or even not at all. There is no ref's discretion. Each ref is expected to calculate the appropriate velocities, mass, speed and other such pointless values to deduce what would really happen.

Yeah Zubat is a pretty great addition as a TL1. Sadly it doesn't improve by that much as it evolves. Crobat is awesome but it's not, like, a world above Zubat.

Honest question:

Would it be worth holding off my Zubats evolution untill Im high enough of a TL to get Crobat?

Im asking becasue of the whole "no eyes thing," which seems pretty useful given that HYpnosis and Double Team dont really work.

Moves Golbat learns that Zubat doesn't: Screech, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact.

Not the worst shout ever, in all honestly. Sneezey had an unevolving Zubat.

I mean, Screech is pretty good, but Zubat has a plethora of jamming moves.

By jamming, do you mean stuff like Supersonic and Confuse Ray?

Then why specifically ask about Ethereal?

Ghosts can shift form once per round, either ordered or through idle shift. Ghost Pokemon shift form in an idle dodge to minimise damage. So, a Gengar being targeted with the likes of a Tackle will just shift from Solid (natural form) to Ethereal and avoid damage totally. Likewise, a Pokemon in Ethereal which can shift to Solid will do so if a special attack is levied at it. This only occurs if the Pokemon has enough time to do it though. For example, a Pokemon which is in the Solid form having an attack Sucker Punched won't have time to shift, and will take the full damage from being stricken by Sucker Punch while in the Solid state.

Good enough? If I've fucked up here or forgot to mention something someone should totally interject and shut me up.

Yeah, stuff that prevents the foe from attacking.

Sableye, and most ghosts for that matter, have plenty of techniques for stopping foes, for example.

Sadly it was reached through consensus last night that Dodrio is far and away the worst Normal/Flying Pokémon.

Which is a shame, because it's awesome. But so very bad.

I think the topic started with Bictiwl and how good it was, then someone mentioned Staraptor was bad, which is a lie because it's pretty awesome.

Thus the hunt for the worst Normal/Flying began, culminating in a three-way tie of Dodrio, Chatot and Unfezant.

Then I actually checked and it was Dodrio. Its only off-type is Dark (Pursuit, Payback) and Steel Wing. Only ranged Flying attack is Air Cutter. Oh and no flight.

Sad times were had.
